We’re being driven toward nuclear war on the completely fictional claim that Putin is a Hitler-like megalomaniac who’s just invading countries completely unprovoked, solely because he is evil and hates freedom, and won’t stop invading and conquering until he’s stopped by force.
The news media aren’t telling people about the western aggressions which led to this war. They’re not telling people the US is keeping this war going with the stated goal of weakening Russia and is rejecting peace talks and refusing to push for peace. All people are being told is that Putin is another Hitler who won’t listen to reason and only understands violence. The world’s two nuclear superpowers are being pushed closer and closer to direct military confrontation based on a complete fiction which omits mountains of facts.
To participate in this madness is indefensible. It is indefensibly immoral to foist a fictional version of events upon a trusting populace in order to manufacture consent for more and more aggressive acts of brinkmanship with a nuclear superpower. These people are depraved.

The closer we get to nuclear war the less patience I have for sectarian spats between people who are supposed to be opposing war and militarism. Grow the fuck up and get over yourselves. This is more important than you and your ego.

Don’t let anyone tell you your criticisms of US warmongering make no difference; if they didn’t, the empire wouldn’t work so hard to dissuade you from making them. They work so hard to manufacture public consent for their agendas because they absolutely require that consent.
An entire globe-spanning empire rests on our closed eyelids. Depends on keeping us in a propaganda-induced coma. Circulating ideas and information which discredit and dispute that propaganda poses a direct threat to that empire. That’s what all the censorship of dissent is about.
Is your one tweet, video or public demonstration going to bring the empire crashing down? Of course not. But it will spread awareness by that much. And all positive changes in human behavior are always preceded by an expansion of awareness. You’re nudging us all toward awakening to whatever extent you help expand awareness of truth and reality.
We can’t be the Hollywood hero who single-handedly decapitates the machine, but we can all collectively throw sand in its gears, making it harder and harder for it to function. That’s what disrupting the imperial propaganda machine accomplishes, because that machine depends on propaganda. The weakest part of an empire that’s held together by lies and manipulation is its lies and manipulations; that’s why it’s such an aggressively protected aspect of its power. And it happens to be the one part that anyone with a voice can attack, and attack effectively.
The nightmare scenario for our rulers is the same as the nightmare scenario for every ruler throughout history: that the masses will get sick of their rule and use the power of their numbers to get rid of them. That’s exactly what the propaganda matrix is designed to prevent.
One aspect of this struggle that is a bit like a Hollywood movie is that it kind of is a struggle between light and darkness, because the empire depends on keeping its activities obfuscated and unseen while we’re all working to make its machinery visible and transparent. That’s why Assange is in prison. It’s also why internet censorship keeps ramping up, why propaganda is getting more and more blatant, and why online discussion is swarmed by astroturf trolling ops. Those in power are working against the people to keep things dark and unseen.

One thing lost that must be kept in mind with the “hitlerization” of enemies was that Hitler himself was “hitlerized.” He was not just a maniacal madman who wanted to perpetrate evil for the sake of evil. He was just a man. A man who had a vision for how the world could/should be, and thought any sacrifices made were worth achieving that goal. Sound familiar? The creation of the “ultimate evil” persona made and continues to make it much easier to portray conflicts in a strictly good vs evil dynamic, ignoring any other factors that might lead to conflict. And if you can successfully convince people a struggle is purely about good vs evil, then it isn’t much of a step further to convince people theirs is the side of “good”, which then excuses any sort of horrifying act or tactic to fight the “evil” (bombing of Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki).

The United States has a rapacious hunger for resources and victims (predatory capitalism). From Bretton Woods to this day, the US had positioned itself, through might makes right, to having just about every advantage one could ask for (e.g.-US’ dollar as default world currency, Petro dollar, global military power, capacity to develop new advanced technologies, US dominated hegemonic strategy through NATO, etc.), but somehow, it was not enough—there are limits to American power. After a whole summer of “You’re gonna fucking freeze your balls and starve next winter in Europe”, we’re starting to learn now that Europe’s gas reserves are in fact at 91%, that extra gas is gonna come from Israel, that the Nord Stream 2 still has one pipe anyway and that Putin is as amenable to resuming deliveries as ever, which is in Europe’s interest because they’ll have to pay for the gas they’ve contracted long-term anyway whether it’s delivered or not.

There are studies out now showing vaccinated people are actually more likely to catch covid again than the unvaccinated with natural immunity.
So far every study I’ve been told proved me wrong was factually empty, containing a lot of quotes from people who were mad because Trump lost, but no real science. I was talking to a crazed but otherwise amicable warmonger acquaintance yesterday and it occurred to me that it seems the gullible tend to be the most skeptical, which makes sense since they’re the ones that most need skepticism, being the gullible sort and all, but skepticism without intelligence doesn’t do much good and maybe humanity as a whole is better off with nihilism, just toss the baby out with the bathwater if they can’t tell the difference. FACT, the folks who rule this World, do so for one purpose, and that is to accumilate as much money as humanly possible during their lives. It doesn’t take Einstien, to work out there’s no profit what ever, in nuclear war. Everything stops for the next 100 years or so, whilst the managers of the event, turn to dust. So the question needs to be asked, why on earth would they wish to burn the World, and thus chuck out any chance of enriching themselves further ? Sorry, I don’t buy the propaganda.
There is also, another issue on the table as well. Many reports over the past, (especially near U.S. military bases wherein nuclear weapons are stored) have claimed U.F.O.’s flying over them, and then hovering over the silos. Afterwards it was discovered the weapons within were useless, and somehow had been neutralised. IF, these reports are true, it clearly shows there are other life forms on this planet, that will do everything in their power, to stop a nuclear holocaust, as the results would also effect them as well.
Therefore we have TWO very good reasons, to discard this fearmongering, and get on with the job of replacing all these entities who think they are better than the rest of us.
I rather agree with the first argument but there’s a non sequitur in the second in saying “IF, these reports are true” and then immediately suppressing the “IF” to consider them as definitely true no matter what and state in the same breath “Therefore we have TWO very good reasons, to discard this fearmongering”. Sorry, the second one is NOT a “very good reason” due to your own initial admission of doubt.
I am so glad that you brought up the issue of the fly saucers and the silos and non- functional missile systems, because this isn’t the first time about any part of that story, old news run again as a repeat performance, and there is so much more to the story than that both true and false these stories are probably just testing the waters to see how the public responds and therefore how to play it so as to sell a story with the least resistance.

Most people I know, here in the exceptional nation, have zero interest in the Ukraine conflict. They neither hate Russians nor cheer for Ukrainians, and haven’t any concern about immanent nuclear war. They are totally preoccupied with their everyday lives and get far more worked up about the prices at the pump and the grocery store than about some far-off war where both sides, they figure, are at fault.
