The ultimate goal of the US-centralized empire is to have such control over the world’s economic and financial systems that conventional warfare becomes obsolete, because they’ll be able to fully strangle any population which disobeys its dictates by cutting them off from money.

It’s a warped and perverse version of what we think of when we utter the phrase world peace; their version of “world peace” is a world where overt warfare is unnecessary because all disobedient populations can simply be quietly strangled to death via economic violence. The infrastructure for which is of course still guarded by a massively expensive military spread all around the globe.

The same power structures which enacted the rape of Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia etc are not going to carry us into a peaceful and harmonious world. They do not have the neurological wiring to do that, even if they wanted to. Their vision for our world is dark.

The notion that the real hero on the world stage is the government that’s waging nonstop disastrous wars and circling the planet with hundreds of military bases is an idea so complex and esoteric that the only people who can understand it are Ivy League university graduates.

Everything the western world believes about itself and its values is invalidated by its treatment of Julian Assange.

The civilizations with the most individualistic values are often guilty of the very worst collective crimes. The worst evils in our world right now are being perpetrated by the most individualistic societies, with the blame for wars, exploitation and ecocide being offloaded onto the collective even though it was all engineered by very few individuals within an individualist value system.

The saying “Socialism for the rich and rugged individualism the poor” is a dynamic you see play out not just with money, but with immorality as well. None of the world’s worst people are in prison; they inflict the evils and then offload their culpability onto the collective.

Believing America’s problems are caused solely by Republicans is like believing a homicide was perpetrated solely by the murder weapon.

The empire-building of the US-centralized power alliance is the single most destructive force on this earth. Anyone who is choosing this point in history to pour their energy into nuance policing anti-imperialists, as was recently done in this doofy Nation article the other day, is facilitating that destructiveness.

We are so very, very, very far from health on this front. When you’ve got mountains of bullshit to move, the person handing you a teaspoon and telling you to be exceedingly careful with how you move it is helping to keep the bullshit in place. When you’re this far from the mark you need to be making huge movements, not tiny, surgical ones.

Most people get that the US is imperialist per the conventional definition: projecting power beyond its borders etc. Not enough people get that it’s also functionally a literal empire per definition: the hub of a group of nations ruled by a single power structure. It’s imperialist, and it’s also imperial, meaning an actual empire.

It might prove more useful for anti-imperialists to begin emphasizing the term “empire building” over “imperialism” if they want to avoid the “Herpa derpa China and Russia are imperialist too” red herrings. Yes those nations project power beyond their borders to some extent, but only one nation is the center of a hegemonic globe-spanning power structure enforced by hundreds of military bases around the planet.

So when I talk about “the US empire”, I’m not being hyperbolic or exaggerating to make a point. I’m talking about the thing that it is, in the only context in which you can explain the major international conflicts today: empire building.

Empire building is what you’re seeing when coups are staged and regime change wars launched to bring a nation into alignment with the US-centralized power structure. It’s literally adding a new member state to the empire. It keeps its name and its flag, but it becomes the property of the empire.

In old empires, powerful countries invaded weaker ones, taking ownership of the territory. In the new empire, the borders and names remain officially the same, but control is handed over in treaties, alliances, trade agreements, power-shifting coups, secret deals, etc.

International alliances are often thought of as matters of secondary importance, as just something governments do when possible to make themselves a bit safer, wealthier, etc. Actually, uniting nations into one power structure is the goal, and it’s what these “alliances” are really for.

When people ask why I talk about “America” instead of “Australia”, it makes as much sense to me as saying you should focus on California instead of America. It’s a member state of the same empire, forcefully absorbed and digested into the imperial blob via coup. I just focus on the empire’s head.

“China isn’t even a true communist country, Caitlin.”

I don’t care. I do not fucking care. My opposition to western escalations against a nuclear-armed nation have nothing whatsoever to do with communism. If you only oppose warmongering against communist nations, you’re a douche.

The way imperialists try to wedge and split people based on ideology is so fucking obnoxious. War is bad. Cold war is bad. Economic warfare is bad. Stop babbling about ideology. Not supporting mass murder has nothing to do with ideology.

People sometimes tell me I need to use my “platform” to advance this or that cause that is important to them, or in a different way than I do. For the record I have no platform. I don’t even have connections; in fact I actively avoid cultivating them. I have followers, and there are some outlets which periodically choose of their own initiative to re-publish my writings for free.

I write directly to the people, and the people decide how much that’s worth. The only reason anyone knows who I am is because regular people enjoy and share my work. You can do what I’m doing too; just don’t pester me to do it for you. If you don’t like how I write or what I write about, you’ve got ten typing fingers and access to all the same free blogging sites I use. Write it yourself. You have all the exact same tools I’ve got.

And I really do mean that; I wish there were a lot more people doing this. The world needs more indie media. If you see too few people doing it the way you think it should be done, please do jump in and help out with indie content creation. We need all the help we can get.

When you ask good spiritual teachers to show you the truth they will always point you back at yourself, insistantly and uncompromisingly. When you ask phony spiritual teachers to show you the truth they’ll find various (often clever and subtle) ways to point at themselves.

It’s a battle between truth and ego, for us as individuals and for humanity as a whole. It’s no coincidence that we’re currently ruled by psychopaths and sociopaths, disorders which sit on the extreme end of the narcissism spectrum. Humanity’s problems are literally ego run amok.

I have one observation and one question:

Observation: I very much enjoy your work. However, you seem to have a ton more faith in the “basic goodness” of humans than I. We have all of recorded history that indicates that humans are greedy, rapacious beings.

Question: You often speak of expanding consciousness. How does one achirve that? Meditation? And if so, any particular variety?

  3. The prince of death died today; normally I wouldn’t say anything even when shit dies, but all day, hundreds of spoofed numbers have been calling me non stop, and really if there really would be such a connection, the Mafia and Mossad, if there is any difference between the two, should expect more rain.

  4. Believing America’s problems are caused solely by Republicans is like believing a homicide was perpetrated solely by the murder weapon.

True! but Republicans always make things so much worse

  5. The Pope is now on board with Empire. Oh my God!

  6. “It’s no coincidence that we’re currently ruled by psychopaths and sociopaths, disorders which sit on the extreme end of the narcissism spectrum. Humanity’s problems are literally ego run amok.”
No indeed, it is not a coincidence. Those who are not psychopaths or sociopaths, and do not have egos run amok, have no notion of controlling others, whether nations or neighbors. The thought of holding a gun to people’s heads and forcing them to comply with a particular delusional “truth” is abhorrent to them. Ergo they do not seek such power, leaving only the mentally ill to do so. The mentally ill that by contrast desperately seek holding a gun to peoples heads, are therefore the ones holding the guns.

Abuse of women and children are at all-time highs as men lose, take drugs or alcohol to forget their lose of manliness and then take out their impotence on their loved ones.Returning vets from all the illegal wars resort to violence, murder and suicide to relief the demons their country subjected them. Events of American horrors in foreign- lands remain untelevised so we can sleep better the left and right should have a dialogue between them.instead they’re rivals. Its the perfect scenario the ruling elite want

    1. All time high compared to what. From historical standpoint it has never been lower. Children and women have been at the mercy of men for millenia.

      1. At least men have mercy for women and children, which they often do NOT have for other men. The reputation of men is quite similar to that of Pit Bulls. You are far more likely to be bitten by a Cocker Spaniel, they just don’t do as much damage as Pit Bulls. Currently the woman on man, and man on woman domestic violence is near on par. A woman isn’t likely to break a man’s jaw when she hits him hard as she can. Not for lack of wanting to though. There are few saints or demons among us (the latter mostly in government position), but we all do have components of both within ourselves. Keeping the saintly in dominance is our mission.

I think it would be helpful to think about history when you want to account for the United States of America. The native people had fallen well behind Europeans in knowledge and technology, so when Europeans made contact, there was in effect a whole new continent of resources to be developed and used. For reasons we needn’t go into here, the Spanish fell well behind the English in industrialising and militarising their new resources. After taking some land off the Spanish, the American Government eventually declared that “the frontier of settlement no longer existed,” so after that the American focussed more on trade and dominance in science and industry. They also planned to export the American system to the rest of the world through devices such as the United Nations.
The wars of the twentieth century and the development of the atomic bomb put the Americans in the position of being able to dominate the world. They did understand that an empire needs to have enemies if it is not going to get soft. I don’t know, but I suspect that the secrets of the atomic bomb were deliberately slipped to the Russians so that they could be an enemy. They had their forces parked across Europe and across Germany in particular. This meant that Germany could not have a third go at conquering the world. The Americans might have been shrewd enough to understand that the Communist system could never work well, and that this would hamper the Russians in their efforts to compete. I assume that the people at the head of the American Government were perfectly capable of reading Ludwig von Mises and F. A. Hayek, and knew that Communism couldn’t work.
After Russia eventually did collapse, the Americans looked around for another enemy, and apparently seized on the Moslem world. The Moslems resented Christian domination, there were a lot of them, but they were disorganised and faction-ridden. Their treatment of women made them ideal enemies for enlightened young Western women, who had the vote and were happy to endorse the idea of civilising them towel-heads.
Then a real potential enemy came along, in the form of China. The Chinese finally got smart enough to return to the market system to some degree, although the ruling “party” retained control. They stole technological knowledge, of course, as the Japanese had before them. But they caught up surprisingly quickly.
In the meantime, the Americans are still trying to dictate morality throughout the world, and to keep up militarily.
I don’t think we can make firm predictions about what will happen from here. The Chinese have some strengths, but so do the Americans. The Chinese seem to be making a mistake similar to that made by Germany in the lead-up to World War II, of seeing themselves as the master race, and being prepared to alienate a lot of their neighbours. So the story isn’t over yet.
Like Machiavelli, I am not much interested in raging about the morality of it, or imagining ideal societies that have never existed and probably can never exist. We are suffering from the poisonous effects of long prosperity. In other words, we are decadent. The Americans are suffering from a great deal of hubris along with it. But they are not a greater evil than, say, the Roman Empire. The feminine idea that everything would be wonderful if we could only stop evil people from being evil is, I think, a pipe dream. It is a wish to turn the Earth into something resembling a kindergarten. And whatever happens, that ain’t going to be it.

    1. You have it correct but people forever think the world should be otherwise. Some sort of utopia which will not occur until the seconf coming if Jesus Christ.

  9. Just casual observation of this planet’s inhabitants should inform the viewer that this so-called universe doesn’t exist independently of its creator as none of its creatures are capable of independent thought or will, therefore if everything in this world is nothing more than God’s imagination, then obviously we and the whole universe is nothing more than some shit head’s dream. Only creatures that can demonstrate that they have a will that is independent of the will of its apparent creator, can supply the proof that the universe really does exist. Good and bad doesn’t cut it, because that is nothing more than God doubting itself, until intelligent beings are capable of self thought this universe will not be able to fully materialize itself into full reality, it will remain eternally like a ghost neither here nor there. An eternal hell for all involved, which in reality is none at all, since none of us exist as anything other than as a figment of some asshole’s imagination.

  10. Some mommies don’t love their little boys, so the little brats being what they are become mean old psychopaths, and that’s a good thing, because there is nothing more beautiful than hatred and revenge upon the innocent. I suspect that narrative control began even before primates gained the ability of language, These things openly talk about our dumb shit kids being taught to believe that snow is black and failing that gray.
As we all know the Dodo bird was so stupid it deserved to go extinct, then we all became more enlightened and it wasn’t even our fault; it was those damn rats, dogs and cats we brought over that caused the birds’ demise. I can’t say as I can see a rat’s ass of a difference between saints and Satanists

  11. “Their vision for our world is dark” but there is light at the end of the tunnel because we have a brilliant, practical strategy for defeating the evil empire: The world’s great Liberator Yeshua said that His followers must aim their revolutionary tactics at the monetary system. As soon as they start doing that they become threats to the government which calls them traitors. That is what happened to Yeshua and His followers who were secretly arrested, tortured and executed one by one, starting with the supreme leader, Yeshua. Criticizing, complaining and condemning the evil empire is only the first step towards revolution. The fourth step is to start putting Yeshua’s strategy it will only take a small minority of activists to precipitate the coming implosion of our technocratic-military-industrial complex. Therefore, look out for and team up with those few wise, alert, well-informed, realistic, honest, responsible, frugal, cooperative people and start preparing rural, eco-friendly, communities necessary to survive and thrive when everyone else is trapped in the global control system. Read more of this here: http://www.wisdompage.com/2013%20Articles/Molyneaux%20essay.pdf:

    1. How will these rural, eco-friendly communities defend themselves against the global control system?

  12. First, if anyone thinks the US Empire is any different than past empires, they are mistaken. Even Ancient Rome would have countries travel to them vast distances to form friendship and alliances with them. Rome would pledge mutual protection and aid. Those who resisted were decimated. This is how empires operate. The US has acted in a normal manner for empires. What makes it so different this time is their ability by technology to shrink the globe to force their influence upon others. They will not be defeated but must collapse from within like all past empires.

    1. Ah, but everyone possible must resist to hasten that collapse. Moreover, I should want them to know precisely why they failed so miserably when the day comes. Make it clear to them why they failed and how we knew they were such phonies, even if they, perhaps, had themselves fooled–which seems an unlikely excuse. The ringleaders must not receive “get out of jail free” cards typically passed out by Washington. Not this time. Not with millions of lives methodically, ruthlessly taken over the decades I’ve spent on this earth.

      1. Ah. But history says otherwise except for a few who paid for their hubris with their life.

        1. You pick and choose only what you want to see, same as most others too fond of the status quo. This system has damaged far too many to last much longer. Wokeism is a stupid dysfunctional over-reaction. But humans learn from their mistakes, that is to say they seem to require making them before they learn anything. They keep making them so they are presumably learning something and change will result. It is the fate of every order to be overthrown.

  13. “When you ask good spiritual teachers to show you the truth” it should already be understood that the teachers believe in Spirit – as a starting point toward Truth. “When you ask good spiritual teachers to show you the truth” it should already be understood that true spiritual leaders will attempt to further your eyes toward an overall Spirit – and then, in turn, an actual God. (What would the spirit world be without the latter culmination? A dead zone?)

  16. If Communism ever comes up and you have to address it, know that there has NEVER been a truly communist country on the face of this planet. Communism is a hypothetical state wherein there are no employers and employees, as all enterprises are worker operated and managed and there is no money. There may in fact be no government, as the onus is on the citizenry to be self governing.

Countries like China and Russia explicitly stated that the goal was to work toward communism, with state capitalism as an intermediary phase. The USSR never left that phase, nor has China, instead having what they call ‘socialism with Chinese characteristics’.

The true difference between China and western capitalist nations is that in China, the government regulates markets and money. In the US, private, wealthy interests do that. Neither = freedom or power for the worker.

Professor Richard Wolff has many informative videos on the topic.

Please add Yugoslavia to your list of rape victims : it seems forgotten most often now, but it was NATO’s, that is the US’s, first “success” in its expanded post-Cold War vision, the demonstration case for removal of non-compliant nations; a socialist provocation in the midst of a Neo-liberal paradise.

  18. https://www.johndayblog.com/2021/04/all-power-off.html
How is power wielded in the Western World?
Power, as we know it, is the capacity to compel other people to carry out actions which are designated by the powerful.
There is the carrot of payment in money, goods, services or favors, and the stick of violence and/or deprivation.

Since WW-2 the financial power of global reserve currency status has rested with the American Federal Reserve banking system.
To participate in global markets, any entity needs to have $US to trade in goods and services.
To obtain $US an entity must provide something of value in trade for them.
To create $US the US Federal Reserve system has to promise to back those dollars up with other dollars later, and the US Federal Government promises to accept those dollars with a promise of paying them back later with a little extra for the privilege. That creates an exponentially expanding stock of $US in the world.

At some point there are more $US than the world needs or desires, so the world will want something else, like American goods and services.
When those dollars are repatriated to the US, they drive up the price of the goods and services the world wants, and they increase the number of dollars within the US.
If those dollars in the US circulate freely, then other prices are increased in the US. Inflation.
It is in the interests of those holding power to keep the world desirous of $US, or their structure of extracting goods and services from the rest of the world breaks down.

When President Nixon ran out of gold to back the $US (Vietnam war bled gold from the US) King Faisal of Saudi Arabia was induced to agree to only accept $US in payment for oil, (the Shah of Iran did the same) and to recycle any excess dollars into US Treasury debt.
    The Petro-Buck was created.

Threats to the Petro-Buck have included The Arab Oil Embargo (dealt with financially), the Iranian revolution (dealt with militarily and by secret agreements, then various forms of overt/covert warfare), the Iraqi sale of oil outside of the $US market (Iraq wars), the Libyan plan for a gold backed African currency outside the $US club (you know what Saddam got), and so on. A whole lot of violence has been needed to maintain demand for $US in the new millennium.
Violence did seem to be working, but more and more tribute-paying countries, tired of being bled are testing the Western Power Structure.
I sense that the time for a global reserve currency change is near. It stands to reason. We don’t use the Pound Sterling anymore.
    These regimes don’t last.

Resorting to violence to support a financial empire is a sign of weakness, not of strength.

Failure of violence is a further sign of weakness. Violence has failed to bring Venezuela back into the fold of blood donors to the Western Empire.
The extractive $US global trade network, the extraction mechanism, is now used as a means of violent coercion, starving the citizens of Venezuela, and depriving them of medicines and tools they need.

Futile gestures , like $US-sanctioning Russian and Chinese politicians are an embarrassing public display of terminal weakness.
They announce that the current financial regime is a throw-away, running on fumes, and that these “tough sanctions” are being displayed to convince the folks at home that the $US remains almighty, because they, most of all, need to stay convinced of that.

The rest of the world, including Russia, China, Iran, Turkey and India, has long been exploring global trade alternatives to the $US regime, and quietly testing them out. The most prudent course for TROTW is to take baby steps, as it is doing, and await a $US financial crisis, like 2008, then to just increase use of the alternative systems, and open them to other participants, free of charge, free of tribute extraction.

The US won’t be able to buy F-35s after that. Americans will have to bid global prices for anything that can be exported, as their wages become almost worthless, like in 1979, but with finality, this time.

The “Global War On Terror” has failed to solidify the US/Fed. as global hegemon for all time.
    What’s Plan-B?
Oh, that’s for our billionaire owners to decide amongst themselves.
Waddaya mean they are “not decision capable”?
Whaddaya mean, “we’re on our own”?
    Whadday mean, “useless eaters”?

  22. The Empire’s vision for the world’s future is a boot stomping on a human face,… Forever.

    1. But the boot has rainbow laces.

  23. No.
The Empire is stupid. It doesn’t have a goal. It doesn’t care about goals. It’s a borg. It goes blindly about its business, which is extracting wealth from the 99.99%. It looks for ways to accomplish this more efficiently.
What does it do with its accumulated wealth? Nothing. Its purpose is solely to accumulate more wealth.
The empire isn’t really an empire. It’s a bunch of idiot savants dedicated to one thing, self-aggrandizement, and they do that one thing with flair and expertise. All else flows from this. There’s no plan. The idiot savants don’t cooperate or collaborate, but because their purpose is the same it just seems as if they do.
If you think of it as the Empire of Stupid, as I do, things become clearer. The Empire of Stupid is a borg. How do you defeat a borg? Forget about the Voyager finale, you can’t lure a borg into a trap. The borg has already trapped itself. But because it’s stupid, and has no plan, it doesn’t know this. The worse things get for us 0.01%ers, the more the borg blunders into its own trap. Because ultimately there’ll be nothing left to extract. What then will the idiot savants do?
They’ll turn on each other. And such a scenario can only have one end.
Remember those epic fantasies in which the free world is threatened by a megalomaniac king, god, wizard, whatever, whose dream is to destroy everything utterly? I often wondered what the point was. What happens if they win? Would they then sit and play with the ashes? Har har har! Victory is sweet!
This is why the borg is so dangerous. Because it’s unthinking and stupid. And there can only be one end for humanity.

  25. “The empire-building of the US-centralized power alliance is the single most destructive force on this earth. “.
Caitlin, blame AUSTRALIA and almost every country in the world, for this sad statement of yours. Start by studying all countries in the world who give land to America for their military bases. Over ONE THOUSAND of them.

Even their “enemy” country Cuba gives the US part of their country. (Guantanamo Bay)

There are two US military bases currently in AUSTRALIA. One of them is operated by members of the United States intelligence community and another is operated by the United States Navy.

    1. That is the exact thing that I am explicitly talking about here.

      1. Thankful that you shine the light where you do. Just wish you would consider another perspective as to the worlds problems other than, “Humanity’s problems are literally ego run amok”. I just don’t see this as the case.

    2. Cuba doesn’t exactly give Guantanamo Bay to the empire. I expect they’d gladly take it back tomorrow if they could do so without massive retaliation, and probably failing.

    3. “Even their “enemy” country Cuba gives the US part of their country. (Guantanamo Bay)

Cuba never gave part of their country to the US.

Perhaps, first get your records of quite recent history, up to date.

Why don’t you heed your own advice and start studying the actual reasons why “all the

countries in the world who ‘give’ land to America” do so?

    4. Alliance with the prevailing empire by smaller countries and economies is normal throughout history. They are not stupid but smart. Either align with the empire or oppose them. Countries give land to the U.S. because the U.S. pays them, in one form or another – its really that simple, and cynical. But this has not been well documented at all. Pentagon/CIA advance teams do this all over Africa and the Middle East.
Notice the Pentagon cannot pass “an audit” – it doesn’t want to. It always has an extra 60 to 70 billion dollars of your money “off the books” to bribe reluctant leaders – who passes up 5 million in a briefcase, when if you don’t accept it, they invade and depose you anyway?
