Literally Just Me Yelling At People For Their Garbage Takes On Bush’s Eulogy

George W Bush gave a eulogy for his father today, and establishment sycophants everywhere are falling all over themselves to tell us that this means his presidency has been redeemed and piles of human corpses are awesome. I take some time here to yell at them.

British pundit Piers Morgan: “Wow. Wonderful tribute by President George W. Bush to his father President George H.W. Bush. Proud, poignant, loving, funny & ultimately very emotional. Remarkable to think of a father and son both ascending to the White House. They must have shared so much together.”

One word: No.

Russiagate pundit Ed Krassenstein: “If you haven’t seen this, please take a minute to watch. George W. Bush tears up while speaking about his father, George H.W. Bush. This is human decency folks! This is love! Don’t let turbulent times let us forget who we are and who we came from.”

Two words: Fuck you.

Daily Caller journalist Benny Johnson: “We don’t deserve George W. Bush”

Three words: Holy. Fucking. Shit.

No, Johnson was not joking, and no, he was not saying that the world did not deserve to have an apocalypse in cowboy boots inflicted upon it as a US president, and no, he does not have family in Iraq or Afghanistan. Dubya teared up at the end of his eulogy for his mass murderer father, and Benny says this means he’s too good for us. There are not enough palms and faces in the world to adequately respond to this take.

Bloomberg Opinion editor James Gibney: “George W. Bush took another step on the road to national redemption with his address and its delivery.”

Oh he did, did he? He brought a million people back to life, put back the trillions of dollars wasted on unconscionable wars, stabilized a region that has been plunged into terror and chaos, halted the so-called “war on terror”, reversed military expansionism and undid the Patriot Act in a single speech? Hell, man, that must have been some eulogy.

Gibney is just saying more blatantly the thing that all mass media cultural engineers have been trying to beat into our heads with the opportunistic propaganda extravaganzas that the funerals of US political elites have become: that gratuitous warmongering is fine, and it’s time to move on from Iraq. The damage that has been done domestically to Americans’ trust in US institutions, and around the world to the perception of US moral authority, has made it far more difficult to manufacture support for escalations against Iran, Syria and Russia, and has made people more difficult to propagandize in general. The job of mainstream media lackeys is to herd people back toward acceptance of establishment narratives and keep them trusting an innately untrustworthy propaganda machine.

CNN editor Brenna Williams: “The candy pass between Michelle Obama and George W. Bush, mirroring the one that warmed our hearts during the funeral of John McCain.”

Well it got American liberals hot and heavy with mindless patriotic sexual arousal the last time they did it, so why wouldn’t they do literally exactly the same thing again?

The sequel to this moronic, pandering, sappy photo op is being promoted by CNN, ABC, Politico, USA Today and many other mass media outlets as a heartwarming gesture of togetherness in these cold, uncivil times. Have you ever noticed how these saccharine media homilies about coming together in unity across party lines is only ever about unifying behind political elites and forgiving unforgivable offenses? Have you noticed how it’s never, ever about helping the common man or standing against the toxic forces that are destroying our world? The call is not to unify to create a better America together, the call is to unite behind a power establishment that has never given a fuck about you.

The underlying appeal to these fluffy togetherness narratives lies in a shared longing by many for the days before Trump, which is weird, because longing for the days before Trump is just longing for the conditions which created Trump. Americans rallied behind a giant orange middle finger to the status quo specifically because they were angry about how awful things got under the barely distinguishable Bush and Obama administrations, and believing that you can point at those symbols of their anger and go “Look! Unity!” shows how pathetically insular and out of touch these beltway bootlickers are. Trump is the pus of an oozing pimple, and Bushbama was the glistening head of that pimple. Manipulating people into cheering for their own oppression is very possible, but they’re going to have to do better than that.

Dr. Dena Grayson: “No matter your politics, it’s heart wrenching to watch the raw emotions of the Bush family’s grief.”

“No matter your politics.” These empire shills have been echoing this nonsensical phrase all day, and they’e been doing it for a reason. If they can make this about a mere matter of polite differences of political opinion, then their whole unity-togetherness-we-love-Big-Brother party makes perfect sense. This, of course, ignores the fact that opposition to mass murder is not a political position. Mass murder isn’t “politics”. Despising a man who murdered a million human beings is not a political opinion, and it is still very hard to care that he got the sniffles when his daddy died.

Candace Owens: “Say what you will about the Bush family but everyone needs to credit them for this wonderful display of honor, dignity & respect. Sadly, this is the note the McCain family failed to hit amidst their display of petty anger and partisanship. Rest In Peace, George H.W Bush!”

Nobody needs to give them credit for jack shit, you partisan hack. The fact that they invited your president and the McCains didn’t is a petty distinction which doesn’t reverse the unfathomable suffering this evil family has unleashed upon our world. No matter how many pieces of candy Bush gives to Michelle Obama, no matter how many tears he sheds for his dad, no matter how much you mass media pundits babble about unity and togetherness, the people who were killed by both Bush administrations are still dead, and their Orwellian surveillance programs and military expansionism are still getting worse by the year. There is no amount of patriotic performances which will undo that fact. George W Bush will always be the man who murdered a million human beings and made the world far darker than it was before he took office.

I dream of a healthy future where George W Bush is unable to enter a room without being greeted by an avalanche of shoes thrown at his head.

And that’s it. I’m done with this garbage. Another degrading patriotism parade for another murderous tyrant has been completed. Put that horrible war criminal in the ground and let’s move the fuck on.

  • I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to find the “rumors” were true.

  • One less ass grabber among us. RIP, David “cop a feel.”

  • I can say one good thing about the Bush Crime Syndicate: they set me on the path to libertarianism. And as for deifying dead politicians, you ain’t seen nuthin yet. Just wait til Bill Clinton (or some other top tier Democrat) kicks the bucket.

    • Jack, wait until obuma passes. It will be the greatest of all spectacles. Because anything less would be, of course, “racist”. And it will also be one of the greatest of all leftie hypocrisies.

  • Amen, amen, amen!
I have spared myself the nausea that would come from actually looking at any of the “tributes” “eulogies” etc, but was sideswiped on the ABC’s Insiders program last Sunday by seeing Malcolm Farr giving a sickeningly fawning account of the dead war criminal Bush, in order to show by “contrast” how much he doesn’t admire Trump.

  • Australia gave approximately $21 MILLON to the Clinton Foundation, used for LAUNDERING and dispersing funds to their own business interests, and other illegal activities! “Seven documented examples of when payments to the Clintons and their foundation coincided with political favors”

  • Now if only his twisted criminal supporters like CNN, others, and Candace Owens, would die! Come on, do Humanity a favor! It’s grubs like those that has set the prelude for losing our freedoms, rights AND privacy!

  • It blows my mind that they’re trying to turn him into a saint like they did McCain. I would wager that most people under 40 don’t even realize that W and HW were two different people. Both scumbag though.

    • McCain was no saint. He voluntarily dropped high explosives on civilians in Vietnam. He was a murdering scumbag no better than either of the Bushes.

      • Murdering scumbag and liar, who made a career out of false claims of having been tortured by his Vietnamese captors.

  • There is one thing I will always remember about George Herbert Walker Bush, and I do think it is important to say his full name given its history.

There was a point in time when there was a chance that peace might break out. The Soviet Union was falling apart, and the question was becoming one of what happens next for the human race. Many who had seen the constant push for more and more military during the Cold War 1.0 and the costs this held in the quality of human lives were cheered to see the Cold War ending.

However of course, those who get rich by governments spending trillions on militaries were not happy to see their old excuse for such spending such money evaporate. Fortunes had been made on the cry that the Commies must be both feared and stopped, and the owners of the geese who laid such golden eggs didn’t want to see that end.

As President, George Herbert Walker Bush had the task of making sure that peace did not break out. And as such, George Herbert Walker Bush earned the praises of those who’ve gotten rich over the last 30 years of warfare and military budgets by making dang sure that something as evil as peace did not indeed emerge despite the wishes of much of humankind.

President George Herbert Walker Bush achieved this by luring Saddam Hussein into attacking Kuwait. He then fought a war which included the Highway of Death as the brave American pilots bombed a fleeing and broken enemy. But most importantly, President George Herbert Walker Bush achieved a re-glorification of war in the pro-war corporate media. War became sexy again. And the general tone shifted from a possibility of peace to a decade of propaganda about how dangerous the world was because of the presence of the next Hitler in Saddam. This of course led to the era of the post 9-11 Terror Wars waged by his son.

“We don’t deserve George W. Bush”

Most of Europe and the Middle East did not deserve the Black Death either.

Or as some famous American may have said. “ We must all hang together or we we will all hang separately. Noam Chomsky would say that the current US president and all living former US presidents are war criminals. And a lot of dead ones too but it is hard to get them to The Hague’

Caitlin, you are a brilliant writer and philosopher. Once again, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Thank you so much for being one of the few voices willing to speak the truth. I’m not sure how an Australian housewife got to know so much about American culture and politics (so much more than the vast majority of Americans know), but keep up the good work!

  • Thank You again Caitlin! For Your fine efforts & displays of superb Poignancy “ON” Going…

  • Not to mention the constant rumours that father Bush was involved in pedophilia.

  • The american media is fabricating royalty in the U.S.

  • LOL! The first thing I thought when I saw the news reports was…Caitlin’s going to have a field day with this one! You definitely did not disappoint!

Check out this infographic on where the money in this world goes: https://informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/trillions-what-is-a-trillion-dollars/ It blew my mind. It’s so much worse than anyone can even fathom and we’re blindly walking into this nightmare because of a few hundred people just cannot get enough money and power.

Thanks for all you do, Caitlin.

  • Every hotsy-totsy nazi stand and cheer!

  • Yeah, fascism is so much better than communism !

  • Let us all yell Fuck Yeah! to Caitlin.
Let us hope the tradition of deaths by three continues. Who will be the third guest of honor at WarPig Fest 3?

  • Not a lot of nuance in your attack! In fact it’s the very opposite of the eulogies and just as biased. Bush’s behaviour has to be seen in the context of his times and in the struggle between western notions of freedom and western opposition to communism. I suppose you would applaud the fall of the Berlin Wall? The defeat of world communism was a dirty business on both sides but I’m very glad that communism was defeated and Bush’s part in its downfall was important.

    • What a load of BS.
The wars on Eye-rack and Soddh-im Whosein (note the US phonetic spelling so that you can try and understand) had nothing to do with commies, only ground-oil.
But then youse exceptional shites would know no differently.
      Well said by Caitlin.

    • George, damn right it is the very opposite of the eulogies because the Truth is the very opposite of the eulogies. Truth is always biased in favor of itself.

    • Yeah, fascism is so much better than communism !

    • It is useful idiots like you who encourage fascism and allow these murderous to keep doing evil. Congratulate yourself.

  • Mankind would have been better of, if he had never been born!!!!

  • I am glad for us humans that this beast is dead. How many humans did this man slaughter? And isn’t this beast part of the thirteen families or the three hundred supporting families that run the Earth into a living hell for most people? Shovel the con and line up the apologists. Cover his corpse with the right shade of rose.

  • Hey Caitlynn. I agree with you about many things as an American/Canadian dual citizen and understand your outrage here, but SOMETIMES you really don’t understand JACK SHIT about American politics. Your take is the correct one if you want us to continue to vacillate wildly between the our two extremes every 4 years. I personally don’t think THAT is good for the USA or the rest of the world. We don’t have a way other than Presidential elections every 4 years to throw the bum out other than the painfully slow process you’ve been observing. Many think we should change the system– I among them, at times, but I’ve been more than a little dismayed by what’s been going on in the Parliamentary democracies of the world the past decade or so. (the UK, Canada {particularly Ontario}, and many other nations in Europe, Israel, India, Singapore, Taiwan, etc.) HOWEVER, the process of amending our Constitution is even more arduous and could well take decades were it to happen at all. SO, react all you want (you know your fanbase better than I) but you’re not being either insightful or helpful in the Americas.

    • You are a fraud.
One should not be able to be dual citizen. Trying to hedge your bets ?
Pick your horse and ride it.

      • If the will of the people is strong enough it can happen overnight. It is aways the lukewarm and the negative nellies that keep humanity back.

    • Cindy, “Your take is the correct one if you want us to continue to vacillate wildly between the our two extremes every 4 years.”

Which “extremes” get vacillated every 4 years?! The left extreme which does the zionist bidding or the right extreme which does the zionist bidding?

  • I have virtually the same thing to say as that which you said about John McCain. I’m glad to see that we are rid of a murderous traitor like Daddy Bush – and there’s not a damn thing that would have led me to listen to that draft dodging druggie son of his. I put at least part of my day to better use, by watching reruns of game shows from over 40 years ago. They had more probative value than any nonsense that spewed out of Dubya’s mouth.

  • Here’s more reality, from William Rivers Pitt. Seems our George HW has some ‘splaining to do at the pearly gates!

  • Anybody else feel like you were Agent Smith as you watched and listened or read the incredible lies being told by the Elite and their MSM slaves today in their Matrix? How many viewers swallowed all the bullshit? We’ll never know because we don’t have the means to know.

  • Two words: THANK YOU!!!

  • This pathetic white washing of history routine isn’t over yet. Just imagine how these degenerate elites are going to keep a straight face pretending Dick ‘Darth Vader’ Cheney wasn’t evil personified when his mechanical heart finally gives up the ghost in the foreseeable future. And I can’t wait to see them try to feign dignity while attempting some sick a twisted inversion of reality by make-believing Henry Kissinger ever vaguely resembled anything even remotely human. It’s hilarious watching the old collapsing Washington establishment rehearsing its own funeral, because every single episode of this theatre of delusion is just another nail in their coffin.

  • Like when the family of the Texas China Saw Massacre lost one of their own and they were all sad … and we all teared up for them in sympathy … but no … we didn’t. We thought ‘fuck you assholes … die every one of you’. Of course, that’s not a fair comparison, since the Leatherface family’s bodycount was literally nothing compared to the Bush clan.

  • It’s gratifying that outside the partisan big names in the media etc tear jerkers, the rest of the media is just full of his sins and the evil destruction he and his fellow Presidents have done.
I’m sure this is getting noticed as your previous post pointed out.
But plans are afoot to remedy all that from their point of view. Read this for some idea of it:
Looks like they are trying to get their act together. Along with the net neutrality push it’s all very concerning.

  • I wish that whole room had been roasted to cinders. Oligarchs deserve nothing but the most gruesome and excruciating deaths.

  • Could not have said it better myself! Thank you for speaking truth to blindly insane power elites!

  • Happy Dead War Criminal Day. Some more of these ad hoc holidays would really make the season festive. Next up— Kissinger? I won’t even mind if they close the Post Office again.

  • Thank you Caitlin for saying it perfectly!

  • Thanks for refreshing editorial about the massive display of “public “ mourning with all the bigots attending. President Trump was entitled to be there and the Bush family only let him attend because the decreased had mandated it when he set up his own funeral arrangements, plus insisted on that no negative commenting by any attendees.
To make such a big deal out of candy passing was really scrapping the bottom of the barrel plus they barely waited until the coffin left Washington DC to start a Twitter storm of negative comments.

  • Bravo. Best on-point eulogy is your review of the pandering 1% crying crocodile tears.

  • BARF omg I remember all that and you cannot f ing redeem mass murder. Unless of course they plan on going back over Hitler’s crimes too?

  • I couldn’t agree more, Caitlin. It sickens me to see such crap – not just from the mouths of the mourners and funeral attendees, but from the media.

Don’t these people know what he did? Or do they somehow justify it as ‘good’ killing and ‘good’ innocent casualties of war, and ‘good’ refugees of war. Is it a case of ‘God is on our side, therefore we can get away with murder, literally’?

  • Boo hoo! Wah Wah! When I watched the TV at my hairstylist and saw the front row of the funeral all I thought was “Wow. A whole row of criminals sitting side by side to mourn a serial murderer.”

The MSM has gone mad with the illness from eating and holding in the sins of their masters. They regurgitate the lies of unity while they propagate division. Thank you for bringing sanity to this madness.

  • Are you finally ready to become an anarchist?

    One question, Caitlynn.

How many more bodies stacked up by statists, until you finally concede we are right, and the United States is not redeemable in any way, and representative democracy is just a ploy to keep the popular kids in the classroom getting elected and in power… and is not much better than fascism…

Let me know how many more bodies, and I’ll start counting and let you know when it exceeds that number…

  • Actually Bush and his father did share a lot. A lot of corpses they created.
