You have a lovely voice. I need a cold shower.
How to live? Ask GOD, the utterance, the malediction, the noise cast forth by fools who say, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves. We have made a name for ourselves. All names when made become false at their birth.
Look to the sky! For there is no such thing, but lightening and darkening, but movement of the clouds and winds, the bringing down of rain and snow and sweeping up of air; tornadoing, hurricaining, typhooning and calming. Thou I shall name sky.
He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. A thing called God brought things called the animals to a thing called Adam; things with names all.
It is said, “Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” It worked like a charm.
May we see the gift that God has made for us.
May you experience the beauty of each moment that the babbling mind eclipses.
The mind is an arrogant pretender to God, covering what is with soft nonsense. Let it play unmolested, but not touch what is sacred.
