The Principia Discordia is the primary text of Discordianism, which has been described as either an elaborate joke disguised as a religion or a religion disguised as an elaborate joke, depending on who you ask.

One section describes a short dialogue between the Principia‘s author “Malaclypse the Younger” (Mal-2) and “the Goddess”, who speaks to him through a radio:

One day Mal-2 asked the messenger spirit Saint Gulik to approach the Goddess and request Her presence for some desperate advice. Shortly afterwards the radio came on by itself, and an ethereal female Voice said YES?

“O! Eris! Blessed Mother of Man! Queen of Chaos! Daughter of Discord! Concubine of Confusion! O! Exquisite Lady, I beseech You to lift a heavy burden from my heart!”

WHAT BOTHERS YOU, MAL? YOU DON’T SOUND WELL.

“I am filled with fear and tormented with terrible visions of pain. Everywhere people are hurting one another, the planet is rampant with injustices, whole societies plunder groups of their own people, mothers imprison sons, children perish while brothers war. O, woe.”

WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH THAT, IF IT IS WHAT YOU WANT TO DO?

“But nobody Wants it! Everybody hates it.”

OH. WELL, THEN STOP.

At which moment She turned herself into an aspirin commercial and left The Polyfather stranded alone with his species.

“WELL, THEN STOP.” As you would expect from a joke disguised as a religion (or religion disguised as a joke), this is both funny and profound.

Because doesn’t it kind of feel like that’s the message we’ve been getting? From the divine if you like, or from the universe, or just from the mundane reality of our situation? Humanity’s leading problems at this point in history are not due to sabre-toothed tigers or deadly plagues whose nature we don’t understand, but are instead generated by humanity itself. War, tyranny, exploitation, ecocide–these are human-generated problems.

So it kind of feels like the message we’re getting here is, “WELL, THEN STOP.” If we don’t like how things are, we should knock it off. Stop waging wars. Stop exploiting and impoverishing each other. Stop killing the ecosystem. Don’t do those nutty things.

And of course the joke is that while this is true, it’s much easier said than done. It’s one thing for some lofty deity to tell us “WELL, THEN STOP” from on high, and quite another for us to actually do it.

But for those who care about our world, it’s still a question that needs to be taken seriously. Really, why don’t we stop?

One answer you’ll run into a lot is that this is just human nature. That it’s human nature to be selfish, competitive, predatory, exploitative, tyrannical, vicious, brutish, and violent. Some people strongly believe this, and get quite defensive if you challenge that belief.

Personally, I never turn my back on such people. Someone who says it’s human nature to be selfish, competitive, predatory, exploitative, tyrannical, vicious, brutish and violent isn’t telling you about human nature, they’re telling you about their own nature. I look within myself and find none of those things, but if you tell me that’s what you find when you look within yourself, I believe you.

The self-destructive behavioral patterns we’re seeing play out in our species are not the result of some unalterable feature inherent in our nature. This is evidenced by the existence of many human beings whose behavior is kind, gentle, generous, and collaborative. Humans are not inherently self-destructive, it’s just a behavior we see exhibited to varying degrees in some humans.

Most adults understand that it’s wrong to judge a racial, ethnic or religious group for the immoral actions of a few of its members, but sometimes it seems like they often fail to extend this same principle to humanity as a whole. The problem is not “human nature”, the problem is that some humans fail to develop functioning empathy centers in their brains, often as a result of early childhood trauma. Those humans then use the competitive edge their lack of empathy gives them in a system which rewards competitiveness and a willingness to do anything to get ahead to ascend to positions of power. That is why we are in the mess we’re in.

This is an important distinction, because it means we’re not up against some intrinsic aspect of our being here. We’re up against a small minority of manipulative sociopaths and psychopaths and a system which rewards a lack of empathy. The maxim that there are more of us than there are of them remains true, and it means that we can indeed use the power of our numbers to force real change. To move our world into health. To stop.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with humanity itself that is making a mess of things. The problem is that we’re swimming in lies that we’ve been indoctrinated into by liars who benefit from our remaining deceived. All our problems can be solved by moving from lies to truth.

There are no human-generated problems that can’t be solved by truth. The truth about imperialism. The truth about capitalism. The truth about power. The truth about propaganda. The truth about mental narrative. The truth about consciousness. There’s nothing inherently wrong with us as a whole; we’ve just been confused by lies.

All that’s required is for enough people to become sufficiently aware of what’s true for a real revolution against our sociopathy-rewarding systems to become possible. All positive human behavioral changes are always the result of our becoming more aware of the dynamics underlying our negative behaviors, whether you’re talking about addictions, poor anger management, bigotry and prejudice, or unjust political systems. Every single positive development in the way humans behave in the world has been preceded by an increase in awareness, throughout our entire history.

This is how we change things. This is how we stop. We become sufficiently aware in sufficient numbers of the abusive nature of our systems, and of who is doing the abusing, to open up the possibility of a revolutionary movement away from our sociopathy-serving competition-based models to systems in which we collaborate with each other and with our ecosystem for the common good.

There is nothing in us which is preventing this. We’re just not aware enough yet. We have yet to wake up. But just like awakening from sleep, awakening from our propaganda-induced coma can happen suddenly, and lead immediately to a situation that is unrecognizably different from the situation which preceded it.

  1. I got sent here by one of my fellow *social deviants,* and sent a note about this post to others.

The section you quoted from *Principia Discordia* is one of my favorites in that, or, actually, any book.

When I was in charge of an elementary school computer lab (which is when I discovered the PD), like other educators I gave the students a set of rules to follow. Don’t have food and drink by a computer, don’t run around the room, etc. But I also explained the reasons for every single rule. If a student got time out, they were told that was for them to think about the rule they broke and remember the reasons why it was important. Before they returned to their chair, I had them tell me the rule and why that rule existed. And the students were free to ask me about the rules; I actually made a modification to one of them because an elementary school student pointed out something I had missed.

But I also followed all of my own rules. One day I told a couple of my top student helpers that if they ever saw me break one of the rules, they could give me time out. (I wouldn’t say that to a whole class, but those two helpers found it pretty funny).

What does all this have to do with your post? Because that’s how I think society should work. If people understand how things work, can help with a system with rules that makes sense, have people that explain what’s really going on and why it’s going on that way, and have leaders who follow their own guidelines (i.e. practice what you preach), those who are selfish, (overly) competitive, predatory, exploitative, tyrannical, vicious, brutish, and violent will stand out like sore thumbs. And that’s when they’re in elementary school. Instead of growing up to take over and inflict their problems on others, they can get help and counseling early on.

A trained observer can often pick out those traits in kindergartners; why do we wait until they get into power over us to see there’s a problem?

    1. Alden sent me here. 🙂

Marvelous post! There’s a lot of real philosophy in Principia Discordia. But just like in religions that aren’t also jokes there’s a lot of hypocrisy in the followers too.

  2. dynamite! inspiring!
i believe this is as accurate: a description of what it is that i have seen.
what should be is the question(s). so hee goes:
taking the natural model of the human family, we give ACCORDING TO OUR ABILITIES TO THOSE ACCOrDING TO THEIR NEEDS. not according to their wants.
thus, Basic median income to take the pressure off that can come from outside.
Free health care medicine and help. of al kinds. a kinder, gentler nation: thank you for that Geo. Bush da 1st comandante 4 of the CIA and oh yeah , prez.
how about free rent and food also. room and board. if your family cannot provide it right now, this fact of anecdotal history should not trap anyone into homelessness. everyone should have the rights to health care, shelter, and sustenance.
so socialism. but not as mandatory as being made a millionaire.
Wilhelm Reich in his The Mass Psychology of Fascism said, “Work love and knowledge are the wellsprings of human existence.” I read that in 1971 in Spain and it stuck with me.
So we have to add work. and learning , jobs and education. something to mak a person feel useful. something to inspire invention and innovation and learning. no human is lazy. every dream is a seedling. so encouragement of varied POV’s should be mandatorily eclectic.
when we visit other cultures we must allow wisdom to flourish in the form of curiosity. and tolerance i mean i do not like the oppression of las femmes in Islam. but they must speak up before i do…i their lands. in mine we do as the Romans do, and we’re the romans. in the middle east they are.
i would speak out in AFrica about washing dead bodies until ebola springs forth, or drinking dirty water, or female circumcision. i cannot shut up. but one person at a time. not with my armored divisions.
and incredibly worse is the capitalists need to command the Other, instead of enjoying them there are no terrorists in Islam only freedom fighters doing the same things we did when we were occupied by the British and we shot at them from behind trees as they marched by in red coats.
furthermore, slavery is illegal. as is the buying and selling of people. if CorpoRATS are “persons.” how the hell can they own another one! Oracle goggles up 14 new startups a year. that is their announced goal. Ellison bought a suburban getaway island called Lanai just off Maui. people own their own homes there…or used to…how does that work?
there is a duchess living in Paris who owns the land around Salobrena in Spain. the (peasant) farmers get to own small lots for home on a promontory that juts highover the view of the Med, and she owns all the land around….they have been sharecroppers for centuries. maybe CorpoRat-people ought to have life sentences.
Royalty was our first big mistake. the 2nd was a paternal authoritarian god head.
There were no wars when gods were all women.

  3. Um, I would like to share your optimism, but it seems our species has the pesky habit of cranking out sociopaths at a consistent percentage level, throughout its history. It does this both on large national/cultural scales, and down into little offices and homes. It even does it inside a person! Pogo had it right, and the problem is us, never mind however many kind generous etc people there are. Unhappily, but true.

    1. But don’t you think things are much better than they used to be? Executions used to be fun for the whole family. If you killed the ruler, you could take over. Most countries don’t do those things anymore.

      1. Actually there are still many places in which these things are done. Or things like it. Or for example the nice civilized USA has 700 or 800 bases littered around the world, killing people globally because they have something of “America’s interests” in their land. We are just cleverer and try to keep our constant killing off-screen and out of Americans minds. We are a brutal nation, internally and externally.

The USA is 4.4% of the world’s population; it occupies 7% of the globe’s land surface and it consumes 25% of the world’s resources. It does this by economic extortion and blackmail, and that failing by military means because it has by far the largest military in the world.

This is violent greed which we mask with propaganda internationally and internally.

  4. Is this the price for having learned how not to cry?

  5. I wish it were true that we are as civilized as we wish we were. Generally, three days or so without food, and we become as wild and vicious as any other animal. A week or so without food and cannibalism becomes a thing.
Each of us is capable of the most evil thing you see. Sanity is keeping that evil in check, and promoting our better nature. Which requires awareness of that evil within. Which makes it easier to recognize in others.

“rewards competitiveness and a willingness to do anything to get ahead to ascend to positions of power”
A vast difference between the two. Competition is nothing more than a desire to do better. One can compete with one’s self. On the other hand ” a willingness to do anything to get ahead” is predation, not competition. As capitalism isn’t a bad thing,, unless predators gain control of the capital, which they have.

    1. The reason why all power structures are corrupt. Actually a benevolent king is best but even one truistic man cannot know all the mischief his minions are about on a daily basis. Power truly does corrupt. Many not all cops today are wannabr bullies who enjoy pushing people around and are now trained to take extreme force when not warranted.

    2. @JWK

      Capitalism IS a predatory concept.

Commerce is natural. But we don’t need capitalism to engage in commerce.

      Capitalism is not commerce.
Commerce is the exchange of goods or money or services for goods and money and services.

There is no requirement for predatory behaviour whilst conducting commerce.

It is only the teaching of the concept of capitalism which results in the predatory and unhealthy competitive and greedy behaviour.

      Capitalism is not democracy.

  6. Caitlin, great how you see thru the schmegma and present us with the simple truth in such a delightful way, not to sound like a sychophant, but just to be sincerely appreciative.

One point I want to bring to your attention is that once proof of vaccination has to be on passports, the game is essentially over and humanity will be forever lost or enslaved a la 1984, 2021 version. That is how close we are to being checkmated. The propaganda has humanity biting at the bit to get the vaccine and to condemn anyone who would endanger everyone by not wanting it. Those inconsiderate assholes deserve to be restricted and ostracized, they will think.

This is they have to do, and then there will be the necessity of more of the vaccine, and god knows what will be in them. and UBI, and universal digital money, and the control will be unbreakable a la 1984, 2021 stylee.

Sound the alarm, we have been propagandalized to surrender ourselves to endless tyranny.

  7. The current model seems to be a crude extraction from something that feels intuitively true: that competition yields better results, that by doing things and building stuff we are “advancing”. But to where? For what purpose and for who’s benefit? Any sit down let’s think about this type of conversation quickly reveals some gaping holes in our overriding ethos. Most strikingly the lack of an overall plan or objective. We really are just a bunch of apes in shoes bumbling around blindly assembling compounds with absolutely no plan. From that perspective we’re doing great! If our plan is bumble around and invent things then we are successful. We have language and culture, something unique to us that fulfils a function that so far alludes us. Can we agree on a plan? I think an obvious one that few would disagree with is “don’t go extinct.” No other organism has the capacity to think this way. We are unique in that we can object to our annihilation (unless something like a meteorite hits us and we are just wiped out). But why “don’t go extinct?” We need to answer that question on a deep level. We need to find meaning to our existence beyond just bumbling around, inventing stuff. I think the answer lies in some kind of spiritual pursuit. Science isn’t going to help us as science simply looks at crude processes, what can, given the same initial circumstances, be repeated. It will not illuminate a path forward. Somewhere within universal love for the planet and her inhabitants lies the answer. Then how do we get others to recognise this answer. How does the individual satori transmute to a collective vision?

    1. We have the open competition model, then the sheep and wolves model and finally feudalism. Which do you prefer. No communes working together fall under sheep and wolves.

  8. THE GREAT DIVISION
Posted on March 29, 2021 by Mark

And then many will fall away,
and betray one another, and hate one another.
And many false prophets will arise
    and lead many astray.
    And because wickedness is multiplied,
most men’s love will grow cold.
    (Matt 24:10-12)

LAST week, an interior vision that came to me before the Blessed Sacrament some sixteen years ago was burning on my heart again. And then, as I entered the weekend and read the latest headlines, I felt I should share it again as it may be more relevant than ever. First, a look at those remarkable headlines…

    NEW DIVISIONS

In Ireland, the faithful were shocked to learn over the weekend in the Irish Catholic newspaper that the government there will consider it “an offence for a priest to leave his home to celebrate a public Mass unless this is a funeral or a wedding.” Of course, this means it would be a crime for the faithful to attend a Mass, even if they follow the same protocols that allow them into other public spaces.

Then a screenshot of a Catholic Church’s website in New Jersey, USA shot around the globe this weekend of a new restriction put in place by the pastor:

“Confessions are Now Available for Those Who Are Vaccinated”

The idea that a priest would only hear the confessions of the vaccinated is not only a violation of Canon Law 843.1, but utterly contradicts the example of Jesus, the saints and many martyrs who were not afraid to touch the “unclean” — and who even gave their lives to bring the sacraments to those with disease and plague. For it is the disease of the soul that can lead to eternal death.

A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:11)

Of course, this pastor is working from a flawed but widespread myth that the unvaccinated are somehow a threat to the “common good,” and thus putting “people’s lives in danger.”[1] For one, this presumption totally excludes those who have built natural immunity to a virus or who, for medical reasons, cannot receive a vaccine. Also, it ignores the fact that the vaccinated have actually been shown to still be carriers of a virus, such as has happened with the vaccine against mumps,[2] polio,[3] whooping cough,[4] and diptheria,[5] to name but a few.[6] In fact, not only do the current COVID-19 experimental mRNA vaccines not stop infection (they only reduce symptoms for some),[7] but several renowned virologists are warning that the vaccines may actually spark mass deaths by causing new variants that the vaccinated themselves will carry,[8] or cause unforeseen auto-immune reactions.[9]
By Monday morning, the bishop stepped in and put an end to this shocking policy as his Vicar General reiterated the Vatican’s recent document that vaccines cannot be considered a moral obligation.[10]

Meanwhile, in the diocese of Kansas City, it is a different story. The diocesan website reads:

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and encouraged by Bishop Johnston that particular sections of the parish church be designated for those persons who continue to prefer wearing a mask at this time as well as those who are not vaccinated. Another area is to be designated for the vaccinated and non-mask wearing section. —kcsjcatholic.org

This is liturgical apartheid — based, again, on the aforementioned faulty assumptions. It also contradicts the growing mountain of studies, for instance, that show masking of the healthy to be insignificant in reducing the transmission of the virus, and may actually be spreading it faster.[11] Hence, such incredibly divisive measures seem to be based on fear rather than facts. For those in America who remember the days of segregation, these guidelines from a Catholic Church, no less, must be appalling. Of course, for those who believe the daily misinformation of the mainstream media, they might find these guidelines reassuring. However, what happened to “follow the science”?

Meanwhile, in a letter to his flock, one Californian bishop stated:

It is vitally important that all of us receive the Covid vaccine. The Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are safe and effective. —Rev. Robert W. McElroy, Bishop of San Diego; letter

This while nearly 6000 deaths and over 200,000 injuries have been reported from the vaccines between the American[12] and European[13]adverse reporting systems, with estimates that this only comprises 1-10% of incidences actually reported.[14] Thus, such incredibly divisive edicts being issued by the hierarchy are far from being reassuring for many of the faithful who are apparently far more well read on the scientific data. But that hasn’t stopped major publications like the Jesuit’s America Magazine from headlines like this:

Churches should mandate vaccines for people coming back to Mass. —February 19th, 2021; americamagazine.org

It is remarkable, even to some secular ethicists, that an experimental medical treatment like this can even remotely be considered a moral obligation. How is it, then, that several hierarchy have suddenly become the leading advocates for Big Pharma — at the cost of dividing and even excluding the faithful from the sacraments?

The Devil is taking advantage of the crisis to sow distrust, desperation, and discord. —POPE FRANCIS, Palm Sunday Angelus, March 28th, 2021; reuters.com

    THE COMING PARALLEL COMMUNITIES

Pope Benedict XVI issued a warning in 2009 that the powers driving globalization run the risk of creating new divisions in humanity if they remain unchecked.

The principal new feature has been the explosion of worldwide interdependence, commonly known as globalization… without the guidance of charity in truth, this global force could cause unprecedented damage and create new divisions within the human family. —Caritas in Veritate, n. 33

The crisis of this very hour could indeed be summarized as “charity without truth.” Hence, virtue-signalling has replaced science; censorship has displaced discussion; irrationality has neutered reason; fear has blinded the facts; and panic has dispensed with prudence. As such, new divisions, like cracks in the earth’s crust, are forming between families and communities, coworkers and schoolmates — if not nations, as the origins of the coronavirus continually point toward a bio-weapon developed at a Wuhan laboratory in China.[15] Sadly, many readers have already recounted to me personally the hostile reactions they’ve received both in public and private settings as the virus of fear has spread like a contagion. And this will only explode as several nations begin to implement “vaccine passports” that will make it impossible for one to travel, shop, and move about freely without one.

Now you understand how St. John’s vision of a global “beast” that forces all to “buy and sell” with a “mark” is anything but far-fetched.

Years ago on one of my concert tours in the U.S., the Lord showed me various aspects of these times in a series of interior visions and words. For instance, whenever we passed through toll booths or border crossings, I sensed an intense spirit of control there, and that these would become future “checkpoints” to control population’s movements. Now, it’s becoming abundantly clearer how and why.

But one word stands out from the rest at this time. It came to me during a week of prayer with a priest who had fled Hurricane Katrina, and who came to spend time with me, as his parish and rectory were decimated. We were sitting before the Blessed Sacrament in a small chapel at the base of the Canadian Rockies. Earlier in the day, while driving up that mountain, I had to stop our vehicle as a powerful vision came to me of pilgrims walking up the mountain with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Why, was not clear; but the sense was that they were seeking refuge.

While before the Sacrament, I was given what I would call an interior locution (inaudible prophetic word). Perhaps we are now seeing the beginning of this vision, and how those who refuse to be coerced by the state may have to band together sooner than later. The kernel of the “word” was simply an infused understanding that “parallel communities” were going to emerge — those with access to resources, and those without.

    Vision of the Parallel Communities

(first published on September 14th, 2006 on the
Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross and eve of the
Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows)

I saw that, in the midst of the virtual collapse of society due to cataclysmic events, a “world leader” would present an impeccable solution to the economic chaos. This solution would seemingly cure not only these economic strains, but the deep social need of society, that is, the need for community. I immediately perceived that technology and the rapid pace of life have created an environment of isolation and loneliness—perfect soil for a new concept of community to emerge. In essence, I saw what would be “parallel communities” to the Christian communities. The Christian communities would already have been established through “the illumination” or “Warning” or perhaps sooner (they would be cemented by the supernatural graces of the Holy Spirit, and protected beneath the mantle of the Blessed Mother.)

The “parallel communities,” on the other hand, would reflect many of the values of the Christian communities—fair sharing of resources, a form of spirituality and prayer, like-mindedness, and social interaction made possible (or forced into being) by the preceding purifications, which would compel people to draw together. The difference would be this: the parallel communities would be based on a new religious idealism, built on the footings of moral relativism and structured by New Age and Gnostic philosophies. AND, these communities would also have food and the means for comfortable survival.

The temptation for Christians to cross-over will be so great, that we will see families split, fathers turned against sons, daughters against mothers, families against families (cf. Mark 13:12). Many will be deceived because the new communities will contain many of the ideals of Christian community (cf. Acts 2:44-45), and yet, they will be empty, godless structures, shining in a false light, held together by fear more than by love, and fortified with easy access to the necessities of life. People will be seduced by the ideal—but swallowed by the falsehood. (Such will be the tactics of Satan, to mirror true Christian communities, and in this sense, create an anti-church).

As hunger and incrimination escalate, people will face a choice: they can continue to live in insecurity (humanly speaking) trusting in the Lord alone, or they can choose to eat well in a welcoming and seemingly secure community. (Perhaps a certain “mark” will be required to belong to these communities—an obvious but plausible speculation I deduced (cf. Rev 13:16-17)).

Those who refuse these parallel communities will be deemed not only outcasts, but obstacles to what many will be deceived into believing is the “enlightenment” of human existence—the solution to a humanity in crisis and gone astray. (And here again, terrorism is another key element of the enemy’s present plan. These new communities will appease the terrorists through this new world religion thereby bringing about a false “peace and security”, and hence, Christian’s will become the “new terrorists” because they oppose the “peace” established by the world leader.)

Even though people will have by now heard the revelation in Scripture regarding the dangers of a coming world religion (cf. Rev 13:13-15), the deception will be so convincing that many will believe Catholicism to be that “evil” world religion instead. Putting to death Christians will become a justifiable “act of self-defence” in the name of “peace and security”.

Confusion will be present; all will be tested; but the faithful remnant will prevail

    1. So the devil wants us to get vaccinated? That guy used to be a lot more ambitious.

      1. The closure of bars has discriminated and caused suffering among Pastafarians all over the world.
Why does no one mention this? We celebrate the FSM a with abundant libations in public watering holes. This religious oppression must be stopped!

    2. Yes, our future is quite dire and depressing.

  9. The Hidden Danger: Digitalisation and Mind Control. “The Prerequisites For Total Dictatorship”
The Digitalisation Mania Robs Us of All Humanity and Degrades Us to Totally Supervised Robot Humans
    By Dr. Rudolf Hänsel

The following commentary draws attention to a wake-up call by the renowned medical doctor and brain researcher Prof. Karl Hecht. The title is: “Thoughts are free – but with global digitalisation it’s over”. It was published by “Klagemauer.TV”, or “Kla.TV” for short. The content is about a hitherto concealed operation in the war of the “super-rich” against the vast majority of humanity. The declared goal: the establishment of a New World Order.

Never before, says the 96-year-old expert, have
the technical prerequisites for a total dictatorship been as mature as they are today. In the age of digitalisation, he says, mind manipulation and thought control – especially through electromagnetic radio waves – have become ubiquitous reality. Only a conscious turning away from the ideology of digitalisation can save us from degrading into totally monitored robot humans. It is high time to stop this inhumane process and return to divine nature, because otherwise humanity will digitize itself away.

Elon Musk’s brain implant “Neuralink”, electromagnetic radio waves and 5G

Karl Hecht first talks about the beginnings of technical experiments in mind control in the 1950s and 1960s, which would be “old hat” from today’s perspective

He then moves on to talk about today’s digitalisation ideology, which generates great enthusiasm for this technology and promises a lot: prosperity, comfort, better schooling and even health and immortality. But in reality, digitalisation would bring total surveillance, make jobs disappear, make people sick and ultimately make them superfluous. Public opinion would be manipulated and in the end man would lose control over technology.

As an example, Professor Hecht mentions a recent invention by Elon Musk, one of those super-rich philanthropists and do-gooders. It is shocking news for him – and for all of us: Musk has invented a neuralink the size of a euro coin and is in the process of placing it on the skull with an incision through the scalp. This would create a connection or interface between the brain, this neuralink and a computer or mobile phone. According to Musk, this connection between brain and
computer is necessary for mankind to keep pace with artificial intelligence (AI). Electromagnetic radio waves and the installation of the 5G mobile phone standard, even in space, are indispensable for this.

    Stop the inhumane process!

So we are dealing with a technology that practically dehumanises the human being. The human being is being turned into a controllable machine, into a robot. This scientific truth must also be communicated to the youth and the inhumane process must be stopped!

The following quote by Galileo Galilei (1564 to 16429) is addressed in particular to the ruling gravediggers of nations and their servile and corrupt politicians and corporate media

“He who does not know the truth is but a fool. But he who knows it, and calls it a lie, is a criminal.”

To the indolent contemporaries, the words of an American scientist who is reported to have said, according to Professor Hecht, that only the little secrets could be kept secret. The big secrets would be kept secret by the incredulity of the people. They would believe the scientific truth less than the lies.

Yet we all have a great responsibility for what we leave to the next generation. But our generation does not care about the future. Actually, we should leave our children something better than we have received. But we don’t seem to care about that

  10. those who say “it’s human nature” seem to be shrugging and suggesting “.. so there’s nothing that can be done”. It’s like not putting guard rails on the side of a bridge – and if cars plunge over the side “it was fated” and “so there’s nothing that can be done to avoid fate.”

We are self aware. We don’t walk into brick walls because they happen to be in the direction we’re going in. We can modify our behaviour according to our circumstances. We don’t have to settle for being subdued into tragic inaction by tales of “fate” or “human nature” or “market forces”. That we are subdued into accepting destructive behaviour is a choice of those who can manipulate our collective consciousness. The same folks who act to disempower the masses by exporting industry overseas.

  11. Caitlin, your last paragraph brings to mind:
    .
Jesus said, “The Father’s kingdom is like a woman who was carrying a jar full of meal. While she was walking along a distant road, the handle of the jar broke and the meal spilled behind her along the road. She didn’t know it; she hadn’t noticed a problem. When she reached her house, she put the jar down and discovered that it was empty.”
    –Gospel of Thomas Saying 97

  12. It was not China that sold out generations of yet unborn United States of Americans to feed the military Industrial complex to the tune of nearly a trillion dollars a year. It was not China that bailed out the criminal bankers for trillions more dollars.
    ~
Nor is China responsible for the United States of Americas crumbling infrastructure, or its failing school system. The culprit is a corporate culture that believes the world is full of winners and losers, and to that system, if you are not an greedy corporatist, you are just a loser.

Someone who says it’s human nature to be selfish, competitive, predatory, exploitative, tyrannical, vicious, brutish and violent isn’t telling you about human nature, they’re telling you about their own nature. I look within myself and find none of those things, but if you tell me that’s what you find when you look within yourself, I believe you.”
    .
Human Nature is… the nature of humans. All humans. Not just the “nice” ones. No one person – or group of people — represents all of human nature. What does? All humans. All of the spectrum of human behaviors. Every human being that ever lived, or ever will.
    .
If you see any human being do something… that becomes an aspect of human nature. Not ALL humans. But of some. Or just one. A human being.
    .
Self-destructive behavioral patterns of many humans may not even be something they ever wanted (or ever recognize within themselves). But life circumstances, bad genes, bad upbringing, no upbringing, a spirit of destructive rebellion, selfishness… something drives that person to act in harmful ways. Harmful to society at large, and harmful to themselves.
    .
Human nature is not fixed in stone. Human nature can and does change. Individuals can and do change every single day. But we are always fighting against the less-than-desirable parts of ourselves that we might wish weren’t there but always are that chase us from behind like a wild animal of old running after us in the jungle. Is anyone ever freed from all their personal demons? From all sins? Is any human a perfected form that cannot improve or has no blemish?
    .
Some people are born physically challenged. Well, there’s billions of people on this earth that are MENTALLY challenged and exhibit that behavior the entirety of their lives. And they are just a much members of the human race as are the more saintly ones among us.
    .
“There are no human-generated problems that can’t be solved by truth.”
    .
There are countless people upon this earth that can and have been confronted by truth. And without fail, they immediately begin to run the other way from it. Truth is a most wonderful thing. But billions of people simply prefer delusions to truth. The evidence is all around us. Truth is offensive to them.
    .
Whether the world-at-large will ever value truth and empathy is an open question. What is not in question is that truth and empathy can and does save a single soul at a time walking through Minefield Earth who one day leaves their personal Dark Cave. One soul at a time. Whether anyone leaves their own Cave or not.

    1. Man is one thing, mankind another. People behavior changes in groups. Thus history tells us mankinds human nature overrides an individuals moral character. We often confuse the two.

  14. In a press release, Lincoln Project co-founder Galen Reed said, “Rupert Murdoch is a fundamental danger to American democracy. He’s made billions of dollars misleading Americans with fear, lies, and un-American propaganda. The continuous disinformation campaign he runs through his media empire has resulted in fundamental damage to American democracy. He’s chosen power and greed over the fundamentals of America.”

    1. Along with every other corporate media news source. Fox is just the token “conservative” unit of the CIA infiltrated Mockingbird Media.

  15. Khatika,

I see you make no difference between unofficial and official evil. Unofficial crimes land you in Court and jail. Official evil, (wars) however, promotes crime. The more evil you cause, the better your chances of recognition and promotion.

    Alberto

    1. Thus again we have individual evil vs group mentality or societal evil. Two different types but evil nontheless.

  16. The few sociopaths would not exist if it wasn’t for the gullible, ignorant, often stupid and almost always passive majority, who believe lies and more lies, who allow themselves to accept wars, displacement, homelessness, destruction of their families and homes as if it were all natural.

Whilst humanity goes on believing Armed Forces are necessary, politicians, or as you call them sociopaths, have no option other than abuse humanity, lie to them. This is how absurd / and I repeat ignorant, gullible and passive – humanity, accepts wars, poverty, homelessness, hunger.

I shall change my opinion of Humanity, the day they refuse to earn a living killing people legally (soldiers) and giving their life for the benefit of those sociopaths.

  17. Thanks for your goOd writing Catelynne. (I allwasy spell yer name wrongv ) This so needed to be said. As some other astute writter said, “mankind did not choose this wrong path. We were thrown down this wrong path.” ( the wrong path was in reference to a Hopi Indian rock carving diagram showing the wrong path taken ages ago. )

  18. No Virginia, man has a fallen nature and the evil in the world is due in part to human nature. I know you feel only good thoughts and are kind like most people. However when put in a bad situation like no food or shelter, you will find yourself becoming more predatory. That is just your fallen nature. Now there are some evil men in the world because evil is always present with the good. Greedy power hungry people who want more than others. Virginia, your best defense against this is to live a quiet and simple life avoiding much life has to offer. For much you percieve as good is often just evil in disguise.

Your comment is public, which means you wanted others to see it. And like a fell beast from the pit I have been summoned to take issue with your ham fisted criticism. Welcome to the internet.

  19. Yes, Cait, IF the problem is sociopathic.
But it isn’t. Our fearless leaders are psychopaths, not sociopaths. They don’t care who they hurt or what they destroy in pursuit of an agenda that most of us simply cannot comprehend.
A sociopath has at least some dim understanding that other people exist and have their own wants and needs, even if their ends make no allowance for that. Psychopaths have no conception that other people really exist, hence whatever they do doesn’t matter as long as their own psychopathic urges are satisfied.
This is why getting rid of them is not just a matter of a general uprising. The psychopaths in charge make sure that the governments and forces they control are bent towards increasing psychopathic control over the rest of humanity. Remove one psychopath and another takes their place. The system is geared towards producing a new crop of psychopaths in every generation. They compete, and the most capable psychopaths then take their place in the hierarchy.
Maybe I’ve just been around too long, but, like George Orwell, I see no way that they cycle can be broken except by an event that virtually exterminates humanity.

    1. Politician: One most adept getting the most people to believe the most preposterous lies the most often. Nearly always a sociopath if not a psychopath.

Indeed, not only do they not care one wit about your welfare except as it may coincide with theirs, their mental illness prevents them from caring. They do not possess normal human virtues. They have no concept of sympathy, remorse, empathy, guilt, charity, etc.

  20. Another problem is their enablers, though they do what they do out of stupidity rather than malice.

For instance, very very few would suggest that a guy who kidnaps, rapes a woman, and keeps her locked up for years is anything short of a monster wearing human flesh. Such a person tends to die in the early days of his imprisonment and no one cares, even if he was murdered by guards. But if that person is Thomas Jefferson, he’s considered to be a great man and is called a “founding father” with some degree of reverence.

Such enablers are the reason. Otherwise the psychopaths would have very limited influence.

    1. Sociopath, sychophant. Symbiotic relationship.

  21. Chris Hedges writes about the fine line between victim and abuser from his time in war zones, we all have the capacity for both, although possibly in different proportions with some at 100%. Perhaps Peter Joseph is on to something with systems engineering – there would be less stress and the accompanying maladies and psychotic behavior if basic and secondary needs are met. My neighbors are not psychopaths, they won’t normally murder each other, however, they might step over a starving, unhoused person on the sidewalk and think nothing of it. That said, most would approve of a system that removes that choice.

  22. Dont forget the truth about socialism.
Where some animals will be more equal than others.
Because humans will be humans no matter what “perfect” system is implemented.

    1. Socialism is a series of guidelines for building a more equal system. No system of government is contained therein, that has to be established by the people who build the system.

And like she said, when you say “humans will be humans”, it sounds a lot like you’re saying “I’d crap on you to get ahead, so all people are like that”.

      1. The Ten Commandments are also a good guideline but is followed about as well.

“‘The Law of God?’ Look at it, it’s a pack of lies from the lying pens of scribes.” – Jeremiah 8:8

      2. So the system of government for socialism is exactly the same as now. A small group of psychopaths who have assumed authority to kill you if you don’t go along. Without that assumption of authority no government is possible, except we govern ourselves. Government means control. If control is the desire, only the threat of violence can achieve it.

  23. Our evil empire continues its destructive behavior while the Russians and the Chinese continue to impress the rest of humanity with their ” no strings attached ” friendship and good will. The day will come when even the Israelis turn their backs on us and we will be totally alone to face our many years of genocidal behavior. Yes, ” justice ” will one day be coming.

    1. Israelis turn their backs on us? Hardly. To a large extent our behavior is fueled by the Israelis. Israel–better referred to as the Zionist Entity–is the tail that wags the American dog.

  24. But we are missing the point here. This is Sie Great Reset. This happens every so often, every couple of a hundred million years or so, where life goes extinct and then begins the process all over again of generating new dominant life forms. Isn’t that is what is meant by Sie Great Reset? If that is the case, what are we so worried about, we should be used to going extinct by now and starting all over again, as this will be the 7th time we have done so. No my friend, we are no smarter than the dinosaurs that preceded us and we should just accept our fate and go extinct like we have always gone extinct before. Accept this and then rest easy.

    1. Just a couple of million years say day or two to fudge the flux … I can remember the previous great reset just like yesterday …..

    2. So can I, why it was just like yesterday. You were that T-Rex that was always nipping at my heels, weren’t you.

  25. the sociopaths always project themselves onto others, as, deep down, they know they are rotten cowardly cretins and it’s hard to like with themselves unless they convince themselves that others are no better or any different. exhibit A: janet phalen and jerico right here in the comment section.

most human beings are no super heros, they are imperfect, but they have basic instincts that make them human different from animals. they understand right from wrong, and they will do the right things if the circumstances are such that they have real choices. i trust their collective intelligence infinitely more than any self-appointed geniuses telling otherwise.

The end of the world is near there is no other explanation for what we see.

  27. My goodness, this is the second mention I’ve encountered in the past 2 weeks of the Principia Discordia , of which I still have 2 copies, one of which I bought on a street corner in San Francisco in the late 70s. I wonder what has made this obscure and deeply strange little book start popping back into people’s consciences now?

  28. It’s possible that the participants had been propagandised by the mainstream narrative!

  29. I wish this were true. If humans are not essentially sociopathic or at least pathologically obedient to authority, how do you explain the results of Milgram experiments?

    1. It’s possible that the participants had been propagandised by the mainstream narrative!

      1. Typical answer from an obedient follower. It’s okay. You gotta have faith in something.

    2. Remarkable comment. Perfect point. But now you got an enemy. The author is never wrong here, you know. LOL

      1. Actually, Jericho, both you and I are being called names by a commenter. One might ponder the sociopathic propensities of someone who lashes out in such a manner, given the “black eye” that the Milgram experiments gave to humanity, or the self delusion that might impel someone to try to publicly shame those who aren’t a part of that delusion. Either way, the problem is that as long as we continue to ignore OUR complicity, OUR participation in this global nightmare, we lose.

        1. I suggest you do some more research. It’s by no means certain that Milgram was an honest experiment honestly reported, and other studies have refuted it. Without any attendant publicity of course, as if somebody wants us to believe we can be programmed so easily.

          1. If one looks at history, one sees the same dynamics at play. Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, and now the US of A. Disputing the authenticity of the Milgram experiments does not manage to nullify the devastating realities of history and its indictment of humanity. I actually think it is an unfortunate endeavor to attempt to posit the responsibility on “a few manipulative sociopaths.” This perspective removes responsibility when we most need to take responsibility and action. Sure, it’s “feel-good.” But that may not be the road to change.

              Paul Douglas Rackemann

This seems to me like the smartest comment I have seen for a while. I think this whole idea of psychopaths and sociopaths is just pop psychology. People do what they think they have to do in the situation in which they find themselves. What we as individuals without influence need to do as best we can is to understand what drives our rulers. And the best way to understand that is to read history, again, as best we can. The history that is taught to kids isn’t going to be real.

              1. History points to the future. That is why they are constantly changing it to reflect where they wish to take humanity.

        2. You must forgive them. They don’t have anywhere else to run. Internet research will never replace a solid research in books. The old fashioned way to study spending hours in a chair reading and taking notes from months to years is the real deal. You don’t have to say anything more. You did the strike. Let them scream, bleed and curse trying to diminish and offend you. It’s all what they got.
