The most powerful government on earth has still yet to have a single presidential election that doesn’t feature a prominent candidate who supported one of the most evil things that government has ever done.

The United States has done many, many profoundly evil things throughout its history, but the 2003 invasion of Iraq is surely in the top ten. It killed over a million human beings, destabilized an entire region, led to the rise of ISIS and Al Nusra and facilitated a rush of new Middle Eastern interventionism, all to no benefit for the American people whatsoever, and it is utterly unforgivable.

Yet there have been no consequences for it. No real changes of any kind were made to American military, governmental, political or media institutions to ensure that a similar atrocity never happens again, because the drivers of US foreign policy had every intention of doing it again. There weren’t even any real political consequences for it, as evidenced by the fact that politicians who supported it have been ascending to Democratic and Republican presidential nominee status ever since.

This is insane. The fact that every electoral contest for commander in chief of the most powerful military in the history of civilization has featured at least one candidate who supported one of the most evil things ever done in the blood-soaked history of their nation is too insane to really put into words. And it says so much about the state of the US political system today.

The current Democratic presidential nominee is a particularly egregious example of this fact, having not just supported the Iraq invasion but played a leading role in pushing it through. Current Affairs explains:

In 2003, Biden was “a senator bullish about the push to war [in Iraq] who helped sell the Bush administration’s pitch to the American public,” who “voted for—and helped advance—the Bush agenda.” He was the war’s “most crucial” senate supporter. Biden repeated the myth that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, saying that “these weapons must be dislodged from Saddam Hussein, or Saddam Hussein must be dislodged from power.” The resulting war was one of the most deadly catastrophes in the history of U.S. foreign policy—the Iraqi death toll was in the hundreds of thousands or possibly even the millions, and 4,500 American troops died. And that’s just the dead: countless more were left permanently maimed, to suffer with PTSD for the rest of their lives. For every dead person, there is a family who will struggle forever to get over their loss. This is no trivial issue: In selecting a commander in chief, you want someone who doesn’t launch catastrophic wars of aggression.

Before Biden it was Hillary Clinton, who as a US senator not only voted in support of the Iraq war but emphatically promoted it on the Senate floor and then more than a year after the invasion said she had no regrets about doing so.

“No, I don’t regret giving the president authority because at the time it was in the context of weapons of mass destruction, grave threats to the United States, and clearly, Saddam Hussein had been a real problem for the international community for more than a decade,” Clinton told Larry King in April 2004.

Unlike Clinton and Biden, their opponent Donald Trump was in no position to actively facilitate the Iraq invasion since he wasn’t in politics at the time, but in 2002 he was asked point-blank by Howard Stern “Are you for invading Iraq?” and he answered in the affirmative. If Trump was unable to see Iraq clearly from the political sidelines at the time, there’s no reason to believe he’d have done any better than Biden and Clinton had he been a sitting US senator in 2002 with the immense pressures to conform that were being implemented by the Bush administration.

Before them it was Republican nominee Mitt Romney in 2012, who had previously said in a 2008 Republican primary debate that “It was the right decision to go into Iraq. I supported it at the time; I support it now.”

This was long after all the facts were in and it had obvious for years from even an amoral cost-to-benefit analysis that the Iraq invasion was a disaster based on lies that caused mountains more problems than it solved.

Before that it was John McCain in 2008, who during his miserable psychopathic excuse for a life supported invading not just Iraq but damn near everyone else as well.

And in 2004 it was John Kerry running against the butcher himself George W Bush, who had just voted in support of Bush’s war in 2002.

The more you think about it, the more outrageous it becomes. The most powerful elected official in the most powerful government on earth with the most powerful military force the world has ever seen should not be prone to making horrifically evil decisions, and it’s insane that this even needs to be said.

The way principled leftists and anti-imperialists are shamed as privileged and petty whenever they point out the record of a candidate on this crucial matter is disgusting. This is not some kind of pedantic quibble, it’s the bare minimum requirement for such an immensely powerful position. The argument that the Iraq invasion was supported by most prominent politicians at the time is not a defense of those politicians, it’s an indictment of mainstream American politics.

Nobody who supported the Iraq invasion should be working in politics at all. They shouldn’t be able to find employment anywhere more prominent or influential than a cash register. It’s entirely legitimate for any voter to reject anyone who supported the unforgivable invasion of Iraq, and indeed to reject the entire political system that gave rise to them.

  1. Caitlin,

You make me feel guilty as charged! ….. and justifiably so.

You keep my “soul” in check.

    Kind regards

    Mike

  2. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Idealists who enter politics soon realize the ugly reality that a viable political career means courting donors to fund a campaign because if they can’t get elected, you’re out of a job. That is until Bernie Sanders proved a campaign that doesn’t accept corporate donations is a reality. So the, wholly owned and corporate funded DNC ran a campaign against Bernie, not Trump.

  3. It is my impression that now that the owners believe they have succeeded in taking out Trump, they can allow world economy to resume normal function – without being too obvious.

Cait, though I know that it puts you in awkward position with lefty friends, it is wrong to over look that with all his mainy flaws, Trump has striven to and has made some headway againt the US military dogs. He is in some respects a populist and that is the worst of all characteristics.

“Long after the harsh words of my enemies, I will remember the silence of my friends.”

  6. Cait, I greatly appreciate your writing. I am in awe of your skill and will to be a positive influence.
US politics is a sham, is certainly not democratic nor even represetative – more like the opposite of representarive.
However I am surprised you dont also make reference to the parralel situations in other western nations (Auz for example) as the context adds to understanding.

Also your words are too good to let flow of the page – they need something more enduring for future reference.

    Well anyway, Thanks.

  8. Love this and nearly all of your pieces I have read. However, i believe you made a slight error in this one. The person who gets the office of POTUS will be standing at the largest cash register of all time, and that is what they will be elected to do. None are qualified to hold that position either. We don’t just need to change the job description though. We need to change the concept of JOB itself. And first of all, it is an inside practice. And practice might not be the right word either.
    Thanks for your service!

  9. hey Cait! wait! Of course saddam had biowarfare weapons! you know. we gave them to him. it was unnerve U. gas just like the one in the vial that colin poweel held up [“not my proudest ass moment” he uttered later.]
Rummie tookit over and gave the vial similaar not same—and did Powell’s vial he showed the world really have unnerve me and U. gas in it? so is it OK to wave avial of nerve gas all around the UN reps like that? if yo can wave nervous gas in the UN what about some strip club or a massage parlor for the hot tubs and the randy noles and the glory holes i bet General are generally enthusiastic about those…so did Colin keep the vial and where is it now. in Aspen my dog shouts up at me. thecaat says Davos. he aims to stop them .
we know this because every one knows Sad Huss was supoosed to use it on the Iranian Army which we hate more than their god. but he used it on the Kurds whom we love more than the GreenMountain Boyz…u in Berniehood., just southof canada. wonder if they have any unnerveU gas. or just anthrax. 19 yers of afghanistan war meansyou could bet we used it in their loya jirga room in an attempt to bring democracy to those benighted angels of gods we’ll never get to know..
but oh, it’sOK now. colin powell just came out for kamala and lady clinton, i guess. tom perez still insists he goes right ahead and smokes the stuff. sowaive all this and let’s get a brand new AMerdRica ASOP to the rich.

    1. Some ignorant fools cannot discern the difference between well-researched and vetted scientific facts and gullible naive regurgitation of fanciful nonsense. For those people- I got the information regarding the chemical weapons and Iraq from “CENSORED 2004” which got it from THE HUMANIST AND ARTVOICE – March/April 2003, covered by DEMOCRACY NOW!
Information regarding covid was from an interview of Dr Buttar with VAlutainment (Patrick Bet David)which has been removed from the internet but similar information can be found in many places. Other good sources include Dr Andrew Kaufman, Dr Gary Null, and others. But just ridicule one of the few reliable and truthful and courageous truthers, who although being incarcerated repeatedly for doing so, brings you important information.

    Dear Caitlin,

Keep up your good work. The rot goes deep, very deep. I wanted to ask you, have you ever heard of Church Rock Uranium Spill? It explains a lot. It is way worse than Three Mile Island, occured in 1979, and few know about it. Which is sad.

  11. US presidents are showmen. Caitlin, I don’t babble. I am a well-informed researcher and historical/political analysts. I respect and admire religious Jews and deeply sympathize with their ancestors who were forced into slave labor by NAZI psychopaths. I also despise allied leaders who did not tell the world how they cruelly blockaded NAZI Germany from receiving food, fuel and medical supplies from 1943 till Germany surrendered, causing millions of labor camp inmates to die of starvation, disease and euthanasia. I recommend civilized discussion and debate about relevant and important people, agencies, secret agendas and contrived events which precipitated other political events and shaped history. If we do not dig deep into obscure and carefully censored documents and photographs, revisionist history, research papers by independent qualified scientists and study the original versions of authentic WW2 documents, read between the lines as well as read the lines themselves we will never know what really happened, what still happens in high places and where the world is heading today. I trust you do want to know this.

    1. Just how much history is even accurate. It is written by the victors. Every single incident researched years later always finds a different story. Why the fascination with this aspect of history. Lets say you prove beyond a doubt that the holicaust was true but overblown. You and others would use it to bash present day Israel. It is all a veileed attempt to attack Jews. Just like they have been persecuted through history even by the Catholic Church which worships the Son of God who was a Jew. Ironic. I am tired of persecuting a people no mattercwho they may be. Enough. Drop your false rhetoric of veiled hate.

      1. If you use the Keys of Knowledge you will be able to expose deception, propaganda, errors and censoring.

      2. THe powers that be have planned a 500 million world population by 2025 in a world fascist police state. 9-11 devised to create homeland security to provide surveillance. Look up Georgia stones. covid created by dr Shi Zhwengli in north carolina university chapel on a hill laboratory with US and Chinese government funding, under Gates supervision. Gates holds a patent on covid and on cures. Test kits were ordered by the millions for covid in 2018. The vaccines are planned to kill billions- Gates-funded vaccines killed 47,500 INdian children, he has said on Ted talks that he plans to reduce world population by 15% using vaccines. VAccines are supposed to save lives. I have more knowlledge and put the puzzle pieces together.

        1. Hidden agendas of the powers that BE will one day be exposed but only after they achieve their goal for a short period and then become history.

      3. History is always accurate. It is the (mis)representation or (mis)reporting of history that is inaccurate.

The confusion is rooted in not making the distinctions between the actual and the reported. This is true of science, medicine or diseases.

In a system that historically punishes truth tellers, and rewards liars, discernment is required to avoid the agenda of con artists who benefit from the misbehavior that induces miseries in the form of murder, mayhem and mischief,

    2. My book ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH shows that the Vatican was behind Hitler, that Himmler was a Jesuit, and got much information regarding this from THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE JESUITS by Edmund Paris, as well as some from GODS BANKERS. The book also puts aside and debunks the popular concept of Jews ruling in evil over the world. IT is in fact the Vatican, freemasons, and extremely rich, mostly Rothschild, originally called Bauer, who was JEwish, but also Rockefeller, queen of england, and the likes.

      1. Yes hidden agendas and ancestries of the powers that BE and powers that were! All will one day be exposed.

    3. You declared below that things that WERE will be disclosed. The Vatican still rules, and the current Jesuit general, named Sosa Abascal, is the most powerful person in the world. He runs all banking, freemasonry, and secret intelligence of every nation. The policies that rule the world are decided by the Vatican and globalists, and US policies are decided on by the Council of Foreign Relations, a group of 300 top heads of energy, universities, media, government, etc..Rockefeller founded it, and appoints all members. They make legislation which is rubber stamped by politicians, called rightly “the entertainment division of the government. Approximately 80% of the presidential administration is a member thereof. Hillary has been for decades. Rothschild owns the federal bank of every nation and prints all currencies at cost of paper and ink, and sells it at face value. Every bit of work done by the planet profits them entirely. queen of england’s family owns over 1/5 th real estate on the planet, and gets $360 million a day in interest, never mind rent. YOu get the picture. I have researched all and this is all scientific fact.

    4. The religious Jews know full well the nature of their god. However, I do give some credit for declaring that the nation state of Israel is anti-biblical and that it should not be there. They are freaks who dress weird and pray bowing like hens, and are ritualistic and pretend holiness, but are mostly harmless. THE reputation of power is a diversion created by the Vatican to hide the truth.

    5. I dislike people who don’t state their intentions clearly. If you’re saying you want me to let you use my personal blog as a Holocaust denial discussion forum, the answer is no. I will also not let my personal blog be used as a discussion forum on the subject of how I should let my blog be used as a Holocaust denial discussion forum. End of discussion.

      1. Caitlin, are you talking to me? I wrote in ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH that the Nazis were powered and supported by the vatican. I also illustrate many evils of the Vatican and others. There is not, never has been denial of the holocaust in my mind or words. I also prove that all the evil attributed to Jews as rulers of a cabal have been formulated by the Vatican to cover up what they do. Please do not misunderstand me.

        1. Understanding a raving lunatic is a pain in the arse and a waste of time,
          Fuck Off Michael Lewis Khan

      2. Now I want to relate some highly revelatory information regarding the nature of the Roman Catholic Church. The source of most of this is, again, THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE JESUITS. It states that “Mein Kampf” was composed by Jesuit Father Staempfle; and signed by Hitler. Furthermore, it claims that Jesuits perfected the Pan-German Programme as laid out in Mein Kampf, with Fuhrers endorsement. In addition, the Nazis seized power in Italy due to the aid of Jesuit Don Sturzo, chief of the Catholic party. Himmler was a Jesuit, and Walter Schellenberg, chief of German counter-espionage, wrote this- “The SS organization has been constituted by Himmler according to the principles of the Jesuit order. Their regulations and the spiritual exercises prescribed by Ignatius of Loyola were the model Himmler tried to copy exactly….the Reich Fuhrer SS- Himmler’s title as supreme chief of the SS was to the equivalent of the Jesuit’s general and the whole structure of the direction was a close imitation of the Catholic Church’s hierarchal order….”
The following are Hitler’s words on the Jesuits and the RC church: “I learned much from the order of the Jesuits…until now, there has never been anything more grandiose on the earth than the hierarchal organization of the Catholic Church. I transformed much of the organization into my own party…I am going to let you in on a secret….I am forming an order….we will raise up a youth which will make the earth tremble…”
One function of the Jesuits is to supervise all of the Catholic press. One reason for the German citizen’s obedience to, and support of, Hitler was the backing of the Catholic Church. In Austria, as well, Vienna’s archbishop, Cardinal Innytzer, a Jesuit, wrote this declaration at the time that Austria united with the Reich (March 1938): “ The priests and the faithful must unhesitatingly uphold the great German state, and the Fuhrer whose struggle to set up Germany’s power, honour, and prosperity is in accord with the wishes of providence.” Reproductions of this were posted all over Austrian cities with Innytzer’s signature after the words “und heil Hitler.” The Austrian episcopate extolled the virtues of the Nazi regime a few days later. The Christian youth were trained according to Nazi methods in Austria as a result.
On March 15th, 1939, Hitler placed Slovakia under his “protection,” placing in charge Monsigneur Tiso, who “dreamed of combining Catholicism and Nazism…have much in common, they work hand in hand at reforming the world” In June 1940 Radio Vatican announced the Holy See’s full approval of Tiso’s “Christian” plan.
On July 22nd, 1941, the practicing Catholic minister of worship for Croatia defined his work-“we will kill some Serbians, deport others, and the rest will be compelled to embrace the Catholic religion.” All told, 300,000 Jews and Serbians were deported, and more than 500,000 were slaughtered. 240,000 Orthodox Christians converted. The same worship minister, Mile Budak, had said in August 1941: “The Oustachi movement is based on religion, and our work rests on our loyalty to religion and the Catholic Church.” That work was summed up by English journalist J A Voigt, who wrote: “Croatian politics consists of massacres, deportations, or conversions accompanied by the most bestial tortures. The Oustachis put out the victims eyes and made garlands of them, which they wore.”
Hitler brought the support of the papacy to his new-born nationalism-socialism, and had a talent for publicity. In 1942, Pope Pius XII confirmed his tacit support to German expansion.
A Jesuit by the name Leon Degrelle initiated the publishing house “Christus Rex” at the Catholic Action Centre. On December 12th, 1944, the port of Anvers was attacked for the first night of six months of hellish bombardment. On radio Berlin, Degrelle screeched “I asked my Fuhrer for twenty thousand flying bombs. They will chastise an idiotic people. I promise you that they will make of Anvers a city without a port, or a port without a city.” He continued his ranting day after day promising worse cataclysms.
In America, Jesuit Father Coughlin, a notorious supporter of Hitler, directed the “Christian Front” a Catholic movement opposed to US intervention. It is no wonder that the United States took no action on behalf of the allies until after the attack on Pearl Harbor. In my opinion (Michael Kahn’s- the author of this book), World War II was the only military action that the United States had any justification to involve itself, and we entered far too late. In secret German archives, it was recorded: “studying the evolution of anti-semitism in the United States, we note that the number of listeners to the radio broadcasts of Father Coughlin, well known for anti-semitism, exceeded twenty millions.”
American sources claim that he had thirty million listeners.

a small portion regarding how ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH proves the Vatican supported Nazis

  13. Just exactly WHY to do warmongers get elected election after election after election, and actual war criminals get promoted to higher and higher office? I’ll answer by using the patriotic voters of Maine and Virginia as representative examples of the rest of the country.

But first and foremost, the fact of the matter is that the US has a war-based economy. Don’t take my word for it. George Kennan was a very influential US VIP for many years. He said the following just a few short years before the end of the Soviet Union.

“Were the Soviet Union to sink tomorrow under the waters of the ocean, the American military-industrial establishment would have to go on, substantially unchanged, until some other adversary could be invented. Anything else would be an unacceptable shock to the American economy.”

What Kennan said was not hyperbole. He meant exactly what he said, and what he said is even more true today than it was in Kennan’s time. In the years that have transpired since the USSR’s dissolution, Kennan’s prediction has been proven to be amazingly accurate. The US has created, and must continue to create, enemies in order to justify the US govt.’s borrowing of hundreds of billions of dollars for war corporations year after year after year, FOREVER!

Do you truly understand that ramifications of this “system”? The US economy will LITERALLY collapse without that annual DoD injection. Tens of millions of direct and indirect jobs will cease to exist without that annual DoD injection (AKA “stimulus package”). It would be an economic disaster. On a personal note, I was born in 1950 and was raised in a small town in the state of Maine, USA, about 15 miles as the crow flies from Bath Iron Works (BIW) — a place that for many, many decades has manufactured, and to this day continues to manufacture, warships (which the locals who work there worship). Like the tens of millions of people living in The Greatest Nation On Planet Earth who are directly or indirectly employed by the MIC, the 6 thousand or so human beings employed at BIW will do absolutely anything to keep their jobs, and that “anything” means voting for proven warmongers when they enter the voting booth in November. They always have. They always will.

To elaborate further, the US “system” would undergo very serious financial, social and political upheaval if its wars of hegemony and its MIC were to suddenly be halted without an alternative economic system being fully “designed” prior to them stopping. Here’s another example of the political/financial/economic/social impact of the MIC in just one of the 50 United in Perpetual Warfare States of America — Virginia:

Population of Virginia = 8.4 million

Number of Registered Voters in Virginia = 5.7 million

Dollar Amount of Defense Contracts Awarded to Contractors in Virginia in 2019 alone = $50.5 billion

Dollar Amount of Defense Contracts Awarded to Contractors in Virginia from 2000 to 2019 = $781.6 billion

Number of Defense Contracts Awarded to Contractors in Virginia from 2000 to 2019 = 1,291,034

Number of Defense Contractors in Virginia = 17,877

(To confirm my above statistics, Google “governmentcontractswon”, go to that site, select “contractors by state”on the right side of the page and select Virginia on the drop-down list.)

So, what is the likelihood that the vast majority of voters in Virginia are going to vote for a peacenik for POTUS in November?

    0%

What is the likelihood that the vast majority of voters in Virginia are going to vote for a warmonger for POTUS in November?

    100%

Is the reason that voters in Virginia and Maine select warmongers for POTUS election after election after election that they are brainwashed, or don’t love themselves enough, or haven’t stared at the moon or their navels long enough? Or is it because, in Virginia’s case, they vitally depend upon that yearly DoD injection of well over $50 billion dollars, literally forever?

    It’s the $50 billion!

The awful truth is that Virginians and Mainers know exactly what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. As far as they’re concerned, Mr. Potato-Head or the Tangerine Jackass are both perfectly qualified to hold the title of POTUS because BOTH will increase the war budget from here to eternity. They don’t give a shit how many people are killed by the weapons they help produce.

The shocking truth is that the voters in Virginia are not going to vote for a peacenik during the next thousand years!

Virginia is a microcosm of the USA. Americans say they want peace, but what they really want is perpetual war which justifies the annual DoD money-injection (which, in turn, requires the Fed to print literally “whatever it takes” amount of USD out of thin air which will pay for those injections from now to eternity) …………… until the bombs drop on Main Street, USA, anyway. Then there will be a very serious, nearly-instantaneous, nation-wide “attitude adjustment”…… in the heads of those still “living”, of course.

    1. THE US spends over a trillion dollars a year on military and homeland security. Just say that we stopped war, and the spending. Say that we outlawed combines being used on farms to plant and harvest, and insisted that they hire workers. Research has found that to be just as profitable. All the money saved in taxes from paying for that weaponry could be reinvested to hire people to plant trees and other BENEFICIAL TO SOCIETY activities, rather than on death and destruction. HEalthy organic food. Vitamins and herbal cures instead of pharmaceuticals (which addict and which manage instead of curing illnesses), say that we overhauled the system. screw the warmongers. send them to farm and let them contribute to life instead of death. This is not rocket science, it is outside the box thinking.

    2. Perfect time to present a truly outrageous anecdote, my favorite anecdote about my oldest friend’s father, a graduate of the US Naval Academy. At one point while my friend was in his early 20’s, he said to his father,” Dad, you’re so successful in business, why don’t you take mom on a European vacation?” to which his father replied,” Virginia is a GREAT state. There is no reason to leave it.”

  16. You gotta love Caitlin. Sitting amidst all the comforting things, gadgets, books, entertainment, furniture, indoor plumbing and electricity which supports her quality of life she cavalierly calls for the end of the whole system and free market which gave it all to her. It never occurs to her there would be injustices and possibly atrocities in the hallucinatory Utopia which exists in her daydreaming mind? Please, someone explain to her how to condemn the injustice of this war without tearing the whole House down on her head.

    1. I have lived in a cabin with no electricity or running water, waking up at dawn and chopping wood to heat the cabin and cook some eggs. Have had a garden. Have cleaned myself with no shower or bathtub. Have been in solitary confinment in a cell with no radio or books. So, perhaps I am qualified to promote the simple life. I have lived it, have washed my clothes in a basin (not a washing machine), so perhaps I am qualified. Time spent on tasks and manual labor doing the from-scratch by hand jobs is rewarding to see what the labor of your work has accomplished, as pride and confidence in one’s accomplishments trumps entertainment and convenience. And an exhausted man going to his bed sleeps well and with no remorse.

      1. I admire for your self-sufficiency.

          1. Ridiculous? Dont you just love people telling you to buy all kinds of useless and subversive values? Most people cannot think, having gone to college to fed and expected to regurgitate useless untrue information, watch tv where they are subverted mindsets and worldviews, and given wrong values.from ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH
Today’s civilization has evolved to the peak of “superior” society. We have enough weaponry to annihilate the entire planet’s population a hundred times over. We have submarines, planes, trains, electrical cars, automatic driverless trucks, no need to use our legs except to kick the dog. We can spend hours a day watching videos and programs on television that are not only useless, but that impose harmful desires, mindsets, worldviews, and values on us- through deliberate propaganda, and most people take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to do so. Eating has become a simple habit. Fast-food restaurants, pizza delivery, frozen dinners, and prepared packaged food has made it a convenience. Mass production makes professional craftsmanship unnecessary and superfluous, so we have nobody taking effort to make something that they can be proud of. Scanners and automatic cash registers minimize effort in retail. Riding lawnmowers make landscaping easy. Diet pills, blood pressure pills, sleeping pills, Ritalin, insulin, antidepressants, and tranquilizers make proper nutrition and exercises unnecessary. Communication can be, and is done, by texting emojis, making real communication antiquated. In other words, the miracles of science have developed “ideal” civilization. Life is easy. That is what success in Roman civilization is all about. Work is for inferior slaves. The pinnacle of life and perfection is vegetating in luxurious comfort and entertainment. No exertion, no challenges, no accomplishments, no activities, nothing but relaxation for as long as you live. Doesn’t that appeal to your intellect (do you take the effort to think?). That is the superior Roman civilization that has been advancing and destroying everything in its path. And having been indoctrinated by the media into conforming to the modern lifestyle as promoted by the media, it is “bought” (pun intended) by the populace. The people have purchased their own destruction. And it is the poor who the rich class call “lazy” for living on minimal allowance of welfare as the alternative to slaving in factories and warehouses for minimum wage to make the wealthy man richer.
Mankind, with all his self-proclaimed intelligence, is the only species that develops means to annihilate billions of his own kind, who puts many of his fellows in cages of torture for years, who collects worthless (but values them greatly) trinkets, and steals from one another and kills for them (gemstones), who breeds other species and keeps them in warehouses to butcher them because he finds flesh to be tasty (although mankind is not naturally carnivorous), who kill one another over real estate. Must I go on? Is mankind, or to switch back (because these behaviors are not natural to other races), the white man, superior, because he is the dominant animal on the planet? Should he rule the planet? Is that a natural order of existence, and a justification for what he does?

    2. You seem to be saying that war and imperialism are necessary for indoor plumbing and so forth. The ancient Romans had indoor plumbing (for the very rich), and they of course were also purveyors of war and imperialism on the grand scale. The British were supposedly the inventors of modern indoor plumbing, and we know about them. But what’s your case? I don’t quite see the connection between toilets and world war. And what about outhouses?

        1. Then just what ARE you saying, Hand? You seem to lack the ability to think clearly and with that hand, to write coherent thoughts.

      1. I think Stephen was referring to me and my book ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH, seeing that I was commenting here. In the conclusion of the book is a blueprint for a “utopian” civilization. The comment must have been there for me to answer, as Caitlin made no reference to utopia. The book has impacted greatly all who read it, as it was not only the product of much research, but also had some free thinking solutions and introduced new paradigms and has do-able solutions to every world problem. I suggest you read it if you have not yet. on amazon for $3 or give me your email and i will attach it in a return message.

        1. Michael I admire you for living frugally which limits your use of energy and contribution to pollution and depletion of the earth’s natural resources.

          1. I still use electricity, have a vehicle, etc… I have endorsed a new civilization after proving the evil and wrong in this one. My pollution blueprint is currently not much better than most, I have lived more basically in the past. I do not travel much because i dont have to. My words in that book prove how the planet could not only be saved, but also have a meaningful and painless life for all future generations by following its decrees carefully. You are obviously a right-wing troll. The “free market” does not GIVE anything to anybody. The “free market” is a cash register. Capitalism is cancer and is devouring everything on earth: people, countries, entire societies, the biosphere. Being against capitalism is a sign of sanity, not daydreaming. People like you, however, who live the daydream of the wonderfulness of the “free market” are the insane ones. Your so-called argument is an insult to human consciousness.

      1. It seems to be evil capitalism or evil socialism. Wonder which system people will choose when the electricity only comes on a couple hours a day and the internet and cell phones along with it.

        1. Thatscwhats going on in wonderful california right now. 200k ppl have left the state this year.

    4. Stephen Hand : You start with a fake compliment … which makes you a liar.
Why are you so feebleMinded that you ask others to explain your bizarre contempt towards Caithlin ?

      1. Perhaps it is expressed that way as others are explaining my (and Caitlins) contempt for freemarket capitalism. Contempt is a two-way street.

        1. Contempt is 2 way because to be understood, one must use the language chosen by the detractor.
Blaming me for your contempt is fucking insane.

    5. ALL wealth comes from the planet and the planet has received nothing good in return !

      1. I piss next to trees.

  17. People keep defending Trump as the only choice for stopping imperialism. Of course, almost all of us know that if he did stumble upon that position, it was more like a chicken with his head cut off and not because of any deep benevolent reflective thought. He offends most of us as representing the worst of humanity…and I’m sure that most of us are not wrong.

Here’s a well done video about protecting public lands. It shows him immediately undermining precedent and the Antiquities Act when he got in office. He says he didn’t even know about ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge…just like he doesn’t understand foreign policy), but when he heard that no other President has been able to override popular public opinion (75%) and open that area for exploitation, he took it as a challenge and made it happen. He will do the same with imperialism. He’s not the imperfect vessel people keep propping their hopes on. He’s the poop stain he’s always been.

    1. Hoe dare you say that. They will be erecting statues to Trump one day. In Russia. LOL.

    2. Trump is by a chorus of alike minded folks a total wacky mean moron fit only to be scorned and ridiculed, and yet he has destroyed all political opposition. What does that make said opposition? They would have better served themselves to order their minions to claim Trump an evil genius, so at least they didn’t have to lose so miserably to the previously mentioned WMM, which kinda makes them the true morons, historically, and evil ones at that.

  18. Thank you, Caitlin. From the biggest part of my heart, I needed this write up this morning. You save my sanity. I am voting my concience. Thank you for persevering, for deep decency. For holding and reinstating the values we hold most dear.

I agree. I always vote my conscience and my conscience does not permit me to support either capitalist party. I support and vote for the Socialist Equality Party and have done form more than 20 years. People need to get off the hamster wheel and escape the cage.

  19. As an American, let me say that every word you wrote here is true, Caitlin. A lot of us know it, too. The problem is that most Democrats and Republicans offer little to improve our material living conditions, which is why at least 40% of us don’t even bother to vote.

Bernie Sanders, who actually was opposed to the Iraq War, was on his way to winning the Democratic nomination when the oligarchy engaged in probable election fraud–I say that because the March primary results were 11 points off the exit polls and recent polls, IN EVERY STATE, whereas the UN standard for probable cause of election fraud is a 4 point deviation–and armtwisting by Barack Obama and a mainstream media blitz that only Biden could beat Trump, and here we are.

Trump’s going down because he is incompetent and completely botched the pandemic. Socialists like myself will not vote for either Trump or Biden, but senior citizens WILL and Trump’s lost them. It’s a shame because Joe Biden is indeed a warmonger, and may well get us involved in another imperial war, but Trump really does deserve to lose.

America’s interesting times will continue. Real revolution is a real possibility in the next few years as tens of millions face utter destitution and it is doubtful neoliberal Democrats will do anything to head that off, so stay tuned, and thanks for the empathy you show us.

    1. I hope you’re right about Trump going down, but he’s playing his personal “beating” of Covid like a violin, summoning his base to minimize the danger of the pandemic and promising miracle cures soon to be made freely available, along with an immanent vaccine. All of this this might play in Trump’s favor and be enough to squeeze him again into the Oval Office. I pray not, but the possibility is there in spades.

  21. “the Great Leader”

It is quite a leap from showing that Trump, while not in government, seems to have less strongly supported the war in Iraq than Biden to calling him a great leader. And if I was rich, or hoping to become rich, and had as much moral sense as a slime mold, I too might want to think Trump was a great leader. In the meantime, I think even squirrels, at least those who don’t rob nuts from other squirrels, know better.

  22. The duopoly exists to legitimize war. There are few apologies for the rush to invasion under the ludicrous weapons of mass destruction deception. Complaints from a country which can turn Iraq into a lake of molten glass is foolish. To admit you believed the nonsense is an actual admission that you were a willing fool. A fool who would approve war thinking that someone else could be responsible but not you who were just going along with the brutality.

You were responsible a pox on both your houses.

  23. Caitlin, your article evoked many angry comments. However, the American people could care less what their government does in foreign lands. True attitude change to war will not occur until bombs start falling on American soil. Of course by then it will be too late.

    1. What then was 9-11? A demolition job with every politician in DC complicit. And the citizens bought the idea that it was Arab terrorists. AFter all, would our politicians lie to us? There was no evidence of guilt, no evidence that any flag was responsible, but the youth enlisted and went to attack Afghanistan and to murder innocent people and to be radiated and die from depleted uranium. But we got the wonderful blessings of homeland security and the patriot act to protect us, we were in such fear of those who “hated our freedoms”- do you really think that if our nation bombed us that we would fight back? Not if they blamed the right people. WAKE UP!!! THE PEOPLE ARE DUM SHEEP!

      1. Carolyn L Zaremba Avatar
        Carolyn L Zaremba

Actually, I agree with you about 9/11.

        1. If and when the World Trade Center Atrocity is independently and professionally investigated perhaps somewhere in Europe (where gullible citizens, architects, and engineers are fewer than in the exceptional nation), we will finally know what those of us with open eyes knew all along: that this was largely an inside job involving controlled demo to set the stage for endless war (for oil and geopolitical advantage) in the Middle East. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to someday see a perp walk where the crowd, mocking the criminals, was chanting USA, USA.

          1. i have much proof that every politician in DC was complicit, here is half a page out of about ten pages proving that. from ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH
According to a French book “Bin Laden, La Verite Interdite” (Bin Laden, the Forbidden Truth), the United States had decided to invade Afghanistan in the interest of profits, long before September 2001. In February 1998, congress discussed ways to deal with Afghanistan to enable a US –held oil pipeline. Jane’s Defense Newsletter dated March 2001 revealed that an invasion of Afghanistan was being planned. July 2001 the planned invasion was reported by George Arney of the BBC. “Times of India” stated in June 2001 that the US government told India that there would be an invasion of Afghanistan in October of that year. But the US media insisted that the 9-11 terrorist attack instigated US invasion of Afghanistan and the Taliban regime. The twin towers had no flag bearing responsibility. The right legitimate thing to do would have been to prove who the culprits were, and to bring them to justice. The US blamed Afghanistan, and attacked innocent people, showed no evidence of anybody’s guilt, and endeavored to install a puppet government. Then they did likewise with Iraq. After much futile and senseless destruction, the death toll of Arabs fanned the flame of Islamic radicalism and anti-imperialism. Bush’s “war on terrorism” and the wars on Iraq and Afghanistan in particular were strategically successful in giving new life to Islamic radicalism and made violent resistance popular among Arabs, playing into the elite’s plan of genocide of Arab peoples. The US, after all, has to defend itself. Whether it was an afterthought that developed over the years, or had been planned previously, I am not sure, but the United States had further devious designs to use Afghanistan for more of its evil purposes. The leaders of Afghanistan; the Taliban, had banned its people from producing opium, and under their rule, Afghanistan produced 3% of the world’s opium. Upon the United States taking power in 2010, it soon leaped to producing 90% of the world’s opium. Perceiving the poverty of the Afghan farmers, being such magnanimous benefactors, the US government loaned those farmers the necessary capital and means to grow poppies. For a fee, US military guard the poppy fields, while the farmers labor to earn a meager income, and the smugglers reap wild profits (as do the dealers), importing most of the opium used by Americans and many other nations. Since 2010, Afghanistan has been steadily exporting 13 million pounds of opium annually.

      2. Bombing a couple buildings will not do it. Leveling a city or two with cruise missles killing a few hundred thousand people will get people motivated to step back. Of course there will also be a fair number of people ready to sign up and kill the enemy that we most likely attacked first

  24. War is the health of the state. Any time a state starts to lose credibility, it conjures up an enemy state that’s responsible. The people reliably fall for such most of the time. It appeals to our inherited knowledge from times when “not like us” was a reasonable thing to fear/hate. Like the Mongol horde coming over the hill. The only time I can recall they didn’t was when Obama wanted to go all in against Syria, and public opinion said “WTF are you talking about?” and he backed down.

  25. What is sad is the utter powerlessness we have to address this. The system is designed very cleverly to give the appearance of democracy but that is a simply a ruse. We go to war, slaughter millions, have thousands of our fellow citizens die and suffer from war related issues, spend untold billions (trillions?) of tax payer dollars and there is simply no accountability. It is disgraceful, sad and dangerous to everyone.

    1. Such is the nature of all states. The difference being the capability of the state. The US is sitting in the catbird seat of capability, though it is fast declining. Another will take its place. It appears we are required to suffer an evil empire. It seems we always have.

      1. Untrue, to the extent that the U.S. has far and away exceeded all other nations combined in bringing post WWII evil to the world. The facile false equivalence is obvious here if you compare the global actions of the U.S. to, for example, Sweden or any other “developed” country. America has become uniquely evil, and that basic fact must be openly admitted, or we lose ourselves in meaningless platitudes about all countries being less than perfect.

        1. The US has become “uniquely evil” because it has the resources to be so, unlike most other nations. This is about to change. The fiat currency debt based economy is failing, as such economies always do. ALWAYS!!! The problem being that much of the world economy has allowed itself to become dependent on the US dollar, and will fall with it. Of course the “remedy” will be a worldwide cashless digital currency, which will allow the Psychopaths In Charge to use a Chinese style “social credit” to determine whether you should eat or not. The US is only a partner to the real culprit, the bank cartel.

    2. Now we dont have to use too many soldiers either. Drone them, bomb them. Mission Accomplished.

      1. I think drones are of limited capability, but they do seem like an ideal terrorist weapon.

  26. Now go back and read the article again, substituting “Israeli apartheid” for “Iraq invasion.” I, for one, would like to see such an article. Why not? Too hot? Too un-PC? Too convinced the censors will finally shut you off from Twitter, etc? I admire your courage and the quality of your journalism. But you’re still not attacking Sauron in Mordor or the One Ring that unites them all. I am not talking about Israel, Judaism, or Jews. I am not talking about some international cabal conspiracy theory. I am talking about apartheid, which is simply the extreme of colonialism, and which is at the root of Western culture and neoliberal economics. Israel simply happens to have both the most grievous and untouchable, well-defended variety of same on the planet at present.

    1. Criticizing Israeli apartheid is a relatively mainstream view; not sure why you’re acting like you have to be some kind of heroically outspoken edgelord to do it. I’ve criticized it numerous times, and so have many extremely prominent people in very mainstream circles. This weird narrative people have about criticism of the Israeli government being this forbidden taboo subject is very dated; I get much more hostile pushback for expressing skepticism of establishment Russia and China narratives and opposing US interventionism in Venezuela or Syria than I do for criticizing Israel. As a general rule, nothing Chris Hayes or Jake Tapper can get away with saying on national television is an especially exotic position.

      1. Carolyn L Zaremba Avatar
        Carolyn L Zaremba

I agree, Caitlin. But I must tell you that Facebook banned me for 24 hours for merely criticizing Israel in a post. So there is that. I am a firm supporter of BDS and will continue to be as long as the apartheid genocide of the Palestinians continues.

        1. As am I, a supporter of BDS. Criticizing Israel’s leadership should be encouraged, not discouraged.

          1. Agreed. All of this can be done and should be done without maligning or denigrating Jews as Jews. That’s Caitlin’s point IMHO.

      2. I dont mind criticizing Israel but object to the insinuation that some secret cabal of Jews are running the world.

  27. Well, wait until they (the things that run this country) kill 100 million of us and then say that there is no consequence. (This those things in Washington and elsewhere) promise they will do, but just like in Germany where the victims refused to believe so too. You too Caitlin, because I’ve told you this many times, and yet you refuse to believe how evil these things are, or how ignorant the people are of what is about to befall them.

      1. ‘but the 2003 invasion of Iraq is surely in the top ten. It killed over a million human beings, destabilized an entire region, led to the rise of ISIS and Al Nusra and facilitated a rush of new Middle Eastern interventionism, all to no benefit for the American people whatsoever, and it is utterly unforgivable.’

Quite right but did the US plan all that or did it know that would be the outcome? Just after the invasion, “Mission Accomplished” remember?

      2. Here is a website for Deagel, It is a weapons dealer and is affiliated with the CIA. Here is their population forecast for the UNited Staes for 2025. IF you go back to 2017, the population is 326 million on another page for today’s population. But here it states that in less then five years, the US will have a population of 99 million.

        https://www.deagel.com/forecast

  28. Thank you as always, Ms. Johnstone! Ladies and gentlemen, when any government declares (or doesn’t but anyway starts) a war on anything, attention must be paid, and critical thinking exercised. I, for one, have no intention of losing to any governments conspiring in the “War on Fresh Air.”

    1. Donald Trump started no new wars.

      1. And he opposed the Iraq war shortly after it started (and never really supported it in the first place).

        https://www.factcheck.org/2016/02/donald-trump-and-the-iraq-war/

      2. tried to with iran, backed the headchoppers in syria, backed the coup in bolivia, tried to start a war in venezuela, maybe his incompetence saved us.

        1. Certainly his incompetence trumped his character in causing anything good or positive to emerge during his term in office. My God, who would want their son to grow up to be like Donald Trump? On second thought, probably far too many Americans who worship only money and power

        2. No wars happened under Trump.

At no time did Trump attack Iran, North Korea, or Venezuela in such a way that committed America to war with them or required them to respond to U.S. aggression with war.

          1. To justify his deceitful statement that “Trump wages no wars, Brockland implies a definition of war that only an unhinged ideologue could agree with.

      3. Increasing the crushing economic sanctions on countries who refuse absorption, is every bit as evil as starting a “war.” That IS war. And so is continuing to bomb and drone people the world over, as he is doing. Donald Trump is a heinous pos and will lose his re-election bid shortly. Not being a Biden fan doesn’t make my statement any less true. Pompous Ass will be gone too and that, will be an enormous relief to all peace loving beings everywhere.

        1. No, diplomatic and economic aggression are not as evil as hot wars of aggression.

In the past, diplomatic and economic aggressions were the triggers of war, but that was always the wrong response by the victim.

People and infrastructure targeted by the weapons of war have little chance of survival. Diplomatic and trade aggression, however, need not be so deadly.

Venezuela and Iran supported one another through aid and trade, and were further peacefully supported and China and Russia through aid and trade.

They always had enough food and medicine, and their infrastructure remained intact.

          1. You have been arguing that tRump is good. NO politician in the United States history has been good. They have all been inspired by money and doing what benefits the rich. Trump has not removed us from any war, not even reducing troop involvement. Granted the military and press resist him, but where are his balls? He has brought all kinds of battleships around china (and bases) combined with the “fake news” which is his words for the CIA-infested press that misinforms us and divides people with disinformation and dividing “alternative facts” and algorithms designed to confuse and divide. He is another puppet like the rest, bringing division as is profitable for the globalists. HE raised the nuclear arsenal by a trillion dollars in 2017. While washing his hands of responsibility of covid, he let governors shut down the economy, and by letting big business stay open, and closing the small ones (Doesnt make sense) he thus destroyed the middle class and gave wealth to the conglomerates, also giving bankers 6.2 trillion dollars, while us twelve hundred. He blames the democrats for the economy ,but in the debate took credit for the closure. He lies continuously. The economy was never good under him despite his claims. Biden would do the same. Both democrats and republicans will not permit anybody to get an important position in their ranks without proven fealty to the globalists. He is the chief swamp creature and did not rid us of one, as they elected him (the electoral college)knowing full well his true character. It is time that you learn it. Oh yes, his attack against the deep state= he placed former CIA director Michael Pompeo as secretary of state. HE IS BOUGHT- the bankers bailed him out of trouble with casino bankruptcy.

            1. Anyone with integrity is not allowed anywhere near power (e.g. Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard, etc). Anyone near power is slime.

      4. Bullshit Brockland.
You declare the CIA coup in Bolivia was without Trump’s approval.

        1. First of all, there’s presently no war in Bolivia, civil or otherwise, no American troop presence in Bolivia, and no CIA or otherwise sponsored proxy army wreaking havoc in Bolivia.

Second, Evo Morales tried to subvert rule of law and arbitrarily install himself as Presidente for Life, an action which was soundly rejected by the majority of the Bolivian people.

Morales had lost the referendum to end Presidential term limits, disqualifying him from the 2019 Presidential election. Morales then turned to a packed court, which had little legitimacy to override Constitutional term limits on its own.

If the CIA was involved, they didn’t have to break any laws, only see to it that Bolivia’s own laws were being followed. This alone would seem to rule out any CIA involvement at all.

Bolivia is still awaiting new elections, delayed by COVID-19. Morales’ own party remains in power, sans Morales and the country is more or less at peace.

If Trump had anything to do with this, kudos to Trump for keeping real democracy alive in Bolivia.

          1. Lying Bastard Brockland.
The CIA Bought the Bolivian Police and Army with money from their drug smuggling operations.
            `
Trump’s endless Lying “war on drugs” finances the destruction of democracies in America.
            `
            Brockland is 100% toxic propaganda.

  29. While I agree with most of your points, including that support of the Iraq war should be immediately disqualifying for the presidency, you skipped over the Dem. candidate who opposed it and won-Obama. His opposition to the Iraq war was one of the reasons he got the Dem. nom., especially through help of young people. Of course his foreign policy in office, including Iraq, was dreadful. My point is holding opposition to the Iraq war as a key factor in 2020 is not necessarily the route to a peaceful Mideast.

    1. Add to that, Donald Trump revoked his support for the Iraq War in 2004, well before it was popular to do so, and remained against the war ever since.

Likely, non-support of the war was always his real position. Most Americans and Westerners can probably relate to the fear of peer pressure, fear of Little Brother retaliation, a fear which often exceeds even that of Big Brother state.

      1. Agree with all that you’ve said, but Trump stated his opposition in 2003, shortly after the war started, and was never really in favor of going to war in Iraq.

        https://www.factcheck.org/2016/02/donald-trump-and-the-iraq-war/
        —————–

He’s also started no new wars. IMHO, he’s the #1 most anti-war president we’ve had in decades. He has repeatedly made clear his opposition to wars, and his preference for getting along with others. He’s gotten a lot of heat for saying these things, unfortunately.
        ……….

I think this is the real reason that he’s been taking so much flak since he announced his run for POTUS. Nearly all of the claims against him (racism, anti-LGBT, anti-immigrant, etc.) are also lies. If you ask someone to **prove** it by quoting something he actually said (in context), or prove that he’s taken action to harm Americans, they can’t do it.

  30. Uh huh. There’s a word for articles like this; self-exoneration. A psycholigical trait often expressed by hedonistic Westerners feeling guilty about the good life they mistakenly believe imperialism has won for them, so they need to oppose imperialism but somehow, never win the cause.

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0191886918301193

Trump’s “I guess so…” is hardly a ringing endorsement compared to Biden’s enthusiastic and unwavering political support. Furthermore, at the time at the time Trump was just a mainstream civilian celebrity with no real say in whether or not the Iraq War happened or not or ended or not.

Generally there was resigned acceptance of the war by mainstream Americans, with only the hope that the war would be ‘done right’, with few American casualties, few embarrassing war crimes, and a quick exit and return to normal. This habit of resigned resignation haunts everything Americans do when confronting the ambitions of their power elites.

There has always been strong acceptance (including ‘no opinion’ of the Iraq War by Americans as evidenced by opinion polls. Most Americans and most Westerners cannot condemn Trump for his complex opinion on the war as it so mirrors their own.

Trump remains the only Presidential candidate who can win, now saying consistently that the Iraq war was a mistake and wanting to withdraw troops. He’s not saying this to be popular; many Republicans still support the Iraq invasion, even as many Democrats supposedly oppose the invasion.

In early 2003 Saddam seemed easily defeated and dire prewar warnings of quagmire seemed not to materialize. The war has lasted just one month from March to April and the Sunni Iraqi resistance had not asserted itself nor were U.S. war crimes apparent. Hardcore antiwars were rapidly losing the narrative.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_opinion_in_the_United_States_on_the_invasion_of_Iraq

Trump probably never personally supported the war; it was just the fashionable thing a person of his class and standing was expected to support. By 2004, with the Iraq occupation falling apart, Trump joined the antiwar side, which still lagged in overall popular support.

    https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/donald-trump-iraq-war/

Many ordinary Americans who did not support the war, probably minded their political correctness depending on their company. War politics touched on friendships and social networks that in turn could affect the outcome of employment business relationships.

Bottom line is, people nitpicking on whether or not Trump supported the Iraq war should probably look to themselves and ask themselves if they are really antiwar or just needing a way to feel good about American/Western imperialist aggression.

Trump is the only Presidential candidate willing to end the 9/11 wars. He’s certainly not selling war and making people feel good about war the way Obama did and Biden will.

Feeling good about war comes in vociferous antiwar hypocrisy as well. How many people claim to hate America’s wars, but can’t do the easiest thing to try and end them, vote Trump?

They can vote Biden directly, or vote third party and pretend they never supported Biden either. They can pretend with ever more unconvincing hate-thumping self-exoneration, never to see the rigged question, that Trump out means Biden in, and Trump is the only candidate who can win on Nov. 3 opposing the 9/11 Forever Wars.

    1. “Generally there was resigned acceptance of the war by mainstream Americans, with only the hope that the war would be ‘done right’, with few American casualties, few embarrassing war crimes, and a quick exit and return to normal. This habit of resigned resignation haunts everything Americans do when confronting the ambitions of their power elites.” This is the kind of incisive comment much lacking in a lot of Caitlin’s reader commentary. Thank you, Brockland, for enriching the conversation here. I disagree, however, that voting for Trump entails any genuine antiwar commitment, as his impulsivity and unpredictability, and the inflammatory language he frequently uses about other nations, including nuclear armed ones, provides little solace that Trump won’t ignorantly and belligerently stumble or blunder us into not only another war but the final one.

      1. What Trump does, is bluff. His consistent actions have been to avoid starting or triggering wars while maintaining ‘maximum pressure’ by other means; rhetoric, most obviously, but also diplomatic and economic.

Even Trump’s assassination of Iran’s General Soleimani, was done on Iraqi soil. It was a demonstration of who owned Iraq, but left it up to Iran to decide on escalation into all-out war. Iran declined.

The proxy war Iran hoped to wage in Iraq also fizzled, allowing Trump to begin troop withdrawals.

Trump is best hope for peace. He can do this because he hijacked the Republican ticket. Trump is the only President since Gerald Ford not to start any new conflict.

        https://newspunch.com/trump-is-the-first-potus-in-40-years-not-to-start-a-new-war-democrats-outraged/

The Rep-Dem duopoly parties aren’t single-interest political parties like the Libertairans, Greens, and far more invisible third parties that do exist in the U.S..

The Republicans and Democrats are grand coalitions. Most Americans already live as libertarian anarchists in their daily lives, many recent converts to Green-isms, taking old-school Democratic civil rights for granted.

The Democrats only offer globalism and war now, the realization of the worst of the old crony captilalist order.

The Republicans, are conservatives; by default they stand for carrying the best possible outcome from the past – the potential of ending of wars and globalism – into the present and future.

  31. ANYONE who supports the current government is supporting a Crime Syndicate, though it is not just this current government, it is our Parliament as a whole! It is also the government workers and, in particular, and currently, our Health Departments and their Officials!
There are government workers that KNOW their boss is corrupt, though say nothing through fear of losing employment, they have a mortgage, children, etc, so turn the other way. This is wrong! And it MUST stop, workers need to call out the crime, regardless, because if they don’t they are creating an IDEOLOGY that allows EVIL to triumph over RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Unfortunately, this Global ideology has now become a pandemic, unlike Covid-19 that is a fraud being used as a backdoor. It has allowed the governments through Emergency Powers, to gain yet more power over we-the-people, through digital means such as surveillance camera’s, phones, computers, etc.
But now they intend to take it to the next level, THEY WANT CONTROL OF YOUR BODY NOW, THEY WANT CONTROL OF WHERE YOU GO, WHAT YOU DO, THIS IS TOTALITARIANISM !!!

The Australian Government is proposing to enslave the entire population with DEBT, for the next 60yrs (their estimate) but more than likely will be 2090 or longer, these people are insane, that’s 2 generations of poverty that will suffer, that means YOUR children AND your grandchildren will live as per the Roman days of poverty & despair!
We can stop this, but we must get up off our knee’s, and stand AGAINST evil government policies and DEMAND CHANGE, DEMAND IT LOUDLY!
Are we mice? or men? There will be no turning back once they have us tagged like cattle, and that day is approaching rapidly, and will come with YOUR VACCINE! No one will escape, Canada and the UK are currently preparing for a MILITARY delivery of the vaccine, very rapidly, for example the UK estimates are 7 days to vaccinate the entire English population, and by force if necessary!

    1. The scamdemic is damaging but not necessarily the end of Western liberty and civil rights. The pushback continues.

      https://unherd.com/2020/10/covid-experts-there-is-another-way/

Canada’s military is in no position to impose martial law; 100,000 troops isn’t enough for such a geographically large country.

The U.K…. 275,00 personnel on a small island nation… maybe. In either country its going to be the police doing the minion work.

Not even Australia’s 79,000-strong military could effectively impose martial law/forced vaccinations without the police and significant public compliance.

      1. We need to go with this pandemic ju-jitsu style. Jump on the public health bandwagon and insist that the concept be broadened to include much stronger and broader government measures to protect the health of people and planet. Those on the left who are fighting against masks, social distancing, prohibition of large gatherings, etc., are fighting, however inadvertently, on the side of the plutocrats who want to reopen the oppressive and ecocidal neoliberal economy ASAP. Our goal should be the polar opposite–to take this unexpected opportunity brought by the pandemic to shut down that neoliberal MF for good, demand that everyone be bailed out, not just the rich, and then work even harder for a better, more beautiful world.

        1. NOT really. Their plan is a 500 million world population (currently 7.7 billion in a world fascist new world order- a centralized totalitarian police state. That is why we have homeland security. The future is not good unless we fight back. The most bloodless and best results are if I am elected president. Freemasons (who worship Lucifer) have manipulated the powers to themselves, and have all the money and power in their camp. Sounds unlikely and conspiratorial? Read the book, see the evidence, come to your own conclusions.

          1. A schizophrenic for president ?
            I think not.
            `
Reading your book is no way of coming to my own conclusions.

Self-promotion in post after post from Michael Kahn is a pain in the brain.

            1. The diagnosis has been claimed to be bipolar as well. I think very clearly. Nobody has proven one word of mine to be off. I have doable and valid solutions. My books are proven to be scientific facts. My character is impeccable and my work for decades admirable. No so-called schizophrenic on the planet is as highly functional as me. I have had that diagnosis, but the psychiatrists can’t figure me out, the facts and the diagnosis dont’ add up. Look at my campaign platform. But you prefer the war-mongering, rich privileged fuks who rule us, who have no interest in the people’s well being over somebody who could save humanity. THINK, MAN!!! WHO DO YOU WANT AS PRESIDENT?? A TOOL OF THE HIGHEST PAYING EVIL ENTITIES, OR A PERSON WHO HAS WORKED FOR THE PEOPLE SELFLESSLY FOR OVER THREE DECADES, AND HAS INTELLIGENT OUT OF THE BOX SOLUTIONS?? A NO-BRAINER, BUT EVEN YOU SHOULD SEE THE RIGHT CHOICE

              1. crazy is crazy, whatever the label : it all comes down to lack of Sobriety and denial of verifiable information.

        2. That’s not how ju-jitsu works. Ju-jitsu is the art of locking your opponent without being locked in turn, forcing a submission.

Once you get locked, the fight’s over. Ju-jitsu practicioners do not let themselves get locked to win a fight. They resist such that opponents fall into a lock or throw.

Embracing lockdown culture destroys our civil and economic rights in one choke-hold arm-bar, and, the Globalists won’t wait for the tap, just keep the lock in place till death.

Health care without the civil rights to ensure accountability and private means to pursue costly legal fights for justice, even against the government, isn’t meaningful health care.

          1. More bullshit political ideology based on bullshit definitions from Brockland.
Reducing Ju Jitsu to one principle is as stupefying as it is dishonest.
This bastard is trying to make us more Stupid.

  32. They are war criminals, they should all be in prison for the rest of their lives. The astonishing thing is the masses of US citizens that support war, not only that war but endless war. Continuous war for 20 years. It’s mind boggling that masses of people don’t realize the brazen cruelty of decimating the cradle of civilization. They don’t realize that we are the single most violent and dangerous force in the world. That they feel 5% of the population spending equal to the entirety of the rest of the world does on military is justified. That they don’t realize the physical expense of trillions of dollars, that their economy and lifestyle is tattered and crashing, that they don’t realize the dystopian levels of civil rights freedoms they’ve surrendered. They don’t realize the suicide rates, homelessness and levels of life altering trauma that their soldiers are victims of. That they don’t realize instead of safety they’ve created far more understandable enemies, hate and terrorists than we started with. This is the new modern high tech fascism. What’s different is that it’s kept offshore and people get to grow green lawns, drive their cars and go to work and rationalize how we’re the greatest people in the world. If the masses ever do wake up and object we have every bit of the storm trooper gestapo militarized police infrastructure to quell it. The new modern high tech fascism has an incredible propaganda narrative that keeps control without having to have domestic violence as long as the public goes along with it.

    1. America’s wars don’t have that much popular support, often poliing in the high forties but below 50%. Obama was elected as an antiwar candidate. So was Trump.

However, there is enough war support that Obama could renege without repercussions and Trump faced impeachment and Russiagates for even attempting minor pullouts from Afghanistan and Syria.

Americans are aware, but enough fearful of the enemy within that combined with the populist warmongers, antiwar cannot win.

Equating an amateur war criminal like Trump with the other polished professional war criminals of the American political elite, is a disservice to truth as Trump is the only real antiwar-ish Presidential contender.

When Biden wins, Western humanitarianism will be permanently discredited for the unjustified mass hatred and condemnation of Donald Trump that well exceeds his actual shortcomings.

      1. russiagate started before trump was even in office, and the impeachment was over looking good for the clinton wing of the party, not about minor pullouts in afghanistan which didn’t happen, or the us headchopper proxies getting their ass kicked in syria.

        1. … Russiagate was all about taking down Trump the moment he became a serious threat to the Democratic globalists. This was obviously just before he assumed power; a Plan B Stop Trump was needed if Plan A Clinton Win failed.

Russiagate had no purpose without a Trump presidency. Had Trump lost in 2016, Russiagate would have had no target.

Making the Clinton wing look good was a sideshow for the Deomocrats alone. The RINO Republicans could care less, as Clintons always look bad to them.

However, the Russiagate impeachment attempts forced Trump to seek support from war-friendly RINOs to avoid losing an impeachement vote in the Senate. RINO support came with the price of delaying withdrawals.

  33. CAMPAIGN PLATFORM FOR MICHAEL KAHN FOR PRESIDENT

    Domestic Policy
Outlaw GMOs and pesticides, organic farming only will be permitted.
Remove subsidies from unproductive farms, if we have a surplus, it is to be distributed to poor people instead of wasting land and taxes
Reduce taxes on farms that hire workers being paid well, rather than using machinery like combines. Research has found that hiring workers is just as profitable as big machinery.
Allow strong punishments on pharmaceuticals that are harmful. Allow suits as well. Remove the indemnity.
If producers of vitamins or natural cures want to claim that they are legitimate at curing ills, let them be tested and be able to advertise as such. Current FDA regulations prohibit vitamin manufacturers from such claims. Promote research to find more cures with vitamins and all-natural ingredients.
Overhaul the FDA, making sure that the Pharmaceuticals have no access to paying them and bribing them. Fund them and have civilian oversight to distinguish that they are really doing what they should. If not, hold them accountable and to be subject to criminal charges and suits themselves.
Remove the requirement of vaccinations. They are to be voluntary only.
Take back the Federal Reserve. The money belongs to the people, not the bankers.
Raise minimum wage to $15 an hour.
Confiscate all savings from people over two million dollars. We have been robbed by the rich- they have cheated, exploited, oppressed, murdered, and poisoned us to amass fortunes.
Dismantle 5G and prevent forced vaccines– that will restore health and covid 19 will disappear. Prosecute the creators of such, including the investors- Gates, etc.
Dismantle Homeland Security and restore constitutional rights- amend constitution to criminalize deceiving the people- these deceptions are more harmful to mankind than drugs are. Get rid of the Patriot Act. Dismantle the CIA. Review other intelligence agencies for removal being fazed out.
Deal with TV-get rid of its evil influence. Most certainly do not allow religion on it-maybe laws to rid us of any deceits or manipulations on it. Possibly eliminate it entirely.
Get rid of minimum sentencing for crimes. Decriminalize some drugs- fines instead of incarceration and criminal records. I would be willing to hear others’ suggestions on how to address drugs-try to eliminate them. Provide better education than “just say no”. Reduce police forces and have civilian citizen oversight. Revive and employ Guardian Angels to protect the streets. Make sure that police are properly prosecuted for any abuse of position-especially murdering people who are not armed. Remove privatized prisons, and prohibit forced labor. Inside, provide real job training and real rehabilitation. Trials by jury=real peers to be enlisted, not people unaware of the accused’s situation. Strong sentences for pedophilia, rape and murder. Also strong sentences for “white collar crime” such as what happened with opioids, if a pharmaceutical has harmful effects that pharmaceutical has been aware of, and it was hidden, and people died or other harm done by them, those who were behind that are to be tried as murder and/or other felony charges. Release those imprisoned unjustly. Fund the judicial system to make certain that fair trials are resulting. Investigate better avenues than plea bargains- there should be no such thing if people have a fair trial.
Remove the vast moneys made by oil, and give it to US government. The lack of ability to make substantial profit should remove the desire to create more. Continue to fund solar panels and wind energy, but not for long-term, the self-sustaining agricultural communities will be the norm.
The bankers hold the nation, and thus the world, in a death grip. I propose to venture a radical revolutionary power move to bring the power back to the people. I will do this by making the biblical concept of “JUBILEE” where all debts are cancelled. This would mean that mortgages are cancelled, and that the banks no longer own the real estate that they hold liens on. People may continue to live where they have been. Because no landlord is thus required to pay back mortgage responsibilities, the savings will be passed on to renters. Landlords will be required to charge no more than one hundred dollars per room per month, plus the property’s share of taxes and utility bill. This way, residences will be affordable to virtually all Americans, landlords will be making a moderate profit, and banks will lose their leverage of power.

    Foreign Policy
    Withdraw troops from foreign lands
Worldwide disarmament of nuclear and chemical weapons
Remove sanctions from all nations, and do not use sanctions as manipulative and abusive strategy- it is as cruel as military war.
Remove funding from Israel and support Palestinians.
Remove our economic policies of exploitation from all third world nations. Make international laws prohibiting and prosecuting oppression and exploitation of indigenous people of every land.
Eliminate the petrodollar and our military presence in the middle east.
Restorative measures and a 21st Century New Deal
Instead of welfare roles increasing, and the mass unemployment created by covid 19 government employment of many people to plant non-gmo organic fruit trees throughout USA and other nations.
Government also employ people with building self-sustaining agricultural communities as proposed in my book.
These are just proposals for you to view. I have had nobody to bounce ideas with for several years, and while most of my ideas have no room for change, some issues do. I invite comments, criticisms, additions, suggestions, and collaboration. I would like to be a “father” to a nation that has allowed itself to be subject to wrong values, wrong mindsets, and wrong worldviews due to the propaganda of television, religion, bankers, and freemasons. With that in mind, I would also like to have the education system overhauled to promote our youth to have good strong values of integrity, service, discipline-strong bodies and strong minds, ability for critical thinking, and to do their own research; not learning to memorize and obey. We will deal strongly with television and media to stop propaganda and manipulation, if we allow it to exist at all. Economic health and protection from terrorists (in reality our own government) are not as important as strong body and mind health, as well as liberated thinking and values. Instead of imposing (dis)information to be memorized, further education for youth should be redirected towards skills and trades to enable contribution to society rather than focused on making money for the rich.

    1. Blah blah blah

  34. “Nobody who supported the Iraq invasion should be working in politics at all. They shouldn’t be able to find employment anywhere more prominent or influential than a cash register. It’s entirely legitimate for any voter to reject anyone who supported the unforgivable invasion of Iraq, and indeed to reject the entire political system that gave rise to them.”
THEY SHOULD ALL BE IN JAIL FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE or THROWN OUT OF A PLANE AT 30,000FT!
The Australian Government is also up to its neck in shit for supporting ALL OF IT! And I would support their hanging from a rope until they rot & drip! Cock sucking dog shit they are!

  35. Yeah, war truly sucks. That said, Saddam Hussein liked nothing better than warring against his neighbors unless perhaps it was testing the effectiveness of both chemical and biological extermination against his own people as well as the Iranians. His first official act was to drag his political enemies, real or imagined, out of their assembly to be murdered by his henchmen. Torture was the order of every day with ID cards issued to officially approved rapists where such was deemed appropriate. He invaded Kuwait like a bunch of pirates and when beaten back by the US, put extensive oilfields to the torch on the way out just for spite. It was only after repeated infractions of the following “peace treaty” as well as an attempted murder of a former US President who just happened to be the father of the current US President (imagine that) did the straw fall which broke that particular camel’s back. As a general rule, one does not “find” weapons of mass destruction which can easily be traced back to oneself or one’s allies. It is regarded “bad form”. They should have taken the bastard out the first go around and simply left. IMHO.

    1. from ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH
Many American people felt that the US government was justified for attacking Iraq, as Saddam had used chemical weapons on his own people. Does that make sense? Should we then murder his people for being his victims? Let us investigate a little further.
Starting in 1983, the US was involved in eighty shipments of biological and chemical components of botulism toxin, anthrax, gangrene bacteria, and West Nile virus to Iraq. A senate investigation in 1994 found that before and after (1986-1990) Saddam used chemical weapons to annihilate the Kurdish town of Halabjah in 1988, the United States licensed companies to export to Iraq $600 million worth of advanced technology and material which was used by Iraq to make VX nerve agent, anthrax, mustard gas, and more.
Iraq willingly submitted a report on their weapons. The Bush administration publicly accused the Iraq weapons report as being incomplete. Iraq is awake and aware of US government tactics. Iraq had made extra copies of the complete report and had unofficially distributed them to journalists throughout Europe – 11,000 pages each. The United States removed 8,000 pages of its copy of the report that implicated 24 US-based corporations and the Reagan and Bush administrations with illegally supplying Saddam Hussein’s government with weapons of mass destruction, and training them how to use them. Eastman Kodak, DuPont, Honeywell, Rockwell, Sperry, Hewlett Packard, and Bechtel were all involved. The missing pages contained information that implicated the Reagan and Bush administrations with war crimes. Most notable was defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld as the liaison for US military during the war between Iraq and Iran, and for collaborating with Saddam. It seems that the White House didn’t think that Iraq would be honest and implicate themselves by exposing US involvement.
After the first gulf war, the United States held sanctions against Iraq, causing shortages of food, medical supplies, and medicine. Under the embargo, the Iraqi people lived on $174 a year per person. In May 1996 the United Nations ambassador Madeleine Albright said a half million Iraqi children under age five had died since the war. Unicef said 150 died each day under sanctions being held until Iraq proved itself being unable to build biological or chemical weapons. I wonder who is going to hold the United States accountable. What the media concealed was that eighteen companies in the US, and 21 of western nations supplied chemicals (information from Simon Weisenthal center in LA).
By 2000, a million Iraqi children had starved to death or were victims of cancer or other results of depleted uranium weapons. Then secretary of state, Madeleine Albright was asked if the sanctions-having killed a million children- was a good idea in hindsight. She replied: “I think this is a very hard choice, but the price, we think the price was worth it.” What was worth those children’s lives? What did the sanctions accomplish? Will punishing Iraqi children teach a nation (the United States) that has no regard for, nor values, human life, a lesson? Will it teach the US to not supply other nations with poison? Washington refused to take responsibility for the human toll from economic sanctions.

      1. Thank you for supplying details and actually telling the truths that developed later only to be ignored by MSM and the globalist narrative control system.

      2. Great post. Thank you for sharing such a concise account of our involvement in Iraq and our WMDs.

      3. Nice info supplement. Truth be told, Saddam wasn’t doing all that bad a job for the vast majority of Iraq’s citizens. There are numerous accounts to read of Europeans, for example, who were frequent visitors to Iraq before we destroyed it, and a lot of what they saw was encouraging. No doubt Saddam did some horrible things along the way, but likely no more and probably less than a host of other third world dictators who weren’t running countries in America’s geopolitical crosshairs.

    2. Saddam was a CIA-backed strongman who outlived his usefulness. Hussein had chemical weapons because Poppy provided the precursors. The use of chemical weapons against Iranians was just fine with Washington, the true stokers of that war who played both sides. Washington also set up the first Gulf War—playing up Hussein’s quarrel with Kuwait—and then proceeded to nearly destroy Iraq and left the country to suffer its ruins and the ensuing decade of bombings, no-fly zones, and sanctions. Washington then lied about “the threat” of Hussein after the big lie that was 9/11 was somehow made to give people the wacky impression that Hussein was a threat. So then they went back in and fucked up Iraq again. In the worst way.
Funny that you should bring up torture and can cavalierly state that “our” bastards should have the right to take out “a bastard” just cause we say so.

      1. Outlived his usefulness is one way to put it, but Saddam bought weapons from and/or provided weapons testing for anyone, not just the US. As a result those other nations, as represented in the UN, failed to stop trading weapons for oil and cash which basically forced the US to close shop on that because Saudi Arabia and other neighboring countries were increasingly in Saddam’s sights. There’s plenty of blame to throw around here, not just the US. But yes, our bastards had to remove him.

        1. Apart from all these valid points, isn’t it that one nation in the region requires a complete overhaul to fulfill its geopolitical ambitions and that that nation has the capability of getting the USA to do the heavy lifting? Just saying …

        2. Well yes—to destroy Arab socialism and work a path to Persia via Syria, to establish bases and foment terrorist proxies—to get certain RESULTS, yes, Hussein had to be “removed”. The “side-effects” suffered by general populations be damned, right?

  36. Yes, Ms Johnstone, the United States invasion of Iraq is many times over ” war crimes ” of the utmost. The people within the United States ” do not care ” about ” any others ” existing on this planet. Our government kills wherever it feels like killing and there are very few consequences for it. United States soldiers and their families suffer the consequences but the average ” citizen ” has been brainwashed to feel nothing for any ” enemy of our government”. Yes, it is insane, extremely insane, but we are ” exceptional ” and next to gods. Morals, ethics, empathy, etc. are weaknesses to be avoided; thus we follow leaders that are greedy bloodthirsty savages.

“The most powerful government on earth has still yet to have a single presidential election that doesn’t feature a prominent candidate who supported one of the most evil things that government has ever done.”
    .
No one (of consequence) in the most powerful government on earth is allowed to think or believe or express that what was done there is evil. You do the bidding of those paying you. The most powerful government on earth knows who they work for and take money from, and it sure ain’t who they teach it is in school.
    .
“Yet there have been no consequences for it. No real changes of any kind were made to American military, governmental, political or media institutions to ensure that a similar atrocity never happens again, because the drivers of US foreign policy had every intention of doing it again.”
    .
It’s working perfectly as designed. No reason for them to fix what they’ve worked so hard to construct and benefit from. Just a few tweaks once in a while to make it serve them even better.

“Nobody who supported the Iraq invasion should be working in politics at all.”
    .
Anyone who didn’t support the Iraq invasion will not be allowed in the upper reaches of politics and government. There are rules to this game, and they are followed to the letter by those with political ambition.
    .
Whether it is this issue or some other, the big players follow the spirit of that famous quotation,
“To find out who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” In this particular instance, it is WHAT you are not allowed to criticize.

  38. These filthy criminal scum (google, faceshit, twitter) have been rigging elections for decades now, and it is about time people wake-up to the fact, these entities BELONG to the Deep State greedy psychopaths. This is what this Covid-19 is all about, this is about taking us back to a two tier Society, the rich and the poor, there will be NO middle-class, if we let them have their way!
People need to get up off their knees and stand up, stand up to these swine known as our government, and break their back. Say NO to masks, say NO to mandates, say NO to Lock down, say NO to the next election by NOT voting, take in you Medicare Card and throw it at them, telling them you DO NOT SUPPORT OUR ARROGANT CRIMINAL GOV & HEALTH OFFICIALS! 1. This post was meant for the last editorial! Fuck GOOGLE!

  39. It is difficult for people to say but the USA, since WW2, has killed more innocent civilians, overthrown more democracies, exported more killing equipment, spent more on military crap, taught more countries that violence was the way to solve problems, stole more talent from other countries and supported more evil dictators than any other country, by far.
Wimpy countries like mine, Canada, do not object because we may suffer a financial loss if we piss off the evil empire.

    1. You have an apt pen name. The list of wimpy countries, toadies to American empire, is a long one. The few countries not on this list are, of course, on another called the American enemy list. We’ll know this evil empire is really starting to crumble when more countries summon the courage and integrity to move from the former list to the latter. I’d love to see a China/Russia coalition, pledging substantial assistance to such list-changing countries as they come to realize how pathetic they look to those with open eyes, both inside and outside their borders.

  40. AS a presidential candidate, I support NO wars that the US has been involved in since WW2. I do not support sanctions, i do not support Israeli policy, i do not support the continuous war in Afghanistan. And contrary to what you wrote regarding how ISIS growth was a result from our involvement in Iraq, my research has shown that ISIS is a US and Israeli operative that was used to annihilate Arabs, never attacking US or Israel, but attacking the allies from civilian Arab areas, allowing US and other nations military to bomb the hell out of them. Its leader, Al Baghdadi, real name was Simon Elliott, a mossad agent. He was held captive in CAmp Bucca, US prison camp in Syria, where he was third in terrorist hierarchy. The two above him were killed by US military, but he was freed. There were ulterior motives to 9-11 demolition job with every politician in DC complicit, proven in my book ANGRY LOUD AND CLEAR TRUTH. You can read for yourself the entire book on sale on amazon for a lousy $3.
THe US has used depleted uranium and white phosphorous in the arab lands, killing and maiming the land itself and its citizens, and many US veterans after returning home. The weapons used were poison to land and men, and are a war crime therein

Exactly right Caitlin and these guys are the successors of the guys who dropped atom bombs on Japan and covered Vietnam with burning gasoline, not to mention the fact that they funded and continue to support one of the worst bunch of war criminals in history, the Zionist enterprise that has successfully misused the oldest of western religious tradition to justify their criminality.

    1. Worse than dropping gasoline on innocent civilians, the good folks at Harvard, no less, developed Napalm on one of the Harvard sports fields. They wanted to do a really good job. The Napalm had to keep burning under water, it had to stick to the skin so some mother could not wipe it off, it had to burn down to the bone and the Harvard profs did this successfully with no qualms.
The USA #1 killer and problem on this planet.

    1. Empty invective solves nothing and little more than blowing smoke to cover the obvious.

Harris-Biden or Donald Trump will be President after January 2021. Trump at least talks big on ending the 9/11 wars and his COVID-19 fumbling has also obstructed medical police statism.

Advocate for Trump, or stop pretending to really oppose Western imperialism and Deep Statism.

I support Donald Trump because Trump out means Biden in, guaranteed. And Biden’s support of the 9/11 wars and global medical police statism is unequivocal and heartfelt. Insofar as people like Harris-Biden have hearts.

Honestly, the blatant self-exculpatory behavior of so many supposed anti-imperialists is just so grating. Hate the Great Leader all you want, you never wanted to win, just enjoy the spoils of empire without guilt.

      1. You are 100% correct, Brockland. Trump has been the target of more attacks than any POTUS has ever been subjected to. I strongly believe that this is because he is not one of their normally “vetted & approved” candidates. He thinks for himself and is bucking the establishment. They even complain about him going “off-script,” which is pretty funny. Whose script is he supposed to follow, anyway?

      2. Empty invective is the main theme of Brockland’s verbose and plagiaristic posts.

    2. Judaism is not a Western religious tradition : it comes out of the humanSacrifice middleEastern madness of Baal and Molloch and Zarathustra … and invaded the West with “Convert or Die’ and the burning of libraries.
