Part of the problem is that the most influential voices are people for whom the status quo has worked out well. Celebrities. Politicians. Pundits. Plutocrats. Meanwhile those who’ve been crushed by existing systems are voiceless. This creates the illusion that those systems work.

People often (correctly) cite General Wesley Clark’s famous “seven countries in five years” statement to show how evil the drivers of the US empire are, but I also like to use it to show what dumb, incompetent failmeisters they are. They really thought they’d be able to topple all those countries in five years. Nineteen years later and they’re still flailing. Don’t be intimidated by these assholes.

Humanity is more than capable of standing up to these sick fucks. They overestimate themselves and underestimate the rest of us. We shouldn’t do the same. A lot of people talk about elite manipulators like they’re these unstoppable, god-like forces when nothing could be further from the truth.

Our species is in its current situation because a few primates without functioning empathy centers got a little more clever than the other primates. That’s it. There are still vast forces in our universe and within each of us that can slap the empire away like a sand castle under a tsunami. They’re little kids riding a temporary wave through a universe that they do not understand. There are changes and upheavals coming that they won’t be able to control any more than a hang glider in a tornado.

Everyone with an ear to the ground has a suspicion that the elite manipulators are up to something big, but just because they’re planning something doesn’t mean they will succeed. There are forces bubbling to the surface right now which their sociopathic little minds cannot anticipate.

During the Assange trial arguments about when it’s okay for journalists to publish documents exposing government malfeasance, please don’t lose sight of the fact that governments should not ever be permitted to hide evidence of their malfeasance in the first place.

~

There are three possibilities if you support Assange’s extradition to the United States, and only three:

  1. You are a part of the power establishment Assange’s work embarrassed.
  2. You are uninformed about the realities of his case.
  3. You just have a severely underdeveloped conscience.

~

No American thinks their government should be shooting Reuters journalists in cold blood, yet a shocking number of them are fine with imprisoning Assange for exposing the fact that it did.

~

The persecution of Assange is will continue under Biden, who is just as much an authoritarian thug as Trump, and all the rightists who claimed this was a 4-D chess move by Trump to free Assange are going to pretend they didn’t abandon him to “trust the plan” in his hour of need

~

Do you know why Democrats fixate on imaginary Russia conspiracies instead of the actual evil things Trump is doing in real life? I will tell you. It’s because those Democrats have no objection to the actual evil things Trump is doing in real life.

~

Every Fucking Trump Supporter: Why don’t you support our president, Caitlin? He’s ending the wars!

Me: No he’s not, look at the facts.

Every Fucking Trump Supporter: Well you can’t just expect him to simply end the wars, don’t be a naive idiot.

~

Trumpists who rightly criticize Bush and Obama’s wars as deep state depravity always defend Trump’s continuation of those wars by saying it’s because the deep state has too much control over his administration. Bush and Obama are deep state puppets, but somehow Trump isn’t by the exact same standards.

~

The killers who are racking up the major body count right now are not the communists, nor the Nazis, nor the Muslims, nor the Russians or the Chinese, but the so-called moderate centrists of the so-called liberal world order that is led by the United States. What our insane society calls “centrists” are actually violent, tyrannical extremists.

They don’t prefer sanctions because they’re more peaceful than all-out war, they prefer sanctions because they’re easier to manufacture consent for. Start a war and you risk creating an antiwar movement. Kill the same number of people with sanctions and it’ll barely be noticed.

All complaints about leftists from Democrats can be answered with “Have you tried not sucking?”

~

What is the correct response to being threatened that your civil rights will be taken away if you don’t support one of two deeply evil candidates? Is it to say “Yessir, whatever you say sir,” or is it to tear down the system which allows such malicious threats to be made?

~

The first step to forming a solid understanding of the world is dispensing with the belief that others have a solid understanding of the world. The world is full of prominent people who act like they know what’s going on, and they’re mostly bullshitting. Follow no one and trust only your own inner sensemaker; everyone else is lost too.

  1. There is a fourth possibility based on evidence: their desire to kill Assange
which would replace the extradition fight into recriminations and outrage for years
misdirecting WikiLeakers away from gathering data “to discover what the hell is going on.”

No one “wants” Julian extradited, we Want him Free. But this is not the only strategy.
We USAers could make such a noise it would be incredible.
The 10 year fight so far has been against the UK. It belongs here in the face of the accusers.

de Noli recounted Julian’s to warning to keep the Wikileaking the focus.

  2. “People often (correctly) cite General Wesley Clark’s famous “seven countries in five years” statement to show how evil the drivers of the US empire are, but I also like to use it to show what dumb, incompetent failmeisters they are. They really thought they’d be able to topple all those countries in five years.”

—-This is wildly incorrect. The Project for a New American Century’s literature includes the direct implication that pulverizing these countries into competing, easily managed microstates was just as useful (if not more so) as turning them into functioning nation states, which might well turn into, collectively if not individually, regional powers hostile to the interests of the U.S. empire.

What appears to Caitlin as dysfunction or ineptitude was very probably design, if not outright indifference to the outcome—and to the body counts.

    1. “What appears to Caitlin as dysfunction or ineptitude was very probably design, if not outright indifference to the outcome—and to the body counts.”
      `
I agree with Blair’s surmise : there is an indifference to massMisery and massDeath … something of grave implication which needs proper investigation. The detective’s key question in this case is : what kind of creature benefits from misery and death ? The traditional answer is ghouls and demons … an answer never disproven by self-proclaimed scientists or sceptics, but merely ridiculed as “impossible” what is simply disAgreeable.
      `
As Sherlock Holmes famously taught : once we have eliminated the impossible, the remaining hypothesis, no matter how improbable, must be the key to a mystery which has plagued mankind for all of recorded (permitted) history.
      `
Since 1998, we have had a better description of the origin of this alarming and unpalatable social reality, a description from a trained and qualified anthroplogist … which “somehow” has had zero effect on the ontology of Evil.
      `
For those who find the idea of a mindParasite objectionable, Sherlock’s lesson is particularly pertinent. The mudShadows fit the dynamic which Blair has independently observed.

      1. Agreed Blair and Peter. However where this led me to is goal is the destruction of infrastructure. Minimally anyways.
        All these things are “benefits”.

        1. Difficult to identify what Horsman is agreeing with.
I certainly do not see destruction of infrastructure as a goal, and what is meant by “benefits” is incalculable.
          `
Do you really think like you post ?

  3. “They don’t prefer sanctions because they’re more peaceful than all-out war, they prefer sanctions because they’re easier to manufacture consent for. Start a war and you risk creating an antiwar movement.

    `
Thanks for publishing this powerful insight, Caitlin. I fully concur with this revolutionary perspective.
The oppressors of mankind are bluffers who exploit timidity and ignorance … which is why we should be courageously truthful and self-informed.
    `
The quote above fits with my allegation that there is a player in USA’s agenda which profits from massDeath and massMisery, applied by stealth with obfuscation. Whether the politicians who pretend to represent their voters are aware of this subText to their results is immaterial to its existence … and with it the implicit existence of a self-hiding manipulator.
    `
When in doubt about how to respond, do the opposite of what an enemy wants.

  4. “tear down the system”?

Yeah. That’s worked out so well in the past. French Revolution. Bolshevik Revolution. Pol Pot. And the list goes on.

    1. May I add George Washington?

      1. The American Revolution was not really a revolution, and did not tear down everything. It was a war of independence, that evolved what there was to another level. Some would argue that it stopped short. Jefferson advocated real change every 20 years or so. He could have been right.

Besides, what does Caitlin advocate to replace it with?

Tearing down is easy. Creating something better (though imperfect) from what is here is hard…

        1. An informed contribution from Vera asks what does Caitlin advocate ? to replace the current fiasco.
          `
A genuine change, as distinct from a change of tyrants, requires a revolution of morality and perceptiveness. \
          `
Caitlin does her bit by setting an example as an investigative journalist, in that her moral values are based in decency rather than obedience.
          `
It’s up to us, the reader to learn by her example, to develop skills of cutting past obfuscation to the core dynamics, and bringing the fruit of investigation to the attention of we who are consenting to being lied at by those entrusted with national security.
          `
Having removed the distortions currently tolerated, the situation can evolve.
          `
It does not take much imagination to see how the French Revolution, the Bolsheviks, and Pol Pot were acting out the same agenda as the false gods who convinced Aztec priests that without human sacrifice the Sun would not rise.
          `
The preceding civilisation, which the Aztecs looted and erased (and then admired because they could not match the Toltec refinements) … were well aware of what they termed Mud Shadows.
          `
This knowledge survived in scattered lineages, and was eventually published in 1998 to resounding silence and disregard … evidence in itself of active interference in what we are permitted to think.
          `
Only the mudShadows explain the paradox of mankinds contradictions : of high intelligence and godly aspiration contrasted by the grotesque stupidity in interPersonal behaviour.
          `
The existence of 2 contradictory minds and 2 agendas is explained by a secretive symbiont which feeds on distress, and profits from overPopulating the planet … with the most passionate of livestock.
          `
These creatures are so certain of their dominance that they forecast their intent to harvest mankind like a crop of wheat … at Armageddon.
          `
Countermeasures to this interference will make the needed difference in the coming confrontation. Countermeasures already proven by our ancestors, but put aside by Christianity’s false promise of divine salvation.
          `
Rigorous truthfulness is a core countermeasure to a deceitful adversary : the Dakota Nation embodied this in law : “Death for the First Proven Lie”.
          `
The history which Christianity tried to erase from public memory is of nations which persisted without tyranny … in the mistaken belief that dissent from obedience to priests is the work of the Devil.
          `
Look to the mudShadows for the missing pieces of the ontological jigsaw puzzle, and you will find the origin of the difficulty with previous revolutions.
          `

      2. In every single facet of human endeavor, success comes at the end of a lengthy process of trial and error and lose of life……the wright brothers didn’t get up one morning and just decide to have a go of flight.

Lumping Pol Pot in with the Bolsheviks shows nothing learnt. The Bolsheviks pulled out of WW1 and were invaded the next year by the west, the civil war decimated the country and paved the way for Stalin.

The Anarchists took power in Spain and Franco smashed that revolution, with the aid of Germany. Italian revolution smashed by Mussolini. Everywhere fascism rose revolutions were put to the sword.

Nicaragua smashed by the US. What about indonesia in 1966?

The Indonesians had the guts to take power, and what happened, the USA and Australia worked with the Indonesian military in murdering between 700,000 and 900,000 Indonesians. The Australian workers were too busy watching the cricket to notice the genocide taking place.

Yeah. That’s worked out so well in the past. French Revolution. Bolshevik Revolution. Pol Pot. And the list goes on.

No offence, but this is a typical cop out statement, that renders movements by revolutions and the thousands of books and pamphlets, experiences, lives sacrificed inconsequential.

“The world political situation as a whole is chiefly characterized by a historical crisis of the leadership of the proletariat.

All talk to the effect that historical conditions have not yet “ripened” for socialism is the product of ignorance or conscious deception. The objective prerequisites for the proletarian revolution have not only “ripened”; they have begun to get somewhat rotten. Without a socialist revolution, in the next historical period at that, a catastrophe threatens the whole culture of mankind. The turn is now to the proletariat, i.e., chiefly to its revolutionary vanguard. The historical crisis of mankind is reduced to the crisis of the revolutionary leadership.”

The Death Agony of Capitalism and the Tasks of the Fourth International

Where are the brave hearts ready to risk all? To do nothing means certain annihilation, yet we seem prepared to do just that. It’s not failed perspectives that have failed, its our failure to do what is necessary.

Does not matter what the system is, the levels of freedom, the standard of living and social interaction is that which the people themselves set by their own behavior. If your government wages genocidal war and you do nothing, it won’t belong before it comes back to bite you on the arse. While I sympathize with the backs in America, appealing to war criminals in government for whom “no lives matter” is not only futile but unprincipled and can lead nowhere.

Sure we need proper systems in place, but until we accept that the buck stops with everyone of us, nothing will change. That means getting stuck into those who blame everything from China to the Jews………they ain’t the problem….you are, time to grow up.

Now I will crawl back under my rock……..fuck the Chinese have moved in while I was gone

    2. “What our insane society calls “centrists” are actually violent, tyrannical extremists.”
IMHO Caitlin has a rather high opinion of humans. It’s what most primates do more generally.

  5. There is this computer game I’m playing just now, the name of it is “Wildermyth” (you can get it on Steam). Anyhow, in this game there is one character type out of three, who has the ability to “interfuse” with the scenery. So on one type of scenery (can’t remember just now), the “Mystic” has the ability to cause a brutal pointed pole to shoot out towards the enemy. This pole is brutal because it cuts through whatever it encounters – enemy or friend alike. So, a Mystic must be careful when using this. Anyhow, in my mind, I envision a pole of this sort coming out to strike the Guardian “journalists” who betrayed Julian Assange by publishing the password. Had they not done this, then Julian’s unjust suffering would NOT be happening now and don’t you think they deserve what they get – proportional to the scale of the offense of course, and the scale of this offense is immense. So I hope they get impaled. Right through their balls. I could find their names if I wanted to, but what is the point. Some things are obvious.
    .
Did I say I have a bad attitude? I think I did, but just in case I didn’t….I have a bad attitude. I’m sick of this shit. I’m fedup with it and I’m not the only one. I will take this to the end and I’m not alone.
    .
    You get what you deserve!

    1. Impaled: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/impaled
      .
      Transitive verb, definition 1.b.
      .
Come on folks, don’t be afraid to express how you really feel.
      .
We’re just talking right. We have liberty to do that don’t we?
      .

  6. “Part of the problem is that the most influential voices are people for whom the status quo has worked out well… those who’ve been crushed by existing systems are voiceless.”
    .
They do have a voice. It’s just that the Powers That Be won’t let those voices be heard by anyone. Those being crushed cry out every day, and no one can hear them. And often when others might hear them, they will just turn away.
    .
“The first step to forming a solid understanding of the world is dispensing with the belief that others have a solid understanding of the world. The world is full of prominent people who act like they know what’s going on, and they’re mostly bullshitting. Follow no one and trust only your own inner sensemaker; everyone else is lost too.”
    .
Most people have no inner confidence. Life has taught them (incorrectly) that they can’t trust their own judgment or inner voice or intuition or creative energy. Parents, teachers, clergy, friends and family, bosses, co-workers, bureaucrats, so-called “Experts”, and mass media have effectively convinced people that only the societal power class knows anything and only they possess the answers. They have to teach this to people because that is the source of their power and the spell they hold over people. So, the public becomes convinced they can’t have any confidence in themselves and that they must turn over their Personal Power to others. In fact, many never gain a sense that they possess Personal Power at all.
    .
“The best philosophy points to truths people already know deep down. The best teachings on spiritual enlightenment point to what’s already present here and now. The best art points to the insight that art is happening everywhere all the time.”
    .
By whatever form or means, the best realization that a person can have is that most of the answers they seek are already inside them. Sadly, they look for answers everywhere but there. Goes back to the lack-of-confidence thing.

    1. Be a guide not a gatekeeper and treat everyone like a guide even when they present as a gatekeeper.

Like George Carlin said “nooooobody told me this shit when I was growing up”.

  7. Our species is in its current situation because a few primates without functioning empathy centers got a little more clever than the other primates. That’s it.”

Lack of “empathy centers”?! No, Caitlin and Tim, that isn’t why the “current situation” for our species is the way it is. The reason for the “current situation” is the same as it has always been throughout human history – the moment-to-moment performance of behavior that was/has been/is being “reinforced” with the basic necessities of life – shelter, clothing, food, warmth, “love”, etc. If that behavior is killing better than whatever other animal is in the neighborhood, that (thy?) will be done.

For at least most of the last thousand years, for most humans living in “cities”, anyway, survival means somehow acquiring (doing absolutely anything to acquire) “money” that can be exchanged for those necessities of life, 24/7. Your proposition completely ignores the, for lack of a better word, “immediacy” of an individual human beings’ existential requirements, at any point in human history.

Why do underground miners continue, day after day after day, to risk their lives going deep underground to mine whatever? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their jobs.

Why do mercenaries risk their lives, day after day after day, killing and killing and killing whomever? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their jobs.

Why do people employed in the cigarette industry, from tobacco farmers to factory workers to retail stores, continue to produce and market a cancer-causing substance that will kill millions of people all over the world, year after year after year? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their jobs.

Why do the millions of people directly or indirectly (the pizza parlor, hospital, movie theater, auto-dealership, etc. just down the street from the local Lockheed Martin sub-sub-sub-contractor) employed in the military-security-congressional-industrial complex – SA/FBI/NSA/DHS/CIA/JSOC/USMC/USN/BIW etc. ad infinitum – continue to do, day after day after day, what they do? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their jobs (including regime changes and, very unfortunately, starting a nuclear war).

Why do people employed in the whaling industry continue to risk their lives at sea, day after day after day, killing mammals that live in the oceans of the world? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their jobs.

Why do people employed in the fossil fuel industry continue to explore for fossil fuel on land and at sea, day after day after day when they know in their heart of hearts that what they are doing is poisoning their Mother Earth’s biosphere to the point where Mother Earth will no longer support human life? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their jobs.

What specific behavior does “doing absolutely anything to keep their jobs” consist of? What are all of these people going to do if they feel that their livelihoods are being threatened (that they’re going to become “unemployed”) by candidates for political offices who have control over foreign (war) policy, energy policy, fishing policy, tobacco/asbestos/GM food/GHG policies? Specifically, which candidates for political office are they going to vote for? “Naturally”, for candidates whose “platforms” they believe will lead to the continuation of their livelihoods.

THIS – how we “make our livings” – not our species’ lack of an empathy center, is EXACTLY why “the current situation” is the way it is in the world today. The slowly evolving “system” we human beings have, whether intentionally or unintentionally, “agreed upon” and lived within for the past many thousand of years is the problem.

Therefore, WE have to figure out a better “system” (way of life) very soon or we (the living end of the eons-old human species) are going to die in a nuclear war or an environmental catastrophe.

So, instead of pointing fingers, let us, each and every one of us, start figuring out the specific details of a better way of life. On a day to day basis, just exactly WHAT does that better world “look like”? How does it “operate”? If humanity is going to survive beyond the lifetimes of the present human beings born TODAY, imagining and giving birth to this at-first-only-imagined better world is exactly what WE, not THEM, not SOMEONE ELSE, and definitely not the OTEC, are going to have to do.

If I were you, I’d first try to imagine a system in which each and every person involved in the ways of life I’ve described above is satisfied that they’ll be able to “make a living” (literally survive) should that new system come into being. Put differently, they’d vote for it.

That’s your challenge. Humanity’s survival depends upon your ability to “think outside” the present-day, soon-to-fail, irresolvable conundrum in which we are now living.

What will the “foundation stone” of YOUR system be? Will it be the same one at the foundation of the present conundrum – “greed is good” – that all every single human being of 7.4 billion individuals has to do is get out of bed every day and attempt to satisfy his/her insatiable greed and “the current situation” will turn out just fine for the collective whole of humanity?

No, the foundation stone of a better world must not be “greed is good”. It must be something miraculously simple – to “do unto other as you would have them do unto you” because

there. is. no. other. way. out. of. the. “current. situation”.

That is the most obvious “thing” in the world, even to a 70-year-old atheist like myself.

But the OTEC will vehemently, violently disagree, because they would not be able to remain the OTEC in an “economic” system that had such a revolutionary foundation. The OTEC need the greed-based system that has been around forever. But the greed-based system is failing, so we will soon find out what the OTEC have up their sleeves to keep the present fatally-flawed system on life-support from literally one day to the next. How can I predict this future behavior of the OTEC with absolute certainty? Money. That’s how they “make a living”. They’ll do absolutely anything to keep their “jobs”.

    1. I agree. The Golden Rule: such a simple but revolutionary concept.

    2. Down the pipe, Ishkabbible. Atheist you may be, and I respect that, but your message is similar to what some believe to be the teaching of the historical Jesus, as best it can be reconstructed. You might want to check out the free sample of a strange and marginal little booklet by clicking on the picture of the cover. You wouldn’t like the metaphysics, no doubt, but I think you’d love what’s said about money.

      https://www.amazon.com/Life-Truth-synoptic-gospel-Theophilus-ebook/dp/B00NIZOJ4C

    3. This really is the heart of the matter.

What’s so insidious about OTEC is they spout so much nice guy free market propaganda, while using all kinds of direct and indirect action like sanctions, coups, war, etc to keep people from having mutually beneficial relationships with each other. Then they advertise the failed beneficial attempts to fortify their position. Pure evil.

    4. oh shit, i always thought it was: “do unto others as they have done to you”, you know, an eye for an eye – indifference for indifference – hypocrisy for hypocrisy – tit for tat – damn, now i’ll have to start my life all over again.

    5. What you are saying about behavior, is true, but its not hard wired, its a production of indoctrination.

There are no shortage of people with the knowledge and expertise to build a better world……if we can get to the moon, far more complex undertaking? Its too late for that at any rate, due to peak oil, we do not have the oil reserves to build the infrastructure needed to transition to renewables that cannot replace the energy density of fossil fuels. One barrel of oil contains the energy of one man working 24/7 and provides each of us with the equivalent of 150 slaves.

57of the 65 oil producing nations have passed peak production and the remaining oil is sour crude that is more expensive to refine and has to be forced to the surface. We currently use 6 barrels of oil for every one we find, and we use 1 billion barrels every 11 days. We no longer meet current requirements , much less future requirements that is why they are resorting fracking and using shale and tar sands. The system is in free fall, there will be no recovery.

Earth’s population grew from 2 billion in the 1800’s to where it is currently because of the discovery of oil as an energy source….a finite resource.

The problem we have not come one bit closer to is overcoming the problem of the rule of psychopaths’ Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Alexander the great etc, are still revered as great leaders….as is the lunatic Trump for that matter.

We are good at the science bit, but when it comes to standing up and doing the principled courageous bit….we fall flat on our faces
Admittedly the rebels that grasp the imagination of the people are immediately killed off. MLK, Malcom X, the Black Panthers, John Lennon.

I came across this by a radical/clinical psychologist…and I agrre with what he says https://www.filmsforaction.org/articles/killing-the-things-we-love/#_=_

      Killing the Things We Love
The increasingly unscrupulous propaganda machine of radical corporate capitalism is warping our humanity and driving us to destroy what is closest to our hearts, says clinical psychologist John F Schumaker. The last hope of defeating this evil might lie in the strategic use of its own psychology.

    6. Ishkabibble, you call yourself an atheist, yet your beliefs are those of a materialist … which disregard our aspirations, which materialist ideology cannot explain or account for.
A truncated realityMap … truncates what you can think about, and an ideologue cannot be an atheist.
      `
Caitlin speaks of forces which you disregard because they are absent from the religion of Materialism : “They’re little kids riding a temporary wave through a universe that they do not understand. There are changes and upheavals coming that they won’t be able to control any more than a hang glider in a tornado.”
      `
Your denial of the existence of the faculty which provides empathy is classic materialist denial of observableReality on religious grounds. This dysLogic makes real aTheists look stupid by association, because denial of reality is a core dynamic in all forms of mental illness.
      `
Telling an empath like Caitlin that empathy doesn’t exist is absurd.
Such absurdities render your reasoning invalid.
Obvious things are not necessarily true ; they are an artifact of awareness, another crucial topic which materialists cannot meaningfully engage with.

  8. Always valuable reading your diaries, you have strong faith in everyone’s limited abilities, but , as you point out everyone starts from a base that is sound and all you need do is keep checking with yourself that your not leaving it. The example of the Americans shooting Reuter’s journalists is apt, people need to check with themselves sometimes to see if basic decency has been flouted. Thank you Caitlin.ps you write things that no other journalists write, and I read some good ones.

  9. It has taken much longer than five years but they’ve conquered four of the seven: Iraq, Somalia, Libya, and Sudan. They almost toppled Syria until the Russians came to the rescue. Lebanon is now under attack. When they are done Iran is the last move.

Most people are unaware of the conquests of Somalia and Sudan, explained here:

    1. Would you kindly define “conquer”?
      .
      I beg to differ.
      .
If anything, the countries are now WAY more antagonistic then they would have ever been if they had just been left alone, and the long-term thinker recognizes that this would be in the long-term interest of the citizens of the country…..
      .
Problem, I’m sad to confirm, is that the elected individuals in place today in most Western countries could give a shit about what the citizens think. How ironic.
      .
That in a nutshell is the problem.
      .
The solution has been posted elsewhere.
      .
I sure hope Julian Assange is let go and given his freedom that has been stolen from him and we all know how unjust this is, and so I believe a response that cannot be misinterpreted is demanded in this situation if it goes down how it seems the power that be have already decided. God help them, when frustration is unleashed upon those who are responsible for this travesty of justice.
      .
The scales are in the balance is how it seems to me.

    2. I don’t know. Saying the Americans conquered 4 of the 7 by creating complete chaos is not exactly victory; unless, saying getting one guy out but not getting anyone else in is victory. Maybe? I look at the American Military. Very decent guys doing what they think is honourable. Only, they’re the poorest people with the most inadequate education operating equipment they don’t understand; I think chaos will always be the likely result. Look at how Americans spend money on their Military budgets–pay way too much for the silliest of items, That’s not a sign of brute strength, but incompetence. A bloated Military is not a sign of valour, but guys buying new toys all the time. I understand Military roles offering job possibilities, but I kind of think everyone joining the Army to find a job means war is an employment opportunity. That’s not good.

      1. It’s a horrible trick to get them to do what they do and it’s tragic that all that honorable energy is not better utilized:

        1. Our young crave honorable real work and training beyond gig, fulfillment, etc
        2. The student loan industry is one of the most slimy predatory things ever
        3. Sleazy for profit predatory colleges everywhere and legitimate colleges inflated with cheap loans for stadiums, rock walls, plush dorms, etc.

it’s diabolical and part of the complete breakdown of our society

The War on Sensemaking, Daniel Schmachtenberger

Daniel is one of the good guys. This video is long and I admit to not watching the whole thing yet. It is nearly two hours long and there is a part two and three. I only found the video yesterday.

Those who oppose change (those who are stupid and have it good) will not want you to watch these videos. I think if enough people watch it we could figure out how to stop the ignorant selfish and powerful.

A few minutes in: “ I look forward to getting into why we have as broken and information ecology as we have and what it would take to correct that and how we can make sense of the world even in the broken information ecology now.

Personally I have seen a civilization crash coming for decades. Everything that is happening now, myself and others predicted long ago. Capitalism has everyone in a consuming isolated box with no regard for others or tomorrow. A system was set up to benefit a small minority at the expense of our species survival. Now with things breaking down, if enough people can get deep enough into correcting their SENSEMAKING it would be good. Existential survival is at stake making ‘it would be good’ an understatement.

    1. With a systems perspective, you can tell how things will turn out once the incentives are in place. You can turn your back and know how it will turn out good or bad.

It’s shocking how many don’t realize how precipitous things are right now. It’s gonna blow.

The music’s still playing, but look closer and you’ll see some important people have already left the party…because they know.

      1. Yep, we are on a speeding train, with “bridge out” signs every 5 meters along the tracks, but no one sees the signs, or wants to see them, as they stare blankly into their iPhones

I thought the invasion of Iraq would have everyone descending on parliament house Canberra, to put the mother fuckers in jail…..that we were doing nothing, done my head and its only got worse.

Millions give their uncritical support to Sanders and Trump, because they are desperate for a savior and do not want to know about the details, but are we any better at walking the talk?

“When you let go and require no reward or end result and fear no consequences…you are there.”
        That’s it’s brother

  11. “Humanity is more than capable of standing up to these sick fucks. They overestimate themselves and underestimate the rest of us. We shouldn’t do the same. A lot of people talk about elite manipulators like they’re these unstoppable, god-like forces when nothing could be further from the truth.” This is Caitlin’s constant bracing refrain, yet so many of the comments that follow her posts go in precisely the opposite direction, express dystopian resignation and despair for the only conceivable purpose of enabling a momentary and futile feeling of superiority, of being able to say “I told you so” when humanity slides down the shit shoot. I wonder why people who feel this way, have resigned themselves to the extinction of everything we love and cherish, even bother to come here and comment. They’re so totally out-of-sync with the rousing, revolutionary, and, yes, ultimately hopeful spirit Caitlin brings to this blog and does her utmost to ignite in us. I’m not talking about obvious trolls, but about abject defeatists. Do they get what Caitlin is all about, do they think she is one of them, or do they come here merely to shit on her parade?

    1. Humanity will not rise up until it becomes unbearable. Food riots will be the fastest route I imagine.

      1. Perhaps the most hopeful comment I’ve seen you make. Thank you, Khatika. YES, things will likely have to get a lot worse before humanity rises up. I hope we’re both still here to rise up with the rest of our brothers and sisters. But until then, and even if we’re not here to participate in it, we can at least do our best, inspired by people like Caitlin, to keep the fire smoldering until the Great Ignition.

    2. Fortifying our skeptical seer gift with things like integrity, dignity, stewardship, truth and love allows us to face anything. When you let go and require no reward or end result and fear no consequences…you are there.

      1. Yes you are…but while we should let go of all egotism and thus require no reward or end result for ourselves, yet we must passionately believe in and work for a better, more beautiful world. It’s that pursuit alone that can create solidarity and ground us in the present moment.

        1. Letting go of self-importance is a contradiction in terms : self-importance does not leave voluntarily … it must be evicted piece by piece, each time by insight and resolute decision.

  12. Thanks to the covid con there are no civil rights left to be taken away . The removal of civil rights and equality has always been a bipartisan project in America since the end of WW2. What is going on in Australia is ample proof that oppression and repression has gone global using a Chinese model of neoliberalism worked out after Mao’s death and the restructuring of Russia when capitalism and and socialism became one .

  13. The entire hegemonic tyrannical system is financed by fiat currency and debt. Which is in the process of failing. Which is why the Psychopaths In Charge are flailing. They pulled the trigger on their own suicide long ago. Let’s all pray that they don’t take too many of us with them. Unfortunately, being psychopaths, they are likely to try.

    1. With elite power it seems the house always wins. If the board is tilting they’re probably doing it or at least they’re already setup to exploit the shift. All we can do is keep our eyes open, plan as best we can, and keep fighting the good fight.

  14. Reminds me of a friend of mine years ago. He loved to start big projects and get other people involved, then never finish them. I called him an idea man. Too many idea men running America it seems.

  15. Thank you for calling these wannabe clever 2-leggers assholes and stupid fucks. i’ve had enough of their crap for more years than even a most vivid imagination warrants. Written and composed about their shenanigans since the 60s, but few wanted, or dared, to listen, to see, to imagine, and with each passing decade the few became fewer. The evil ones, those stupid fucks, murdered the good ones, and continue to do so, or, as in Assange’s case, have chosen slow torture. But, there are means to right this Caitlin, as you’ve been saying. Creative means, art/music/etc as one. However, there are other means too, though i suggest keeping them to yourself as self-defense for when the time demands their unleashing. That moment was now. Defend honor and integrity or perish. This essay is the Caitlin i admire. rogue composer

  16. “No American thinks their government should be shooting Reuters journalists in cold blood, yet a shocking number of them are fine with imprisoning Assange for exposing the fact that it did.”

No Caitlin, I fear that all too many Americans are quite OK with this if there was any chance said journalists would expose their government shooting foreign civilians in cold blood. An even larger number are see no evil, hear no evil monkeys who just don’t want to know about it.

    1. Refraining from putting all of humanity of trial…is a big struggle of mine…especially when I’m discussing things with my wife and start using her as the proxy for humanity. That doesn’t go so well.

      1. Well DAVENITUP that sort of rings true to me and it truly made me laugh a bit thinking about what you express…..funny how we judge the ones so close to us. But you know I’m sure it is a two-way street.
        .
Without my wife I doubt I would amount to anything.
        .
        Peace,
        Ken

    2. I’ve encountered a lot of so-called liberals who are fine with Assange being persecuted, not because of the Collateral Murder publication, but because they still believe the BS rape stories and they actually blame him for Trump’s election. They will sometimes even admit how wrong it is, but still allow their irrational emotions to rule. These are supposedly “smart” people!

  17. Dear Caitlin,
Finally someone who wants to fight these mother fuckers…….and it is a totally a psychological war. They are nothing but bullies, who are as weak as shit and who crave power to validate their fucked up ego’s on the one hand, and on the other, an indoctrinated infantile populace, kept in a state of constant flux, fear and insecurity (and self loathing) in a matrix of normalized insanity. Indoctrination throws up behavior identical to that of personality disorders…….of adults with the maturity of 10 year old’s, who are emotionally overwhelmed and scrambling to get their needs met in an adult world that they ill equipped to do, and have no capacity to consider the needs of others. They are completely subservient to authority figures and totally dependent on the system of their oppression for a sense of stability. That why a guy like Sanders gains so much uncritical support, ….they are desperate for answer via the ballot box, the betrayals of Obama are erased from the memory banks.

I have fought these arseholes before, exploiting their Achilles heel of public ridicule and shame for which they have no defense (http://www.elohtibbarehtnwod.com/) I ended up being framed and jailed to shut me up…..fat chance, they have destroyed my friends and family……fuck their law

This about retaining the only thing worth living for….our humanity, that is viewed as an impediment to ruthless idiotic drive for profits. Pop culture today is totally devoid of anything dealing with the human condition, and what is on offer is the sum total of the “banality of evil”

Can we bet them? Absolutely, by exposing just how pathetic and weak they are, and there is nothing to be afraid of other than fear itself. And as John Lennon said, violence is their stock and trade…..cutting biting aggressive satire is what they cannot deal with and it is the best way to engage and sway the mass of people….
    https://soundcloud.com/daniel-davidson-27

I am ostracized by my family , isolated due to chronic fatigue and treatment that helps a great deal………and is a long story. The isolation is the real killer, and the only thing that keeps me going is organizing what I need to launch an attack on the gate keepers…..in law and psychiatry.

I am 61 and terrified of not getting to fight…….

Hopefully this makes some sense…..writing is particularly draining

“Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth — more than ruin, more even than death.
Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habits; thought is anarchic and lawless, indifferent to authority, careless of the well-tried wisdom of the ages. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid … Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man.”

― Bertrand Russell, Why Men Fight

    1. Right there with you David. Fight them or perish. Thank you, rogue composer

      1. That’s it in a nutshell…or tortoise shell or whatever. They only have one game, and it ain’t that complicated? Are we lacking in imagination or corlone?

        Rogue composer
Any rogue tracks doin the rounds?

    2. Hello David, i like your desire to fight the degrading of mankind. I myself have been fighting stupidity, which is arguably our greatest enemy.
      `
“Men fear [freedom of] thought as they fear nothing else on earth — more than ruin, more even than death.” This seems unNatural, an artefact designed to cripple the faculty which Bertrand Russell described as “Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. It sees man, a feeble speck, surrounded by unfathomable depths of silence ; yet it bears itself proudly, as unmoved as if it were lord of the universe. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man.”
      `
We see the crippling of the mind by the bible, where everyone is commanded to believe contradictions (for example a god of perfect love tortures unbelievers for eternity). Believing such nonsense injures the faculty of reason, as is evident when having a conversation with a believer in divine salvation ; when pointed out, the discontinuities of reasoning are meaningless and dismissed with a memorised piece of dogma.
      `
If we regard the bible as an artifact from a nonHuman origin (as all Christians are required to believe), so too would be the antiRational fear of freedom-of-thought i cited first, be an artifact from a nonHuman origin. The bible is unambiguously opposed to freedom, with heretics and witches deemed blasphemers … and liable to be murdered without sin. “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” is in instruction to kill those who access higher awareness, and is today’s unspoken “moral” justification for the “war on drugs”.
      `
Your description of Rachel might as easily been “diagnosed” as manicDepressive, which i have seen in action. My conclusion was that the instability is due to a lack of mental sobriety, which is the intent to find the truth of the matter.
      `
Friendship with such people is an uphill battle because they prioritise adventure/novelty in experience above perceptiveness and self-discipline. They have low impulse resistance, undiscriminating of the origin and likely outcome of abandon.
      `
You were outshone by a predator who played to Rachel’s battered self-importance ; she wanted to be adored more than to be loved … because she did not have sufficient sobriety to discern between the genuine and the spectacular counterfeit, nor to see the distinction as meaningful. Lack of sobriety is vulnerability to predators, yet from the cradle to the grave … we are infantalised, undermining our intent to find the truth of the matter.
      `
Patronising parents, school teachers, prefects, advertisers, religioneers, politicians, coppers … all act as if we are incompetent and untrustworthy, regardless of our age and accomplishment. Only the rich can buy themselves free of infantalisation, but even then, who can be trusted to provide advice on how to manage freedom ? when freedom is forbidden to all but a few ruthless warlords and wealthy innovators.
      `
Do you think CFS may be a psychosomatic symptom ? of the alienation resulting from your refusal to agree with manipulative nonSense.
      `
Or might chronic fatigue be an injury inflicted to disable some of those who oppose the stupefying of mankind ? a personalised sabotage by the authors of irrational fear and “holy books” ?, whom the toltec describe as mudShadows.

      1. Hello Peter
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Rachael was definitely border line, nevertheless the problems of impulsivity and the overwhelming desire for romanticized love in Rachael case, mood swings depression, binge drinking and anxiety were all present. (as opposed to histrionic personality disorder, where the person needs constant validation that they are irresistible to the opposite sex, like most of the women on the bachelorette as if they have all fallen for the same guy….it’s about self validation

Half of my family is borderline and unapproachable, not willing to consider getting help, and there is nothing you can do.

Rachael was completely different. She was highly intelligent and open about having issues that she knew had come from abuse as a child. She is what is known as a quiet borderline, so she didn’t act out, she wasn’t promisquese and hated lying. She was the sweetest person I have ever met and I wanted to help her, as she wanted help and I knew the risks I was taking. This is something she wrote that shows the level of introspection she possessed

        SHYNESS
        By Rachael Anne Keogh
Shyness she wears like a cloak.
Inky black it shrouds her when she least requires its folds to stifle who she is
Superfluous, unwanted self chastisement, it is the belittling factor of self-doubt that underscores ones worth and achievements, or even one’s desirability
The demonic voice of uncertainty bites at the beleaguered persons heels Subtlety is the crux of the swinging pendulum of emotions
In the presence of one’s friends it is easy to be loud, playful, joyful, skittish; like the gambolling skip of a child
One can reveal their lightness of being…..ebullience bubbles to the surface
It breaks through the facade to shine the eyes and bring warmth to the weary
Friends laugh and cajole, further repartee
Recitation of adventure past, propel the spring to ebb and flow, the tangy exploits, flavoursome moments
Mercurial memories dart here and there,
Spilling and spitting forth a kaleidoscope of colour and depth
Alas, the heart has many chambers
Rainbows can give way to shadows
Unobtrusive thought can darken to jagged rocks of pointy edge pain
Slicing the tender soft soul to throb perplex and question, and second guess an action undertaken
At some points you stand tall, strong, empowered like a Grecian statue, resplendent in the prayers from acolytes past
At other times you crawl like a tiny mouse, fearful of being seen or heard, hence the fragility of your state be revealed to the predators of doubt that reside in one’s conscious corners.

We were never couple and we still saw each other 5 times a week even when she was with this other guy, they suggested I moved in, as he could give her nothing emotionally, and it suited them both….I declined and rue it now. I could not love another person more, but we did not have to put a label on our relationship and I recall her making a quip about how inane it was to say we were best friends. We were soul mates. We thought the same, and could read each other All the time I was with Rachael we never had a single terse word, and they were the happiest days of both our lives. I consider myself very fortunate to have been her friend

I sold her short when her assailant forbade her see me because of an incident I won’t go into, because of the tendency to abandon…but just before he died, she had been trying to contact me.

Rachael demise was not due to her condition…though she was vulnerable. The police did not follow procedure and we saw doctors for 3 years that could not diagnose borderline and there is an article stating at that time if you had borderline in Melbourne seeking help often meant you would end up worse.

That she had a friend that would do anything for her and that she wanted help….to end up dead, and myself in jail is beyond vile.

With respect, there is too much conjecture around CFS as being related to stress and environmental issues…..and not just with CFS. Its sore point

Our society is just mental and I am extremely critical of psychiatrists who sell mental as normality. Personality disorders, self loathing, bulimia, anxiety, anxiety due to scarcity are psychological fall out….

While CFC is a syndrome, and while society is sick and the slide into banal stupidity over the last 20 years, I do find traumatising and bewildering, the CFS is unbearable in that it stops me doing what I want and in my case it is caused by an underactive Vegas nerve. I have been in full remission that doctors fucked up by messing around with it against my will.

I didn’t know what I really had until recently, however for about 12 years now I knew it was related to the Vegas nerve due to certain symptoms and asked to have this investigated…..”and of course wtf would I know” as you say, and they resent any input, while it is evident that these drop kicks lack the empathy required for the job and are guessing most of the time.

Point is I wake up its CFC and get it diagnosed and guess what, latest double blind clinical trials from about 2012 on using vegas nerve stimulators mainly used for epilepsy have been successful in treating the condition for over half the participants.

My treating doctor knows all this and when I got the hospital to actually call him to get a referral be he did not do it. I can cope with mental, but not when my life depends on these idiots who strip you of your atonomy

Stupidity and cowardice that is my orientation as well….I am working on something satirical I will post it and piss everyone off tomorrow

I hope you feel really bad as I am now exhausted and its all your fault and I refuse to spell check…..or word check, I miss entire words as well

        Normalized Insanity
        I’m a transistorized, transgenederized, transmogrified trans-human
        A corporatized, commercialized, industrial-strength consumer
A goal setting, gym sweating, debt fretting freak
A social climbing net-worker that’s always on heat
I got my education, majoring in indoctrination
Where they taught me to comply, to never question why
And so I’m chasing an illusion, of success that’s a delusion
That is sending me insane, exploding my brain
And as we teeter on the brink, soon to be extinct
I always wear a smile, coz’ I’m living in denial.

        1. Your answer surprises me. All over the compass.
One thing that stands out is that despite ample proof of the incompetence & pretentiousness of doctors, your reference points for self-understanding are medical/psychiatric myths.
Without clarification of your response, i don’t see how to propose a way forward.

          1. I do not require validation from anyone, or some external measuring stick to know who I am, or to guide my behavior.

As far as personality disorders being debunked as myths, that is just rubbish, as I saw the patterns of behavior with friends and family that were uncanny in it was like they had attended a school that taught this behavior.

I saw a clinical psychologist as it was of concern….am I seeing these patterns or going nuts.

I never blow my trumpet, but I am getting a bit tired of being told what I know and do not know.

According to the psychologist, he had never come across a lay person that came remotely close to seeing these behavioral patterns, to the degree I do , that was better than most trained psychologists in spotting them…….His words after 15 minutes.

Look through Rachael’s evidence and behavior of police is predicted after being caught out and with dated confirming paperwork.

When I was 9 years of age, they hung the last man in Melbourne “Ronald Ryan”. I remember reading the headline in the newspaper and then running to my mother in tears and tugging at her apron as she washed the dishes, “mom, they are going to hang this man for shooting a policeman, has anyone asked why he did it, something bad must have happened to him, you don’t shoot someone for no reason”

I have been like this all my life….I am 61 and I don’t sit around observing behavior at all, its when someone is having a problem that it attracts my attention

You understand that all they are, is behavior associated with PTSD that repeat under particular circumstances.

The catastrophic suicide rate amongst US vets suffer PTSD is due to the circumstances that traumatized them.

If you put people under similar stresses, they tend to react in the same way……because they are all human and have a shared biology.

          2. I am a fucking idiot…….this disorder, that disorder, that is not the point, and you hit the main point that this is about….about humanity. I did recognize what she was, and we did have a special relationship that the state just trashes and treats like garbage, because of the very nature of the state.

The fight is about human dignity and humanity and either we take a principled stand against all manner of abuse, that none of it is acceptable, and that means deposing those in power and holding them to account or we are fucked…..and exposing the gate keepers for what they are. We talk of communism and socialism…..that are taboo subjects, when the first step is wresting control so informed decisions can be made.

I can write about it, which I have already have done, but the point is to provoke to force a response, or its pointless. Fuck them, fuck their laws…
I have been working on this for a few years, as it has to be presented in a coherent and provocative manner.

    3. Dear David,
Regarding your reference to the website elohtibbarehtnwod.com, I too came from an adverse background, but i used the adversity as a spur ; to defend myself i became interested in how things worK. Successful people are all smart, every one of them, in some decisive way.
      `
To me, understanding “how things work” is the most valuable knowledge. I looked at being popular, and thought the price too high (one slip and you are dead.) So, since the shock of Kindergarten (where i discovered to my astonishment that i was confined with barbarians), i went for grooming my intelligence as a countermeasure to the stupidity and malice that shows itself in little contradictions.
      `
Rachael’s endless cycle of impulsive decisions and unforeseen betrayals of her integrity is only partially derived from her background. She was breaking her own rules, and not knowing why ; she had got into a habit of thinking in which personal integrity is seemingly impossible & meaningless, and she could not escape punishment for the naive trustfulness that was part her innocence.
      `
I think this cycle of desperate shaming is what she escaped by getting herself murdered. (i thought about ending it if i am ever incarcerated and deprived of my daily medicines ; i decided upon getting murdered by annoying a not-to-be-released inmate … as the easiest and most reliable euthenasia. Such is the lethal potency of untreated pain and malaise, a misfortune which the criminal Prohibition of Opium deliberately extorts the unprotected minority with undiagnosed pain … into paying blackMarket profit margins for painManagement.)
      `
In a society which is not as punishmentOriented as those shaped jesusBeggars, Rachael would have been a butterfly, loved by all. But here, where suspicion and low expectations prevail, she was despised for her adventurous blunders. These events would be a source of hilarity in a generous culture, where she would be loved by all as a beautiful clown.
      `
Here, everyone uses every pretext to think themselves superior, so Rachael is in the situation of a lifetime of being despised. Being an empath, she was fully cognisent of the contempt behind the masks of social ritual.
      `
The punishment i get for enhancing my intelligence is to be resentfully deemed a lunatic who is not worth understanding. This ubiquitous antiSocial aberration is a direct result of the imposition of “Christian” conformism by puritan zealots of the worst kind, lobbying politicians with threats and leverage.
      `
For Rachael, you were the only one to see her for who she is, and your generosity towards her indulgences was unique … but you were only one voter in thousands ; she lived in a soup of unspoken contempt, surrounding her, and aggravating the keenly-felt shame from her occasional typically-harmless bloopers.
      `
Provided Rachael got the death that she decided upon (ie a death which nobody could stop) and survived death’s impact intact, chances are she is where she can be comfortable with herself … while she figures out why she did all those dumb self-obsessed contradictions of the enchanting purity you fell so much in love with.
      `
She truly meant what she said about loving you, that’s why you were enchanted.
As the poet says : Better to have loved and lost, than never experiencing those exquisite romantic delights.
      `
Those shaming blunders were strategically chosen, not by your beloved, but by a parasite described by a toltec scientist of awareness in a book by an infamous field anthropologist. Blunders Rachael was steered into, for maximisising her embarrassment (upon which emotional intensity the parasite feeds.)
      `
The description in the Active Side Of Infinity (in the Mud Shadows chapter) is the original disclosure of this forbiddenKnowledge, a description which has not been improved by being dismembered and interpreted by amateurish philosophers on the internet. Read the book.

Castaneda used a method he called “reportage” to portray an apprenticeship he did not understand, presenting the teaching events in the context they were conveyed, so as to preserve as much information as possible.
This rigorous methodology must have been uncomfortable for someone as volatile as nagual Carlos, but he put his silliness on the page with all the rest of the portrait.
      `
I interpret Carlos’ apparent foolishness as Mescalito choosing a nagual who could evoke and portray a vivid and detailed account (rather than one of detached academic scholarship), to assist the reader’s imagination in empathising with the drama and meaning of the series of transformative revelations which Carlos endured … events which he later published as works of anthropology (as distinct from fiction/phantasy, which is a typically disingenuous allegation by the characterAssassins who enforce forbiddenKnowledge.)

      1. Just noticed your second post Peter. I will answer tomorrow.

        Take care

  18. Once again, Ms Johnstone uses her magnificent writing to inspire the souls within humanity. May the Heavens always Bless You, Ms Johnstone! Thank You!

  19. Caitlin, I appreciate your commentaries on world affairs, corrupt politicians and the crimes they commit in the name of ordinary Americans who are blinded and dumbed-down by their government. But may I suggest that it is not helpful to use unqualified expressions like “trust your own inner sense-maker” as guidance or advice for your readers. Many of us want to guide other people along the proverbial “the path of enlightenment” but scientific research confirms what most ancient sages have stated, namely, that our own inner sense-maker is biased, untrustworthy and often misleads us. My experience has been that “the path of enlightenment” is found through years of collaborating with other people who are travelling along this path. We should collaborate in observation, in research and reflection, in personal efforts at becoming utterly honest, fair, generous, peace-loving, tolerant and self-disciplined. Then our sense-maker will become tuned into the Truth, the Life and the Way.

    1. BS bro’. Your scientific research, whatever it is, wherever you lifted it from, will get us all annihilated. My ‘inner sense’ tells me this.

    2. That Christian stuff is why we are in the mess we are in. St. Paul claimed “the human heart is desperately wicked,” which is a malicious and self-destructive denial of humanity that can only come from a deeply disturbed mind. One who, say, has conversations with a dead guy and is scared silly of women and sex. And is so arrogant that he may fancy himself capable of “guiding others along” the One True Way when he is so utterly lost himself.

    3. But may I suggest that it is not helpful to use unqualified expressions like “trust your own inner sense-maker” … scientific research confirms what most ancient sages have stated, namely, that our own inner sense-maker is biased, untrustworthy and often misleads us.

When telling Caitlin she is incompetent in her choice of terminology, it is the trademark of an arsehole not to cite the science Tired&Perverse claims as justifying the insult.
      `
I seriously doubt that with such an attitude, Tired&Anonymous has the slightest ability to collaborate on anything more difficult than eating icecream.
      `
Telling us what we should do to tune in is what phoney gurus do.

  20. “Everyone with an ear to the ground has a suspicion that the elite manipulators are up to something big, …”

Yes. You have to ask what all those underground cities are for. So what ‘s coming ? A plague that makes Covid -19 look like chicken pox ? A faux alien invasion ? Thermo-nuclear war ?
It doesn’t take much ‘homework’ to discover the efficacy of any of these, and other, options.
In the warm-up phase they keep doubling down, keep trialing new atrocities, as they test us.
Us. We only have ‘us’. By the millions ! We’re slow to get going. But when we do, we’re unstoppable.
It just needs a tipping point. If the ‘something big’ is close. So is the tipping point.

    1. More fear must be applied to get everyone on board for a worldwide vaccine. Thus Covid Part Deux is about to be upon us as soon as it turns cold. Thank goodness for global warming or it would be do much worse.

      1. Trust Khatika to vote for more fear when the shit is hitting the fan.

  21. Thanks, Sister.
    https://www.johndayblog.com/2020/09/irrational-actors.html
Using the rational-actor political model, the camps of pawns are pushed to be more afraid of viral-pandemic, or loss-of-autonomy, through global-imperialism.
Each rational actor discounts the position of the other, due to splitting-of-alternatives, to the point of seeing the other as irrational, incomprehensible, or “bad”.

Elite players do not need to believe what they propound.
They are fighting battles in a power-struggle. They use the weapons at hand.
For some, it may be easier to believe what they say, but many lie without any discomfort or cognitive dissonance at all.
(When Karl Rove infamously bragged about “creating reality”, he flashed that hand.)

There are different paths to the talent of pathological-lying, though some are apparently born with it.
Some operators, managers and factota for the elites are not “live-players”, but merely taking orders.
They will usually “believe” what makes their jobs easiest.
The live-players who operate them know that and try to make their work easier for them with comforting lies.
It can be hard to tell live players from factota in the short term. Some US presidents have been factota.
(I think one Bush was a live player, an the other was a factotum, for instance.)

I hope this is useful. It may or may not be useful.
All players are “rational” in this model. There are myriad “understandings” , which are all incomplete models. Some models serve the user, and other models serve the upper-level “live-players” to manipulate the model-user.
The longer any model is in operation, the more information will be available to assess it’s utility to any class of users.

  22. “Unequivocal 9/11 Nuukes” > principia-australia(.)org > Baby Bush in Afghanistan & Iraq
CIA Operation Zero Footprint > Obombie & Reptillary overthrows in Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt and Libya > CIA Operation Timber Sycamore transferred Libyan weapons to IS8S in Syria
Every US president since JFK has been a war criminal
