Listen to a reading of this article:

A poor person in the US has to bend over backwards and degrade themselves in all sorts of official and unofficial ways for a few bucks in welfare, but the Pentagon can spend trillions on a 20-year war that achieves nothing but making assholes rich without being asked a question.

The bad news is the oligarchic empire is ratcheting up authoritarian control with the goal of trapping us in an Orwellian dystopia so gradually we don’t notice, but the good news is they won’t succeed because they’ll get us all killed via nuclear war or climate collapse first.

Always blame the manipulators, not the manipulated.

Q: What is a landlord?

A: A landlord is someone who is paid by a tenant for the privilege of keeping vandals and disuse from destroying their investment property (which they will sell at an immense profit) while complaining about having to do maintenance on their own investment.

Q: What is rent?

A: Rent is a double-dipping scam wherein a landlord has a tenant pay off the loan on their investment property for them and then evicts that tenant and sells the property for a lot of money.

People complaining about the US eviction ban are like, “Oh help me, I am a landlord and my investment property isn’t yielding free money. I am a lord, I cannot get a job, I cannot work for my hands are like gelatin desserts.”

Nobody is entitled to make free money tenenting their investment property. If your rent scam isn’t working, sell your investment like a normal investor.

“If you don’t let landlords evict tenants they’ll have to sell their property to BlackRock!”

Yeah, that isn’t the killer argument you think it is.

  • It assumes renters care which lord they’re exploited by
  • Selling means you make money, boo hoo
  • It just means we need a revolution to take back what institutions like BlackRock have stolen.

“Can you think of a better way to provide shelter?”

Redistribute wealth, redistribute property, eat BlackRock executives alive.

“You’ve clearly never owned a rental property.”

No I’ve never exploited a system premised on the continued existence of a permanent rent-paying underclass. That’s like telling me I can’t criticize child abusers until I’ve abused a child.

Hiring mainstream news agencies to help you fight “misinformation” on your social media platform is like hiring David Duke to help you diversify your workforce.

Mandatory vaccines would be a violation of bodily sovereignty and vaccine passports are authoritarian abuses and people should be allowed to discuss this stuff on the social media platforms everyone uses and the army shouldn’t be policing the streets of fucking Sydney.

The mass media just spent years leading the world on a wild goose chase for Trump-Russia collusion that never existed and now have the absolute gall to act like people are deranged lunatics for not trusting them about elections, viruses and vaccines.

Global capitalism is beginning to look like the end of a game of Monopoly.

Right wingers are always very concerned that they’re being manipulated into doing stupid left-wing things to advance an authoritarian agenda and not at all concerned that they’re being manipulated into doing stupid right-wing things to advance an authoritarian agenda.

Rightists: The global elites are grabbing up all the power and wealth!

Leftists: Yep. Have been for a while.

Rightists: It’s called the Great Reset!

Leftists: Sure you can call it that.

Rightists: We need a global revolution!

Leftists: Yeah we’ve been saying that since the 1800s.

I’ve been writing every day for years about how the oligarchic empire is pushing us toward authoritarian dystopia and extinction and we’ll all die if we don’t have a global revolution very soon, and the scamdemic people keep yelling at me for not saying this using their jargon.

Me, every day for years: They’re ramping up authoritarian agendas and if we don’t all rise up immediately we’ll all be killed.

Scamdemic crowd: God DAMMIT Caitlin, why can’t you understand that things are SERIOUS now???

Whenever I say I don’t comment on certain aspects of the Covid narrative because I’m bad at science people tell me “Well I’m no good at science and I understand what’s going on with Covid perfectly!” Uhh no, that just means you’re less real about what you know and don’t know.

If it requires no scientific smarts, like knowing soldiers shouldn’t be policing civilians in Sydney, then I’m on it. If it does then I’m kind of lost. What’s weird is my husband/collaborator is just as bad at that stuff as me; we haven’t got a scientific brain between us.

I’ve been looking at this thing for over a year and there’s a lot I just can’t wrap my mind around, and I’m not going to just accept other people’s analysis on faith if I can’t verify it for myself. If you say you get it, you’re either better at science than I am or less honest.

  1. Weak arguement.
Michael Hudson does better – well he is something of an expert.
In good capitalism, the best and brightest work hard to be productive and accumulate capital to use to invest in productive assets and in development of new methods which boost productivity and wealth generation which is necessarily shared to motivate productivity.
In our version of capitalism the wealthy inlfuential connected aquire capital by productivity and or other means and use it to aquire assets productive and otherwise to a degree which gives them monopoly control and which they cannot employ and dont want to risk investment but which they can then control price of sale or rent – renting has advantage of steady revenue stream and asset appreciates over time due to scarcity. Thus leading to Michaels rentier economy.
This stems from economy is not free market but is planned as in corporatism also corporate socialism. The fed is handing truck loads of cash to the superwealthy in the hope that they may do something good with it and to protect them from thier mistakes or risk of any kind. The hand out of free money is a form of taxation devaluing the savings of those who are not being fire hosed with digital dollars.
Crypto will allow the wealthy and powerful to escape oversight – not because it is immune but because no one will go after them and is invisible to public.

    1. Hudson is quite the fellow. One could do far worse than to implement his thinking. And we likely will. In a very real sense, Hudson and all of the other supposedly antagonistic movers and shakers are controlled opposition to actually considering alternatives to the market as being the penultimate state of human consciousness. We are way more than that.

  2. Talk about collusion…

    Has some concerned.

  3. You apparently acknowledge your ignorance of science when it comes to covid and refrain from commenting on the subject, but how come you don’t similarly acknowledge your ignorance of science when it comes to economics?

I am a renter myself and I am more than happy to pay my landlords for the service they provide. I greatly appreciate having a fixed cost per month for rent, which in my area is less than half the cost of what it would be for me to pay a mortgage, property tax, and insurance (not to mention upkeep) on the home I live in. The owner has taken care of appliances when they broke, replaced the roof on the garage when it leaked, and taken on the risk that the property value goes down etc. Personally I wouldn’t even want to own the property I live in because, not only would that cost me way more each month, I think the value could easily decline 20% or more and I could end up underwater in a mortgage which is a risk I would rather not bear.

Rent is not a scam, it is a mutually beneficially exchange like any other economic transaction. If I wasn’t benefiting from paying rent I would stop doing it. The relatively small amount of money I pay for rent is well worth the tremendous value I receive in exchange in terms of sheltering my family from the elements, having running hot water on demand to cleanse ourselves, electricity and internet to be able to make this comment on your blog etc.

What is the alternative you are suggesting would be better? Soviet bloc style apartments owned by the government which they could then try to use as leverage to force me to take vaccines etc.? Surely I would have to pay the cost of the housing anyway through taxes, albeit probably a lot more because of government inefficiency.

At the end of the day housing is not free, it has to be paid for one way or the other since it takes workers to identify, obtain, and refine materials and use them to build and maintain shelters and those workers need to be paid. Landlords play the role of intermediary helping to solve for the problem of the unlikelihood of double coincidence of wants between me and all the thousands of laborers it takes to log, mine, refine, transport, construct, and repair houses. My monthly rent ultimately pays those workers, albeit indirectly. I could certainly try to pay people directly to build and maintain a house for me (or do it myself though it isn’t really practical given my limited time and lack of all the specialized skills needed to do so) but that would require that I invest sufficient capital up front, which I may not have on hand (I suppose I could try to borrow capital potentially but that would probably still require a large down payment and of course a willing lender), and even then I would have to take on several forms of risk I am otherwise happily shielded from as a renter.

The communist utopia you imply would be better than my current situation doesn’t sound very appealing to me, I would much rather take my chances in a relatively free market where I can choose within my means from a plethora of options whether to buy, rent, live in an RV etc. rather than having only one (likely very low quality) option for housing dictated by a central government with strings attached.

    1. economics isn’t science. it is religion with a math veneer.

      1. Science is a method of inquiry based on inductive reasoning. Religion is a system of beliefs based not on reason but on faith. Economics is neither. Economics, properly understood, uses deductive reasoning rather than inductive reasoning. It is logical.
True, some economists act as scientists would and try to use math and inductive reasoning in trying to understand how the world works. John Maynard Keynes and his followers come to mind.

The Austrian School economists like Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich von Hayek began with some simple axioms that are beyond argument. For example, “Humans act in their own self-interest.” You can can not argue that the statement is false. In doing so, you will have acted and acted because you wanted to. All actions are self-interested even when one behaves altruistically. You are interested in being charitable for example. Even when compelled by threats of force or violence, you act to avoid punishment or pain. All else proceeds logically from this simple fact. It is all about incentives. No math required.

For anyone interested in learning real economics, I recommend Henry Hazlitt’s classics Economics in One Lesson. It is brief and written for regular people and not professional economists.

        1. Axioms are taken on faith. Then confirmation bias kicks in. The axiom “Humans act in their own self-interest,” is supported by sophistry so that the axiom is protected and the house of cards spun from that article of faith are built to support a vision of an economic system wherein the struggle becomes each against all.

“Austrian economics” attempts to put a scientific veneer on the law of the jungle. It does not appeal to the better angels of our nature. Rather, its adherents simply hasten the end of human civilization through ravaging the resources of the planet.

          1. Saying humans act in their self-interest is not sophistry. It is an irrefutable fact or an axiom if you will. To argue that humans do not act in their self-interest is absurd. It is true that humans make mistakes and act in ways that ultimately do not serve their self-interest, but this is never their intention. Appealing to self-interest is not the “law of the jungle” either. People do act to serve others even if it is not their primary motive. A business owner may merely want to maximize his profit, but to do so, he must serve the interests of his customers. Indeed, a high profit is the surest indication that the customers are in fact being served. A teacher may genuinely care about the welfare of his students, but would he work for free or be shy about asking for an increase in pay? Motives and incentives are sometimes complex or hidden, but self-interest as the motivator for action is always in play.

As for “ravaging the resources of the planet,” what is the purpose of such resources if not to serve the needs of humanity? All choices involve opportunity cost (another axiom), so if we want fuel to heat our homes, the coal, oil, gas or uranium needs to be mined from the earth. Even building solar panels or wind turbines to harvest solar or wind energy requires that natural resources be mined and put to use. Extreme environmentalists are really anti-human. They put the needs of their god “mother earth” ahead of the needs of people. A planet without people seems to be their ideal or perhaps a planet thinly populated by primitive tribes of hunter-gatherers. Achieving such an outcome would require the death of billions and the destruction of civilization.

            1. There are estimated to be somewhere over 7 billion people alive on planet Earth now. I predict that billions of them will die. All 7 billion of them. That is the experience we have had for millenia-we all die.

    2. Bravo – good reply. Socialists always strike me as the soft, cuddly personae of bait-and-switch used car salesmen – offering the workers’ utopia and delivering the banksters’ post-modern neo-feudal old world odor (in fact an aristocracy reminiscent of Animal Farm) – and many of them not able to realize they are instruments of the globalists machinations.

    3. Your argument is unadulterated bourgeois bullshit. It’s so me-oriented it’s not worth anyone’s time refuting.

  4. Reality rears it very ugly head in this article!

In this, both of Americas political Parties are united. It is the American sickness, which infects all successful United States politicians. (It does so because United States of Americas billionaires profit enormously from expanding the United States empire, and will not support any politician who opposes imperialism.) There is no actual market for peace, in America, because Americas (that is, its actual rulers’, its billionaires) aim is global conquest – not national security, and not peace.
    ~
War is Americas business; and, after WW II, it has all based on lies, and this is how it is sold to the American public (by lies), so that, other than “small business,” the military is the most trusted institution in America (and “the military used to be clearly the #1 most trusted American institution). Neoconservatism (United States imperialism) has replaced patriotism, in America, ever since the end of WW II. America is on the warpath.

    2. Change in the output of the sun and weakening magnetic fields are driving the change. Pollution is a sin. Notice that the narrative doesn’t extend to extraction itself.

      1. “the narrative doesn’t extend to extraction itself.”
Whatever do you mean? Climate science takes account, as best it can, of GHGs produced in extraction.
(And why should you care anyway, if you think climate change is down to sunshine and magnets?)

        1. Extraction to fuel an unsustainable progress. Unless you have fallen for the extraction from outer space narrative that is promoted to permit the usage of everything for right now. That’s the forest. You speak of trees.

          1. Furthermore, the most valuable human resource humans have is human shit. It is washed away with countless amounts of valuable water and processed with extracted chemicals and sent to denigrate viable ecosystems. It’s a fucking resource that returns to earth to make plants to feed beings and beings that feed beings. That’s how far gone reason has become. Oops.

At this point, at least half the country now distrusts and disbelieves the incoherent messages emanating from “Joe Biden’s” government about this Covid-19 problem and any attempt to force vaccinations on the “hesitant” public will pull the pin out of the national grenade that has been waiting to go off. The “insurrection” next time will be the real thing, not Nancy Pelosi’s faked-up soap opera.

All recent US history is starting to look like one big comprehensive fraud by forces seeking to wreck the country. The tension arising from that startling state-of-affairs is finally primed to begin resolving itself. The release could be dangerous.”

Just wait until the masses finally figure out that voting for people who do not read the bill they pass into law is not voting for someone who represents them. Their votes have NEVER counted. Nobody reads the bills… ever. The counterfeiters can create any soap opera narrative they want.

Literally, NIST’s (National Institute of Standards and Technology) official report on 9/11 is that three New York high rises that had been standing for several years collapsed in complete violation of the Laws of Physics. That’s the official 9/11 narrative and anyone who does not believe that is a “conspiracy theorist.”
      It is crazy.

  7. “That’s like telling me I can’t criticize child abusers until I’ve abused a child” You don’t have to be a scientist or a doctor to know that too many people are dying and getting ill from receiving a vaccine that they were assured would prevent them dying or getting ill from the thing they got the vaccine stop them dying and getting ill from.

I fully understand why you’re avoiding the subject and I don’t blame you. But don’t make up excuses. You’re not doing it because you might get banned from social media and receiving money through Paypal and other sources. You don’t have to pretend Caitlin, you’re doing a marvellous job on other subjects, and you’re needed more than ever. The least you can do is stand up for the people who, may just be journalists on the alternative media but, nevertheless, are risking their incomes doing a job that someone has to do. Journalists don’t have to know everything about what they write, but they do have ro recognise a scam when they see one. Don’t take sidewipes at other journalists, please. And, yes, you are.

    1. No it’s actually the thing I said, not what you said, and it’s actually extremely obnoxious for you to pull imaginary reasons out of your ass and claim they belong to me. No idea what you’re babbling about re:side swipes.

      1. Below your Twitter widget, you should put another one including your core links explaining what this is all about. “Did you miss the train?”. As for the others, remember where you live and what Anglo-Saxons are: unforgiving. Just a black list to make unknown people disappear from comments is not enough. You can really die without knowing where it came from. If it is just you, it’s okay. But you can put in danger all the ones around you. So, keep writing your psychological grassroots guerrilla. And shut your mouth here. You already have a lot on your back. Unnecessary engagement can make things worst.

        1. Engagement is engagement.
After I got engaged I took it seriously.
Ain’t nobody besides the one I’m engaged with and my own self gonna change my mind on the engagement relationship arrangement at any given moment.

Nothing about it stands up to rational thought unless you’re willing to believe the constantly shifting narrative rather than your own eyes. It’s brought to you by the same criminals who’ve given us neverending wars and poverty.

  8. You said you don’t have to be a landlord to know what it’s like.

Do you also think you don’t have to experience communism to know what it’s like?

I’ve escaped communism with skin on my back and nothing else. I wish I had a time machine to transport you to communism. We would never hear from you again, guaranteed.

But let me guess, you would know how to make communism work. If the Chinese and Russians couldn’t do it, and are now arguably bigger capitalists than us, then who can?

I now have 9 rentals, fully paid for, and no tenant had to pay my mortgage. I made the money in software before ever even owning my own place.

  10. Hello comrade — of course we agree with you. Food, housing, “education”, transport or anything else relying on “profit” is a scam. Mankind should not have to be productive to receive what they want to survive.

In fact, looking over our lists, I see you have several items that would be better used by distributing them to the public. That ok with you too?

    1. As far as history records, man had to produce to survive. The infirmed and aged were provided for by their family. Since FDR, the social experiment began to provide for others requiring no production. The result is a bankrupt, degenerative and dysfunctional society clear down to the family unit. The end of the tracks are in sight when the gravy train ends. Guaranteed basic income sounds great but the result is a non productive society. Someone must produce. Without production society will collapse. You either produce to feed yourself or someone is pointing a gun to make you produce. This expectation of income without production has been iingrained into society over several generations. It will not end well.

      1. It’s an interesting perspective to dream about. It’s almost like the tenant’s job is to hold a mirror up to the owner. To capture the everlasting suggestion through a sweet illusion of partnership. The tenant strive for money to live in accordance to the surroundings of the environment. It’s a symbiotic performance so true to the neighborhood’s prying eyes. They can even see themselves living in it. But it is far from the bitter truth related to the monthly parasitic relationship between tenants and owners.

        1. If it is “symbiotic” it ain’t suggestive. By definition.

  13. “The global-capitalist ruling establishment is implementing a new, more openly totalitarian structure of society and method of rule. They are revoking our constitutional and human rights, transferring power out of sovereign governments and democratic institutions into unaccountable global entities that have no allegiance to any nation or its people…
The time for people to “wake up” is over. At this point, you either join the fight to preserve what is left of those rights, and that sovereignty, or you surrender to the “New Normal,” to global-capitalistist totalitarianism.
…It’s August 2021, and Germany has officially banned demonstrations against the “New Normal” official ideology…The outlawing of political opposition is a classic hallmark of totalitarian systems.
…In Australia, the military has been deployed to enforce total compliance with government decrees … lockdowns, mandatory public obedience rituals, etc. In other words, it is de facto martial law. This is another classic hallmark of totalitarian systems.
In France, restaurant and other business owners who serve “the Unvaccinated” will now be imprisoned, as will, of course, “the Unvaccinated.” The scapegoating, demonizing, and segregating of “the Unvaccinated” is happening in countries all over the world. France is just an extreme example. The scapegoating, dehumanizing, and segregating of minorities — particularly the regime’s political opponents — is another classic hallmark of totalitarian systems.”

The degree of hypocrisy of our political and economic decision-makers is breathtaking when they say that it is for the common good that we must submit to all their health measures when they are all for abortion, that they leave thousands of people without a decent income, without even a home, with no opportunity to thrive in life. There is much more chance of getting sick under such conditions … Really the end of the world must be near.

Between 1965 and 1975, the “democratic” US and its allies carried out the largest aerial bombardment in human history, dropping more than 7.5 million tons of bombs in Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, twice as many as those dropped on Europe and Asia during the Second World War. They turned Laos, one of the poorest, most defenseless nations on Earth, into the planet’s most bombed country. From 1965 to 1969, the US military dropped 70 tons of bombs for every square mile of North and South Vietnam – or 500 pounds for each man, woman and child. As America’s head of the Strategic Air Command General Curtis LeMay put it, America’s aim must be to “bomb the Vietnamese back to the Stone Age.”

    1. Let’s bomb Davos back to the Stone Age.

  16. There’s even an economic word called “rent-seeking” that describes the broader concept of scamming the system.
    .
    Wow, even Wikipedia says:
“Rent-seeking is the effort to increase one’s share of existing wealth without creating new wealth.[1] Rent-seeking results in reduced economic efficiency through misallocation of resources, reduced wealth-creation, lost government revenue, heightened income inequality,[2] and potential national decline. ”

  19. Next you’ll be wanting laws passed that paintings by Joe Blow must be sold for the same amount as a Van Gogh. The utterly ridiculous statements about landlords and renters sounds like a sour grapes renter situation to me.
There is nothing inherently evil about it. Do you expect to stay at Days Inn for free?
A roof over one’s head has high value anywhere you go.

    1. A voice of reason is a sea of foolish children

    2. I rent a room to live. $500 bucks. Noting to do about that. I need a roof to sleep. I’ve been saving money to buy a trailer since always. Not sure if I’ll get one. But fuck that. As far I remember even CJ loves to go in nice hotels. You gotta pay for it. Even the most delusional anarchist-communist likes to have sometimes a good bourbon, filet mignon, Giorgio Armani, Victoria Secret, Sephora, Vera Wang and whatever tha fuck else each one of us like to have. You need money. There is no plausible discussion to demonize anyone about this. It’s the way of the world. Even the biggest idiot in the world like me know that. So what now? To spend almost 25 years to write down The Capital, Marx and Hegel had to come from a high level of education. For sure nobodies like us would have what it takes to write such thing based in all convenient info released by the Vatican when the stash was open to shape the world according their own terms. What do we really know about this world? Fuck if anyone here can say, I know. But you gotta pay to live. You don’t have to be a genius to understand where the help stands and where you have move your ass to make that happen.

  20. Apparently, the hippie mindset is so delusional – it can’t even see that owning a modest property – is the only way to survive in a shit system that is devaluing everything, every year, in the U.S. and around the world. Being a landlord is not a SCAM, and most rents are determined by the market they are in—not all places are overpriced rip-offs.

What the U.S. government is doing right now, subsidizing renters but making owners pay their mortage- is the EXACT way the Great Reset gets implemented at warp speed – renters WILL eventually be evicted, but LANDLORDS – will lose their properties – and who will be there to gobble them up? The federal government at 10 cents on the dollar – or their proxy, BLACK ROCK. It is a deliberate (further) theft and destruction of the middle class – yet you can’t see it due to a pollyanish wishful thinking – or outright refusal to see the bigger, soul-crushing picture.

“You’ll own nothing, and be happy.” Well, the first part is correct. But who WILL own everything, then? Megacorps and the government – and we’ve seen what they do – and how they go about crushing the middle class and poor like bugs.

It’s been quite the revelatory experience – reading you for the last five years. The writer who I thought was really astute and observant in 2016 and 2017 – pointing out truths about Assange and our sham electoral system – has been nowhere to be found on the Great Reset, China, the covid plandemc, and the MEGA THEFT of the 2016 Election.

In all, some 55 people were killed between 1855 and 1859. The struggle intensified the ongoing debate over the future of slavery in the United States and served as a key precursor to the Civil War.”

Does it surprise you that people who “print money out of nothing” own the money system who owns your home and kicks the crap out of anyone who objects? “War Is A Racket” – General Smedley Butler

Does it surprise you that MSM media never talks about how The Federal Reserve System’s “elastic standard” (an oxymoron) became law in the middle of the night on Christmas eve 1913? Would you like to print money out of nothing? What would you do with it? They buy military, media, education, entertainment and apartment buildings to put the masses in and keep them controlled. Cheating and stealing became legal for them under the ACT. Lying and changing the definitions of words is how they keep control.

    Thogen is right.

“Caitlin Johnstone wrongly blames capitalism for inequality, war, homelessness and many problems which are truly caused by our money system.

Inequality – If you allow a small group of men to print money, should you really be surprised that they have more money than you? Isn’t it obvious that given that power it will be abused? They print for themselves, their friends and their families while the little guy without a printer suffers the painful consequences.

War – Those men with the printer soon tire of their toys and want more power. Their dreams of ruling the world become nightmares for millions of innocent victims of our endless wars – also financed with that damn printer.

Homelessness – In order to strip the people of their most important asset and the independence that asset provides, homes are targeted. Those men with the printer intentionally create and then burst bubbles by manipulating interest rates. They lower rates to nothing and people buy like crazy, burying themselves in debt. Then rates are raised, the economy slows, people stop buying homes and the values collapse, leaving many underwater. Jobs are then lost in that intentionally slowing economy and indebted homeowners lose those homes when unable to pay. Presto!”

  23. My only question is: If the tenant does not pay, who does?

  24. Caitlin Johnstone just took a beating on Twitter. In response to her “rent is a scam” attack on capitalism, she abandoned her entire argument pertaining to housing and rent and shifted to the completely unrelated argument: “It’s fine to have that ideology but unregulated capitalism is one I reject because it has no real answer answer for climate collapse and caring for the needful.”

The truth is that rent isn’t a scam. Our money system is a scam. CJ knows that, but refuses to be honest. So, she tries to twist and redefine her complaint and argument (“unregulated” capitalism) and then change the subject altogether. So, is this about rent being a scam, or is it about climate collapse? Or is it about caring for the needful or a lack of regulations?

Honest people strive for clarity and greater understanding. Dishonest people evade, misdirect and when all else fails, retreat.

Caitlin Johnstone: Probably gonna take two or three days off to recharge.

Caitlin Johnstone frequently writes about corrupt governments and politicians and the problems they create. They give her a lot of material.

“I’ve been writing every day for years about how the oligarchic empire is pushing us toward authoritarian dystopia and extinction and we’ll all die if we don’t have a global revolution very soon” she says.

We can probably all agree that the system is broken and certainly very unfair. But beyond calling for “global revolution” which would quickly become violent, what can be done?

When asked “Can you think of a better way to provide shelter?” Her response was: “Redistribute wealth, redistribute property, eat BlackRock executives alive.” But who gets to divvy up the loot, the corrupt governments and politicians? Or does she think cooperative society will peacefully and fairly accomplish that task? Try that and you’ll get to see your own little revolution.

That clearly isn’t a reasonable or in any way workable solution. The closer you look, the easier it is to see that she isn’t offering real solutions or even enlightenment. She is paid to muddy the waters. I hope you can see it.

The problem is that she is influencing and confusing many people out there that can’t. Her function is to effectively stall progress (peaceful revolution) which can only be achieved through greater understanding.

Johnstone’s comments about redistribution expose the true root cause of that problem. How can wealth be honestly and fairly distributed without killing each other in the process? To answer that, ask yourself – how is so much wealth being unfairly transferred into the hands of so few? The explanation is simple and so is the solution, both described below.

But for now, let’s consider the damage done by CJ the misinformation hired gun. Jimmy Dore is a good example of someone that has been influenced by Caitlin Johnstone. Dore rants about political corruption on his popular YouTube channel. He’s very good at dissecting propaganda in a clear and amusing way. There is no way to fake what he does. If he didn’t understand and recognize those attempts to mislead and deceive, he wouldn’t be able to torch propagandists so effectively.

When Dore shifts his commentary to economics he’s clearly not as sure of himself. Credit/blame Caitlin Johnstone and one or two others, who Dore sometimes quotes on his show, for misinforming him. But if Jimmy Dore gets a whiff of the truth, I think he’ll lock on that scent and quickly put things together. His propagandist enemies don’t want that to happen. I hope it does.

The current Fed Funds Rate is 0.00% – 0.25%. Never would you have a zero percent interest rate in free market capitalism. We don’t have free market capitalism and Caitlin Johnstone knows it. No one loans money at zero percent because there is risk that you might no get repaid. Only a group of men with a printer would do such a crazy thing. And they do it to encourage borrowing, discourage saving and ultimately make you dependent. Dependent people are easy to control and exploit.

It was easy to see that Caitlin Johnstone was and is very wrong about capitalism. So, after asking a few questions and clarifying some misconceptions, it’s now also easy to see it is intentional. After her obvious misconceptions were questioned, she now says she’s going to “or might” stop using words like capitalism and socialism because “they have completely different meanings to people from different ideologies.” What a crock! A very cowardly crock.

Rather than admitting that she is wrong, she actually has the nerve to pretend that the definition of capitalism changes from person to person. When wrong, some make it right, others run and hide. I don’t think I like that word and I’m not going to use it anymore, she whines in a cross-armed, childish huff.

    What a fraud.

The empire hates capitalism because it creates self-sufficiency and freedom. Free and independent people do not need, want or tolerate government masters. So, the empire demonizes and blames capitalism for problems they truly create. Those who don’t honestly understand capitalism fall for it and jump on the bandwagon. They [you] tweet: “There has never been a better time to crush capitalism” without realizing the deception.

There has never been a better time to crush your misconceptions about capitalism. But it’s up to you to do it. And don’t forget about those lists.

Please consider my comments regarding capitalism and sound money. I (respectfully) believe you have that puzzle piece out of place. In my opinion, that piece, the sound money part at least, is the ONLY way to end the empire and the devastation and destruction it endlessly creates.

The Bitcoin/cryptocurrency community, although well intentioned, is moving us in the wrong direction. The central banks are using them to build the digital infrastructure and will soon issue their own digital currencies while banning all of the non-government issued options. At that point the empire will have the power to effectively silence their opposition by simply turning off their money. Caitlin Johnstone wrote what? No soup for you!

Here is my original post, your reply and my response:

Quote from your story: “Capitalism is responsible for the historically unprecedented level of human thriving today. Also, anything you say to criticize our current system is invalid because this system isn’t real capitalism. Both of these things are true for me somehow.”
    *
Criticize our current system all you like, but don’t call it capitalism.

There are no bailouts in capitalism. And there is no central bank manipulating interest rates either. The former US capitalist system was lost when sound (Constitutional – Article 1, Section 10) money was abandoned (after JFK’s assassination, but officially in August of 1971).

The gold standard restrained government spending because you cannot print gold & silver out of thin air. With Constitutional restraints removed, money was printed freely to finance wars, bailouts, interest rate rigging and whatever else was needed to finance this corrupt system.

Returning to sound money is the path to a far better world.

    CAITLIN JOHNSTONE (AUTHOR) / JULY 27, 2021
You don’t get to claim the successes without also owning the failures. If you won’t call the current system capitalism then you don’t get to give capitalism any credit for the advancements of the modern world.

    THOGEN / JULY 27, 2021
I am saying that the former US capitalist system ended when Constitutional money ended. Credit that once great system for the successes and prosperity which existed at that time.

It is no coincidence that the 1964 minting (only weeks after JFK’s 11/22/63 death) was the last Constitutional (silver) coinage. Kennedy’s assassins substituted cheap alloys in place of expensive silver, essentially robbing citizens by issuing counterfeit and pocketing the difference.

Google “melt value of 1964 quarter” and compare that to 1965 and later coins. Its value is about $4.50 per pre-1965 quarter today and just $0.59 for 1965 – 2014 coins. By the way, the 1964 minimum wage was $1.25 (five of those quarters) the equivalent to $22.50 per hour today.

Dollars were also counterfeited as the Constitutionally required gold backing requirement was ignored. Read about the wonderful French leader back then, Charles de Gaulle. He famously exposed how the US cheated the world and used the proceeds to finance the Vietnam war.

Returning to sound money would end the empire.

The war machine would screech to a halt without funding. Without the ability to print money, financing wars would require taxation which people would resist. Do you think George W. Bush would have been able to sell the Iraq war if at the end of his pitch he asked each citizen to fork over $20,000 for their share of the costs?

Excellent discussion here on how the British empire has been diligently working on re-establishing the ancient world of kingdoms and feudalism. Neoliberalism (privatization of government and public services) was the beginning, (circa 1975, mostly Reagan/Thatcher era) of the aggressive push to reduce the world to serfdom.

  26. Right on. I like this one too.
Damned sure right about the rent scam too.
Forcing millions and millions of human beings (and their children) to pay you whatever you happen to be able to squeeze out of them, for the privelige of not being eaten by coyotes while they sleep, for their entire lives, until they die and you make their kids do the same thing….

  27. Caitlin uses the “I’m bad at science” rationalization for her dearth of Covid coverage. As if the Covid fraud has much to do with real science. But she wants YOU to believe that apparently. A persuasive writer can easily come up with “persuasive” justifications.

She recognizes that Russiagate and other frauds are POLITICAL ploys and have little to do with science/evidence YET she is incapable to see that Covid is THE MOST GLARING POLITICAL fraud ever. This is more than surreal. A sharp 7 year old can see that this has little to do with scientific evidence.

For someone so confident in her abilities to spot propaganda and frauds it makes little sense why she fails so terribly here. It is either a huge psychological block (stuff she has not worked on) or something more sinister.

She wants you to believe that the Covid scam is about science. It means she is propagandizing YOU with her propaganda.

As I said yesterday or the day prior in a comment addressed to her, anyone with a WORKING moral backbone can quickly recognize that Covid-19 is a horrific fraudulent disaster against the public (see “The 2 Married Pink Elephants In The Historical Room –The Holocaustal Covid-19 Coronavirus Madness: A Sociological Perspective & Historical Assessment Of The Covid “Phenomenon”” by Rolf Hefti at www dot CovidTruthBeKnown dot com).

A most important point she fully ignored…. why am I not surprised?

Come on. I’m not quite as modest about my knowledge of science as Caitlin is, but I still find all the propaganda quite intimidating. I usually listen to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation morning radio current affairs program, “A.M.,” and these days it seems to be solid flu propaganda. I don’t think having a working moral backbone is enough to make sure that you see a fraud.
You insist that “Covid” is a fraud, and I think you are right, but you haven’t offered any reasons for saying so. You have referred us to other things that you think we should read, but I don’t think that is enough: you have to make some sort of a statement yourself if you want us to pay attention to your point of view.
I suggest that “Covid” is a DRILL that got out of hand. At first, when it seemed that hospitals could be overwhelmed, it made sense to try to slow the spread of the disease down. But we know now that that isn’t going to happen, so there is really no justification for taking any more than the usual precautions that are taken (or used to be taken) for diseases like measles, mumps, and chickenpox. Locking whole cities into house arrest and preventing people from working because of something like this is more a sign of authoritarianism gone mad than anything else. Fortunately, it will get harder and harder for them to enforce. As time goes on, more and more people will just ignore the nonsense and get on with their lives. They will have to.

Put the pitch fork down. Many ‘landlords’ are older people who give up sections of their house to make a few bucks to help pay property taxes so the govt doesn’t seize their property.

The word ‘landlord’ is archaic. I don’t own my land, I lease it from the state. BTW I do not have tenants, so I am not one of ‘them’. My grandmother was and she was scared of her tenant. We’d ask her if Jen paid her share of the utility bills yet, and she’d get all agitated in that way that old people get agitated.

How about having a moratorium on property taxes rather than just tell home owner to suck it up.
BTW the property tax IS a wealth tax and a brutal one. For some reason, my Republican friends think the world will end if a billionaire pays a 1% wealth tax but they are fine paying a 5 or 10% wealth tax.

Wow, Caitlin, you must be extrapolating from some horrible personal experiences.
I don’t think I would like to be a landlord, because you might have to make some cruel decisions, if people lose their jobs and can’t pay their rent, say. Also, I think landlords sometimes see the worst side of human nature, and that makes them hard.
I don’t see any reason on the face of it why the provision of shelter shouldn’t be a competitive, efficient, consumer-focussed industry like the provision of food. I suspect that the reason it isn’t, is that local government is involved. Local government seems to be in our society the refuge of all the incompetent busybodies in society. No doubt there is influence brought to bear on local government by monopolistic elements in the landholding and land development industry to limit competition and keep prices up.
This reminds me of the story from fifty years or so ago, about how somebody realised that they were still basically loading and unloading ships in the same way they had in the Middle Ages. He went ahead and invented the container shipping system. There is a need for somebody to invent a way of providing shelter that gets local government out of the way. I heard a comment on the A.B.C. (Australian government radio) once, about shanty towns, that said that if at all possible, the government should try to lay out streets at the beginning, so that when it was time to bring in services, like water, sewerage, and power, it wouldn’t be necessary to bulldoze everything. People could keep what they had built, and improve it as time went on. That sounds sensible to me. Of course, “slum clearance” means that developers get to kick everyone out and build expensive housing instead.
I’ve at least glanced through all the comments before mine, and I agree with a lot of what Thogen says, except that I don’t think he should condemn Caitlin in the way he does. People develop their opinions out of their own experiences, backgrounds, and personalities, and we can’t assume that they are being deliberately obnoxious just because they can’t see something that is obvious to us. Sometimes people who were political firebrands with lots of silly, prejudiced ideas, turn out to be competent and honest politicians once they achieve authority. They “grow in office.” Others, of course, just become corrupt. You can’t tell in advance how people will turn out.
Getting back to landlords, I want to tell you what I think is a funny story about coal-miners. In Central Queensland, where I live, there are a lot of modern, highly mechanised coal mines in an area where there are not an awful lot of people, so it was necessary for the mining companies to offer very high wages to get employees. The workers still had working-class ideas, and there were a lot of strikes at one time. The story goes that during a strike, a miner’s wife was heard by somebody to say, “Now we won’t be able to put the deposit on our house.” The person listening thought she was about to be cast out onto the street, and sympathised. She said, “Oh, we’ve got five.” They were saving people who were planning to be landlords and live very well in their old age, and like a lot of miners, they were buying houses for rental on the coast, far away from the no doubt comfortable but financially doubtful (because the capital gain wouldn’t be there) houses in the mining towns, where they lived themselves.
Mentioning capital gain brings up Caitlin’s idea that the landlord is “double dipping,” by being paid rent for a property and then selling it for an immense profit. That might happen sometimes, but like all business, there is an element of risk in it. If the property is in a declining area, the profit might not eventuate. Also, the capital gain isn’t nearly as big as it looks, because we forget about inflation.
Now we get onto the subject of rent. Dollyboy (in the comments) compares rent with usury. Well, “usury” is a religious expression, invented and used by people who were and are ignorant about economics. In economic terminology, rent is the payment for land or natural resources, and interest is the payment for capital (the built tools and machinery that lets us produce far more than we could with our bare hands). Profit, in correct terminology, is the payment for enterprise, the initiative of putting land, labour and capital together successfully to create products people want to buy – this has, I think, been written out of economics textbooks in recent decades because the Communists didn’t like it and because the mathematical economists couldn’t put it into figures. But it is still true. Wages, of course, are the payment for labour. It all makes good conceptual sense.
The expression, “rent-seeking” is sometimes used to describe people who want to use government power to get them an income they don’t really have much claim to. Governments do a lot of rent-seeking, as for example when someone or some company spends a lot of time and effort finding a natural resource or developing a new industry. Government is there in a flash, demanding a cut. Machiavelli warned “the prince” against overdoing this, five hundred years ago.
I like what Caitlin says about the mass media. I think they should be considered part of a modern priesthood, people who live by deception. I include the “educators” and the judiciary as part of the priesthood also. Priests always team up with soldiers (people who live by using force) to form governments and control what I call “honest men” (including honest women by all means), who live by honest exchange. The great Adam Smith told us all about this, but he didn’t breath a word about soldiers and priests. The government can’t value their activities by production, so it values them in economic statistic by cost. They shouldn’t be counted as economic activity at all, because they aren’t. They’re successful crime.
Caitlin and a lot of the commentators obviously think that our system is crashing. I’ve been thinking that for fifty years or more, but it hasn’t happened yet. Sometimes corrupt societies don’t crash, but are instead infiltrated by healthier people. The original race is simply displaced. That may be what is happening to us. Remember that the Moslems once advanced into Spain; then they became corrupt, and were driven out again. The Romans conquered a huge area, but practised multiculturalism and used immigrants to do the dirty jobs, just like the modern Americans, and as a result, their empire broke up and disappeared. That looks to be happening again.

    1. ….many ‘landlords’ in america are small-time ‘owner-operators’… they provide a service that would cost at least twice as much if the some bank$ter-puppet government apparatchik were ‘providing housing’…

    2. ..i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to direct my previous post at you… your thoughts are very insightful…

  36. When I was 9 years old my parents bought a 4 unit apartment building.Growing up I spent many of my weekends cleaning, painting and yard work on those awful apartments – cleaning up after grown adults. I got suckered into working on them decades into my adulthood also, but at least as an adult I got paid. When someone couldn’t or wouldn’t pay their rent it would take months to be able to evict them all the while my parents still had to make their payments on the building. I was so relieved when my mother sold them a little over 20 years ago for not a lot of profit if any. You apparently have no idea what it costs to remodel and maintain a property.
Most of the stimulus money for the fake pandemic went to the already extremely wealthy. I did not get a stimulus check but I understand some non-US citizens from other countries did. I don’t think we can say “on the tax payers dime” anymore because they are creating money with nothing to back it up.
Not all landlords are rich which you are assuming. Not everyone wants to own their own home. Some like to move when things become too dirty so they don’t have to clean it up. Some people don’t stay in one area very long so it isn’t practical to own. Some don’t like yard work and other responsibilities so they rent…
My powers of discernment are strong enough that I can figure out who to trust on topics that I am not formally educated in.

    1. Also, the moratorium on evictions was another way for the control freaks to take out the middle class.
I forgot to mention the funnest thing of all about those apartments – occasionally the basement flooded and the sewer backed up… ankle deep in it!

Caitlin Johnstone wrongly blames capitalism for inequality, war, homelessness and many problems which are truly caused by our money system.

Presto!

    1. Capitalism is “a cut of the take” stolen from other countries at gunpoint while Marxism is a “sharing the wealth” of the impoverished masses after all the corporations and their jobs move to other countries.

Personally, I’m holding out for something better.

      1. …how about an egalitarian society where we have honest, open, VIGOROUS ‘competitions of ideas about government’ to decide who assumes ‘government officialdom’…whereby the wisest people can rise instead of a bunch of [mostly unwitting] puppet$, etc. goddamned fools galore, for some secret-squirrel bank$ter$…

…how about an egalitarian society where newly-created money is issued to individuals pro-rata instead of unelected bank$ter$ directing ALL the money [thus our lives largely] in ‘the first round’?….

“While boasting of our noble deeds we’re careful to conceal
the ugly fact that by an iniquitous money system we have
nationalized a system of oppression which, though more refined,
is not less cruel than the old system of chattel slavery.”

  38. The people have spoken! They’ve told their government that the trillions in bailouts given to the bankers early in the pandemic is “payment in full” for all real estate. People are staying in their homes.

Wait a minute; why is there still so much violence in our new Utopian society? “He got a bigger house than I did and he doesn’t even have a family!” Why did she get more land than me and where will I grow my gardenias?” “Why won’t they feed us too?”

No matter what options they are given, the brainwashed will always end up creating the world envisioned by their owners. We must first take back our own minds…

  39. “I’m not going to just accept other people’s analysis on faith if I can’t verify it for myself.”

That is exactly what science is. Antone doing this is a scientist. Anyone who is not doing this is not a scientist.

    1. That is no longer literally true. Beginning in the early 20th century, science ceased to be merely a practice, it was turned into a professional career, and thus became subject to credentialism, careerism, and political manipulation, among other degenerative influences. You have the idea of science, but today much of science has to be taken on faith — with the bad effects that go along with that.

      1. I think we agree, but in telling people that science *is* now careerism and manipulation you are contributing to the degeneration. What science is has not changed, and it must be defended against the malign influences you identify.

  40. It’s called the FIRE sector. That’s finance, insurance and real estate; all parasitic, all should be minimized or nationalized. Just the thought that one person should own the home of another, let alone many others appals the mind, let alone the heart. These people produce no wealth, nor do they provide a useful necessary service; they are a load on the real economy. All the classical economists knew that; from Adam Smith who has been turned into Winston Smith to John Stewart Mill’s etc., all wanted to see the end of unnecessary load’s on the economy. Since you live in the neo fascist nation of Australia, you should read Steve Keene and learn how economists really works. The whole system is a giant fraud.

The obvious solution to our economic crisis has been beautifully explained in Prof. Stephanie Kelton’s bestseller, The Deficit Myth.

A New York Times Bestseller The Deficit Myth
Modern Monetary Theory and the Birth of the People’s Economy

The leading thinker and most visible public advocate of modern monetary theory — the freshest and most important idea about economics in decades — delivers a radically different, bold, new understanding for how to build a just and prosperous society.

Stephanie Kelton’s brilliant exploration of modern monetary theory (MMT) dramatically changes our understanding of how we can best deal with crucial issues ranging from poverty and inequality to creating jobs, expanding health care coverage, climate change, and building resilient infrastructure. Any ambitious proposal, however, inevitably runs into the buzz saw of how to find the money to pay for it, rooted in myths about deficits that are hobbling us as a country.

Kelton busts through the myths that prevent us from taking action: that the federal government should budget like a household, that deficits will harm the next generation, crowd out private investment, and undermine long-term growth, and that entitlements are propelling us toward a grave fiscal crisis. MMT, as Kelton shows, shifts the terrain from narrow budgetary questions to one of broader economic and social benefits.

With its important new ways of understanding money, taxes, and the critical role of deficit spending, MMT redefines how to responsibly use our resources so that we can maximize our potential as a society. MMT gives us the power to imagine a new politics and a new economy and move from a narrative of scarcity to one of opportunity.”

  41. “The oligarchic empire is ratcheting up authoritarian control with the goal of trapping us in an Orwellian dystopia so gradually we don’t notice.” Like finally achieving a worldwide ban of all independent voices – on all mediums – which ramped up, extremely, during the Hope and Change administration, i.e., “people should [NOT] be allowed to discuss this stuff on social media.” https://www.salon.com/2010/01/15/sunstein_2/
Robert Parry (2016): “So, who are the ‘responsible’ journalists who should be anointed to regulate what the world’s public gets to see and hear? For that Orwellian task, a kind of Ministry of Truth has been set up by Google, called the First Draft Coalition, which touts itself as a collection of 30 major news and technology companies, including the Times and Post, tackling ‘fake news’ and creating a platform to decide which stories are questionable and which ones aren’t.” https://consortiumnews.com/2016/11/18/what-to-do-about-fake-news/ And Now, Newscasters Agree: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TM8L7bdwVaA

  42. Caitlin, please, enough with your “I’m bad at science” excuse to claim ignorance about “what’s going on with Covid perfectly.” If you really believe that a lack of detailed knowledge about very narrow scientific specialties excludes you from applying your highly developed critical thinking skills, then you have no business commenting on AI or mass electronic surveillance (because you’re not a computer scientist), use of herbicides or genetically modified foods (because you’re not a biochemist), or the use of nuclear weapons (because you’re not a nuclear engineer). Do you have to be a PhD psychologist to recognize a psyop when you see one? To paraphrase Bob Dylan, you don’t need to be a meteorologist to know which way the wind blows. What worries me most about your “claim of ignorance” is that you wittingly or unwittingly are making the “appeal to authority” logic error and you are exposing yourself to tyranny by so-called scientific experts. I read what you wrote about rents today not because of your economic credentials or expertise, but because I appreciate your critical thinking skills, your ability to synthesize vast quantities of disparate information, and because you write powerfully. No single scientist or MD is an absolute authority about COVID vaccines, yet they daily bombard us with messaging that supports the Imperial Narrative. We expect you to provide an antidote to their totalitarian medical science. You don’t have to be a virologist to do that. Please don’t fail us now.

    1. And why don’t you leave the girl alone? She does her best and she’s good at what she’s doing. And entertaining on top of it. Lovable too. Why do you want her to write what YOU fucking want when a lot of people do it better than she ever could anyhow because it’s their field of research?
      https://www.globalresearch.ca/the-killer-vaccine-worldwide-7-9-billion-people/5749363
Pass it around if you’re concerned! “Please don’t fail us now”. What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Trying to extract a guilt feeling here? Manipulative sociopath perhaps? Why don’t you try to give people around you some oxygen, see how it goes? Keep me posted :o)

      1. Your supposed ‘first-class scientist’ is an economist, and his nonsense about “the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine which is being imposed on all humanity” shows he’s an ignoramus to boot. Only two of the current COVID vaccines are RNA-based, and if anything, they’re being withheld from much of humanity.

        1. As Winston Churchill once famously answered to a gentleman in the Commons, “there’s two of them and they bounce”. Pfizer and Moderna both use mRNA and they’re the most widely used vaccines in the US, now even trying to supplant AstraZeneca and Janssen in the EU.
          https://www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/what-mrna-how-pfizer-moderna-tapped-new-tech-make-coronavirus-n1248054
If you mean by “withheld from much of humanity” that they’re not available in Russia and China that have their own vaccines and much of the Third World for various reasons, well… (see above :o)

          1. The article’s third sentence reads, “Numerous scientific studies published independently confirm the nature of the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine which is being imposed on all humanity.”
You seem to agree that’s complete bollocks, as nobody’s imposing RNA vaccines on Russia, China, or much of the Third World.
Which leaves me wondering about your motives in posting a link to the article with apparent approval.

  43. “If it requires no scientific smarts, like knowing soldiers shouldn’t be policing civilians in Sydney, then I’m on it. If it does then I’m kind of lost. What’s weird is my husband/collaborator is just as bad at that stuff as me; we haven’t got a scientific brain between us.” That is why your writing is so valuable. That is truth.

There is such a “thing” as scientific method of proof. It basically states that if something happens over and over again the exact same way all the time every time, then it becomes truth. For example, gravity pulls on objects at 9.8 meters per second squared every time all the time on earth. Since it always acts the same in nature then it becomes a “Law of Nature”. That’s science. Climate change does not do that. That’s how we know it is bullshit. Climate change is about money… and fear. Get under your desks children…. the Russians are coming.

Not sure why you are feeling it necessary to fall on your “bad at science” sword, but we both know that science is overrated, and is simply another tool for the elite to manipulate the masses.
And as a reminder, you don’t need to explain, defend, justify or compromise your choices to know what you know, though I’m certain the pressure on you to parrot certain narratives must be intense.
Better to continue to develop our own additional channels of communication which come from our greater selves, and which information we need not question.
Those channels are developing and creating new pathways in our brains and psyches, and are not subject to the usual manipulations that all of our other objective channels are, and therefore, are indelibly our own, and without fail, can be trusted like our own personal gospel.
Don’t doubt yourself and for god’s sakes, don’t apologize to the great unwashed masses.

  45. There are legitimate rents and forced-rents, through monopoly. The owner of 4 houses who rents them and takes care of them and gets stiffed on rent by people who trash a house and report him/her for code violation is an honest and necessary economic participant.
If you discover that you must get a new “vaccine” every 6 months to be able to stay alive and have some variation on the life you have known, that is potentially a coercive and illegitimate “rent”.
Whenever a monopoly or cartel is formed to extract rent coercively, it will do so, will buy off regulators, will grow cancer-like. The Military Industrial Complex is an example. Agribusiness with green-revolution seeds and chemicals is another.
The success of this Rentier business model chokes an economy to death, even if there is plenty of oil, water and easily mined ore, which is waning, because the easiest and best has been used by now.
    That’s where we are.
The word “rent” is not the thing.
    Understand the process.
Make wiggle room as you can.

  46. Thoroughly agree with (almost) everything you say here. The bit about rent being a scam isn’t as daft as it first sounds. But taken in the context of the greater scheme of a working, fairly balanced society, you are right. Renters don’t own anything, they borrow, temporarily. Ownership equals power but also creates its own brand of tyranny via greed. Remember, J.J. Rousseau said it rather eloquently, “The first person who, having enclosed a plot of land, took it into his head to say this is mine and found people simple enough to believe him was the true founder of civil society.” And he of course doesn’t use “civil society” in the positive sense, more like it is ‘against nature’. ,,, The notes are sorta ‘random’, but then again, you did say they were notes! Many good points made therein as well; reading some of your material gives me a few more arrows for my quiver when I get in my next argument with one of the (many) sheeple zombies who I encounter.

  47. Perspective is EVERYTHING !
You made a lot of good points about a lot thing’s from renting and the whole left and right crap but we know it’s gone way beyond a bullshit virus and politics.
Yes our elections have been deliberately been rigged forever but the lack of political knowledge, History and a shit load of distractions with high I won’t list because there are too many to list and i’ll become distracted if I do..
It’s all about keeping the masses dumbed down, and in control via elections and stealing our children, so there it’s been said unapologetically.
We don’t need to be getting trapped in their idiotic propaganda and insecurities.
They’re petrified of losing control, like the silly little Mr. Wizard of Oz standing on a stool trying to be powerful.
They want us divided in order to conquere..and giving in to the sheer fear of capitulating is about as handy as a set of tits on Dim wit Daniel Andrews.
If we ALL simply said NO…WE DO NOT CONSENT..and just rightfully arrest them and take them off the stage in a manner of speaking & no I’m not suggesting or “INCITING” violence.
We’ve all been had, brainwashed, stooged on every level so yes we are in this together and we could learn to stop playing INSANE GAMES immediately by not being competive with one another because that’s half the price right there.
    Left vs Right
    White vs Coloured etc..
From religion to how many car’s and kids, it’s all one big game to them and we’ve bought into their shit since forever, and the time has come to stop being their EXPERIMENTAL CRASH TEST DUMMIES for nothing more than their entertainment… it’s a sport to them.
I’m not in denial, stupid or a list, i am a concious being that has been through it with everyone else, but I chose to do something about it instead of sitting on my assets and crying woe is me and what am I going to do and who can I blame now for everything that’s happening to me…boo’fkng’hoo….GROE A PAIR…STAND UP, TAKE YOUR GODLY POWER BACK, RISE TOGETHER AND SAY NO MORE !!!

    1. FYI, buying a house as a live in home through the bank’s is just as big of a scam if not more so than renting.
Too many details to mention here but it’s another one of the biggest scams going around.
We should all know “THE STRAW MAN” by now…
The poor spend and the rich invest and that’s the only difference between the two on a financial level.

  48. Frankly, that was ignorant.

  49. Not everyone can buy or wants to buy housing. Some people just need a place for a short term, and it makes no sense for such people to buy. Others just like the convenience of not having to worry about maintenance, property taxes, and insurance, or they wish to invest in something other than a mortgage. In any case, no one is forced to sign a lease. Once you sign, you are legally and morally obligated to fulfil your part of the deal.

Rent is no more a “scam” than having to pay for anything else you want or need. Refusing to pay the rent you agreed to is theft.

    1. You must be another one kissing the shroud of Turim.

  50. The richest institution on this world and free from taxes and fees is the Vatican. It’s the landlord who offered America to UK for rent and South America to Spain and Portugal for rent as well. Africa had several tenants as Asia in equal measure. Your revolutionaries are full of shit and you don’t know what you are talking about. The curse of all revolutionaries is lack of knowledge which is exactly the source of power of all landlords working to the Vatican. It’s interesting to see till today no one aim the gun to the real dark lord. One word from the dark lord and Palestine is free from Israel. One word from the dark lord and EU can succeed without American interference. One word from the dark lord and the Cold War is over. The dark lord sees and listen to everything. He mastered the art to hide in the shadows for centuries. He was the one who shaped the world in medieval times. He was the one who decided how to rewrite history on his own benefit because all books were in his power before Gutenberg. He had a hard time collecting knowledge, slaughtering and burning entire communities, cities not in accordance to the new world. Fuck this nonsense revolution. The exit door is hidden from idiots.

    1. If you see two white coats knocking on your door, run for it!

  51. I don’t understand rocket science but I still believe humans have walked the Moon.

When Dr’s, Nurses, Hospitals, Scientists from all over the globe are crying out for us to take precautions including getting a vaccine – listen, don’t threaten them with a lynch mob.

When countries all around the planet that have diametrically opposed political ideologies are using lock downs, PPE and vaccines to try and reduce the R factor it is not a conspiracy, unless you think that the likes of China, Russia, Vietnam, Iran etc are now US aligned…

Of course, capitalists are going to capitalise and not waste a good crisis to profit from suffering we must always fight that.

    1. If you believe humans have walked the moon, you immediately disqualify yourself as a world-class sucker and probably also believe that JFK was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald and RFK by Sirhan-Sirhan. I wouldn’t boast about that if I were you cuz it just shows poor researching capacities and a logic-proof 100% propagandized hive-mind – like you’ll have to give a convincing explanation to why the “moonlanders” then spent over half a century and counting loafing with foreigners in a space station 400 kms from Earth and now want to start from scratch a new moonlanding operation with Elon Musk if he’s not stabbed in the back by Jeff Bezos first. If they have the technology to send humans on the moon, all they need is for Musk or Bezos to pay for the gas (last time I checked, kerosene was 0.78 bucks a liter).
As to the Covid scam and “vaccine”, I advise you, instead of assuming from bullshit premises, to read carefully this pretty exhaustive exposé by a first-class scientist which sums up with brio what those of us who were attentive have been able to observe day after day for 18 months:
      https://www.globalresearch.ca/the-killer-vaccine-worldwide-7-9-billion-people/5749363
And never forget, of all the people who’ve got nothing to say, the nicest ones are those who don’t say anything :o)

      1. And the one’s who keep this this insane fiasco going.
I can’t believe the level of indoctrination, it’s been a real eye opener for us.

      2. Your artice about a “first class scientist” links to an article by an economist. Economics is a social science, not one based in the essential reality of how physical systems work. Quote: “Michel Chossudovsky is an award-winning author, Professor of Economics (emeritus) at the University of Ottawa.” Therefore, I reject your premise because the person you are citing is not a scientist.

        Reality:
On TV, I saw the immediate aftermath of JFK being shot. I have no reason to believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was not the shooter. I am not in a position to draw conclusions about why he did it.

I saw RFK shot on live TV. I do believe Sirhan Sirhan did it. I am not in a position to speculate on how he came to do it.

I saw Neil Armstrong take the first steps on the moon on live TV after saying, “This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”. If you have only seen the edited recording that leaves out the barely audible “a,” then you have been subjected to revised history. Seriously, in 1969, faking the Apollo 11 moon landing would have been technologically more challenging that just going there.

If you believe all of those things are faked and shrouded in vast conspiracies, well that is kind of cute. You have more faith in the ability of humans to keep a secret than I have ever witnessed.

But it is also a huge load of bullshit to swallow.

        1. Excuse me for calling a professor of social science a scientist.
Anyway, have you ever wondered why Jackie Kennedy stretched over the trunk of the limo?
Was she looking for the exit, a life boat?
Watch the Zapruder film again and think about that…
Then we’ll talk about the rest, like RFK’s autopsy…
Of course if you work at Langley, forget all I said :o)

          1. Apply Occam’s Razor, my friend. Complicated plots are hard enough to pull off, and then there is the complication of keeping the thousands of people who had to be in on it from blabbing. Those CT’s you are pushing are, in a word, crazy.

Yes, I have seen the Zapruder film. But I also saw RFK shot on live TV and saw Neil Armstrong walk on the moon.

    2. You are full of shit.

      1. It’s the pot calling the kettle black! :o)

  52. Love these “Notes from the Narrative Matrix.” It’s a truly artful way of cutting through a lot of the psy-ops and narratives by simply generating a series of polemical and essentially poetic paradoxes for people to chew on.

    Art meets politics.

    Love it.

  53. The idea of rent being evil is simple usury… like what the Jews and the Christians once hated, now encouraged. It presupposes that money too is a bad thing. Which it is. Scrap the idea. It’s bullshit. As for not understanding the science “facts” about COVID, it’s a disinformation swamp but luckily you can sideline all that horseshit and rely on ethics. A totalitarian regime is generally considered a bad thing and that’s what they’re trying to bring in. The science is the garden salad on the side.

Sorry, Caitlin. You lost me with “mandatory vaccines would be a violation of bodily sovereignty.” Your “bodily sovereignty” ends when you don’t give a fuck about spreading a deadly plague to other people, just as someone who knowingly engages in unprotected sex when they have AIDS and keeps that little fact a secret, knowing they will infect the people they are lying to about it is committing a crime. I understand why people don’t trust the government. I don’t trust the government. But I do trust science. The government is lying about what the science says deliberately in order to coerce the working class back into sending their kids to death trap schools so that they can go back to work for Amazon or Tesla. Then the kids bring Covid back home and it kills grandma. How about grandma’s “bodily sovereignty”? I’m waiting to hear.

    1. But that’s just it. We don’t give a fuck about spreading a deadly virus. Freedom trumps safety. Sorry.

            https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/editor-chief-germanys-top-newspaper-apologizes-fear-driven-covid-coverage?

    3. It seems all vaccinated people now are dynamic vectors to spread covid. All unvaccinated conspiracy theorist and researchers defenders are not dynamic vector infecting people. If you cannot see between the lines and what lies beyond, you are just lost and denying your level of stupidity beyond measure. One day you will wake up for who the fuck knows about what.

      1. Could you get someone to translate this non sequitur bullshit into proper English please?

        1. No one speaks nor writes a proper English in America you fucking dumbass.

          1. However, I’ve read a lot of American stuff that makes a lot of sense, which is definitely not the case of your moronic ramblings.

    4. I’ve had more mandatory vaccines than I can remember. Last time was at Fort Knox in a big room with the rest of my platoon. Nobody turned into a magnet.

      1. Maybe, like me, you’ve had vaccines that had been properly tested (like yellow fever and kid stuff), not experimental shit authorized for emergency use only.
Besides the only emergency we’ve got is that the sucker has killed 0.05% of the world population in 18 months. Not even mentioning that this “emergency” is artificially maintained by the WHO whose chief scientist is accused in India of killing people by running a disinformation campaign about Ivermectin and risks the death penalty for it:
        https://www.thedesertreview.com/opinion/columnists/indian-bar-association-sues-who-scientist-over-ivermectin/article_
Those are the folks social media want us to bow to as the infallible priests of the new vaccine religion.

          1. I wonder what they’d have said if the guy had asked them to sign a petition to shoot the damn mofuckas instead of just arresting them :o)

        1. I listen to real doctors instead of internet crackpots. It’s much more effective.

    5. A true deadly plague would be recognized by all. That it is so much in dispute posits the unreality much more so.

  56. You are witnessing ‘Creative Destruction’ economics and societal collapse – mentioned many times by Alan Greenspan when he was head of the Rothschilds FED !

140 nations have joined the BRI and if you are not part of it – well – the Rothschilds will forever own you because they own the MONEY and the MEDIA and have for the last 200 years !

Rothschilds will do ANYTHING to stop the BRI – Rothschilds own NATO.

China will finance the BRI (already started ) and Russia is militarily invincible !!
Since Russia entered Syria in 2015 – 350 THOUSAND ……….ZIO/US funded – armed – trained terrorists have been turned into fertiliser – Russia in turn has had 112 casualties !

Let that sink in ……..350 THOUSAND ISIS ‘proxy terrorists’ – the plan was to kill or displace EVERY single Syrian and claim it for ‘Islamic State’ – which is – in fact the Stolen/Zionist/Apartheid state of ISRAEL which was STOLEN in 1948 by the ROTHSCHILDS and cleverly called ISRAEL in order to dupe all the Christians around the world .

Russia and China news outlets hardly mention the FLU – wrapped in the COVID label anymore !

China really hasn’t missed a beat and their economy grew by 8% since the whole BS started !

Culture hasn’t missed a beat in Russia or China either – culture and society are doing fine.

Why did China – Russia and Iran get hit so hard with a killer FLU which has evaded western nations ?

It is likely related to the ‘novel’ MERS virus in 2012 where a particular ‘ethnicity’ ( Arabs) were the only ones to catch it – how can this be ?

Because it was made in a LAB – that’s why !

There won’t be a nuclear war Caitlin – US made weapons won’t even leave the silos – Russia can stop it at the source !

Russia has been making the Soyuz rocket engines since 1966 ( US has NEVER been able to develop a rocket engine ) and the US has to buy them off Russia to go anywhere near space !

The US Mars ‘rover’ is running around on Devon Island in the Arctic circle – NOT Mars !

    1. Your observations are correct!

I think it’s important to remind people that the Western financial oligarchy really doesn’t have it in the bag. However, a very large scale demoralization and disinformation campaign constantly pummels the citizens of the Western world , so there is a genuine disconnect with what’s actually happening in the real world, and what people with Euro-centric views think is happening.

The whole US strategy of China “containment” is a purely imperial strategy. However, it’s not really American per se, it’s the Anglo-American financial establishments capture of the US government. The people can still take back their government. The great demoralization campaigns and psy-ops have been geared to making them all believe there’s nothing they can. The militarization of the capitol is a good example of this, but one could argue that this is not a sign of strength, but in fact a sign of great weakness.

A multi-polar alliance and new financial reorganization is the only thing that can break the power of the City of London and Wall Street financial system.

In 1944, Roosevelt organized the Bretton Woods agreements, which created an new international monetary system based on fixed exchange rates. The purpose was to allow for long term lending for the kind long-term infrastructure development program in the US to be extended to the third world. This was sabotaged when Nixon, under the direction of George Schultz and others, got him to drop the exchange rate and float the currency. It made long term investment in real economic development impossible because of the fluctuations. And it now meant that private firms and financial interests could manipulate the currencies of other countries, and even crash them if they were really not willing to play ball, as in the case of Malaysia, or Italy when it was being pressured into accepting the euro (George Soros bought a lot of the Italian currency and the suddenly sold it off and crashed the currency. This resulted in Italy submitting to the euro regime).

A new Bretton Woods with a financial reorganization of their banking systems ie writing off all the toxic paper, would then allow for a whole new era of cooperation around economic development. This is what the “Great Reset” Malthusians wish to prevent at all costs.

    2. You are full of shit.

  57. COVID-19 is a respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Researchers across the globe are working to develop a vaccine.
Currently, there are 138 candidate vaccines.
Today, there are 32 candidate vaccines in stage 3 clinical trials.
So far, 21 vaccines have been authorized across several countries.

  58. Rent is the biggest form of structural violence against the poor and lower middle class.

    1. …you need to learn who creates our money and how they do it…

  59. i’m gonna print this and put it on my front door. no wait! uhm…INSIDE the front door.
i need another year here until i move to sydney…oughta be safe there by then….
what up? people playing their diggery doos too loud?

viruses are NOT born at all. they are like capitalists w/o genitals…uh-huh. they need to grow eternally. so they need a place to make a factory for virus production.
they blow around being very light.. ad go in the noses of anything that hasone. mostly mammals. but some do this to plants also.
then they go in and make the cells manufacture zilions more viruses. these get coughed out or sneezed and they spread and do it again. some viruses also live inside us like guard dogs that attack certina asty bacteria. these are copacetic to humans and our friends lik acidophilus bacteria in our digestive tract.
is a cell was a stadium, a virus would be the football. so real small. it bangs against th walls to get in but it breaks and oy the laces get in. the stadium is full of beer and hotdogs floating and people who care. the laces lay down along the goal line and give instructions to the DNA officials to change the game to WE MAKE VIRUSES!
    that’s it.
the event triggers a 1,000 phone calls to the secret police called white blood cells and they come racing in to carry the viruses out. that works unless like in AIDS,where the viruses attack the white blood cells. oooops.
    white cells are like cops.
bummer. there are no black cells. only red white and blue. like a flag i heard of.
    sorry that’s all i got.
in real life, i’m hoping India acquires herd immunity and the deal stops right there.
would be nice. not likely but we’re due for some nice. my response to all this is single payer health care for the planet Erpthimdyinghere and let’s get this over with.
we need to tax assets to make those who won pay their winners’ tax.

  60. Earth will party after the Sixth Extinction.

  61. I would be happy to rent forever, if there were rentals available and the rent was reasonable. The big problem with property is not always so much the landlords, but governments that put massive statutory charges on rental properties-and I know this from a friend who has a bunch of commercial properties. One man I know has one of the cake shops in Acland St, St Kilda, in Melbourne. He has to pay $250 a year in rent, which is due to these charges. The biggest money-spinner for the Victorian government, I am told, is Stamp Duty. The next is WorkSafe, which allegedly hooks in $15 billion a year. And the thing is that under our lawful Constitution the States cannot raise taxes. So what goes on here? Systemic racketeering?

    1. $250k, that is. gary

      1. Errr… yeah, that’s a good term, systemic racketeering. Let’s say the rule is whoever’s got the money to pay for armed forces does what the fuck he wants as far as extortion money (whatever you want to call it, including taxes) is concerned, be it a medieval lord, a mafia boss or a modern head of state. The rest is window-dressing :o)

  62. Hey Caitlin, maybe one of your children could be the scientific mind on your team.

  63. Rent is welfare for the middle class.

  64. No doubt you’ve heard the old joke Geoff.
‘What’s the difference between a doctor and a plumber?
A doctor can bury her/his mistakes’
Doctors, scientists, religious leaders CEOs and politicians all have one thing in common.
They can’t be told, because they close their minds when they open their credentials.
They are converts to that ruthless realm of AUTHORITY and FORCE.
They are admired, respected and listened to. That often leads to delusions of grandeur.
Here we are at the beginning of the 21st century and all that AUTHORITY and FORCE has us on the doorstep of Armageddon.
Once upon a time healers and teachers did what they did for Love. For humankind.
    Not any more.
There’s lots of money to be made. There’s lots of kudos to be collected.
    Tragic, that.

  65. this u-tube, coming interestingly from the Juice Factory, but this is from the organisation, the guy that runs it.
He interviews a doctor on an island, talking about an important thing about Covid.
It is very good all round info to have.

    1. I work with people who wear masks and have chosen to get vaccinated, but for some reason object to ventilation, piling into cars with all windows closed, when the WHO belatedly agreed this virus is airborne over a year ago.

      1. Well, they were dumb enough to be infected with the experimental gene therapy and wear a self harming, useless mask. Why would you expect the behavior pattern to deviate from stupidity?

        1. You’re dumb enough to assume they had DNA or RNA jabs.

          1. “I work with people who wear masks and have chosen to get vaccinated,” That is assumption by replication.
