Listen to a reading of this article:

1. There’s no getting around talking about this UFO stuff. The fact that it’s a story is itself a major story. There’s no point in trying to look cool by ignoring it, especially given its potentially huge implications in propaganda narratives and the expansion of the US war machine. Nothing with this much public interest that is also being pushed by the Washington political establishment, by military insiders and by the mass media in cooperation with the Pentagon is likely to go away anytime soon. The narrative needs to be engaged, and engaged critically.

2. At this point in time I find the notion that this steadily intensifying Pentagon narrative is unfolding by pure coincidence at the same time the US is ramping up cold war tensions with Russia and China amid a race to militarize space highly unlikely. Full spectrum dominance means full spectrum dominance, and military officials have doubtless been casting their eyes skyward thinking about how terribly un-dominated it is up there.

3. This guy put out a video a few days ago which looks to my unscientific mind like a fairly thorough dismantling of the Pentagon-verified “UFO” footage that the mass media has been pushing, as well as a well-deserved thrashing of the unscrupulous pundits who’ve been promoting it. Tucker Carlson deserves special mention for looking especially hysterical in the clips he appears in:

This one is more serious and technical with slightly different conclusions:

This doesn’t by itself invalidate other aspects of the story like the new radar “swarm” video or the pilot testimonies regarding the famous 2004 USS Nimitz “tic tac” encounters, but the fact that every object we’ve actually been shown can be explained by mundane and easily identified phenomena doesn’t say much for a story that was sparked in 2017 by “leaked” “UFO” videos. If random YouTubers can debunk them it’s also entirely possible that the Pentagon knew they were bunk.

4. We’ll know more about where this is all headed when the Senate report on these phenomena comes out, which supposedly could happen anytime this month. If it’s just a long-winded “Yeah there’s some stuff up there we haven’t identified, we should probably try to identify it,” then we might not have much to worry about; if it contains new and incendiary information then the odds of this thing being used to advance US military objectives go up dramatically. The more likely it is to get weapons and money moving in new directions, the more suspicious we should be.

5. Another reason to be highly skeptical of all this stuff is it’s one more of those conspiratorial narratives which doesn’t actually threaten real power structures in any way. Anything rich people find cool is going to have some degree of toxicity to it. You’re not going to get any paradigm-shattering revelations from an exploration that’s been spurred on by people like Harry Reid and Marco Rubio. Nobody’s shattering a paradigm which they serve and profit from.

6. If anyone starts talking about the possibility of extraterrestrials requiring military attention, they are lying. If there really is an epidemic of aircraft appearing in US airspace which really can’t be identified, and if they aren’t just advanced technology from some other country, and in the unlikely event that they are in fact extraterrestrial, then there’s literally no reason for the US military to have anything to do with them. If they’re not hostile then everyone should keep their weapons far away from them, and in the extremely unlikely event that they are hostile ETs then the US military would be of no more use against them than a kid with a flyswatter.

7. US news media would have every reason to feed into this stuff, and it is not in this case necessarily due to an explicit desire to promote military propaganda. Ratings have plummeted since Trump left office, and a UFO narrative that is being validated by “credible” sources like politicians and the Pentagon is an easy way to put a bump in that slump. UFOs are their new Trump.

8. When the US government and media are telling the public that the Pentagon has been studying UFOs and they’ve been hiding this for years, you don’t get to act like suggesting the possibility of a staged chemical weapons attack coverup is some kind of unspeakably outlandish conspiracy theory anymore. The tactic of shaming people into silence for valid concerns with the pejorative “conspiracy theorist” has been ended, by the very power establishment which likes to use it.

  1. Notwithstanding all this talk: if tomorrow morning Tony Abbot rocks up at my door and promises to stop the space-ships, I’ll vote for him!

  2. Why would anyone believe anything the US government and its agencies say, particularly after decades of denying it?

Never mind whether UFOs exist or not, the real question is what is the actual agenda behind this sudden change? Apart from the obvious one of using it as an excuse for some military change that will benefit a few, and likely harm many.

  3. Of course aliens exist.
The psychopaths who rule are alien to Love, Life and Truth.
Unfortunately, they look just like us.

  4. Word on the street is that Santa Claus , the Easter Bunny and the Sand Man is behind all this. By the way, I wasn’t going to mention it but the video experts that brought us the laser swords that Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker used, have now invented them for real, but not powerful enough to actually harm anyone. More importantly though they’ve learned how to do 3D images on the fly, so that if anyone were to ask and have the money to pay they could fill the skies over New York City with a huge fleet of giant UFOs , War of the Worlds all over again. LOL, funny as hell, but like M. Ehret said, “convenient tool to help people become a little more nuts than they already are.”

  5. One would hope that this recent discovery of hostile aliens will further convince the American people that the mainstream media are spaced out and even less credible than before.

  9. Just offhand, UFOs might qualify as a pretty inexpensive, noncommital and malleable smokescreen at a time when the scamdemic (which has killed at most 0,03% of the world population in a year while ruining millions and generating billions in profits for the top tier), although quite successfully goaded out of the public debate by deep state censorship, seems to be making a comeback with the Gatesepteingate and now the Faucigate.

  11. The only reason that any of this stuff is displayed to the general public from our government or our mainstream media is to bleed us for yet more money for weapons and anything related to weapons. Caitlin,
Taking up your implicit point that there is apt to be a military reason for all this, I would like to draw your attention to another issue which may possibly fall under the military’s attention in the near future.
I apologise in advance if this stuff bores a lot of people. At first glance, it is no doubt a lot duller than speculating about unknown races keeping an eye on us.
Not too long ago, some representative of the U.S. military, commenting on the huge expansion in the money supply in the U.S.A. in recent years, said that “this may have national security implications.” He was quite right: if you don’t have a functioning money system, the government can’t pay people, and you don’t have a functioning military. I think that our central bankers are reckless fools and that they are leading us gradually to disaster. What I find somewhat alarming is the idea that the military are likely to know better.
There isn’t much point in my trying here to give everyone an education in economics. I can simply suggest, to those who may want to learn about it, that what is called the Austrian School of economics is what you should learn from. Economics as taught in high schools and universities is an artful system of confusion and misdirection designed to make people believe that our present authorities know what they are doing. Economics began to be corrupted in the 1930s, as the authorities fought Communism. There was already a corrupt Establishment then, and they used lies to preserve their power then, as they do now.
That said, what I find alarming is that the military also tend to have a short-term expediency approach to things. If they take over from the bankers, as Erdogan is doing in Turkey, they are apt to make things worse, or make them deteriorate more quickly. They will be acting out of ignorance, and looking to shore thing up for the short term. They will no doubt keep the bankers employed, to do the intricate work that only experts understand, but they will issue orders on policy from on high, with no understanding of a lot of the implications of what they command. You can be pretty sure it won’t work. What it will do is to make the corruption and resulting social division even worse than it is now.
If they do that, they will really need some really scary flying saucers to keep us distracted.

    1. ..ime ‘the austrian school’ are ‘goldbugs’ when it comes to money…they talk of ‘returning’ to a gold/silver standard’….they don’t understand that THE SAME CLASS OF PLUTOCRATS who control ‘us’ now through hideous ‘fractional reserve deposit creation’ schemes, etc. legal privileges, using government bonds, etc., as ‘reserves’ WILL instead control ‘us’ using gold as reserves…like ‘they’ used to…

…please search ‘animas river/?gold king toxic mining waste spill’ and have a look at that catastrophe!…the result of a ?one hundred year old operation…with many many more in the wings…the idea that we must murder mother nature in order to increase the money supply is monstrously dense….

…’money is by man, not by nature’ …money is merely a number…if you want to learn much more check out ‘the alliance for just money’ (AFJM)…they understand the hideous monetary order under which we are effectively enslaved better than any group i can find…

      1. Paul Douglas Rackemann Avatar
        Paul Douglas Rackemann

        Dana,
I tried looking for the “Alliance for Just Money” on search engines. Duckduckgo provided some relevant results. From the look of it, the “alliance for just money” is a group of believers in a set of ideas from the 1930s, originated by an Englishman, C. H. Douglas. His ideas used to be called “Social Credit,” and his movement was able to elect members to parliamentary bodies in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
I know about this because my father was a believer in this set of ideas. I could never quite get them, and in studying economics in high school and university, I was able to see some of their mistakes. What I was taught by the education system didn’t quite make sense either, but I was lucky enough to learn about the Austrian School, which does make sense and is not corrupted like the system taught by the educators.
I have, frankly, always found Social Credit people pretty much impervious to reason, and unwilling to learn, so I won’t try to argue with you about this. I do suggest, however, that the toxicity of some gold mining is irrelevant to the argument, and that the idea that the same “class of plutocrats” would control us if we had sound money is simplistic. It is true that going to sound money wouldn’t in itself solve all of our problems. However, it would remove one element in our corruption.
I understand that it is something of a tradition in Latin America for a reforming government to issue a silver currency. This is a way of saying to the public, “It doesn’t matter what happens to us, or whether you believe in us. Whatever happens to us, you will have this sound money, and you can do business with it.” That is something that people appreciate when they are desperate enough, and when they have gone long enough under the thumb of corrupt and stupid governments. Napoleon did much the same in France in his day, which was one reason the French followed him for as long as they did. We haven’t yet reached quite the stage of desperation where we are ready to turn to sound money. It’s probably coming.

        1. …as a young libertarian party farm-hand i read much of the THEORIES promoted by ‘the austrian school’.. [i used to love murray rothbard]…

…unfortunately, they don’t understand the hideous REALITY that the value of money of ‘money’ is LARGELY a function of law and that people should be treated equally under the law…PARTICULARLY with respect to the issuance of all ‘newly-created’ money…

…’austrians’ will have us under the thumbs of the same plutocrats as now…plutocrats who will control/own the gold, the mines, the ‘fractional reserve privileges,’ the privilege of controlling money in ‘the first round of spending,’ etc. ad nauseam…

…i will end here as i have found that austrian schoolers [goldbugs] are a tough bunch to reason with…they certainly have more knowledge about economic THEORY than most but they don’t know squat about the nature of money, etc.,…they don’t talk in detail about ‘the issuance of money’…who, how, etc…

          1. Paul Douglas Rackemann Avatar
            Paul Douglas Rackemann

            Dana,
It’s nice to know that you have actually read something and that you are not just sounding off out of ignorance and sentimentality. I haven’t read Rothbard, but I have read Hayek and von Mises. I have heard an awful lot of praise of Rothbard, but I can’t comment myself on how clearly or accurately he may put things.
I don’t think you could say that Austrian don’t know anything about the issuance of money if you had read von Mises. I know that reform movements can go wrong: in Australia, some decades ago now, we had a sound-money libertarian group called the Progress Party (earlier called Workers’ Party), which led to the creation of a faction within the Liberal Party (analogous to your Republican Party) known as the “dries” (which I think was because Mrs. Thatcher called her bad Tories “wets”). Some reforms eventuated, but they were all at a corporate level, like the floating-off of State assets to oligarchs in Russia. The reform movement gradually dissolved, as I think Mrs. Thatcher’s reform movement in Britain did.
So I am not saying that sound money can cure our problems. We may be beyond help. Also, I note that Dr. Schacht stopped the great inflation in Germany (ended 1923) not by issuing a gold coinage, but simply by issuing a new currency and keeping the issue under control. Of course, Germany is a very disciplined community, so what worked there might not work in the English-speaking or Spanish-speaking world.

    2. The Austrian School is more kind of a religion without much relation to reality. I leave it there.

  16. “The US has already spent over $20 million examining these craft,” the first video repeats several times. That’s way less than 0.01% of its annual military budget – annual, not cumulative. Far less than 0.001% of US military spending this century. Which kind of sums up just how much of a threat they really think these things pose.

  20. “The fact that it’s a [controlled] story [of such manipulative magnitude] is itself a major story.” Virtually nothing (99%) happens in this place/on the world stage without it having been Star Chambered (even decades) ahead. This chapter is just another explicit example. Since (at least) 1947, the related subject was scripted, in sections and stages, for the lowly masses. The present deluge merely represents a targeted onslaught – decided for implementation, as the current Act. Katherine Graham: “There are some things the general public does not need to know, and shouldn’t [until we determine what outcome is desired].” What is left to be trusted? What we read? What we hear? WHY DANIEL ELLSBERG WANTS THE U.S. TO PROSECUTE HIM UNDER THE ESPIONAGE ACT
Ellsberg explains why he hopes the courts take on the law used to crack down on whistleblowers.
“The whole idea is to kill the bastards,” Gen. Thomas Power, commander of America’s nuclear forces from 1957 to 1963, once said about the use of atomic weapons. “At the end of the war, if there are two Americans and one Russian, we win.” The hold this nuclear lunacy had on the top of the U.S. government is terrifyingly illuminated in a top-secret study of U.S. war plans newly publicized by famed whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg. The document, produced by the RAND Corporation and copied by Ellsberg at the same time he exfiltrated the Pentagon Papers from RAND, examines the U.S. response to the 1958 Taiwan Strait Crisis. The study’s contents were first reported on May 22 by the New York Times.
The crisis, now completely forgotten, began when China attempted to seize several small islands off its coast from Taiwan. The study shows American generals enthusiastically planning for the use of nuclear weapons against China. It is not simply that the officials looked with equanimity on the possibility of killing millions; rather, many seemed frustrated that there were any delays forced upon them by the rest of the government… “You shouldn’t be confident that the current calculations are any less crazy,” Ellsberg said. His apprehension about the potential use of nuclear weapons is intimately linked to another of his key concerns: the Justice Department’s accelerating use of the 1917 Espionage Act to prosecute leakers. https://theintercept.com/2021/06/01/daniel-ellsberg-china-atomic-nuclear-weapons/
