Listen to a reading of this article:

It’s really too bad that anyone who thinks it might be a good idea to stop exponentially escalating this proxy war is an evil Nazi Putin propagandist, because things are getting very very dangerous.

Normal person: I think it would be good if everyone didn’t die in a nuclear holocaust.

Crazy person: That means you love Vladimir Putin.

Normal person: No I just think it would be a good idea to try to prevent the horrific death of literally everyone.

Crazy person: How much is the Kremlin paying you to say that?

Fucking lunatics.

Resisting nuclear armageddon is the least partisan position that anyone could possibly have. The least one-sided. The least “campist”. It’s just being a normal human organism with the most normal human impulse you could possibly come up with. It’s absolutely insane that anyone tries to spin it otherwise.

A society where opposing nuclear armageddon is treated as freakish and evil is the most backwards and insane society imaginable. Seriously, try to imagine anything crazier and more backwards than that. A society where everyone walks and drives backwards? That’s less crazy and backwards. A society where the dogs own the people? That’s less crazy and backwards.

This is it. This is peak crazy. A thinking species which regards as outrageous heresy any opposition to brinkmanship that can cause its extinction cannot get any more crazy. It’s turned as far away from sanity as any thinking creature could possibly be.

Maybe it would be wise to stop playing the “Let’s cross Putin’s red lines, I bet he’s bluffing this time” game.

People who aren’t gravely concerned about the rapidly escalating brinkmanship between the US and Russia simply have not spent enough time researching the facts and contemplating the reality of what nuclear war would mean. Their composure comes solely from psychological avoidance.

It is a bit hilarious that humans rapidly evolved these massive brains only to become the first species to go extinct due to stupidity.

FYI you should always be less trusting of your government in times of war, not more.

Analysis of the war in Ukraine which does not account for the western provocations which gave rise to it is not analysis at all. It’s propagandistic children’s literature.

If your proxy war demands nonstop PR spin and mass media propaganda at maximum aggression to manufacture public consent for it, maybe your proxy war is immoral and bad.

The only way you can believe Russia is threatening with nuclear weapons in a way the US is not would be to think the US has a No First Use nuclear policy. Which would of course be false and silly.

When one side of the new cold war wants multipolarity where world power is much less centralized and the other side wants unipolar planetary domination where the entire world obeys Washington DC and its puppet masters, it’s not hard to figure out which side is the aggressor.

Be completely dismissive of those who object to your criticisms of western imperial aggression. The one and only reason they expect their dopey opinions to be taken seriously is because their position has been artificially normalized by copious amounts of propaganda. That’s it.

The one and only thing making your worldview look strange and suspicious and the worldview of empire apologists look normal is the fact that we’ve all been swimming in empire propaganda our entire lives. It’s got nothing to do with the factuality or validity of anyone’s position. In reality, focusing one’s criticisms on the most dangerous impulses of the most powerful and destructive power structure on earth is the normal thing to do. It’s not strange and suspicious when you do it, it’s strange and suspicious that everyone else does not.

  5. Speaking of “peak crazy”, which I find hilarious, insightful, and naive all at the same time, I’ve thought about openly and aggressively advocating nuclear holocaust to at least achieve insanity dominance.

  6. Sperm whales have the largest brains of all. What do you make of that?

    1. And, of course, women’s brains are smaller than men’s, on average.

      1. Sperm whales must be pretty smart, without hesitation they know to swim right up the canal.

  7. If an 18-year-old high school student can beat a Republican incumbent in Boise, Idaho, Moore argues, something is happening that the media can’t see.
Michael Moore predicts Democrats will win big in the midterms. Could he be right again? (salon.com-10/10/22-Sophia A. Mcclennen)

    1. He could be right, but they would need a huge (and unlikely) increase in voter turnout. More likely they lose the house, have two years worth of dramatic fights with the Republicans over budget reconciliation, but no major policy changes.

      1. “but no major policy changes.”
It’s a dysfunctional system at best; no major policy changes to their Ponzi scheme.

  8. Tulsi Gabbard is leaving the Democratic party because they’re a bunch of “woke warmongers” which of course we all know and she starts her own podcast.
She’s a very nice girl with very good intentions. Unfortunately, she still doesn’t get it. She endorsed Biden because he had “a good heart” and look where we are. On the Joe Rogan piece below, they debate the possibility of nuclear war and the ridiculous video by New York about what to do if you’re hit by a nuclear blast. Stay inside and stay tuned. I’m asking you… I saw that in Finland they’re advising people to get iodine. I’m asking you again…
Those people can’t be that clueless and so what’s the game here?
Anyway, Tulsi’s piece ends on a let-down when she seems to be under the impression carried by the corporate media that Putin might resort to nuclear strikes because “he’s boxed himself into a corner”.
If she wants to bring about change, she’ll have to leave the National Guard and stop getting her news from the corporate media. Putin has not boxed himself into a corner and he’s never threatened anyone with nuclear war. Every time he’s mentioned it, it was in response to a Nato threat. It is Nato that are trying to push him to go nuclear as they have pushed him into the war.
People who don’t get this and that priority number one is to call out Nato for what they are, cynical warmongers, terrorists and ruthless imperialists ready to let a people suffer and die to achieve world supremacy, is wasting everybody’s time.
Let’s hope she finally gets the fact that Biden and his handlers are monsters, and that Nato is the biggest threat to mankind ever!

    1. PS: Scott Ritter makes it quite clear here that Putin is by no means “boxed into a corner”:

      1. Yes. Quite clear from Col. Macgregor (39:30 mark) as well:

” I saw that in Finland they’re advising people to get iodine. I’m asking you again…
Those people can’t be that clueless and so what’s the game here?”
Is this fearmongering, designed by the Pentagon and Pfizer, to maximize profit through the massive marketing of iodine? I also recently read about the purchase, by an uncertain country, of a blood related component that’s purported to mitigate the effects of irradiation (as I recall).

      1. It was also my first reaction to think that they will capitalize on everything they can from a nuke scare. We’ll probably see anti-nukes tinfoil hats, no radiation emergency kits, anti-radiations masks and of course one may wonder if the whole New York hoax was not opening the door for some sort of nuclear lockdown that will allow Amazon and other home deliverers to make a killing – so to speak. It’s pretty clear by now that these guys will stop at nothing to make a buck.

        1. “Tinfoil hats”
Speaking of that, where the hell is it? I never leave home without mine as it helps with fresh ideas.

        2. “will stop at nothing to make a buck”
We are only a commodity to be exploited by the American Oligarch and the rotten capitalist system (e.g.-insurance fees, disease care deductibles, permits, overdraft fees, resort fees, convenience fees, mortgage fees, ticketing fees, student fees, late fees, credit card fees, gasoline taxes, food taxes, income taxes, digital delivery fee, Hotel service and cleaning fee, processing fee, shipping and handling fees, email delivery fee, facility charge fee, camping fee, registration fees, donation fee, insufficient funds penalty, low activity bank account fee, negative interest rate tax, early termination fee, early withdrawal fee, non-exact change toll gate fee, administrative fee, gift card fee for late use, computer and campus fees, fee to print tickets on your own computer…)

        3. “will stop at nothing to make a buck.”
Capitalism: insatiable demand for victims and resources.
Exposed: how Pfizer exploits secretive vaccine contracts to strong-arm governments “Pfizer has used its monopoly on a lifesaving vaccine to extract concessions from desperate governments,” said the report’s author, urging action from the Biden administration. (nationofchange.org-10/20/21-Jessica Corbett)

    3. One wonders what sort of corner these people imagine Russia is boxed into, since it is winning and can sustain the present level of commitment indefinitely or until the last Ukrainian, whichever comes first. I think people just have a hard time with the concept of something the US can’t pound into submission. That and the current official groupthink is that Russia is about to go nuclear so that’s what the group currently thinks.

      .uoy emalb I yas t’naC

      1. “The other side of the looking glass”
Absolutely. Why not? The view from the one side is like the carrot on a stick idiom. The US entices you with the carrot (a motivator), but they also hold the stick (threat of punishment). They say, “work hard, and you can have a bite of the carrot.” But just when you’re near enough to take a bite of that sweet carrot, it is suddenly whisked away, and the stick, as a substitute for the carrot, is used to beat you on the ass. Why? With capitalism there are never enough carrots (resources), or victims (foreclosed homes, downsized careers, fabricated wars, artificial inflation, grifting politicians, profligate kleptocrats, oppressive inequality, Wall Street crashes, artificially low interest rates, terminated employment, unemployment, inadequate healthcare–disease care–, non-livable paycheck, racism, double standards…) Whoa, I need a vacation after that. The view from the other side is uncertain, but what do we really have to lose? Stand for one thing or fall for everything.

  13. I keep thinking of the U.S. false flag Gulf of Tonkin “incident” in 1964 and how effective that was in convincing the gullible population and the complicit U.S. Congress – by a vote of 88 to 2 in the Senate and 414 to 0 in the House of Representatives (try to imagine such criminals) – that U.S. destroyers were innocently attacked by the North Vietnamese and that Lyndon Johnson should be given the authority to respond to repel “communist aggression,” which, of course, he did by bombing North Vietnam and sending 500,000 troops to savagely destroy Vietnam and Vietnamese nearly 9,000 miles from the United States. Johnson simply lied to wage war and Biden is doing the same today. But far too many people love their leaders’ lies because it allows them to secretly feel justified in the lies they themselves tell in personal matters. And what may be true of the distant past, can’t be true today.
    Global Research

  14. The comment section is sizzling with great reset plots, Nazis, population reduction with tactical nukes, someone who confused giraffes with ostriches. A slice of crazy in a crazy world. The original demented leader, Reagan, waggled peace through strength at the world, when everyone knew it is strength through peace. Didn’t Saint Ronnie joke about the peaceful looking like Tarzan, smelling like Cheetah and walking like Jane? We boast about innovation but can’t seem to innovate past being belligerent assholes. All options are on the table, meaning nukes, has been the measured response, as though nuclear brinkmanship is a pillow fight, from US leaders from Cheney to Hillary to Pompeo to Blinken. It’s a delusion, a dream, thinking a weapon bestows safety, ignoring the aftermath of its use. In our hearts, we know it’s strength through peace, but heart is ignored.

    1. The Chinese have this interesting notion that what is yang (hard) inside is generally yin (soft) outside and vice-versa. It is true with fruits. Nuts which have a hard shell have a soft kernel whereas sherries which have a soft pulp have a hard pit. And also with people. The ones who make a lot of noise are trying to keep potential opponents at bay to avoid having to fight them. The more dangerous ones speak softly, like Don Corleone, and hit hard without warning.
Reagan’s quote was about hippies: ““A hippie is someone who looks like Tarzan, walks like Jane and smells like Cheetah”, which probably drew laughs in hillbillies’ cafés, but his hippies were a pure product of his caveman imagination since real hippies didn’t look like Tarzan (unless Schwarzenegger was a hippie and we didn’t know), didn’t walk like Jane and didn’t smell like Cheetah – more like incense and patchouli actually.
Reagan did look like Cheetah though even if he probably smelt like Jane and thought like Tarzan.

  15. US military leaders have gone on the record many times over the last several years with the belief they could win a nuclear war

    How Insane is that??

    1. “How Insane is that??”
They haven’t seen the ball since the kickoff.

  16. “A society where the dogs own the people? That’s less crazy and backwards”.
Thank God for that! Because we live in a society where the dogs own the people. In the past, there was a social contract between dogs and people. Dogs would bark at strangers and scare them off, including robbers and murderers, they would keep the herds in line toward the grazing field and then the slaughterhouse, they would bring back wild animals that people had shot… People in turn would feed them – which was often a win-win deal because dogs would get to the meat on the bones that humans couldn’t be bothered to tear off. Also, before the invention of napkins and forks round about the XVth century, people would wipe their hands on dogs (and cats) after biting what they could off a chicken drumstick or a leg of lamb. They had indispensable social functions.
This is over. Now diminutive Yorkies and Chihuahuas spend their time barking at everything that moves and whine if you shoot them over the fence while their mistresses threaten to denounce you to PETA before leaning over to pick up the turd they just graced the world with and throw it in the nearest trash can.
Whenever I see a pretty girl, who’s spent precious minutes putting on war paints and spraying delicate perfumes over her skin and hair bend over to pick up the stinking and sticky turd of her little doggie, I have not the slightest doubt that dogs now own people. Especially since this turd comes out of three meals a day for doing absolutely nothing but play with a tennis ball or lie down reading the papers as they get old.

  17. Yeah the old tell yourself a big lie trick tell yourself a lie then tell yourself to forget that you told yourself that and forget that you told yourself that last line of code as well until such time as you no longer need that lie or need to hide that lie because you were the perfect fake psychopath that could never be broken to reveal the lie! LOL. Classes are available online to do just that but did anyone bother to test if it really worked? Other than in the most fake sort of way? Or take note that some times people actually do sometimes unintentionally forget? That if the self forgets that there’s a lock to be unlocked then the key is effectively lost. Of course only greatly abused children would ever need such a self-induced hypnosis so chalk it up to religious beliefs Christians have been doing it to themselves for centuries waiting for the judgement. LOL wouldn’t it be funny as hell that this is in fact the judgement? That their little white lie became the big lie that was the death of us all? Funny because that was the whole intent from the very start. Certainly even you Caitlin can appreciate the humor in that and once we’re all dead we can finally get on with our spiritual lives and do it all over again. What do you think?

There won’t be a nuclear war. It is all on record even according to the CIA. The Yanks and the entire west know too well that that will be the end for them as well. The US are not that stupid not to know what a nuclear war with Russia will result in. The brinkmanship by Biden is nothing but a scare tactic to drive westerners into the US/Ukraine camp by portraying VP as someone who is deranged and dangerous. North Korean situation is proof enough that where there are nuclear weapons, the US acts responsibly and with utmost circumspection. Understandably, westerners are being rattled as a result of the Biden/Democratic party propaganda whose aim is to save their own party from oblivion. The trumpeting of a nuclear annihilation by Biden is another Kamala Harris-like nonsense that is so much rife in the demented Biden admin. The Democratic Party is badly and dangerously obsessed with the bad Russia that exists only in their delusional minds just as are the Republicans with their own version of what China is.

Yes, you are right , there will be no war … as an element of Universal Plan…

    2. You leave out how armed to the teeth an accident can start it all. Look at the history of all of the close calls!

  20. I just reread Reich’s The Mass Psychology of Fascism. He fundamentally says, there is no cure from the adult personality raised by abuse. Buried deep will be the unrecoverable true self, imprisoned by habitual punishments in order to make the child acceptable, resulting in an adult with vicious reaction patterns, vicious panics. I have been searching for answers to somehow address the suicidal/homicidal fascist man/woman and the ease by which psychopaths manage them. I am afraid of my fellow man/woman and do see nuclear war obliterating us all. Of the eight billion humans, the majority are the dazed poor, and they are not needed in the post industrial world. They are being put to sleep with poisons. That may be enough for the nazis on top if most people will be sickened by age thirty and die by age 60. They have developed actual tactical nuclear bombs with limited fallout so city after city can be destroyed without destroying the whole planet.

Oh, they can control the wind now, can they?

    2. Reich is no psychologist and apparently never interviewed trauma therapists or experts in the field or read any up-to-date material on trauma healing. Patients DO heal their trauma–we have several different modalities for this that work amazingly well. I’ve seen veterans with crippling PTSD become functional in 1-3 months with eye movement therapy. The process takes longer if you were abused in childhood but many people, even those with complex PTSD, have been restored to good mental health. I’m retired from hospital mental health and have seen many people heal their trauma; it’s a field of psychology most people are unaware of.

  21. And don’t most people agree with this Hell on Earth, since the rulers of all countries still rule, the system is still the same, only the faces change, but not the essence?
Armageddon. Or maybe it’s just a screen, a pressure, a manipulation of humanity to continue the great reset plan? – Fear and controlled chaos, as a distraction. It’s worth looking at the details.
And the red lines. There is a growing sense that there is a great spectacle going on for humanity: Putin’s words do not match his deeds: resources go to the enemy, dividends are paid to the enemy, criminal Nazi commanders are released, although this is the stated purpose of the operation (they are needed to continue?), political and military leadership are unharmed, weapons supply lines are intact – strikes at decision-making centers? Seems like an artificial stalling of the war, as if there is a big globo pact. The roles are being played.

    1. Both sides are furiously gearing up for war. This is simply the lull before tge storm. Dont listen to what they say but look at what they are doing. The US just purchased approx. 300 million dollars worth of the latest drug for radiation sickness. I expect a draftcto be implemented in the US before long. Articles about recruiting shortfalls inr tge MSM is no coincidence.

  22. The brain evolved to solve problems and help its owner survive at least until it reproduces. Killing other humans often serves this role. But that usually brings multifarious consequences and is not always advantageous. Unfortunately, the brain has not evolved nearly as well to look beyond the quick and dirty fix, to consider the bigger picture and all the potential blow back usually accompanying such rash judgement.
    ~
Carl Sagan said it was the lizard (most primitive) part of our “triune” brain mostly responsible for such dysfunctional behavior, but I never heard of any lizard to be guilty of mass murder or genocide. Lizards sleep well knowing they’ve killed only what they have been genetically programed to eat. It’s not like humans haven’t ages ago already established that murder kill war fall under forbidden acts, if not for moral and ethical reasons (which you might argue are merely human constructs and not cosmic truths) then at least for all the bother they will cause to both your targets and yourself.

    1. If I can get rid of you, that leaves more for me.
