Ladies and gentlemen I have here at my fingertips indisputable proof that egregious election meddling took place in the United Kingdom on Thursday.

Before you get all excited, no, it wasn’t the Russians. It wasn’t the Chinese, the Iranians, Cobra Command or the Legion of Doom. I’m not going to get any Rachel Maddow-sized paychecks for revealing this evidence to you, nor am I going to draw in millions of credulous viewers waiting with bated breath for a bombshell revelation of an international conspiracy that will invalidate the results of the election.

In fact, hardly anyone will even care.

Hardly anyone will care because this election interference has been happening right out in the open, and was perfectly legal. And nobody will suffer any consequences for it.

Nobody will suffer any consequences for interfering in the UK election because the ones doing the interfering were extremely powerful, and that’s who the system is built to serve.

As of this writing British exit polls are indicating a landslide victory for the Tories. Numerous other factors went into this result, including most notably a Labour Party ambivalently straddling an irreconcilable divide on the issue of Brexit, but it is also undeniable that the election was affected by a political smear campaign that was entirely unprecedented in scale and vitriol in the history of western democracy. This smear campaign was driven by billionaire-controlled media outlets, along with intelligence and military agencies, as well as state media like the BBC.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has been described as the most smeared politician in history, and this is a fair description. Journalist Matt Kennard recently compiled documentation of dozens of incidents in which former and current spooks and military officials collaborated with plutocratic media institutions to portray Corbyn as a threat to national security. Journalistic accountability advocates like Media Lens and Jonathan Cook have been working for years to compile evidence of the mass media’s attempts to paint Corbyn as everything from a terrorist sympathizer to a Communist to a Russian asset to an IRA supporter to a closet antisemite. Just the other day The Grayzone documented how establishment narrative manager Ben Nimmo was enlisted to unilaterally target Corbyn with a fact-free Russiagate-style conspiracy theory in the lead-up to the election, a psyop that was uncritically circulated by both right-wing outlets like The Telegraph as well as ostensibly “left”-wing outlets like The Guardian.

Just as Corbyn’s advocacy for the many over the plutocratic few saw him targeted by billionaire media outlets, his view of Palestinians as human beings saw him targeted by the imperialist Israel lobby as exposed in the Al Jazeera documentary The Lobby. For a mountain of links refuting the bogus antisemitism smear directed at Corbyn, a lifelong opponent of antisemitism, check out the deluge of responses to this query I made on Twitter the other day.

This interference continued right up into the day before the election, with the BBC’s political editor Laura Kuenssberg flagrantly violating election rules by reporting that early postal votes had been illegally tallied and results were “looking very grim for Labour”.

The historically unprecedented smear campaign that was directed at Corbyn from the right, the far-right, and from within his own party had an effect. Of course it did. If you say this today on social media you’ll get a ton of comments telling you you’re wrong, telling you every vote against Labour was exclusively due to the British people not wanting to live in a Marxist dystopia, telling you it was exclusively because of Brexit, totally denying any possibility that the years of deceitful mass media narrative management that British consciousness was pummelled with day in and day out prior to the election had any impact whatsoever upon its results.

Right. Sure guys. Persistent campaigns to deliberately manipulate people’s minds using mass media have no effect on their decisions at all. I guess that’s why that whole “advertising” fad never made any money.

I am not claiming here that the billions of dollars worth of free mass media reporting that was devoted to smearing Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party had a greater effect on the election results than Brexit and other strategic stumbles in the party. I’m just saying that it definitely had a much greater effect than the few thousand dollars Russian nationals spent on social media memes in the US, which the American political/media class has been relentlessly shrieking about for three years. To deny that a media smear campaign the size and scope of that directed at Corbyn had an effect is the same as denying that advertising, a trillion-dollar industry, has an effect.

Which means that plutocrats and government agencies indisputably interfered in the British election, to an exponentially greater extent than anything the Russians are even alleged to have done. Yet according to British law it was perfectly legal, and according to British society it was perfectly acceptable. It’s perfectly legal and acceptable for powerful individuals to have a vastly greater influence on a purportedly democratic election than any of the ordinary individuals voting in it.

A free and healthy society would not work this way. A free and healthy society would view all forms of manipulation as taboo and unacceptable. A free and healthy society would not allow the will of members of one small elite class to carry more weight than the will of anyone else. A free and healthy society would give everyone an equal voice at the table, and look after everyone’s concerns. It certainly wouldn’t tolerate a few individuals who already have far too much abusing their power and wealth to obtain even more.

  1. Corbyn was beaten up continuously by the same media that spent 6 years demonizing Bill Shorten as leader of the Australian Labor party. Rupert Murdoch’s filthy, corrupt, media empire. Same results, when combined with other corrupt billionaires like Clive Palmer spending $60million on anti Labor advertising a month before the elections!

Unfortunately it’s not just Murdoch who has been manipulating the gullible in Australia for many decades. Our own public broadcaster toes the (elite imposed) line, especially when reporting on imperialist aggression around the world. What I find really infuriating is that when the ABC and probably the Murdocrasy are discussing possible election outcomes they use the phrase “on a two party preferred basis…….blah, blah, blah” Who is the entity that is ‘preferring’ these two parties? Why is it even acceptable to use such a phrase?

    2. Was it Dr Joseph Geobbles who said… give me control of the media and I will make them a nation of pigs? No doubt the Corpo-rat, wealthy class media can and does brainwash the masses daily no -stop. US has one party really… the CORPORAT party they buy elections pay bribe lobby etc and the CALL it democracy!!!! The Great Satan is the USA never doubt in now

  2. I only know Corbyn from what I read in various mainstream and alternative news outlets and most of them portray him as someone who is , if not “anti-Semitic” (meaning anti-Jewish), very soft on those who are. He has met with a number of anti-Israeli groups around the world who included unapologetic Holocaust deniers and when asked about it, instead of suggesting that he works with them despite their stance on that subject, he meekly dismisses the charges with “I don’t know about that.” responses. He also heads up a party that inevitably is going to contain a lot of anti-Jewish votes that he can’t afford to offend; the Quran (5:33) calls for the death and dismemberment of Jews and in Tabari 7:97, the “prophet” Mohamed tells his people to kill all the Jews in the areas he controls; Corbyn knows that the party that counts on followers of Mohamed for an increasing share of its support can’t object to any of that very loudly. So he’s not in a very good position to separate anti-Zionism from anti-Jewish sentiment. With the more emotional opponents of Zionism (which I’ve always considered a dumb idea that is unjust in many of its interpretations) calling anyone who disagrees with them on ANYTHING and happen to be Jewish “Zionist scum” Corbyn would have to be condemning his supporters on a regular basis to prove that he’s really bothered by anti-Jewish hatred. But more than that, from his dismissive tone of voice and mannerisms, I suspect that he’s not; he simply doesn’t view it as something worthy of his attention. So even if the military-industrial-financial establishment (which has plenty of reason to fear Boris’s Brexit stance, unless they have him secretly bought or blackmailed) targeted him with this label, he and the demographics of his party made it easy for them.

    1. I suggest you read the Talmud…full of horrific, Jewish supremacist verses and advice, admonitions. Corbyn is a decent, thoughtful, profoundly anti-racist man who deeply values human rights, equality, and justice. But I am cynical enough to believe nothing I or anyone else says will change your mind.

So apparently, if you don’t agree with Netanyahu’s politics, then you are called an antisemite. Of course this smear means that half the Israeli population — which opposes Netanyahu — is comprised of antisemites.

The Rabbi and Executive Board of the United European Jews, who wrote that supportive letter to Corbyn, have to be a bunch of antisemites too.

It seems that the most serious problem facing the Jewish Diaspora is the perplexing dilemma of not being able to criticize the policies of the Israeli government without being labelled as a traitor or absurdly, anti Semitic. The most prominent anti Semites are the Zionists who own the mass media.

    1. So, yes, Caitlin is correct. See the post-election poll.

  4. I agree that Corbyn was smeared and bullied and called anti-semitic with no basis. But on the flip side look at all the celebrities that publicly supported Labor.

The fact is that Corbyn went against his personal values to try to stop the results of a democratic referendum. Not to mention the Labor support base lecturing everyone about being racist and misogynist. Working class voters don’t care about pronouns and transgender bathrooms. Go woke go broke isn’t just a cute catchphrase.

  5. “This interference continued right up into the day before the election, with the BBC’s political editor Laura Kuenssberg flagrantly violating election rules by reporting that early postal votes had been illegally tallied and results were “looking very grim for Labour”.

Yes, well they’ve been doing it forever anyway. Not everyone is influenced by it. At least they’re British Caitlin. How’s life Down Under? I don’t want Aussie’s interfering in the election either.

I thought the above was a big nothingberger actually. And those who tried to dish the dirt on Kuenssberg by exposing her also broke the same rules that she allegedly did in exposing her.

I didn’t vote, but not because of the MSM. I was going to vote Labour, but I didn’t vote in the end because my own Labour MP (Ashworth) trashed Corbyn only a few days before the election. He still retained his seat. They’re all just as bad as each other IMO.

    Caitlin
The elites you referenced correspond to the supporters of PRIVATE CENTRAL BANKS and Israel. They had a double agenda:

    1) Stop Brexit and
    2) Destroy Corbyn and any traditional grassroots labour holdovers committed to workers’ rights and international solidarity (i.e. Palestine)

Stop Brexit has not been realized. However, even after the election, the Remainers are gathering forces to water down any Brexit package that Boris puts forward so that it will be “Brexit in name only”. Be fully assured they will use their friends in Media, Parliament, Military and Intelligence agencies to once again employ every dirty trick available to them. The battle is not over.

Stop Corbyn and root out labour holdovers has been a success. They have once and for all destroyed the old Labour Party. However, the success did not come from labeling Corbyn an antisemite, it came from manipulating Labour to abandon Brexit and sever its relations with traditional working-class voters who voted overwhelmingly for Brexit during the original referendum.

The drivers for this policy were Labour Friends of Israel and the existing Blairites, which are actually one and the same group.

So let’s get this clear. Whatever you feel about Socialism, Corbyn was the best chance in sixty years that the Labour Party and the UK would get a true socialist government. However, Labour Friends of Israel and the Blairites chose Israel and one-world government (i.e. their respective pet projects) over a Labour Party victory and true socialism in the UK, which means they never worked for the working-class people of the UK and instead represented the interests of a foreign government and foreign investors.

The good news is that they have finally been exposed.

  7. Caitlin was just beginning to build some credibility with me until this laughable article. I guess she somehow managed to overlook the constant anti-Boris stance of the Guardian, the BBC, the Independent, etc. Apparently, Caitlin has an agenda just as (sadly) other journalists do, and objectivity must yield to that agenda.

Caitlin, along with many other people, had hoped that Britain would pull out of the coalition for destroying sovereign countries stop it’s murderous international behaviour. I can understand a bias towards achieving that.

  8. You guys do know that they are getting all their money to smear people from your wallets right? Because you’re using their platforms like Youtube and Apple Podcasts and Patreon and Paypal and Amazon to sell books. It’s your money they’re using to smear you. Facebook and Twitter and their advertisers are directing their ads at you and you still use their platforms and encourage others to also. You’re part of the problem, not party of the solution. The solution is in the streets not online. You’re all just masturbating. Like me. We maybe on the same side but we’re not helping each other. We are sitting in our own homes on our own computers and doing nothing. There is no way to vote ourselves out of this Corbyn won’t fix the system, neither will Bernie. Only mass disobedience has any effect on the system. The platforms you use are counter-revolutionary.

    1. This guy knows whats up.

    2. Do you think Occupy Wall Street changed anything? I’m asking respectfully. I genuinely don’t know but it seems like maybe not much changed/improved.

  9. Given the poor performance of Australia in international educational tests, I have some concern that many people will quote your article as supporting the integrity, intelligence and good intentions of of the leftists, ecofreaks and ill-trained scribblers masquerading as media journalists.

That is, providing their lips do not get too tired while they are reading it.

  10. And thus are we led firmly towards our slaughter….

    1. Firmly Mike? I would say, for the large majority, they’ve passively and meekly submitted to ‘the system’.
A major problem in Western ‘society’ is apathy. At the very least, we (who comment here) need to join with like minded people.
To quote the end of the Timothy Leary quote Caitlin provided couple days ago…. “find the others”.

  11. A few years ago there were attempts in three US states to pass citizen initiatives to mandate labeling of GMO food. In each case, public opinion started out over 90% in favor–and after a heavy advertising campaign, all three went down to defeat. Basically, if you spend enough, you can persuade much of the public of nearly anything. From the description, this UK campaign was very reminiscent of the 2016 US election–Hillary spent more than the orange toddler, but he got a tremendous amount of free media. The difference is that it looks to me like Corbyn was worth voting for, whereas Clinton was quite roundly hated, a key reason Trump won (most people were very negative about him too but he did and does have a cultlike following that isn’t small). Could this have been rigged? Do Brits vote on machines or paper ballots? I can hardly believe they would willingly allow a candidate who wants to turn the NHS into what we have here in the US. Do they realize how shitty it is?

    1. The Brits have paper ballots hand counted in public. There were some reports of voter suppression but it doesn’t sound like it was a huge factor. There was an all-out campaign against Corbyn by the press and parts of the labor party.

  12. This is similar to what happened to McGovern in 1972, who was also targeted by the Israel lobby. Quasi-antiwar, non-Washington candidate Howard Dean saw his presidential campaign destroyed by a media campaign about his “shout”.

    1. In a way, the accusations against Corbin of racism are about as sincere as the accusations against Assange of rape. Now that Corbin has been neutralized, lets see if his accusers continue to display their concern about racism.

  13. I didn’t really follow the UK election; I’m Canadian, but Mr. Corbyn struck me as a good guy and I saw youtube videos, watch it way too much, of Boris failing to help flood victims, hiding out in a refrigerator, failing to be a responsible parent…he just looked st%$#. I’ve heard on the radio he’s something of a liar, so it was weird hearing he’s going to protect the NHS as PM. Some times the electorate get what they deserve: the guy’s incompetence is on full display.
But, I was thinking about your point about media interference in the election.
Newspapers aren’t trusted anymore because of their billionaire owners; I think we deceive ourselves that there ever was a free press. There were just more owners with divergent political views. Now, there are what? 6? Internationally?
    Obviously, self-interest determines their stand.
What I find interesting are credible voices, so stuff I read that I find informative, that exist beyond the ordinary media universe including youtube. RT has this great show Renegade that interviewed a couple of comedians about the roles of comedy and politics: https://www.rt.com/shows/renegade-inc/439193-stand-up-comedians-politics/ .Anyhow, as much as the billionaire class has a stranglehold on mass communication, Christian Reilly and Craig Campbell discuss how the internet is a vast shelf of ideas no one can control. And billionaires can’t stop it, and as much as they try to limit it, 12 year old hackers defeat them. I know I am being optimistic, Mr. Corbyn did lose, but Argentina is left again. It’s become a whack-a-mole, political environment; as much as the main stream wants us to think the elite are in control, I suspect their dominance is slipping away….

  14. As always, the interesting thing is what happens next.
The Blairites and Labour-Likud are celebrating that Corbyn the Wicked Witch is Dead. But, Corbyn was not just Corbyn. Corbyn was the product of a grassroots movement of Labour members. They won’t go away just because the Oligarchs won yesterday. As much as the Blairites might wish! No, that grassroots and Momentum are still there and still going strong.
    ———-
My prediction is that the current Labour Party will split into two parties. A Blairite Party that favors the Oligarchs and the City of London, and the Momentum based party that represents ordinary people. When the Blairites try to force their victory upon the members and try to purge the Corbyn supporters from the party, this will be the result.
Interestingly, the Labour losses in ‘the Red Wall’ can not be reclaimed by the Blairite Labour Party. Those voters are fundamentally alienated from the Blairites. But, its the Momentum Party (working title) that can come back into those areas and do well once those voters realize they are being shafted by Boris and the Oligarchs.

  15. I would agree with you more if Britain had an electoral system similar to the United States where people can vote directly for the leader. However, as a Canadian I’m very familiar with the parliamentary system and this kind of result doesn’t happen in a parliamentary system merely because people don’t like the leader. To risk having a right-wing majority government and a right-wing local representative in order to stick it to the left wing leader isn’t something most leftists would be willing to do. That’s why Trudeau was recently reelected even though most people think he’s a terrible prime minister. The party leader doesn’t have a whole heck of a lot of power on his own. The forced-into-being-silent majority is still the majority and all those people who have been keeping silent at family events, on facebook, twitter, etc to avoid being called a racist for saying something completely reasonable have spoken in the only way they can anymore. In my opinion this was all about Brexit and anger over how the establishment has completely disregarded, ignored and denigrated the referendum results. The Democrats in the US could learn something from this but they won’t.

  16. Its funny, but one of the things the fake-centrists and the fake-moderates (they are neither center nor moderate) attack Corbyn regularly for over the last few years was because Corbyn refused to come out firmly for Remain. Corbyn instead did what a party leader is supposed to do, which is to try to hold the party together, despite the divisions in the party.
The Funny part, which the fake-centrists won’t mention today, is that it was the Leaving of the Leave voters that crushed the party. It was the collapse of the Red Wall in the Leave voting north of England that swung so many seats over to Boris the Spider.
It was the Great Jo Swinson, now a former MP, who supposedly had gotten it correct by coming out strongly for Remain. The Centrists all said she might even be the next PM she’d gotten it so correct. Instead, the Slightly Liberal Tories (aka Lib-Dems) continued to lose seats, including Swinson’s own seat.
Thus, the funny part is that Corbyn had read the situation correctly with his long-standing Leave position, which he moderated under pressure from the Blairites into Neutral, and that if the party had truly followed Corbyn’s lead, then they wouldn’t have lost so many seats.
    ——-
Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Guardian to tell you that.

  17. Have I been banned or censored? Nothing is posting.

  18. It’s all about the timing. Something very important to understand about the time period for when Brexit is going to occur. A year from now, the Petrol D0llar scheme will be officially dead. A country having it’s own Sovereign Currency is going to be a very important thing to have. The Federated Union of the EU, with all their import and export controls is not a sustainable union when their are two different competing currencies, the Pound and the Euro involved. Britain would get whipped out if they pursue a strong Pound and the EU pursues a weak Euro. I can appreciate the united need to get rid of Corbin.

The Elephant in the room is always never talked about. Britain/London has been given the luxury of being the only other member of the Petrol D0llar scheme besides Wall Street. What is Britain and London going to do when their artificial over valuing of the Pound created by the Petrol D0llar hits home? Whatever it is can’t happen in a Federated Union involving two currencies.

Sorry, but this is one of those very rare occasions when Wall Street and Main Street interests were the same.

  19. “plutocrats and government agencies”
You mean the British Deep State, which, because of its aristocratic/royal roots, is far deeper and older and more powerful than anything the US can boast. Jeremy Corbyn, one of the finest human beings on the planet, never stood a chance.
If you doubt the truth of this, check out the power and influence of the City of London Corporation, which admits no government control or oversight whatsoever. It’s nearly a thousand years old, and the most important article of the Magna Carta–which was nothing whatsoever to do with human rights–guarantees its independence. This provision is still in force.

    1. So heartwarming to hear this from someone else — that Jeremy C is one of the finest human beings on the planet, AND would have made one of the finest leaders in history too. I’m a Brit re-located to USA, and I was stunned that the public there was duped so easily.

  20. ….forgets to mention v high likelihood of rigging; election fraud. Caitlin is good for smoke & mirrors = absurd that 4m in poverty + food banks might have voted for more cruelty. Concealment of fraud = crime.
Totalitarian MO = Propaganda + Lies + Rigging Ballot Boxes.

    1. There were lots of little signs of it.
Boris the Spider apparently blocked Postal ballots going to voters who resided in the EU. They obviously weren’t going to share Boris’ backers vision of a renewed Pirate England. Lots of complaints from people who were denied the vote.
Also, they appear to have targeted universities. Again, lots of complaints from students who thought they’d registered to vote through their university, but who arrived at the polling place only to be told they weren’t allowed to vote.
      ————-
But mainly, it appears that the vast barrage of Oligarch propaganda was able to sway Leave-leaning former Labour voters. It appears that the long-term investment into attacks on Education have created a voting populace which is easily swayed into voting against their own interests.
Those people are going to have a very rough 5 years, when they see the reality of Boris’s new Pirate England, with low wages and eliminated regulations and the new Donald Trump approved health care system.

    2. Americans do it all the time. Some our poorest live in the Redist states such as in Appalachia, Mississippi, etc. They consistently vote AGAINST their own interests. I know why Americans do it: God, guns, and Gays. Have NO IDEA why any Brit would vote against their interests except for the media smear against poor Corbyn…calling him a Commie friend of “terrorists”. Disappointing that Brits caved into the smears and propaganda.

      1. The thing is Donna, they obviously DIDN’T know that the smears and propaganda WERE smears and propaganda, and could hardly have ‘caved’ into them, as if to say they knew that they were smears and propaganda, BUT, at some point, caved into them. Of course they didn’t know, and needless to say if they HAD known (that it was a black op Smear Campaign concocted and designed to demonise Jeremy and, as such, subvert democracy), they would have voted FOR him.

I’ve only recently ‘discovered’ Caitlin and this blog, and I assume it’s US based and, as such, many of the people posting comments on here are in the US, and generally don’t follow UK politics as much as they would if they were Brits, so here are just a couple of ‘facts’ that US posters may not be aware of in relation to the Smear Campaign against Jeremy:

        1. In a poll/survey of over 1,000 people for the authors of Bad News For Labour last year, respondents believed, on average, that a third of Labour Party members (34% to be precise) had been reported (to the Party) for anti-semitism, more than three hundred times the actual total.

        2. That after Jeremy came so close to winning the 2017 General Election, the Smearers trebled down on their smears and character assassination and demonisation of Jeremy (and the left membership), and it was only in the period AFTER the election that they first started their direct attacks of A/S on him, which consisted of (in no particular order) the ‘Mural’ episode, the ‘Wreath’ episode, the ‘English Irony’ episode, the ‘Anti-semitic Book’ episode, and several others, all of which ‘episodes’ happened in the years BEFORE he became leader of the LP, and which didn’t bat an eyelid at the time. Each ‘episode’ in turn was made to look to the general public like it had just come to light (for obvious reasons!), but I have no doubt that if the forces ranged against Jeremy weren’t aware of each of them when they occured – which I have little doubt they WERE – I think we can be 1,000% certain that they had dug them all out within a few weeks of him being elected leader of the LP. And the reason they didn’t ‘utilise’ them PRIOR to the 2017 GE is because they didn’t want to just smear HIM as an anti-semite, but the WHOLE of the left membership, and they ALSO thought they had done enough to bring him down in the couple of years or so prior to the election, and the polls in the months running up to the election were certainly indicating (to them) that their Smear Campaign was working a treat, with the Tory Party 20 points or more ahead of Labour at the point when Theresa May called a snap election.

And despite the ‘condemnation’ from the leaders of the other main political partys, I have no doubt that the following ‘episode’ in April 2019 turned a lot of working class people – who had previously voted Labour – against Jeremy, and it was, as such, a stroke of genius, and I have no doubt whatsoever that it wasn’t the soldiers themselves that came up with the idea:

        https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8778986/british-army-investigation-jeremy-corbyn-video/

  21. The Netanyahu regime and its British willing executioners, the Zionist Israel lobby, have been smearing Jeremy Corbyn for years as an “Anti-Semite.” The right-wing Simon Wiesenthal Center in L. A. just put him on top of its smear list as the worst “Anti-Semite” in 2019. What a wicked libel.

    1. That fraud’s center in LA is not merely right-wing, it is rabidly jewish supremacist.

  22. A free and healthy society would not make collective decisions by the majority overruling minorities.

    1. Aristocracies are not healthy nor free. In fact, the very love of hierarchy is a sign of mental illness.

    2. This s why I don’t vote: A party that polls 13% of the vote gets only one seat in parliament. It’s an obscenity to call that a fair system.

  23. I agree to a certain extent, namely the false narrative was pushed continuously in relation to Corbyn. However, on the other side of the border, in Scotland, the main target of this media onslaught was the SNP and the relentless barrage of negative and untruthful information against them has existed since the start of this decade. The results of yesterday’s election, which was a resounding victory for the SNP shows that an educated electorate can see through the propaganda. This was also evidenced by Swinston losing her seat. Her ain folk weren’t taken in by the supposedly progressive statements coming from her neo-liberal mouth.
Hopefully, we will soon be asking the independence question again and the creation of a more left wing country will emerge.

  24. This came down to the people being pissed that Brexit passed by popular vote but the government refused to execute it. Thus change out government to get Brexit accomplished.

I hope one day to read one of your articles where people dont blame it on the mysterious Jewish cabal running the world. Just ignore me. I am just one of the secret paid agents of the jewish cabal posting to confuse you.

  25. it was impossible to watch a TV channel covering election without being subjected to a member of Johnson’s family. On ITV Tom Bradby kept up a dialogue a Scottish Independence referendum would not at any cost be consented to, ignoring the fact it meant flagrantly denying democracy. The clear indication Nicolas Sturgeon ran a stonking and sterling campaign was ignored in favour of denigrating Labour losses in Scotland, failing to acknowledge parity with The Tories, there.
The voting preferences of Scotland and Northern Ireland do indicate an end for the UK, yet Sovereignty prevailed even though the only thing which unites the kingdom is corgis, coronets and castles, there is no national identity besides the NHS which under the Tories is death by prvitisation.
What Happened? WTF happened? Why was Dominic Cummings name strangely absent during the campaign. How did Johnson harvest votes with the thinnest of mainfestos and an absence of accountability. How did Jo Swinson ( her methods were bizarre) lose her seat, yet the Trojan campaign to unseat Johnson from his constituency fail? From the day Johnson delivered his acceptance speech, freshly elected to PM he was was electioneering , he even had the Queen canvass for him delivering a Queen’s Speech for his government which was dissolved less than two weeks later. The Opposition had the winning hand and blew it.
Methinks thou dost protest too much. The Tories won this by staying silent, allowed the opposing Opposition factions to destroy themselves with unchecked rabbleous bickering verbage, and unchecked emotion, exploiting their contempt for democracy by stealing votes from those their deem unfit to be in possession of. Mind control exercised with ruthless cunning, watching with scorn cannibalism from over emotion

    1. The supposedly left-leaning Guardian regularly featured big pictures of Boris Johnson on its UK politics page, pretty much every day. The Tory slogan was regularly printed or shown in big letters every day. Anything that Boris Johnson or Nigel Farage said was instant front page news.
Jo Swinson was queen for these weeks, and the campaign started with the Guardian telling everyone she was the next PM.
Anything anyone said to attack Corbyn was instant front page news. The Labour Likud wing constantly had the front page of the Guardian with absurd claims of anti-semitism. Anyone who disliked Corbyn got instant coverage, a fact taken advantage of by rising members of the Labour-For-The-Few Faction.
Meanwhile, Corbyn’s campaign was rarely covered. They covered the big events, such as manifesto launch, but not day to day, certainly not the way they featured Boris. If Labour had a campaign slogan, it was absent, as apparently the Guardians gatekeepers had banned any printing or pictures of the words “For the Many, Not the Few”.
      ———
Jo Swinson losing her seat in the midst of the the Scots saying loudly “We are Outta Here” was not a surprise. Well, it would have been a surprise to readers of the Guardian, who of course were never told it might happen. But it was not a surprise.

    2. You have nothing better to do than listen to election coverage. Go take a walk and read the results the next day.

  26. Director John Carpenter’s take on population control by mass media:
    .

  27. And its always best to conform with the mainstream media establishment and to never mention the Jewish lobby that drove the relentless antisemitic smear campaign against Corbyn.

They never seem to think for themselves , Question authority and put yourself in a state of open-mindedness , defeat is to misread all history and ignore the eternal radiant of the human spirit.

  29. Aha, the ” sheeple ” once again show just how easy it is to control them. The matrix works everywhere. Humanity remains in a coma; all hail Big Brother!

  30. Just before i saw your article i was shown the kybalion the 7 universal laws. Instant recognition. Universe telling me not to focus so much on the material level. The pendulum swings, what goes up must come down. The eigth negations of Nargajuna. Nothing comes or goes. The energy stays the same. 31. I think it’s clear that one of the biggest interferors in the UK election was Israel. Hadn’t they better answer for that?

  32. You all realise that any chance Julian Assange had of getting out of the Belmarsh gulag is now over. Kaput. Dead as a Dodo.
I havn’t voted for over 20 years, I know exactly what the presstitutes role is, and who the ‘media’ serve, and I know Labour is another social democratic Capitalist party.
BUT…. I had slim hopes that Corbyn may have had Julian Assange released.
This result is also a clear example of the propaganda power of the stenographers; yes men and yes women in the MSM.
Most people in the West just lap it all up.
They don’t even know they’ve been lobotomised.

    1. I can’t even imagine what it feels like for Julian Assange locked up in Belmarsh, knowing that his ever so slim chance of getting released is now gone and his extradition to the US is as good as sealed.

I felt sick and nauseous watching the cheering Tories and their bumbling clown of a PM celebrate the filthiest election win in UK history. The only consolation is that the racist Tory working-class voters who think themselves so much better than their peers, will probably loose their victory grins watching their precious NHS disappearing down the privatisation gurgler along with any other welfare benefits they so far been able to hang on to.

The end is nigh, not only for the “lobotomized” Brits, but for rest of us expendable folks who inhabit this doomed planet, unless we wake up from our torpor and fight back with every ounce of energy we possess.

Be like Greta Thunberg- Time Magazine’s Person of the Year, be invincible,

    2. Ah, so its your fault. You didn’t vote.
      ———–
I take it you were not a Boris voter? But, when the Oligarch’s convinced you not to vote, that’s one of the ways they won the election. It the people who oppose the Oligarchs don’t vote, in your case because the propaganda convinced you it was useless, then the Oligarchs win. The Oligarchs love people who don’t vote.

  33. Think back over the decades since WWII – every leader assassinated or otherwise removed from office was a socialist to some degree, ie used the wealth from the country’s resources to benefit the country’s citizens with limited or no scope for international corporations to plunder the country. Ditto every government that’s been overthrown – resources used for the people and not syphoned off by multi-nationals. Jeremy Corbyn wanted to do the same by directing resources to the many rather than the few. Socialists are NEVER allowed to govern, except possibly in small countries which are not strategically located geographically or which have nothing that the corporations want. No matter where you look, the people in charge of the world are totally corrupt, malicious, and murderous and it will stay this way unless the voters can be persuaded to desert the MSM and go to alternative truth-telling media.

    1. True, socialists don’t typically focus on killing foreign leaders, just their own. They do typically manage to kill extraordinary numbers of their citizens. The Left vs Right paradigm is just another rabbit hole. Neither has the moral high ground. Gang rape is democracy in action. I refuse to participate.

      1. You’ll have to fill in the gaps in my history – I can’t think of extraordinary (or even ordinary) numbers of citizens killed by Mossadegh, Lamumba, Arbenz, Allende, Lula, Chavez, Maduro, Morales, Whitlam in Australia – the list goes on. Please help me out.

When O when O when O when are people going to realize that belief and trust of the mainstream media is an indication of mental deficiency. The oligarchs or whatever you like to call the elite already have almost complete control of the minds of the majority of western society. The English speaking countries are poisoned into submission by fluoride and the resulting brain damage leaves them open to the zombie indoctrination program. So many people are in the consensus reality box and it’s lid is being nailed down. Was George Orwell’s 1984 a warning or a manual?

    1. Both. The great unwashed & unread have failed to heed Orwell’s warming. The psychopathic uber wealthy elites are ruthless enough to use it as a manual.

  35. What I find fascinating is the fake “punch” story of a protester punching a Tory aide outside Leeds General Infirmary and the story of the 4-year-old boy, Jack Williment, forced to lie on the floor of the same hospital (what a coincidence!) due to lack of beds. While they came out and admitted the “punch” story was fake my belief is that the whole “punch” thing was staged as was the photograph of Jack Williment – https://off-guardian.org/wp-content/medialibrary/COST-jack-Williment.jpg. To me, it looks clear that the hand on the left of the photo is smaller than the hand on the right – whenever they fake anything they always give us the clues.

Assuming they are completely staged, these stories would seem to work against the Tories, wouldn’t they? They remind me of the “children overboard” story. They pushed out a lie that many people didn’t buy of refugees throwing their children overboard, they admitted that it was nonsense 3 days before the November 2001 election! … but who won the election? The Liberals (with a little help from the opposition leader)! As it happens, the evidence shows there was no SIEV 4 refugee boat at all, it was a completely bogus story from start to finish.
    https://occamsrazorterrorevents.weebly.com/blog/how-major-fraud-helped-john-howard-to-election-victory-in-2001

How do these stories that seem to work against the right-wing party actually seem to help them win the election. Can anyone explain this seemingly very counterintuitive phenomenon?

  36. The microscopic transnational Elite’s innumerable politial slaves in the US, UK, Germany, France, etc. do not elect themselves. As usual, ordinary voters vote them into office. And, as usual, this time around the circular railroad track, voters are going to get exactly what they deserve for electing the Elite’s servants. After increasingly harsh austerity really starts to bite, voters will be told by the Elite’s poltical and servants that they just elected, and the MSM that is owned by that same Elite, that the terrible, predictable, inevitable consequences of their votes are actually caused by the usual suspects — immigrants, Russia and, lately, China.

After seeing this same pattern for over 50 years of adult life, I find it really hard to feel sorry for people who behave the same way, time and time again, and expect a different result. Lower and harder is all they deserve and all they are going to get.

BTW, in case you didn’t know, you do not have to vote for an R or a D in the 2020 election. There are alternatives. For example, have you ever heard of Howie Hawkins? If not, have a look: http://www.howiehawkins.org/

  37. “A free and healthy society….”
Or even how about a modestly free and healthy society? Too much to ask for, expect?

  38. The culprits are, “billionaire-controlled media outlets, along with intelligence and military agencies, as well as state media like the BBC.” Well….. OK… But there’s also the same lobby that has made the “heavily-armored” complex of lies concerning 9/11 a rarely visited subject for play-it-safe limited hangouts like Caitlin Johnstone.

    1. Caitlin doesn’t really need to go into 9/11 as the essential truth is really very simple.

—- Four faked plane crashes automatically means that the buildings came down by a controlled means and that 265 people didn’t die in plane crashes.
      https://occamsrazorterrorevents.weebly.com/four-faked-plane-crashes.html
      —-
      — That the greatest number of drills and exercises ever on US soil and in the US airspace also occurred on 9/11 combined with the lie of the 265 dying in plane crashes can only lead us to question the claim of the remaining 2,735 deaths – whatever they did to fake the 265 deaths could they not also have done to fake the deaths of the remaining 2,735? All the available evidence clearly supports the claim of these deaths also being a lie.
      https://occamsrazorterrorevents.weebly.com/3000-dead-and-6000-injured-a-lie.html

9/11 was, in fact, a Trauma-based Mind Control Psychological Operation (psyop) that took the form of a massive Full-Scale Anti-Terrorist Exercise comprising numerous smaller exercises and drills pushed out as a real attack where the only major realities of the day were destruction of and damage to buildings.

It really is that simple. All the rest is smoke’n’mirrors.

The most astonishing thing is that they actually tell us that they are responsible. That’s the most astonishing thing – Newtonian physics tells us anyway but they go above and beyond to tell us, they really do.
      https://occamsrazorterrorevents.weebly.com/they-tell-us-clearly.html

If you have any evidence that contradicts my hypothesis, Anthony, I would be very glad to hear it.

    2. You talk like a CIA agent and you smell ilke one too.

      1. Are you addressing me, Hunkerdown?

I find it astounding that people keep accusing me of being a shill for the other side when everything I say is evidence-based. I place all my evidence, reason and logic in full view and I offer $5,000 to those who support the opposing hypothesis.

No one could be more transparent than I am and yet those who don’t use their real names themselves and have zero to back their beliefs call me a shill.

Please tell me, Hunkerdown, what, in your estimation was 9/11 and what is your evidence?

The only real thing I say differently from the general truther understanding is that death and injury were staged. That is the only thing. It took me four years myself to overcome the propaganda strategy targeted at truthers to come to that realisation but now that I have it seems so very obvious.

A psyop by definition means that you don’t kill people you don’t want to. That is implicit in the definition of a psyop. Do you think that 9/11 was a psyop, Hunkerdown, or just that it was a semi-psyop? Do you think the power elite, who’ve been fooling us for centuries, at least since the Great Fire of 1666 (see Gloria Moss’s fascinating article https://off-guardian.org/2019/09/01/the-great-fire-of-london-cui-bono/) have insufficient skill at duping us and weren’t able to manage fooling us into believing that 3,000 people died and 6,000 people were injured and thus had to resort to killing and injuring for real? You think they could persuade us that 19 terrorists armed with boxcutters hijacked four planes, etc but they weren’t up to the death and injury duping? You understand them so little if that’s what you think. You have no idea of their duping abilities. Do you think that media, police and firefighters didn’t know about the controlled demolition? Do you think that they were AOK with their government killing all those people? And what about the loved ones of those 3,000 killed so tragically, where are they? Why aren’t they rattling the gates? Does Bob McIlvaine stand for all those 3,000 loved ones. Is he and a few others all you need to persuade you that 3,000 people were killed on 9/11? Is that all you need to be persuaded, Hunkerdown?

There is nothing shill-like about me at all, but I know nothing about you except your pseudonym and epithet-applying. These things are much more likely in a shill trying to discredit a genuine person who uses their real name and has a website that backs all their claims.

        1. Your argument is strong and makes a lot of sense to me, I’ll check out your site thank you

        2. Sorry, Petra, I was addressing Anthony, who seems to be trying to control the conversation as if he were paid to do so, instead of getting his own blog. I’m 100% with Caitlin on the matter of 9/11: just another false-flag crisis to justify “positive control” of the population, but far more than just that.

          1. Yes, I too agree (100%) with CJ. there is enough evidence to prove an inside job, more so than any other false flag black op.

  39. May I suggest, “The Modern Anglo-Dutch Empire: its Origins, Evolution, and Anti-Human Outlook”, for the long view of why Corbin was in the way, and had to go.
