You’re Not SUPPOSED To Trust The Government: Notes From The Edge Of The Narrative Matrix

Listen to a reading of this article:

I still can’t get over how brazen the Biden administration is being in just announcing that it’s their place to determine who should be banned from social media platforms and how little backlash there is against this.

Just imagine the outrage if Trump had done this. Seriously, imagine it. The Biden administration instructing the world’s largest social media platform who to censor is the biggest “Imagine if Trump had done that” moment so far.

They said we need internet censorship because of Russia.

They said we need internet censorship because of Covid.

They said we need internet censorship because of election security.

They said we need internet censorship because of the Capitol riot.

They said we need internet censorship because of domestic extremism.

Pretty sure they just want internet censorship.

The US government is without exception the single most corrupt and destructive force on this planet. It is the very last institution on earth who should be in charge of deciding what online content is true or false. Absolute dead last.

I trust the wisdom of the collective to sort out what’s true infinitely more than I trust the wisdom of the US government and Silicon Valley plutocrats to do it for us.

If people think their government is lying to them and trying to hurt them it is entirely the fault of the government and no one else.

You’re not supposed to trust the government, and governments aren’t supposed to act in a way that requires your trust. If you find yourself ruled by a secretive power structure which demands your blind faith in its righteousness, something has gone horribly wrong.

Perhaps the US could end domestic extremism by switching to governmental policies that don’t make everyone want to light the country on fire.

Funny how we all grew up watching movies about evil villains trying to take over the world and kill millions of people and those movies were all made in the nation that is that exact villain except the villain succeeded.

It’s fine to think all governments are bad, as long as you’re also aware that one of those governments is far, far more powerful and destructive than any of the others and that the behavior of other governments is often a defensive response to the aggressions of the worst one.

If your anti-state commentary doesn’t reflect this reality, then it can only ever benefit the agendas of the most powerful and murderous state on the planet. Just firing indiscriminate scattergun criticisms at all states equally only advances US imperialist propaganda agendas.

It seriously seems like half the time a black flag anarchy account shows up in my Twitter notifications it’s to promote US imperialist propaganda narratives against Syria, China, Russia etc, and it’s like yeah nice anarchy dude, being a pro bono propagandist for the worst government on earth.

Whenever the US empire rolls out a propaganda campaign against a disobedient government, it’s impossible to circulate narratives opposing that government without facilitating the US propaganda campaign, and therefore all the deadly agendas that campaign is designed to advance.

Before they launch missiles, they launch propaganda campaigns. Before they wage siege warfare, they wage narrative warfare. You are responsible for the narratives you choose to circulate in the world. You are responsible for choosing to participate in imperialist aggressions.

The US government is waging wars around the world, circling the planet with hundreds of military bases, ramping up nuclear standoffs and working to destroy any nation which disobeys it, so naturally the news media are urgently warning us about the horrible tyrannical government of Cuba.

The correct answer to “What should be done about Cuba’s problems?” is for the US to end the blockade. After that happens the correct answer to “What should be done about Cuba’s problems?” is “None of your fucking business.”

“I oppose the embargo, but the Cuban regime-”

But-but-but-shhhh. You shush your beautiful mouth. The US government has all the billionaire media outlets in the western world conducting propaganda for it. It doesn’t need your help. Just oppose the embargo.

“The embargo isn’t why Cuba is poor! It’s poor because of communism!”

Okay well if it makes no difference can you please end the embargo?

“No.”

“Cuba claims it can care for all its people using socialism, yet it experiences poverty when we deliberately impoverish it. Checkmate, commies.”

“You think communism is so great? Then why are people fleeing communist countries to live in imperialist nations that became wealthy by generations of mass-scale theft and murder, huh?”

Saying your economic model is superior to a socialist nation’s because you were able to use economic warfare to impoverish that nation is like saying your moral philosophy is better than your neighbor’s because you beat the shit out of him.

There’s no good reason to let the push for a US military intervention in Cuba turn into an ideological debate about socialism versus capitalism when the far stronger argument to be made is that US interventionism is literally always disastrous and literally never helpful.

Imagine how pants-on-head fucking stupid you’d have to be to look at the history of US regime change invasions and then think that would be a wonderful thing for the people of Cuba.

The answer is never, ever, ever, ever US military intervention. Ever. It’s ALWAYS the wrong tool for solving ANY problem. You’re never going to make things better using something that literally always makes things worse. Amazing this even needs to be said.

The empire’s goal is to fracture and neuter the left and carve away class analysis and anti-imperialism from whatever remains until we’re nothing but tiny groups of irrelevant assholes arguing about how hard you should punch a TERF.

The ultimate factor in determining what will happen in our world is not control of capital, nor control of government, nor control of resources, nor control of weapons, but control of narrative. See this and you see why governments, plutocrats and media behave the way they do.

And, in the end, it turned out that killing the ecosystem was easier than taking away rich people’s rocket money.

Political discussion forums are like a couple bickering about dishes in the sink while trapped in the bedroom of a burning house. Everything is headed for collapse — the ecosystem, capitalism, the US empire — assuming we don’t all wipe ourselves out in a nuclear war first.

It’s so easy to get lost in the bickering and bullshit. I know I do from time to time. But it just looks so insane when you take a step back and look at the minute nature of the arguments we’re having compared to the multiple massive existential crises looming on our horizon.

You’d think this would bring us all together, but instead we’re being driven further apart than ever before. Truly, if ever there was an adapt-or-die moment for a species, this is it. We are being asked if we want to wake up and become conscious, or go extinct. That is the issue we should all be looking at, and we should be looking at it together.

  • we ARE supposed to trust the government, since we stole the election and kicked Trump out of government. Trump is Satan. Under that orange wig, are the numbers 666. i am STILL calling for all Demoncratic-Socialists to assault anyone you supports Trump or supports the Constitution.

defund the LOCAL police! replace all cops with the CPP, Capital Pelosi Police !!!

  • The fundamental problem lies in the fact that most “ordinary” people basically worship rape and violence, which so-called “authority” incarnates (“do what I tell you to do, because I tell you to do so, or else…”), and will do anything to rationalize the cognitive dissonance and potential conflicts away.

Which is why even though they might blather endlessly about this or that politician, or this or that cause, at the end of the day, they keep convince themselves that they are powerless, stay sitting on their ass all day, and sell out their own children for a pension check and a pat on the head.

But then again, this is no different than how people worshiped the old, self-proclaimed “god” kings.

Without the idiot, suicidal masses to protect them, the wannabe-intellectual, pseudo-elite “intelligentsia” would be no different than the homeless prophets of whatever apocalypse of the day yelling at clouds on the corner of the street.

  • Here is the most succinct statement I’ve seen so far on this issue:
Mark E. Jeftovic: Anything That Is Not Censored Is A Lie
I’m a bit amazed at how well that covers this whole issue.
    ~
I’m a bit stunned that people say “I don’t trust them on this and that, but I trust them on the vaccines”. Really? Billions of dollars of corporate profits are at stake, and you trust them? Year after year we learn that the narratives of 10 years ago were lies, but you believe that a miracle occurred, and this year they aren’t lying to us?
    ~
The covid issues are so murky that mere incompetence can’t explain all of it:
America’s Frontline Doctors File Federal Lawsuit to Curtail Emergency Use of Covid Vaccines
    http://www.unz.com/proberts/americas-frontline-doctors-file-federal-lawsuit-to-curtail-emergency-use-of-covid-vaccines/
Part of the significance in this action is that filing lawsuits based on false information sets you up for huge problems. So in an environment of lies and counter lies, I’m inclined to believe the data in a lawsuit is more reliable, when filed by citizen opposition groups.
    – Corporations have the budget to cover their defense after perjuring themselves.
    – If a citizen opposition group perjured themselves, while attacking a corporate supported agenda in court, they would be hung out to dry.
    – So I’m inclined to believe this lawsuit is based on pretty solid evidence.

  • Caitlin, I agree with you about US foreign policy, but not about everything the government says. I trust it regarding the Covid vaccines, for instance, and other safeguards like seatbelts and laws restricting corporate power. I also believe that blanket disbelief in all government policy fuels anti-vaxxers and confederate patriots. I know you can’t say everything in one column, but skepticism of government pronouncements is what is needed, not knee-jerk rejection, don’t you think?

    • I kind of feel sorry for you Neal. The sad thing is i have close family members and know many people just like you. I hate to say it but the 10’s of million Neals out there are the buffer that keeps the bad guys safe.

Maybe you can start by having a little sympathy for Trump, He like you was not able to see through the facade put up by truly evil people to gain his approval. He hired quite a few of them.

    • Words of wisdom, Neal. Skepticism is warranted but not knee-jerk rejection. Reaching back, in memory, the first government pronouncement that I recall being skeptical about was the Gulf of Tonkin incident/resolution. But that didn’t lead to rejection of the interstate highway system nor to the Coast Guard’s rescue of stranded ships, to name two governmental functions.

    • You’re either an idiot, or a shill. Or perhaps both. Either way, I think we can safely say you and the people like you are, ultimately, the problem.

Sure, government lies about freaking everything, but not *these* things, clearly when it comes to whatever moronic pet issue you have, the totalitarian, murderous government only has your best interests at heart.

But of course, it’s “anti-vaxxers” (also called “skeptics”, you idiot) and “confederate patriots” (lolwut, what century are you living in?) who are the problem. Sure, buddy. You keep telling yourself that.

  • I was thinking a different version of the same thing. ‘The govt has to earn our trust, not break the windows and burn down the shops of all their competitors’.

The fact that the govt believes it has to silence others reveals a lack of confidence in their position. On this issue, I believe they are correct. The reason they want to silence others is that they are so used to hiding evil secrets that they reflexively dig shallow graves in the backyard. They forget to lookup and say, gee, we don’t need the shovels this time.

  • I continue to hold out some hope that our coming (non-Cuban expat) Hispanic majority will turn the culture in the USA towards more humane policy. Perhaps it is a vain hope, but it is the only hope I see as a possible antidote to the continued ruthless empire.

  • I saw a lot of people cheering Caitlin on. I didn’t see any discussion about what ordinary people can start doing to address these horrible problems.
    Why is this?
    ~
I don’t see discussion like this anywhere. When I make simple pragmatic suggestions, they just disappear into a black hole.
I don’t understand why there is no interest in taking action to put the fire out.
    ~
Western civilization is like a herd of lemmings running towards a cliff.
Except in our case, the lemmings can talk, and they say “yep, we’re still running towards the cliff”. And then they keep running towards the cliff.
I really don’t understand why there isn’t any interest in taking action to steer the herd of lemmings away from the cliff.
Some individual lemmings even acknowledge they are running towards a cliff. And then they keep running towards the cliff.
    ~
I did see a really great suggestion about infrastructure – shortwave radios for listening.
Thanks a lot, this is a brand new idea for me.
If the internet becomes totally strangled, then there will be heroic techies running pirate radio stations, and IF you have a shortwave radio, then you can listen to these radio stations and get some alternative news, which wasn’t produced by the empire.

    • There are always a lot of people cheering on Caitlin. Why, because she says things like, “You’re not supposed to trust the government, and governments aren’t supposed to act in a way that requires your trust. If you find yourself ruled by a secretive power structure which demands your blind faith in its righteousness, something has gone horribly wrong. “ Something that should be evident to all but nobody seems to say.

That being said here is the dilemma,

      1. She is honest and sincere enough to call out the ‘Liberal’ power structure, “Just imagine the outrage if Trump had done this. Seriously, imagine it.”
      2. She understands what is at stake and puts it front and center, “Truly, if ever there was an adapt-or-die moment for a species, this is it. We are being asked if we want to wake up and become conscious, or go extinct. That is the issue we should all be looking at, and we should be looking at it together.”
      3. She understands how they work, “Before they launch missiles, they launch propaganda campaigns”
      4. She has a ‘Historical’ viewpoint which I always seem to find necessary. Yet somehow often lacking. “Imagine how pants-on-head fucking stupid you’d have to be to look at the history of US regime change invasions and then think that would be a wonderful thing for the people of Cuba.”
5 She understands the barriers and constraints to our resolving issues, “Political discussion forums are like a couple bickering about dishes in the sink while trapped in the bedroom of a burning house.”
      6. She even says things like, “We have to change our relationship with thought”, Which drives me crazy because she is right yet at the same time is wrong (in my mind/opinion) in her application of ‘thought’.

      So The dilemma?

      1. Yes she has a cult like following, rightly so. Yet as you pointed out, solutions are lacking, They are there, just lacking. Also some seem to believe Caitlin is the “ solution”. This is not a put down, look at any forum and you see the ‘activist’ rallying around the ‘journalist’ as a last refuge. Not a solution though.
      2. Caitlin takes, “We have to change our relationship with thought” to be some type of global ‘Consciousness’. Yes global Consciousness can change but in my mind it is not ‘The Change’ it is the cart. So what is the ‘horse’?
3 Caitlin is idealistic about socialism, which in my mind and with my perspective is a dead issue. Yes, I will say, “It will never work” and I can tell you why and I have here multiple times. Posting here though is a work of futility though and really never seems to bear fruit. So I do not do so much anymore.
      4. Caitlin for all her great writing is not very responsive. After I think years hoping she would reply to my post she only finally did so when she go mad at something someone said about socialism, Salty Bastard if you are listening I feel like I let you and I both down. Sometimes the whirlwind throws me off balance.

So here is a link to what I see as the ‘Solution’ I have posted it here many, many times. Many are probably sick of seeing it. I have at times had a good response or two, all in all though I don’t believe it has been given the consideration it should have. I guess that is up to the reader though.

      https://medium.com/@whmilk/here-is-a-book-i-have-placed-on-amazon-and-smashwords-e864cc0e2c60

I would hope that Caitlin or anyone for that matter, would at least show reasons why they believe it is a failed solution. I really do believe in it, as strongly as anyone believes in anything. This is not for ‘me’. Also the way I view it, this is the ‘socialism’ the socialist want, It also is the liberty and individuality the conservatives want. It is both in one, thing about that. It neuters the ‘narratives’ of the bad guys and puts the ‘power’ in the hands of ‘the people’ . That is what I think anyway. Now you see the dilemma. The answer, to Caitlin’s questions to our questions are right here. Yet not one seems to be able to see them. That is at least what, ‘I think’ Please show me where I am wrong.

      • One of the worst fatal flaws in the euroamerican culture is the tendency to argue about ideology and to avoid listening to find out what is actually happening in the world.
This is the best starting point for listening I’ve found so far:
        https://ombudsfac.unm.edu/Article_Summaries/Listening_with_Your_Heart.pdf
There is more on listening in the book this page is summarized from.
I mention this because I do listening and am not interested in arguing.

        ~
Your post had some of negative observations, and I didn’t see any explanations of what those observations had to do with the lack of discussion about taking action.
        – Its like saying there isn’t any discussion about taking action because of gravity, and not saying how gravity discourages discussion.

        ~
You seem to misunderstand Caitlin’s worldview.
        – Explaining different worldviews is really hard to do, and its a bit like a bird trying to explain flying thru the air to a fish – the frames of reference are so different, and the life experiences are so different, that it makes it difficult to see and understand that different frame of reference.
        – Applying the listening practices in the PDF above might help you better understand the worldview Caitlin is trying to teach people about.

        ~
I took at look at the book you mentioned, and it seems too full of abstractions to be useful in the real world. In addition there were a number of false assumptions, and it seemed disconnected from real life. In particular, I didn’t see any path from here to the ideal you described. There seemed to be too much focus on the intellect, and too little focus on the other capabilities of the mind. The whole area of encouraging and motivating people to support and participate in the change was missing. In some way it seemed to discourage people from doing that. Your reply to Neal had a similar tone of discouragement.

        ~
Its hard for me to describe my sense of your writing. Its a bit like you are talking around things, without ever directly addressing them. Also, the subsections of the book didn’t seem to connect together. I think the question of improving your writing is way beyond the scope of a forum like this. Have you considered participating in a writer’s circle, where people exchange writing and comment on it?

    • While thinking about my questions and what Caitlin said, I had a eureka moment.

      > The question “Which form of government is best?” is a red herring!
      – If they aren’t effectively opposed, the sociopaths will corrupt any form of government ever devised, and then feed off of it.
      – With creative workarounds, and effective opposition to the sociopaths, any form of government can be made to work in meeting the needs of the citizens.
      – If Russia and China can make progress on regaining control of their governments from the sociopaths, then the Anglosphere can do this too.

      ~
This realization makes life much simpler. Now all that is needed to be done is to:
      – Mobilize effective opposition to the billionaires.
      – Whatever form of government you have, focus on the pragmatic actions needed to improve its effectiveness as government.
      – An example of a pragmatic step would be for a community to gain local control of their local police.

      ~
I think “narrative war” is more accurate than “control of the narrative”.
      – This framing is important because it has a direct impact on the efforts to effectively oppose the sociopaths working to co-opt our government.
      – Very rarely does any power block have 100% control of the narrative, and on some level there is always a ongoing war for narrative dominance.
      – Its true that in the Anglosphere and Europe the billionaires dominate the government narrative and this dominates the MSM.
      – If you look at the details, they are struggling to maintain this dominance, and like in a wrestling match, keep changing the narrative in an effort to better resist the latest maneuvers of the opposition narrative.
      – There are many millions of people supporting the opposition narratives.
      – Whenever an opposition narrative gains dominance, the billionaires never quit trying to regain dominance of the narrative.
      – Whenever people give up fighting the narrative war, ownership of their body, mind, and soul defaults to the billionaires.
      – Even under extreme dictatorships there is always an underground continuing to fight the narrative war, and sometimes this effort plants the seeds of opposition that ends that dictatorship.
      – So it seems to me that “narrative war” is a better description of the reality of the perpetual struggle between the elites and ordinary people.
      – An advantage of this framing is that it more accurately sets expectations – if you want freedom and well-being, then your only option is to perpetually fight the narrative war.

      ~
An example of the struggle to control the narrative is that for a long time the official narrative was that covid was a natural virus, and people saying it was engineered were demonized, discredited, and marginalized.
      – Then support for the narrative that covid was a biowarfare attack, which went off course, started gaining too much support.
      – So the MSM narrative did a complete flip-flop, and now the same mouthpieces, who were insisting covid was natural, are now insisting it was a lab leak, and of course they are blaming the leak on a Chinese lab.
      http://www.unz.com/runz/american-pravda-the-covid-epidemic-as-lab-leak-or-biowarfare/

  • I love your epigrams and I think some of these are among your best 🙂 If I appropriate them I will make a reasonable effort to give you attribution when I remember…Ti

  • This was clairvoyant of Frank:
“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to
continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive
to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they
will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of
the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

    ― Frank Zappa

  • The US is not going to ‘intervene’ in Cuba.
Anyone who believs otherwise is not paying attention.
Also, the US did not magically and mysteriously whip up a bunch of protests in Havana. That is also nonsense.
Cubans very very well may be exactly as fed up with their rulers’ bullshit as everyone else is (regardless of the fact that the US government and the Cuban government have been playing ‘good cop bad cop’ for fifty !#$@*ng years or so).
When we all decide to gently but firmly pull our collective heads out of our collective a$$es, things will start making more sense.

  • I have said this in other fora; I will say it again: keep short wave (listening/amateur) on your media menu because a) it has an often erratic but very long reach (w/o relay) and b) because it has no packet addresses to tell the Tonton Mécoutes who is listening to what heresies.

  • No mention of Israel? Afraid of being “labeled”?

  • Whenever I wake up the very first thought that always goes through my mind is; ” the idiots have not blown the world up yet “! I thank the Heavens for that; and then I get up!

    Ms Johnstone this is priceless:
Political discussion forums are like a couple bickering about dishes in the sink while trapped in the bedroom of a burning house.

  • “We are being asked if we want to wake up and become conscious, or go extinct.”
    .
We may be asked, but many of us aren’t even hearing that question. We are too busy being transfixed and bedeviled by looking at the small box welded to our hands that we worship with our thoughts, words, and deeds. We are too busy trying to be Woke-enough and politically and socially and chosen-peer-tribe correct in all things so we don’t dare step out from between the lines. We ignore the beauty and mysteries and joys that surround us because we choose to be weighed down with guilt and shame and the desire to belittle others including ourselves. And most of all… to FIT IN.
    .
The future of our race as a living species hangs in the balance. And few can rise to the question because no one cares to hear the question in the first place.
    .
It’s gonna be hard to ‘wake up’. It’s gonna be harder to ‘become conscious’. But it might be very easy to go extinct.

  • Ms. Johnstone: What you write is very valuable. You have said the same thing many times in different and refreshing ways, but it is always welcome to have one again stiffen one’s resolve not to be drawn in by the propaganda and get into fights with people who essentially agree with you about the main thing.

  • Indeed what’s surprising is not that the Biden administration tries to shape what we think because the natural bent of power is power abuse. Whenever any government makes a move toward more justice and harmony, it’s only because the lawmakers meet with pitchforks whenever they leave their cozy lawmaking environments.
It’s a not so well known physical law that pitchforks stimulate the brain. They make people think twice or again or even fast depending on the context.
What’s surprising in this case is the lack of pitchforks to push back against this egregious infringement on people’s freedoms, especially in a country that styles itself as the leader of the free world!
This brings about a question: how is this even possible? Which brings about another question: is this even natural?
Of course you can say “Well people are just dumb and apathetic and that’s the end of that.” Panem et circenses, that’s all they’ve ever been interested in. The old generationists will tell you it’s the snowflakes’ fault while the young generationists will tell you it’s the boomers’ and everybody will go back to sleep.
Maybe… Then again, imagine you were the deep state. Let’s say one of a dozen of top dogs carrying in a bundle all the thoughts of your average imperialist think tanks (CFR, Trilateral, NED, USAID…)
No it’s not difficult. In a nutshell, this thought bundle is made of:
1/ I want to screw them all
2/ I want to screw them all
    3/ Yes you too!
Fits in one hand. What would you do? First, you’d try to control the narrative. At the first opportunity, you’d ask president Bill “I didn’t have sex with that woman” Clinton – perhaps under duress considering the Epstein link and the painting of Clinton in a blue dress in Epstein’s flat, which is not exactly what you’d call the best of tastes if the guy was really a friend – to sign the Telecommunications Act of 1996 which eventually, according to Howard Zinn, enabled the handful of corporations dominating the airwaves to expand their power further”, with mergers ensuring a “tighter control of information”, which Eduardo Galeano delivered with a gift ribbon: “Never have so many been held incommunicado by so few.”
All the TV channels ended up de facto under the control of the six Hollywood studios which have long been hand in glove with the CIA and the Pentagon.
Everybody knows that CIA spooks are part and parcel of TV staff. Now the CIA – which is essentially the deep state, having been founded by Wall Street bankers and their lawyers to serve their interests – has done a lot of research on mind-control for over half a century. Imagine they found a way to stuff TV programs with subliminal stimuli framing the viewers’ minds into thinking that Big Brother’s only concern is to make them happy and safe and that censorship of all those deplorables out there – who don’t even watch TV and are therefore loose cannons on the Devil’s payroll, aka Charlie, Adolf or Benito, depending on the perspective of each of these middle of the roaders – is part of that humanitarian program meant to save the planet, their souls and that of their children down to the twenty-sixth generation.
Wouldn’t that go a long way into explaining this unusual lack of pushback against social media censorship or abusive vaccination?
Spoiler alert: this is a conspiracy theory – contrary to the CIA’s election meddling Russian bots, pee tape and other Russiagate highlights :o)

    • Pascal: …”What’s surprising in this case is the lack of pitchforks to push back against this egregious infringement on people’s freedoms, especially in a country that styles itself as the leader of the free world!”
The Second Amendment is/was supposed to offer those pitchforks, but the sheer volume and relatively high quality of reich’s propaganda has passivated[sic] the déplorables. However – one senses that the oligarchies’ little helpers (academy, MSM, enforcers) are running out of fingers to plug the narrative dikes. In their apparent desperation, our loving $hepherds ($hoving Leopards) are making (educational) mistakes!

  • “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be. The functionaries of every government have propensities to command at will the liberty and property of their constituents. There is no safe deposit for these but with the people themselves; nor can they be safe with them without information. Where the press is free … all is safe.”

Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Colonel Charles Yancey, January 6, 1816

Meanwhile, not a day goes by when the alleged Homo sapiens doesn’t strike me as more insane than the day before. This is evidently from last month on how we treat resources on this pale blue dot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t18cfqMbTw&t=364s (9 min., I could only watch half).

We are well into what I call the Endoscene, and still people fight harder and harder for more gold bars on the sinking Global Titanic.

    • Hello Daniel! I was so pleasantly surprised to see your name in the comment section here. I wondered where you went from OpEdNews. I gave up on that site as well. If you had to land anywhere, this site was an excellent choice.

“Meanwhile, not a day goes by when the alleged Homo sapiens doesn’t strike me as more insane than the day before. ” Couldn’t agree more.
I did watch the video. The “Endoscene”, indeed. Not really sure what that means, but it sounds right.

      Hope you are well.

  • Americans need to push back on this non-stop slide into fascism, because the alternative, China, is worse than anything we could ever imagine having control of the world, absolute authoritarian rule.

In China there is no dissent against internet censorship, because they still remember Tiananmen Square, and there has always been de facto Internet censorship in China in the first place, so there is no Internet freedom to lose.

As always it will be we the people that will to usher in the change necessary to restore our environments and the places in which we live.

People must realize that they are letting their governments rule them and act out atrocity in their names. It will be up to them to hold their government to account.

Government should be created through the rule of law that ensures that the welfare of the people are the prime responsibility of government. Once those the rule of law becomes corrupted the will of the people has become subsumed.

Perhaps the US could employ a policy like China where anyone that questions the prerogatives of the government can be sent back to school where they are taught to see their government as the benefactor of mankind.

Maybe those cartoons like Pinky and the Brain were designed to get us to accept megalomania as a normal personality trait, and kind of comical at that.

China is actually far far more powerful than the United States, economically and soon militarily, it is just that the entire world hasn’t come to realize that yet. China has for the most part only reeked destruction on their own country in the drive to extract rare minerals from their countryside in order to supply the world with iPhones and Androids. Once the United States is out of the way, you can bet that China will pick up where the United States left off in order to protect their newly acquired global empire.

You ant-state commentaries needs to reflect all the realities on the ground or you are just eliminating one injustice only to have a more draconian injustice rise in it’s place. You need to get people in each country to realize that fascist, authoritarian, dictatorial rule in any country can grow to become fascist authoritarian rule throughout the world.

The reason that we lament the fall of the United States into authoritarian, fascist rule is because we once saw that country as the beacon of hope for the world. We don’t waste out time on China because it has always been an authoritarian fascist state.

China has a level of control over the narrative in China that the United States is only now starting to gain ground on. China’s goal to dominate AI is forcing the United States to adopt a similar posture which is leading both countries to have a level of psychological control over their people than previous fascists regimes could only dream of.

Before China takes over a country economically, they soften it up with targeted AI propaganda. Wonder if missiles will be fired when they take over Taiwan.

The United States had surrounded the world with military bases and used those bases to impose it’s policies on unwilling countries. China has a better plan, just buy the world, less costly. China’s plan is that the people in countries that it controls will be able to enjoy certain aspects of citizenship, but only mainland Chinese citizens will be able to enjoy full citizenship.

China is not a communist country, Cuba is. The United States embraces draconian capitalism which will never tolerate communism.

We have to remember that Cuba had a battery of nuclear armed missiles pointed at the United States and that the blockade was originally a response to that threat. Cuba should have resumed normal relations with the United States decades ago, again draconian capitalism will not tolerate that.

If Cuba’s form of government proves to be superior to that of the United Stated, and the people of Cuba end up living better, it should be allowed to flourish so that other governments around the world can learn from them.

The billionaire class should have never been allowed to rise in the United States. Now that they are there, it is hard to imagine what can be done about it. Hard to say how that group benefits from the embargo, as they lose potential revenue from the embargo being in place.

People flee China because it is an authoritarian dictatorship that does not recognize the rights of the people. People fleeing China to the United States end up here and suddenly realize that they have no more rights here than they had in China.

China’s economic model is superior to that of the United States because the people there are expected to adhere to the 996 work policy, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM 6 days a week. This is a grueling pace and something only younger workers can handle. See: https://www.xinergy.global/work-culture-in-china/. This reminds me that I have to embrace the 996 work policy if I want to remain competitive.

Capitalism is destroying the world. So Karl Marx was right when he observed that the capitalist factory was putting the craftsman out of work. More than that, however, the factory is destroying the ecosystem of the planet. Will global socialism save us, I don’t think replacing one global system with another global system will help much.

We only need to look at Iraq to see that U.S. Regine change policy has failed dramatically and cataclysmically. Iraq one had a thriving middle class before the invasion in 2003, now it is just impoverished rubble. As bad as Saddam Hussein was, he did a better job at managing Iraq than the United States.

Militarism should always be the measure of last resort. In the United States, however, it has become the only tool in the box. It is because the United States has lost it’s economic, manufacturing capability and all that has left is it’s guns.

I don’t think the empire has any other goal than to make more money at all cost.

Deep learning AI neural networks will progressively control more and more of the narrative. The narrative will become completely depersonalized. China understands this very well and is working to become dominant in this area.

Since we are defined by the ecosystem, killing the ecosystem is the same as killing us. So we can translate “killing the ecosystem was easier than taking away rich people’s rocket money, into killing us was easier than taking away rich people’s rocket money. In other words, we are being sacrificed so the rich can pound their chest when the first astronauts touch down on Mars a decade or so from now.

    • “Cuba had a battery of nuclear armed missiles pointed at the United States and that the blockade was originally a response to that threat”

You carefully omitted that the USA already had batteries and batteries of nuclear bombs and missiles they could aim wherever they chose, and had been behind a failed invasion of Cuba just a year earlier.
      ~
“We only need to look at Iraq to see that U.S. Regine change policy has failed dramatically and cataclysmically.”
Has it? Or was chaos and destruction the real aim from the beginning? US and US-backed interventions in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and Yemen have brought much the same results; it’s hard to believe it’s not the policy.

    • As far I can remember, America is beacon of hope for the world in Hollywood movies. In the real world, it’s a beacon of despair if you are not aligned with their agenda. I still surprised the empire is not making directly censorship on Caitlin content. It’s one straight punch after another where it hurts.David Icke was banned from social media for his statements about vaccines and the White House Squad was quickly to act.

      • I met a woman that immigrated from Korea who said she immigrated to the United States because she thought the United States was like this great Disney Land. I have met others that said that they saw the United States as a country where their rights would be respected.
        .
So all I am saying here was that there was the perception that the United States was the beacon of hope for the world. What people were hoping for is that democracy was actually practiced in the United States, because where they came from, it wasn’t practiced at all, this include a lot of people from China.

    • You’d better do some research about Tiananmen because everybody a bit serious has known for several years, thanks to Wikileaks, that the version we got was a CIA psyop and no student was killed:
      https://www.rt.com/op-ed/163872-china-tiananmen-square-june4/
There were fights elsewhere in Beijing between workers (and agent provocateurs) and soldiers (some of whom were burnt alive by the former) but that’s another (untold) story.
As for the famous Tank Man, that encounter happened on the following day, June 5, and had nothing to do with what we were told:

      • I am basing my information that I got from people that lived there at the time. I am sure that the CIA fanned the flames as vigorously as they could, however they were suppressed by the President of the United States himself.
        .
Tienanmen Square was more than Tienanmen Square, it involved most of China. The Chinese people rose up and demanded that their rights be respected.
        .
What should be noted here is that at the time of Tienanmen Square Prescott Sheldon Bush Jr. and George H.W. Bush were negotiating with Deng Xiaoping and Zhu Rongji to open up China for American manufacturing.
        .
It was George H.W. Bush that did whatever he could to suppress the coverage of the Tienanmen Square massacre in the United States.
        .
Xi Jinping gave this tribute for George H.W. Bush on his passing in 2018: Xi said that he was “greatly saddened” by the late president’s passing, describing him as “someone who made important contributions to the China-US friendship and relationship during his lifetime.”
        .
        https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/01/asia/george-h-w-bush-china-intl/index.html
        .
        https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/09usofficials/2009-05/31/content_7956346_2.htm
        .
Both U.S. and Chinese leadership worked together to make China and manufacturing capital of the world.

      • Unfortunately you provided a dead link. Just invoking Wikileaks without providing a valid link to the narrative isn’t very helpful.

  • Beware so-called anarchists. Most of them know nothing about anarchism, they just want to do whatever the fuck they want with no consequences. Whereas in actuality, anarchism is extremely demanding: you must have an intense sense of personal res pponsibility for your own behavior, an intense sense of personal responsibility toward all others.

What kind of world do we live in where scum dresses up in all black, hide its face, and engages in violence against women and protesters? At least they used to be halfway honest and call themselves black-shirted fascists.

    • It’s very true what you said. I have listened to some self proclaimed anarchists. You start just asking how far they know about anarchism and the answer is plain and simple: “Dude, first thing wrong about anarchism is: we don’t discuss about anarchism. Anarchism is what it is”. And I’m trying to push a little bit more, “yes, but do tell me, please, why we don’t need to discuss anarchism?” then the anarchist is gone and furious.

      • Often, people who call themselves anarchists are in fact autocrats. They don’t want anybody to give them orders. But they don’t mind giving orders to others.

  • We need a solution to the Afghanistan withdrawal. I propose we begin by bombing the absolute shit outta some defenseless little brown people, somewhere near Israel.

    That always works.

  • America is like two psychopathic parents getting their kids to go rob and kill children in other neighborhoods. After awhile, it becomes the family business, and the only thing that the psycho-kids see wrong with it is that their parents are no longer giving them their fair share of the loot.

  • I was reading a Matt Tabbi article the other day illustrating the concept of bickering over the dishes in the burning house as woke culture reframed as what was called successor ideology. Its a basic bureaucratic mechanism where to justify funding for a non profit dedicated to addressing some social need, there is a pressure on identifying the next frontlines so to speak and agitating people in that direction with ever changing lexicon, talking points, pop up redlines etc. It taps into American cultural values highly shaped by decades of media which drive people toward extremes as a way to be noticed by causing a reaction. Plus as a competition for a fixed pool of donation dollars, its easy to see how the house on fire issues are minimized and the extremely dishearteningly and extraordinarily ironic divide and conquer mentality has fully appropriated the initial instincts that drive people towards such social work.
Part of it is people see this as the one area where you can be funded to do the work that makes you feel good about your contribution to the country, so its easy to miss the cumulative effect of rapture like alienation among the people not privy to the daily memos of talking points among the elite awoke professional class. And what works better for the oligarchy than the working class being totally alienated, driven into a somehow more welcoming Republican party which somehow managed to significantly increase support for Trump (in general and notably among minorities) after 4 years of him being fairly intolerable. He was the antiestablishment candidate after Bernie was redlined by the DNC in the primaries and people still choose Trump in 2016 despite his voluminous personal and ethical lapses because he was perceived as the outsider despite being extremely wealthy and being famous to some extent only for being rich for the last 35 years or so. Its like our world is being organized by sadistic sitcom writers where the only people laughing are them at all of us.

  • “We are being asked if we want to wake up and become conscious, or go extinct.”

Dear Godot, for the thousandth time, what concrete things should tens of millions of American people actually do after they miraculously “wake up and become conscious”? I’d love to read your answer.

For example, will one of the woke things you recommnend be to once again vote for Rs or Ds in the upcoming elections — in other words, to vote for More Of The Same Down The Road To Extinction that Americans have been experiencing since their selection in 2016 of the “Make America Great Again” R Tangerine Jackass and their selection in 2020 of flip-side “America Is Back” D Mr. Potato Head — or will it be to vote for so-called third-party candidates for POTUS and legislators?

Many people can already see that the USSS Titanic is sinking fast and it’s long past time to start patching the holes in the hull; and that firearms and guillotines are only going to put more holes in the hull and sink the ship even faster. “But what can I do?” , millions of people are asking themselves. I don’t think that hoping for the best, wishing upon a star, or voting for another R or D are going to cut it.

The correct answer is remarkably simple.

The US has a constitution that spells out the elected branches of representative government and voting intervals. Therefore, what specific tools and behavior can citizens employ to patch the hull of the Titanic — in other words, to replace the present monsters in public office with people who are not monsters? Again, the answer/behavior is remarkably simple, but oligarchs will spend literally billions to make sure millions of people do not do what must be done in the voting booth. If voting behavior did not matter, why else would oligarchs waste billions in the lead up to every election?

    • The very same Sociopaths In Charge that you wish to dispose of are also in control of who appears on a ballot, and what the voting rules are. You will never dispose of them by voting. Voting only gives them validation. How could us governing our selves be any worse? I’m not talking about the self proclaimed “anarchist” who want to burn the world down so they can rape pillage and plunder as they please. We already have that. It’s called government. I’m talking about communities with common interests engaging in commerce to acquire private services we now get from government. Governments are nothing more nor less than a gun to your head if you don’t comply. Communities with common interests have no need of such. If the private company the community hires to give them protection doesn’t fill the bill, fire them and find one that does. Government puts a police force in place, and you have no choice but to live with it, or die with it if you don’t go along.

There is no government solution, because government is the problem. They are all founded on the notion they have authority to kill you if you don’t go along.

  • Most current government personnel and policy reminded me of the following:

    by Henry Louis Mencken, September 12, 1880 – January 29, 1956
“A government, at bottom, is nothing more than a gang of men,
and as a practical matter most of them are inferior men …
Government is actually the worst failure of civilized man.
There has never been a really good one,
and even those that are most tolerable are arbitrary,
    cruel, grasping and unintelligent.
Indeed, it would not be far wrong to describe the best
as the common enemy of all decent citizens.”

    More at: https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/H._L._Mencken

    • A gang that has assumed authority to kill you if you don’t go along. Such does not attract sane moral people. It does attract sociopaths and psychopaths. These are quite often intelligent and charismatic, so they succeed in acquiring position, whether by vote or not. All governments are built in this manner. The only difference between one and another is what their particular gang of Sociopaths In Charge want to accomplish, for their own benefit, and how much they think they can get away with before the pitchforks come out.

  • What would people say if Trump did that…..How would people react if Trump said that……

Like it would really make a difference? What should really be stressed is Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same fake coin. To put it simply, it’s not a seedy duopoly it’s a criminal “monopoly.” Trump, was a convenient “toreador red flag” used to rally (bullshit) liberals and terrified germaphobes.

Trump will kill you, but Biden will feel your pain and save you with a warpspeed toxic experimental gene therapy misnamed a vaccine.

17,503 Dead, 1.7 Million Injured (50% Serious) Reported in European Union’s Database of Adverse Drug Reactions for COVID-19 Shots

The bottomline–if the electorate could’ve seen Biden’s policies six months in advance–liberal mainstream media news as well as co-opted independent media would still say vote for Biden and that includes Chomsky.

Trump served his purpose and is no longer useful. The Buffoon did what he was told and gave tax cuts to the wealthy and deregulated businesses to the max, but now it’s time for Biden to implement the really insidious repressive “stuff.” All the things which could never be enacted by the loudmouth orangeman…….. Gee, I wonder if there’s a vaccine for TDS or just plain stupidity…………..

    • Seen from outside, what the USA does is quite independent of whichever gang’s currently in the White House. Cuba’s been under blockades, embargoes, sanctions and wotnot for sixty years, under a succession of Rep and Dem presidents. The wars on Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia went on under both Dems and Reps. Etc etc etc.
Seen from outside, it’s the USA that’s the problem.

      • Agreed, Presidents have little power. The US is controlled and for that matter most of the planet by international financiers, Wall Street hedge funds, and the security state who has ties to 195 countries.

    • 4.1 million dead worldwide from covid. We can stop it by listening to real doctors instead of internet crackpots.

      • You have no idea how many are dead. All you know is what someone told you. Likely someone with money to be made if you are fearful enough. There are a great many real doctors who are being censored, have lost their jobs, and or their licenses for telling what they personally saw. Fauci has never seen a patient in his life.

        • Someone told you it’s all a conspiracy. Luckily for me I know how to tell the difference between a rumor and a proven fact. Russiagate is a rumor, alien spaceships are a rumor, and covid conspiracies are a rumor. There is no solid evidence of any of them, just a lot of scary talk from a lot of scared idiots.

      • Dr. Robert Malone, a pioneer in the field of mRNA vaccines, shared a viral Twitter thread on Friday which lays out a disturbing trend; the most-vaccinated countries in the world are experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases, while the least-vaccinated countries are not.
        https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/worrying-me-quite-bit-mrna-vaccine-inventor-shares-viral-thread-showing-covid-surge-most?
And who’s the internet crackpot? :o)

        • That zerohedge thing looks like it’s ignoring most of the world, which is where the least vaccinated countries are to be found – with surges in cases.

      • 20 million dead EVERY YEAR worldwide from strokes and heart attacks.
        The MAIN cause?
Animal fat in their bloodstreams.(Proven by dozens of studies).
Don’t see the slaughterhouses being locked down yet.

  • Even if it IS a conspiracy, what consenting adults do behind closed doors is no-one’s business.

  • “”The empire’s goal is to fracture and neuter the left and carve away class analysis and anti-imperialism from whatever remains until we’re nothing but tiny groups of irrelevant assholes arguing about how hard you should punch a TERF.”
    Bravo

  • Those running our government/the rich and powerful actually think that their power is endless. To them I say, “Guess what.” the universe doesn’t give a shit what you think. To the universe, you are no more than a tiny speck of sand in the Sahara desert. you can make one mistake after another, wipe out billions of people, destroy this planet and the universe will continue without you.”

If the money spent on trying to control everything and everyone were spent, instead, on trying to improve the lot of everyone – and to saving the planet for the people – this truly could be a shining example of what togetherness can accomplish.

Instead, we have a government and power structure where, those who used to be considered well to the left – and who still, sometimes, try to play the part, actually reside right of center, in the space vacated by moderate Republicans who moved further to the right seeking increasing campaign funds. and now, those former leftist, neoliberals are, themselves, moving further to the right, though mostly to control the narrative that gives them a facade of power.

    • “Those running our government/the rich and powerful actually think that their power is endless. To them I say, “Guess what.” the universe doesn’t give a shit what you think.”
      `
Thanks for pointing that out. It can’t be said enough: people are responsible for these unspeakable actions of the U.S. government. They have names and faces. They are the individual billionaires and family dynasties that make up the robber crime syndicate.
      `
Much of the influence on the U.S. government comes from non U.S. robber barons.

    • The right vs left paradigm is designed to do exactly what it’s done Keep us separated and at each others throats, while the designers rape pillage and plunder as we fight each other. There is no right or left among the Sociopaths In Charge, there is only ME.

      • From the United States Bankers’ Magazine of 1892: “We must proceed with caution, and guard well every move made, for the lower orders of people are already showing signs of restless commotions. Prudence will, therefore, dictate a policy of apparently yielding to the popular will until all of our plans are so far consummated that we can declare our designs without fear of organised resistance. The Farmers’ Alliance and the Knights of Labour organisations in the United States should be carefully watched by our trusted men, and we must take immediate steps to control these organisations in our interests or disrupt them. The coming Omaha Convention, to be held July 4th, our men must attend and direct its movements, or else there will be set on foot such antagonism to our designs as may require force to overcome. This, at the present time, would be premature. We are not yet ready for such a crisis. Capital must protect itself in every possible manner through combination and legislation. The courts must be called to our aid. Debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. Where, through a process of law, the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and easily governed through the influence of the strong arm of government, applied by central power of imperial wealth, under the control of leading financiers. The truth is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capital to govern the world. While they are doing this the people must be kept in a condition of political antagonism. The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organisation known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection and reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party. By thus dividing the voters we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to lead the common herd. Thus by discreet actions we can secure all that has so generously planned and successfully accomplished.”

        • Doesn’t get more perverse than that John

  • I think the empire is messing up RT news DNS cache. People not used to understand will move away from RT news every time they see this warning. It’s a temporary anonymous file just to see what’s going on.

    https://volafile.org/get/EhO-gXCVpKmDD/RT%20infected.png

    • Given what we know from Edward Snowden and so on, it’d be more appropriate if every website came with such a warning.

      • True but it was through a fortunate coincidence I discovered that. Not even sure if they realize what is going on but I prefer to believe they have good web engineers to find a way out of this. Otherwise people will start believe the commies are trying to steal your info and infect your computer. You know, people.

        • I get daily emails from The Canary, and recently Yahoo’s been delivering them with a message like “We flagged this. Open it if you think it is safe.” I’ll post the exact wording next time I get one.

          • Yahoo is not what used to be back in the day. Microsoft cloud has serious problems. Your outlook messages can simply disappear now, all of them. Some weeks later the messages will be back on you inbox. But the thing with RT is when you write the address in your browser or you load it from your favorites. The homepage is that image which I uploaded the image just to people have an idea and share some thoughts. Anyways, glad we could talk here Ian. Thanks.

            • I just typed an RT address into my browser, and it took me straight there – no warning message.
The message Yahoo attaches to my Canary email thingies is
“Why is this message in your inbox?
We think this message is spam. We still put it in your inbox as the sender is in your contact list. You can mark this message as safe or remove the sender.”
followed by “Remove sender and mark as spam”/”It’s safe” options to click on. I wonder, if I clicked on “Remove sender”, would it then be a right headache to resubscribe? (I’ll probably find out one day, clicking on it through clumsiness!)

    • I don’t know what you are talking about. Every morning I check http://www.rt.com to see if the empire did something horrible while I was sleeping, and I haven’t ever gotten any warnings of any kind when I access it.
      ~
      What’s your ISP?
      – I access the internet thru a Century Link DSL line.

      • Yes, and it could be (I guess, I’m not a techie) something to do with EAST WIZARD’s browser, browser settings, anti-virus software, or all sorts. I’ve tried a few ways of getting to RT’s site, and I still haven’t got that message!

  • They said, “You are either with us, or against us.” And, “By God, we are going forward (with or without you)!” Were you awakened? Which side, then, “By God,” did you choose? They say, “Robust Enforcement Strategies are needed to weed out the remaining defectors, because their insubordinate rants are killing us (By God!).” Are you still asleep, or seeking? “By God,” there is an answer: Which house is divided, and still dividing? And, which house remains undivided (while welcoming/bringing together)? https://seaclearly.com/2020/02/02/words-of-mass-discernment

  • The media is not serving government, the government is serving the owners of the media, the owners of the banks, the owners of nearly everything. Government is a tool that needs to be taken away from the oligarchs and put in the hands of democratically elected government. We need to take the money power away from the elite’s banking system now dominating government and get it back in the hands of a people’s government at whatever level we can.

    • Exactly. Thank you.

    • Agreed 100%. How about this as a way to get the money power in our hands? https://twitter.com/DomeLord/status/705772854630084608?s=20

    • And all they would have to do is get 51% to agree, and they would be right back in business. if a local private bank proposed to operate the way the Fed does, it would have no customers. Its the centralized banking system that’s the problem, and it’s a product of government, while at the same time government is its tool, and vice versa. Gang rape is democracy in action.

  • You know I had tons of laughs when I read this: “Please Xi Jinping I am Catalina23571956 (0 followers) we need immediate military intervention in America”. It’s kind of “okay, let’s try to do the same narrative in the same way but in the opposite direction”. And hell, yea, the villain in those movies, the empire, always win at the end. Mildly putting, US empire is Thanos in Marvel avengers movies. Deciding who gets to live or to die. Let’s say someone come up with a bright new idea about the nature of the state. Let’s name it just for fun, mockerism. Mockerism is a threat to the US empire. Mockerism governments will suffer economic sanctions as long as it exists. It’s faded to die before the mother can give birth. No one will ever see how it could have been without someone bullying the newborn since the first day. Of course it is a bad picture to see. It’s a monster. It’s evil. No one can go till there transporting supplies and medications to not get the idea of the picture. You might get infected. Only when they give up we will let you go there with our media to see how happy they are to see us bringing our way of living. The narrative and history repeats itself in nasty ironical ways. But just because the pen is hold by the same hand since the beginning. The story is more truer than the truth if can keep telling it without opposition. People like those coming here on this blog are similar to those persecuted by the Vatican for not recognizing the Roman church as the new religious power. Entire civilizations were burned to the ground for that. America spent all resources to succeed in this actual geopolitical course of action. There is no gong back for them. If they cannot move on with their agenda they will lose everything. The creditors will just move on to another country and opportunities. All military bases will become rubbles and a bad memory of a megalomaniac post WWII ambition.

  • “Adapt or Die”. Truly I agree, that “light at the end of the tunnel is a freight train coming our way” (Metallica,) Knowing this and being able to discuss it tho’, that’s two different things. My closest acquaintances think I’m a weird conspiracies wacko because all of my views are influenced by the shitstorm NONE of them WANT to comprehend. Truly a Perfect Storm: -0.1%ers, late stage capitalism, a psycho dieing Empire, enviro collapse, A.I, Nano, 3D printing of EVERYTHING, spike protein future cost, total surveillance, State digital “currencies”, Gates patented food groups, pesticides, plummeting sperm count worldwide… crikey, I won’t talk to me!

  • Believe me, Caitlin. I AM LOOKING AT IT.

  • The Empire’s goal is to survive, and its looking more and more like it won’t, due to the self inflicted destruction of its money. It’s a dying beast and it knows it. Which is why the big push for globalism, to give them a rabbit hole to escape to. Unfortunately for the rest of the species, no beast is more dangerous than when facing its own extinction. Oh you CAN trust the US government. To destroy whatever it perceives as the tiniest threat to its empire, by the most violent means available.

    • JK: yes – the desperation is palpable (US, UK, France, Australia …); so we’re close – and the one thing I expect (seeing the sheer s c a l e of gestures like 9/11 and now COVID) is that any last moves attempted – prior to the U$D being dethroned – can be expected to be masterpieces of ‘fear engineering’.

      • Yes, so true. The money power IS the power to govern but this private money power only governs to enrich and empower itself. They’ve led the world into a nearly 300 trillion dollar debt, which represents the scale of the industrialized assault on our Earth life support systems.

We need to replace our existing government so we can replace their private debt-based monetary system with an equity-based public money system. To achieve this, federal legislation is needed that: Requires Congress to be the sole creator of all U.S. money debt-free, as authorized in the U.S Constitution; Ends the privilege of commercial banks to create money; and transfers all remaining operations of the Federal Reserve System to the US Treasury, accountable to the public.

The legislation is already written. It was introduced to Congress in 2011 and was of course ignored, never getting out of committee.
A tall order, however, the system change required to turn this rig around must be as great as the catastrophe we are facing.

However, money plays two roles; 1. An exchange medium (it is just money) and 2. An instrument of power (the hidden hand).

It is that we have made money a commodity, a store of value, that creates the power role of money. This legislation changes all existing US Fed money into US Money, reclaiming our exchange medium, but it does not address the hoarding of money for speculation and power. To do that we need to implement a demurrage fee on the money, making it decline in value over time so that the hoards of money will have to be spent or it is lost.

We all just need to get on the same page about the money.

        • All government, each and every one, is founded on the notion that it has authority to kill you if you don’t go along. How do you think such a thing as a central bank came about? The US had one briefly in the early 1800s, and then didn’t have one again until 1913, when the Fed was established. Which eventually succeeded in gaining authority to create money out of thin air, and loan it out at interest. Technically a private bank.

        • Seems to me you’re advocating a ‘top down’ approach which is OK as far as it goes but good luck with that since the top seems to be as corrupt as can be. Don’t forget there’s a ‘bottom up’ approach as well, Ithaca Hours, for example. I feel we need Peoples’ Congresses to get out of the political [party] quagmire we find ourselves in. A Peoples’ Bank would doubtless follow and usury would become extinct rather than we humans. Jeremy Corbyn seemed to be wanting to try the ‘top down’ approach https://edm.parliament.uk/early-day-motion/46238 but the establishment soon put a stop to that with utter ruthlessness. That’s what we’re up against.

        • Yes! Great to hear someone saying the right things about money.
