A new article by Forbes reports that the CEO of Crowdstrike, the extremely shady cybersecurity corporation which was foundational in the construction of the official CIA/CNN Russian hacking narrative, is now a billionaire.

George Kurtz ascended to the billionaire rankings on the back of soaring stocks immediately after the company went public, carried no doubt on the winds of the international fame it gained from its central protagonistic role in the most well-known hacking news story of all time. A loyal servant of empire well-rewarded.

Never mind that US government insiders like Hillary Clinton had been prepping for escalations against Russia well in advance of the 2016 elections, and that their preexisting agendas to shove a geostrategic obstacle off the world stage benefitted from the hacking narrative as much as George Kurtz did.

Never mind that Crowdstrike is tied to the NATO narrative management firm known as the Atlantic Council, which receives funding from the US government, the EU, NATO, Gulf states and powerful international oligarchs. Never mind either that Crowdstrike was financed with a whopping $100 million from Google, which has had a cozy relationship with US intelligence agencies since its very inception.

Never mind that to this day the DNC servers have not been examined by the FBI, nor indeed were they examined by the Special Counsel of Robert “Iraq has WMD” Mueller, preferring instead to go with the analyses of this extremely shady outfit with extensive and well-documented ties with the oligarchic leaders of the US-centralized empire. Also never mind that the Crowdstrike analyst who led forensics on those DNC servers had in fact worked for and was promoted by Robert Mueller while the two were in the FBI.

As I never tire of saying, the real underlying currency in our world is not gold, nor bureaucratic fiat, nor even raw military might. The real underlying currency of our world is narrative, and the ability to control it.

As soon as you really grok this dynamic, you start noticing it everywhere. George Kurtz is one clear example today of narrative control’s central role in the maintenance and expansion of existing power structures, as well as an illustration of how the empire is wired to reward those who advance pro-empire narratives and punish those who damage them; just compare how he’s doing to how Julian Assange is doing, for example.

But you see examples pop up every day:

  • The US State Department just got busted using a $1.5 million troll farm to manipulate public discourse on social media about Iran.
  • Video footage has just surfaced of the OPCW Director General admitting that the OPCW did indeed deliberately omit any mention in its official findings of a report from its own investigation which contradicts the establishment narrative about a chemical strike in Douma, Syria, an admission which answers controversial questions asked by critics of western imperialism like myself, and which the mainstream media have not so much as touched.
  • Mintpress News broke a story the other day about a new narrative management operation known as “The Trust Project”, a coordinated campaign by establishment-friendly mass media outlets for “gaming search-engine and social-media algorithms in collusion with major tech companies like Google and Twitter.”
  • In a new interview with The Canary, UN Special Rapporteur on torture Nils Melzer explicitly named the mass media as largely responsible for Assange’s psychological torture, excoriating them for the way that they “have shown a remarkable lack of critical independence and have contributed significantly to spreading abusive and deliberately distorted narratives about Mr Assange.”
  • In a new essay called “Freeing Julian Assange“, journalist Suzie Dawson reports that “Countless articles appear to have been obliterated from the internet” about Assange and WikiLeaks, amounting to some 90 percent of the links Dawson examined which were shared in tweets by or about WikiLeaks and Assange since 2010.
  • I just finished reading this excellent Swiss Propaganda Research essay about the little-known fact that “most of the international news coverage in Western media is provided by only three global news agencies based in New York, London and Paris.”

Any one of these could have a full-length Caitlin Johnstone essay written about it. I write about this stuff for a living, and even I don’t have the time or energy to write full articles about every single narrative control tool that the US-centralized empire has been implementing into its arsenal. There are too damn many of them emerging too damn fast, because they’re just that damn crucial for maintaining existing power structures.

Because whoever controls the narrative controls the world.

Power used to be much easier to identify in our society: just look for the fellow with the sparkly hat made of gold sitting in a really big chair and bossing everyone around. As our society advanced philosophically, however, people began to tire of having every aspect of their society determined by some schmuck in a golden hat, and started fighting for ideals called “freedom” and “democracy” in their respective nations. And, as far as our parents and teachers have taught us, freedom and democracy are exactly what we have now.

Except that’s all crap. Freedom and democracy only exist within the western empire to the extent that it keeps up appearances. Because the trouble with democracy, it turns out, is that human minds are very hackable, as long as you’ve got the resources. Wealthy and powerful people do have the resources, which means that it’s very possible for wealthy and powerful people to manipulate the masses into voting in a way that consistently benefits the wealthy and powerful. This is why billionaires and narrative control consistently go hand-in-hand.

This dynamic has allowed for western power structures to operate in a way that western democracy was explicitly designed to prevent: for the benefit of the powerful instead of for the benefit of the voting populace. So now we’ve got people in so-called liberal democracies voting to maintain governments which advance wars which don’t benefit them, to advance intrusive surveillance and police state policies which oppress them, to advance austerity policies which harm them, to advance labor policies which exploit them, and to maintain ecocidal environmental policies which threaten the very survival of our species. All because the wealthy and powerful are able to use their wealth and power to manipulate the way people think and vote.

This is why I pay far more attention in my work to narrative control than to politics. Politics is downstream from narrative control, which is why the 2020 US presidential race is already a contest to see what level of Democratic corporatist warmonger will be running against the incumbent Republican corporatist warmonger. The narrative-controlling class does its level best to hide the fact that anything’s fundamentally wrong with the system, then when people notice it’s deeply broken they encourage them to use completely impotent tools to fix it. “Don’t like how things are run? Here, vote for our other puppet!”

The root of all our problems right now is the fact that human minds are very hackable with enough resources, combined with the fact that war, oppression, exploitation and ecocide are highly profitable. This dynamic has caused human collective consciousness to generally dead-end into a kind of propagandized, zombified state in which all our knowledge and all our thinking moves in alignment with the agendas of existing power structures. It’s much easier to continue believing the official narratives than to sort through everything you’ve been told about your society, your nation and your world since grade school and work out what’s true and what’s false. Many don’t have the time. Many more don’t have the courage.

We will remain in this collective dead-end, hurtling toward either Orwellian dystopia or extinction via climate collapse or nuclear armageddon, until we find a way out of it. It won’t come from the tools our rulers have given us, and it won’t come from repeating any of the old patterns which got us here. In order to escape from the increasingly adept narrative control matrix that is being built around our collective mind by the powerful, we’re going to have to change our relationship with narrative altogether. We will either pass this great test or we will fail it, and we absolutely have the freedom to go either way.

  1. You can say things like “biblical myths” all you want, but it won’t…can’t…doesn’t…you know.

    1. Okay, so this little reply just got placed here for some reason apparently related to dealing with the nightmarishly strict and somewhat buggy captcha feature here, but was meant for “Ethan Allen” way down below. Kindly disregard up here.

  2. I don’t understand the passage, honestly. When it comes to blockchain, this is one group worth checking out:
    I don’t believe decentralization is a myth.

  3. Without a doubt, we are “hurtling toward either Orwellian dystopia or extinction via climate collapse or nuclear armageddon”…you are dead on right! Thank you, Caitlin, for your daily courage in trying your hardest to wake up all of the Zombified Cowards who are not only war weary, but subconsciously terrified of the Orwellian nightmare we are all treading water in right now! How do you wake up the masses before it is too late?? You don’t!! Because mass extinction is well under way, already, with poisoned food, air, water, soil, vaccines, 5-G, etc, and our massive propaganda is intended to numb us down and lessen the blows before the final assault…whenever or whatever that may be!

  4. Unreal! While the leader of Japan is in Iran; a Japanese oil tanker is torpedoed and the United States insists that Iran must had done it. These people are just plain crazy or else they must believe that everybody is an idiot.

    1. It’s a mixture of both:
They are just plain crazy, AND they don’t care who knows it.

  5. I’d have to agree propaganda is a root of the destruction of civil society; and the market place of ideas necessary for the functioning of a democracy.

I’d also like to add false flags deliberately perpetrated to shape history, promulgated by the propaganda, to the aims and purposes of a self-selected elite class, that also owns the banking system, fractional reserve, boom-to-bust, banking, leading only to ever increasing national debt, currency destruction, and the death of the targeted society.

One way to protect yourself against the poison of propaganda narratives is to never automatically believe fear and hate propaganda which is the mind (thinking) killer.

  9. Thank you for the excellent take on propaganda, Caitlin! Useful as always.

That said, I disagree propaganda is “the root of all our problems” though. What I mean is propaganda comes from somewhere. This narrative you speak of, which is manipulated through our media, comes from somewhere.

There is a Structure in which we all swim in like goldfish in a bowl, never being aware of the water we are swimming in. Water actually has a smell to it if you are into chemistry…

We can call it a meta-narrative or meta-structure, if you will, but I capitalize it, like the difference between truth and Truth or god and God. It is at the root of all our assumptions. American exceptionalism, neoliberalism, media, society’s conventions, all of it. It is the water.

Very. very well said. The indoctrination has the masses hypnotized to the Oligarch’s orchestrated narrative so well, that they are blind – or – in denial – to the forces controlling and making their lives miserable.

    1. I’m in arguably one of the poorest States in the Union and yet the roads and highways are packed with nice, late model vehicles apparently all heading at any moment to the same steakhouses, bistros and sports bars as I before returning to their presumably comfortable air conditioned suburban homes, widescreen TVs and/or maxed out computers all while chatting and/or gaming on their “almost” state of the art smart phones with unlimited data plans. That said, I’m sure they are nevertheless miserable with their puny, pointless non-billionaire lives and certainly resent those capitalist pigs who continue to make such an existence possible. Such faults aside, God bless America and the American dream.

  11. There is an elevated importance to ‘keeping data’ that we deem important, not only to ensure its safety, but to serve as a reminder to ourselves of what the human populace has done over the years, whether they be a member of the corporate elite or governmental institutions, or a propagandized member of the voting public.

This makes websites like the ‘Wayback Machine’ a very useful tool and one that should be maintained and safeguarded. (https://archive.org/web/web.php).

Not only that, but I’d like to think that I’m not the only person that has saved extremely important articles from useful resources over the years. I’ve got years of material saved (including articles related to Wikileaks and Assange). I continue to add to my collection every time I run into another important bit of information. One of my motivations for doing so, was to have the material for publication at some later date (again – to serve as a reminder of where we came from). I felt really compelled to save material during the run up to 2016 as that was a moment in my life that was a major tipping point and a point from which I can never turn back. I’m all the more grateful now as I read about the work being done to ‘erase’ history. Caitlin is correct about the fallibility and gullibility of human beings.

  12. Dear Caitlin,
The Bible tells us we lost “paradise” for accepting the opening to a lie, and having done so, began lying. I’ve lived around the world, a “navy brat”, and two decades as a Marine, and every society with a future, finds lying evil, and truth the foundation for honest trade, which is the world’s economic engine.
We’ve been able, the U.S., to exist in a constant, ever changing lie, because so few ever have any real duties, we’ve abdicated responsibility, and in doing so, transferred the authority we had as “Sovereign Citizens”, to those we elect with barely a second thought.
We, Americans, as a “country” are not honest, while a great many of us are on a daily basis, we don’t fully conduct our lives in truth, and we excuse it for ourselves, suggesting its a small thing, given the enormous lies which abound.
The fact is, the moment one begins living on a lie, it must ever be compounded, to keep up with natural change that ever occurs, and is the singular thing we always can expect, change. Once in a lie, one must continue, or stop and acknowledge, so one can begin where the truth was left behind, simply beginning, “here, when I quit” doesn’t undo all the destruction in one’s wake, and that is duty, if one is to get back to right”.
No one can control my narrative, nor yours, only those who have none of their own, because they don’t want to expend the effort, to find the facts, face the bastards who would abuse all of us, and refuse to lose the contest of wills.
One must have a culture, focused on principles, to turn to such, and live in them, or one must be a hermit, and hold their principles, outside society, if it will not accept them. Such hermits are left to themselves, unless they manage to gain sufficient audience, to be a threat to the power mongers.
Every “offshoot of an empire” is an opportunity for a People to choose their ways, their principles, from among any and all they admire, and make a new start. It requires people fed up with the empire, to be energetic enough, strong willed enough, to make it come to pass.
I expect when the U.S. empire fails, many Peoples will take the opportunity to turn around, and focus on their own well being, and seriously consider the long future.
Truth, as a principle, has existed far longer than history, and it’s opposite, has always been the bane of common existence. There has never been a time when all the world couldn’t eat well, live well, and do so in complete peace, except that Man is a fallen creature, and is inclined to evil, when we see benefit in the lie, outweighing the value of truth, ignoring “consequences”.
There doesn’t ever seem to have been a time when we, People the world over, haven’t been at odds and war over right action, defending against invasion to steal. If we accept the fact we are “prone to lie”, we can consciously decide not to, as a practice, and become fairly good at it. If we won’t accept it, we have to decide, case by case, what is truth, and what is manipulation, and our decision is then often controlled by our own bias.
I was born into an atheist family, well raised, in Church, because our parents had no foundation for their “moral principles”, those of basic, simple Christianity, in logic or reason, but they fully intended we three children realize them as our own, and we did. I’ve been delving in science from my earliest years, “the insatiably curious”, and convinced of God from my earliest memories, back to age one.
I’ve studied the sciences and spend my time in quantum physics, both quantum mechanics, and astrophysics, and the incredible findings of each and everything in between only serves to bolster my belief in design, external action in our world, and by this, God.
Yes indeed, all evil begins with lying, and that is the beginning of “controlling the narrative”.

  15. Yes, Propaganda is bad and it has to be debunked. Those currently leading these propaganda campaings are ill-intentioned and need to be exposed, but…

Propaganda and the Propagandists ARE NOT the root cause of all oir problems. Admitting this, puts the responsibility outside ourselves, it pushes responsability away and creates and internal representation of an external ‘bad guy’ to be fought.

It gets closer when you say

‘The root of all our problems right now is the fact that human minds are very hackable(…)’

It is our mind and the way our mind works. But then…
It is in fact the basic tenets of our world/life perception.
As long as we perceive this world/life as a place to achieve something, to be someone, to get somewhere. As long as we keep considering materialistic ‘values’ paramount we will fall for any Propaganda, any narrative which intents to present a better way to achive something, to be someone– be that a ‘successful citizen’, a ‘patriot’, an ‘outstanding professional’ or ‘spiritual leader’–is a narrative that plays with the unwarranted notion that has been instilled on us through socialization: ‘life is a game, life is a competition’…cause if there is a competition there will be ‘winners’ and ‘loosers’.

Yes, Propaganda is not good and propagandists need to be exposed, but the root cause is within us. We, each of us, is responsible for him/herself, each of us has to SEE what is INSIDE that makes us fall prey of the Propaganda and the propagandists, that makes us accept current, past and any future propaganda.

  16. • “Atrocity propaganda is how we won the war. And we’re only really beginning with it now! We will continue this atrocity propaganda, we will escalate it until nobody will accept even a good word from the Germans, until all the sympathy they may still have abroad will have been destroyed and they themselves will be so confused that they will no longer know what they are doing. Once that has been achieved, once they begin to run down their own country and their own people, not reluctantly but with eagerness to please the victors, only then will our victory be complete. It will never be final.

    • Re-education needs careful tending, like an English lawn. Even one moment of negligence and the weeds crop up again – those indestructible weeds of historical truth.”

  17. Are you ready for ” wholesale extermination “? My government, and its genocidal partners, intend to ” cull the herd ” real soon. Poor people will be eliminated. No living wages. No socialized anything. No more free stuff. The ” chaos ” will have the middle class and the poor people at war with each other. The store shelves will be empty; there will not be gas at the pumps. When you call for the police no one will be coming. The ” shitstorm ” is just over the horizon; it will be a lulu!

  18. You don’t also think then that the climate collapse due to carbon emissions narrative is also propaganda, aimed at controlling us more? When carbon credits become a reality and the environmental destruction continues maybe people will realise the extent of our manipulation

    1. Yes, I agree. Caitlin Johnstone is brilliant, important and courageous. But for some reason she doesn’t apply her same level of critical thinking to the “climate change crisis.”

Enough time has now passed that one can test the hypothesis and predictions of the global-warming alarmists against what has actually happened (or not happened). Snow did not disappear. Tornadoes and hurricanes did not become more frequent or powerful. Droughts came and went just as they always have. Record high temps were set and record cold temps were set. I don’t know of a city, even a beach community, that’s now underwater.

This said, she needs Secret Service protection for the balance of her work. And it does seem that 95 percent of her work is devoted to exposing the dangerous and psychopathic frauds of the Deep State.

      1. Of course I apply the same level of critical thinking to climate change science; I’ve just come to different conclusions than you have. This refusal to think lucidly about why other people might believe the things they believe is the same sort of lazy cognition that leads liberals to assume that Trump supporters support him because they love Nazism and fascism. My thoughts on the matter are explained here:

        1. Now that BooBoo here mentions it, I do regard the “climate change” dogma to be one of the flaws among independent media people and otherwise real “progressives.” It is a “narrative” by which they have been “pc duped” in my view and won’t let go. Won’t let go in part because they know the weight of disapproval and peer pressure would also be extremely crushing. I do consider it to be another great deception and manipulation by which power and control is sought.

Everyone is flawed, no matter how sincere.

There is one great truth teller who doesn’t buy into it, however, one I regard to be one of the “great grand daddys” of all truth tellers and “truth channels.” That’s James Corbett, whom I also say deserves a Nobel Prize or the untainted equivalent thereof.

Nobel laureate Ivar Giaever, Dr. Judith Curry, Weather Channel founder John Coleman – all good sources to get a more honest perspective on “climate change,” which is really “climategate” as far as I’m concerned.

I let “climate change” go with people I regard as important truth tellers and truth channels, however. One, because I know we are all flawed including me, and two, because there are so many huge reasons to want cleaner energy and less use of fossil fuel anyway that it doesn’t bother me too much. Unless it turns into “eco-fascism,” that is.

Your little ditty is a perfect example of projection. In fact it is the rapidly diminishing coterie of extreme denialists who fear exposure to facts and the disapproval of their fanatic fellows. The science is settled and the evidence is IRREFUTABLE. Try denying the Laws of Gravity next-at least it will be amusing.

        2. I was just eating something when I realized I would also be remiss if I did not mention something else. Even if “climate change” and the dire apocalyptic implications were true, which I reject, it’s also fairly moot. This world and this phase of human life and history is not going to be around long enough for any of it to occur. A dire apocalypse, doom and gloom and a great cataclysmic end is definitely coming, but not because of any of that. It’s coming as is written in the Bible, with the return of Christ.

I’m a bit surprised you haven’t given me a hard time about any of that by now by the way.

While some things in the Scriptures are hard to understand and can be subject to fallible understanding, it may interest some to know that there is some degree of solid basis to suggest that it’s possible there may actually not even be another century left. Long story short, based on certain statements in Scripture it may be the case that there could only be another 50 to 60 years left at the most. The reason for that has to do with the date of the reconstitution of the visible nation state of Israel and the maximum prescribed (vs. described) length of a “generation” of human life span, ie 120 years. But make no mistake and let no reader put words in my mouth – this is not a definite or dogmatic statement. I don’t claim to know the time and day of the end with certainty and the Bible is clear no one but God even does. Maybe it’s more, maybe less, God knows, but there are also certain things we know to expect beforehand.

          1. I haven’t given you a hard time because I’ve made my position on irrelevant scriptures authored by long-dead men abundantly clear already.

            1. Oh, okay. Well if you’re referring to “On Authentic Spirituality” from Monday I only skimmed a good part of that before because I was pressed for time and because people (who are really) in my position already know the truth and know all about virtually every angle by which the truth is ever opposed, and even used to do it ourselves. It did look like you made some good points there regardless though, which is not surprising.

It doesn’t matter what I say to you, and there are people who are genuinely far more qualified than me because the seemingly bright potential of my youth has been largely lost for various reasons including health issues. But it doesn’t matter what those more qualified say to you either. The human condition – all of our human condition including me – is that even if Christ were literally to have risen from the dead right in front of our eyes and we witnessed it right inside His tomb, nonetheless we would not choose the truth. That is how we all are from worst to best. I know I don’t even have to bother trying either. All I have to do is tell the truth and God will do the rest in His own time. The sad and terrifying reality of life, however, and if it were up to me it wouldn’t be this way, is that His will may not be what we would want in the end.

I’ll just mention that the death and resurrection of Christ is a fact of human history like any other. Romans 1:4 indicates that He “was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead” as a historical fact with certain truth implications.

I could mention how some brilliant people who have set out to disprove that wind up returning from their journey converted, but it makes no difference either. Even one of the founders of Harvard Law School which I imagine is not lost on anyone in the developed world in terms of significance, and one of the fellow’s books on evidence was even considered the “gold standard” for many years, but it makes no difference either. It is tempting to think things like that, of which there are many, should have some effect, but those who know the truth know it can’t. No one, not even those people, are persuaded or “converted” that way. Only God reveals the truth to each and cures our opposition or not regardless of the quality or quantity of the best evidence, logic and reason, while our own default mode is to oppose and reject literally no matter what, and that’s what we all do in our own way by ourselves. Logic, reason and truth are certain included, but above all it is a supernatural event that normally none of us wants or accepts before it happens.

A litany of untruths. Snow and, more to the point, ice are indeed disappearing, with montane glaciers in full retreat worldwide, Arctic summer sea ice fast disappearing and the Greenland and West and East Antarctic ice-caps melting faster than ever in human history. There are, nowadays, ten or more times as many hot records than cold ones set every year. The twenty hottest years ever recorded have all been since 1998. You appear to have that problem, common among the ignorant, of not being capable of comprehending time. Your life is short, but climate changes over decades. And over recent decades climate destabilisation has proceeded faster than in all human history-to deny the FACTS, at this late stage, is simply criminal.

        1. You have made me laugh I must say. You’re supposed to be making fun of me, but I’m making fun of you. I’m the only one in a position to do that too, sadly enough.

Criminal, ay? Yes, if enough of these genuine progressives I like so much did get into positions of power I guess it would become true eco-fascism.

It’s all settled and irrefutable, ay? Like the “law” of evolution as the origin of species too, how about that one? Go for it.

I’m actually open minded to the possibility, but after looking at what has been presented so far my honest truth seeking mind has simply decided the BS and the corrupt influence upon “science” tests appear to be failed. So far. And there are some pretty smart accomplished people out there who also don’t buy it. “Inconvenient” people for sure. But I guess they just don’t count, ay? Not even Judith Curry, ay? LOL.

And like I said – even if it were true, there’s no time. This world will most certainly end long before any such thing can do us in. And for the record, if there is any warming that is truly anomalous, aside from any other type of climate change, I’m inclined to believe the Sun has more to do with it than anything else, if it’s really happening to a genuinely anomalous degree.

I will gladly go for elimination of fossil fuel use and all vehicles being electric though, just not in too draconian and fascistic a way.

Now lay it on me again, you know you want to, lol.

  19. You clearly know that the tools we currently have will not change the status quo. So why do you keep on suggesting we email our MHRs, sign e-petitions, go to rallies, protest (peacefully) in the streets, to “free Julian Assange”, or end world poverty, or make world peace or whatever. You know none of this will work.

Maybe nothing will work, but maybe protesting violently in the streets will work. Last night there was video footage on SBS TV News of “the people” of Hong Kong (of course NOT influenced by the CIA behind the scenes) protesting violently in the streets. They were of course met with fierce police resistance as they attempted to get into government offices, but they could have gone elsewhere and found other government offices and burnt them to the ground. They could have burnt cars. They could have burnt Court buildings. Or done any number of other things that would have made the government quake with fear.

SBS told us that there were a million protesters, over and over again, like it was a fact. They also mentioned that the police had said there were only 250,000, but that obviously didn’t count, because somebody (who?) had said a million. The narrative is , of course, that CHINA is BAD and US is GOOD. So off you go and sign up for a war on China.

My main concern is that when the people have been beaten down to the point of starvation, and must strike back to survive, that they won’t know any better than to go on a peaceful protest rally, and get tear-gassed, beaten with night-sticks, shot with rubber bullets and bean-bags, bitten by trained attack-dogs and trampled by police horses. You are going to have to tell them precisely what to do, so why not start now?

    1. It’s a prisoners’ dilemma. Everyone would be better off if everyone followed more-or-less your line of thinking. However, every one of us will be worse off if we go in that direction without a sufficient number of our fellow citizens beside us.
“Sufficient number” will surface about……… when?

  20. “not backing down”, arguably the biggest BDS event, is completely ignored by the entire internet as well as by the corporate media. as if it never happened. people’s voice is silenced, and people’s will is erased. does anyone have any doubt about who own the propaganda machine, manipulate the public opinion, and propagandize the world and why??????

  21. Just watched “The End of Kings.” Great stuff about what has happened, but the end is already written. There will be a new heaven and a new earth with a new kind of humanity, but not in the way that you wish or hope. There will never be any kind of moral or spiritual “evolution” of humankind on our own either. It’s always amazing how someone as smart as you cannot see certain things like that, but that is the nature of the human condition until more complete truth is literally forced upon us. None of us even chooses it ourselves. And until then there will eventually be some kind of Orwellian dystopia right before the end of this phase of life and history. It’s all in the Bible, as much as we need to know.

    1. The bible is a set of myths that were preceded by 2000 years of other myths (see: Greek and Roman mythology). It helped the people who lived at that time process things they couldn’t understand, and kept the folkore of the time recorded. To use that as a basis of fortune-telling is wrongminded. The earth isn’t ending; humans are, and the reasons are fully explained by science.

      1. Well that’s one angle of opposition, and you are certainly wrong about that, but I don’t have much time or inclination now to give a full “treatment.” I’m also not the most qualified by any means.

What I will say, however, is that I hope you are familiar with the saying “All truth is God’s truth.” Not only does “science” not contradict anything pertaining to the truth of God and His word to us in the Scriptures, but we only have science and any knowledge that is genuinely true because He has allowed and given it. To the extent that any so-called “science” has discovered anything genuinely true, it has merely been the discovery of His truth about creation.

The reality, however, is that because we live in a “fallen” world in which the human propensity for depravity, corruption and evil affects every area of life, we by no means have any “science” that is not affected by that or immune to it. Anyone thinking we do is deluding themselves and extremely naive. I actually consider myself to be extremely “scientific,” and certainly aced every academic class I ever had in science as far as I recall now, and in my “truth seeking” mind the “science” associated with so-called “climate change” and the agenda pushed with it appears to be extremely flawed, dishonest, and extremely prone to the infection and infusion of human corruption, dishonesty and depravity.

The reality also is – if the human condition were not what it is, we would no doubt now have “science” which so far surpasses what we have now that it would scarcely be recognizable compared to what we have now. Science from God, all about His truth.

Are you a Cultural Anthropologist or an atheist “end-times” protagonist? If the former, how is it that you’ve neglected to mention the influence of ancient African (both north and south) mythology on biblical myths, while exclusively referencing “Greek and Roman mythology” as a precursor?
The promulgation of various forms of dogmatic “Magical thinking” has been recognised for millennia as a means to achieve control of small and large groups, tribes, nations and even world-wide contingencies. While such “control” could be benevolent and actually exercised to improve the “common good”, its purpose far too often occurs as but an opening ploy in a corruptive quest to achieve empirical or tyrannical power and greed.

        As Usual,

        1. You can say things like “biblical myths” all you want, but it won’t…can’t…doesn’t…you know.

        2. Oh but addressing issues of seeking to use “religion” for control, tyranny and greed is certainly valid. I’ve even recently said plenty about the sad state of “capture” of the evangelical population in the USA myself. And make no mistake: the true God of the true Bible will most certainly judge these things on the last day.

Well said Mary, but you’re dealing with a rock-a religiously brainwashed rock.

  22. I call them our ” Owners ” because they own us! The United States quagmires in South Korea and Vietnam really upset our owners. The ” populace ” taking to the streets everywhere was not to their liking at all. The owners were not going to change their objectives; the owners decided to block anything and everything that influence ” their stupid subjects “! The draft was eliminated. No more bad war reports on television. The United States is always the good guys in the white hats. Our enemies are everywhere. etc. etc. The year is 2019 but the reality is George Orwell’s 1984. Big Brother has all of us by the short hairs now. Check this out:

We are being ” hoodwinked ” by our very rich and very evil owners that have us eating each other up while they just get richer! War Is Peace!

  23. When the Romanian REAL Guccifer got Podesta password (password) by phishing, exposing his pizza and walnut sauce perversions, the US had him jailed. When WikiLeaks made a DNC dump, CrowdStrike concocted Guccifer 2.0, then more leaks Fancy Bear, and more leaks Cozy Bear. All these CrowdStrike fabrications used CIA Vault 7 fingerprints to frame Russia. It is time to execute our ruling demonic warlords.

  24. Thanks Caitlin. Clearly, “1984” is real.

I have written on propaganda for more than 20 years and this piece of yours is valuable research.

The Century of the Self is a great four-part documentary series about the effectiveness of propaganda. Please watch it, and share it on Facebook. It’s a subtle way to get your MSM consuming/trusting friends and family to be more critical of the narrative they are being fed.

  26. I enjoyed this. I should get your books… What type of blockchain platforms do you think will be helpful in disarming the empire? My understand is that they fear it. Because decentralization…

    1. People are deluding themselves about the long term prospects of crypto. “Government” will never stand for anything constituting “money” outside of its power and control, and the “decentralization” mantra is a delusion and myth. Government can crush crypto any time it wants.

Digitally virtually certain to be the future, however, and this is where history is inevitiably heading:

The technological feasibility is already here, even as a literal “mark” no less.

  27. No comments yet, seriously? I would give this one blog post alone a Nobel Prize or the untainted equivalent thereof.

That said, Caitlin, briefly looked at your recent post “Authentic Spirituality” a while ago. I don’t always have so much time either, so the short version is that while you may have made some good or valid points in it, the truth is still that the Bible is true and is the word of God to humanity, and what is commonly referred to as Christianity is true. Christ Himself is “the truth,” and He lived, died and rose from the dead in history when he did approximately two millennia ago. He will also return, bodily, just as He said.

Now I can’t wait to share this new “Nobel Prize” worthy post of yours.
